The room was generally comfortable, but unfortunately, I found 2 cockroaches in the room, which I didn’t make a fuss about and removed myself, but this certainly would put a lot of people off. That being said, the bathroom was very modern and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and adequate size considering you are just using them to store your bags and sleep. No real down sides to this location. Centrally located 15 minutes to Trevi and 24 minutes to Piazza Nouva. No matter who worked the desk they were all really nice and willing to help. Would 100% stay again.

Food and shoppings options near. Friendly staff. When traveling, the room is the last thing we are worried about since we are only there to sleep and shower so as long as the AC works and the shower is hot, then no complaints. And both were great. The only small complaint would be that the fridge is very small but as long as you dont get large drinks, youll be fine. Yes there are quute a few stairs to the lobby and yes the elevator is small but those are really such small issues that it shouldnt matter. I do recommend this hotel and would stay again

Nice small hotel, serves the purpose if you are just looking for something inexpensive near the center and just to sleep. The room is extremely small, the bed is a bit hard, bathroom is small. Breakfast had a limited selection, we only ate there once and it was a quick way to get some food before a very early tour. Otherwise, it's not worth eating there any cafe will have a better breakfast option. At the same time, the hotel is clean, quiet, location is great as well as the price.

The Hotel was booked because it was fairly near to friends in another hotel.
First impressions are of an older traditional type of hotel.
The hotel lift does not go down to ground level, so you will need to go to reception and get someone to carry your cases up to your room, they are most willing to arrange that.
My room was smallish, as was the bathroom, but all was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was disappointing, small choice, and mixed quality.
If you can manage some walking, the hotel location is pretty close to several places of interest, with lots of good restaurants and bars nearby.
Overall, the hotel met our needs for the three nights we stayed there.

The room was smaller that the standard cruise cabin! The elevator can barely fit 2 and reception is on the second floor after you climb a large stairway. The staff will carry your luggage up and down those stairs. The breakfast didn't seem worth it, so we did other arrangements. Staff was helpful

Really lovely little hotel. A gem of a find, tucked away near the opera house but only 15-20 minutes walk from most of the tourist attractions. 10 min stroll from Termini bus/rail station and Repubblica Metro station. Very quiet, immaculately clean with very helpful, friendly and respectful staff.
Breakfast was not included in the price but was available at a small cost. Lots of cafes, trattorias just a few moments away.
Look forward to visiting again and would recommend to anyone.

This was our third stay at Hotel Lirico. For a busy Rome holiday this hotel is perfect for location and facilities. The staff are amazing, they are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Daily housekeeping is such a treat when you've had a busy day out and get back to your room with fresh towels and a very well made bed (we did make our own bed but they still re-made it like it had never been slept in, perfect). I thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel. Thank you so much to all of you at Lirico...until the next time...

Hotel Lirico is centrally located to many attractions and is within walking distance to the Termini. The staff was helpful and the room was clean and quiet. There are quite a number of stairs ascending to the lobby. This could be a problem for someone with disabilities.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lirico and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Hotel was much nicer than the one we stayed at previously, the decor and condition of the hotel in general was fantastic value for money. Nice modern bathroom, spacious hotel room for what we paid. The pillows could do with being comfier but other than that perfect for us. We had a small issue with our childs cot but that was rectified immediately. Upon checkout we were paying our charges for city tax, cot rental and breakfast however the hotel was lovely enough to give us all breakfast for free as we had a small child with us and in their words 'he needs to eat he is only a baby' which we thought was absolutely lovely. Wardrobe space was also very good compared to most hotels we stay in. The only other negative we had was our fridge was very small, way to small to fit a 1.5l bottle of water in let alone much else.

Stayed for one night between our arrival in Rome and our cruise the next day. Hotel was well located near train station. Easy walk to most major sites. Room was basic but comfortable and clean. Bed was a bit firm for our liking - but even with that we'd stay there again.

I am disabled. The property did not indicate the mountain of steep stairs to get to the reception, so I had issues. These stairs were NOT mentioned in the description of the property. The super tiny lift was another 2 small flights of stairs. There was no where to relax, no lounge or anywhere inside or outside to just sit. Don't rely on them to get you a taxi in time. We waited 45 minutes for our taxi which was \"2 minutes away.\" The room was clean and the reception staff were very nice. I did have a bit of an issue when one of the housekeeping staff was annoyed because I was still in the room and she wanted to clean it. She very reluctantly gave me 5 minutes to leave.

John checked us in and he was very friendly/helpful w information. There was another person at the check in counter at different time but he wasn't as warm as John. Fantastic location, nice and clean property, plenty of restaurants and mini-marts nearby. Easy walking distance to Termini station (we used Termini station to get to airport and cruise port), metro stations and many popular tourist sites. I highly recommend the breakfast here, for 6 euro, it's a great way to start your day before doing your site seeing. Wi-Fi is fast too.

Hotel Lirico is great! We have stayed here before and will do so again. Everyone is friendly and approachable and nothing is too much trouble. We can't name anyone in particular because they are all brilliant. The hotel itself is within 5 minutes of the metro which takes you to all the sights. The hotel will sort out taxis and airport transfers for you. The rooms are spotless and very well serviced everyday. The beds are really comfortable, so set your alarms so you don't sleep in!

The people at the front desk were very knowledgable, gave us a map, and outlined the must-sees in Rome. They even recommended their favorite restaurants and mailed our postcards on our behalf!

The hotel room itself looked a bit old, with older wallpaper, but it's Rome! The place was clean, and the staff friendly. You can easily walk to the Colosseum and other ruins. No complaints!

The only little thing is their lift that can carry only one person at the time. If you want to use the stairs, someone has to go up by the lift and open the door to stairs as this is a one way fire escape staircase. Slightly annoying if you traveling in a bigger group.

Lack of hospitality is the norm at this hotel

Terrible experience at checkout and at checkout, lack of courtesy is the norm of the hotel, bad odor at the room, very small room, and above all big stairs to reach reception desk. I selected this hotel using the criteria os number os stars that in the web is 3 stars, but in reality it can be classified as 1/2 star hotel! I will not return to this hotel never more.

Half the staff is very personable the rest aren’t. This hotel is perfect for those staying 2 to 3 days if you’re staying any longer than three days I wouldn’t recommend. the beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable, having to walk up and down those steps for two weeks was very annoying those are my only two complaints about this hotel

Breakfast was good with a variety of pastries, meat and cheeses. Room is cleaned daily. Location, location, location!!! Some of the things I was not to satisfied about are: some parts of the room like the lamps need to be dusted well, the noise from outside very early in the morning until late hours, and the drunk man that is at the entrance of the hotel almost every night. I know the latter two are beyond the hotel’s control. That’s why overall, I gave it 4 stars.

Walkable to the Trenini, clean, quiet room and clean bathroom, nice continental breakfast. Room had TV, blow dryer, spacious compared to many. Very pleasant hosts, eager to help. Typical European decor, fabric covered walls, clean Italian tile floors. Lots of stairs, so call ahead if you need help with baggage. July 2019 trip to Rome

My teenage sons and I had a great stay at this hotel. Don't be put off by the peeling paint on the external walls, as it does look as though it needs some external decoration. However, inside it is well decorated, clean and pleasant.

The staff are really friendly, helpful, and will make recommendations for restaurants etc, including booking tables on your behalf.

We had a three bed room (a twin and bed settee) which was fine. The size was good and the room was clean and tidy. It could have done with tea making facilities because after a hot day walking around Rome, you need a drink!

The hotel location is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the main railway station, and about 20 minutes to the Colloseum and the city centre sights. Its also good for buses across to the Vatican (1.5 Euro) per person.

We had an excellent stay and would use this hotel again.

Hotel Lirico is a unique hotel with classy, traditional rooms. The decor makes you really feel like you are in Italy. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including aircon, which was greatly received after walking around the 40 degrees heat all day.

We had a continental breakfast each morning, which was reasonably small but very tasty.

The staff were kind, polite and very helpful.

The hotel is located in a good area, reasonably close to Termini station, and not far from the Trevi fountain and surrounding areas.

Hotel Lirico was a very convenient location to walk most of Rome and have close access to the local train station. The room was small and very dark, and the bed was quite hard. They served a nice breakfast in the morning in their dining room with offerings of fresh cappuccinos and cafes. There was a younger man who worked the front desk in the evening hours, I wish we would have gotten his name. He was so extremely helpful, booking dinner reservations and also organizing our next days travel with us. His easy demeanor was so helpful!

A very good hotel for the price. The room was comfortable, warm and quiet and serviced well everyday. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. It is in a handy location for major sites and transport as well as many local restaurants. A couple of little things, the wifi did drop in and out, although there is plenty to eat the range offered at breakfast could be better and sometimes you had to wait for 10mins or so for hot water at busy times.

Hotel is ideally located. Next to trains and walkable distance to all main attractions. Space is a little dated but comfortable overall after a day out. I mean when in Rome why stay indoors!

On the plus side, the Hotel Lirico is an easy walk from Roma Termini train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. A pretty decent breakfast was included. On the down side, you are greeted with a large flight of stairs when you walk in - no elevator for the luggage. The room took European smallness to a new level - it was very tiny. It was difficult to control the shower temperature.

Convenient location to the hop on hop off bus which we used to see all the sites. Friendly and accommodating staff who gave helpful advice on places to eat and see. Kindly stored our luggage on our arrival and departure day so we could site see prior to check in and after checkout. Thank you!!!!

Excellent Hotel, great location & value for money

My wife and I stayed at the Lirico hotel between 20th to 24th Sept 2018. We stayed in double en-suite room on the 3rd floor and found the facilities to be good and our room to be very clean. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying there.

Hotel in center of town. Easy access to sightseein

A small boutique style hotel

I enjoyed my time at Lirico. The rooms are small but adequate. The location great and was quiet. Fantastic grocery store across the road but you have no fridge or kettle in the room. My room was very clean. The only negative is the cool welcome and particuarly 1 gentlemen behind the desk should realize that being front of house he needs to find his smile.

Great experience! They kept our luggages for few days while we go to Venice and again when we went for a 7 day cruise.
Their breakfast was also very good.
Their staff were really nice and helpful.
Would stay in this hotel again in the future.
Only issue is their elevator can only accommodate 2-3 people at a time. :(
