I had a wonderful experience staying at Al Viminale. This place was close to Rome Termini, about 10 mins away. Also super close to all other attractions. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. Could even drop off my language at the hotel before the check in time. The room was cleaned every day. It was a great location, across from the Opera Theatre, so it was a less busy street. Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and collision were short walks away. Great restaurant just below our hotel, the Matriciana. We had breakfast at Luna cafe, a short walk away. It was great. The room was comfortable but the shower was a bit small but ok.

The hotel was beautiful, and the room was one of the best we stayed up during our whole time. However, we had upgraded to a class at your place yet the shower did not have hot water. When we had a discovered this, all of the staff had already went home in the evening and there was no one to come check it out. In the morning when they arrived, they determined that there was in fact something wrong with the water, but we were not able to take a shower because it did not work. Also, the Internet quit working in the evening and we did not have a way for someone to take a look at that either. The room is beautiful and isn’t a great location, however, was very disappointed we were not able to take showers. When the hotel was aware that this was their fault, they did not offer any compensation for either.

Amazing location! So close to the train station, walkable to a number of sites and to a number of Tour stops (recommend Big Bus Tours). It's like your own little apartment, there werent always staff and no lobby, but you could come and go as you pleased and it was just lovely. Also checl out OperArt up just steps away for an amazing meal or Nerone! Both great dining options within steps. Cannot recommend enough!!!

This hotel is across the street from an Opera Theater, and while we were unable to tour due to a show that evening you can sign up for tours. There is not much traffic so it is a bit more quiet. We were late checking in and the host was very understanding and helpful during our stay. The room, while not large had good storage space for our clothing. We liked the location a lot.

This was probably my favorite hotel we stayed in. The staff were incredible more than accommodating. They reached out before we arrived asking when we anticipated arriving and I gave them a time much later than we actually arrived and when we got there our room was not ready bc the time I told them was later in the day… not a problem they said give them an hour and the room will be ready so we left out luggage and went and explored for a little bit we were not gone even 45 min when we got the notice our room was ready. Top notch service. The gentleman who checked us in also gave us a map with different attractions to check out and whether they were walkable or not. The location of this hotel was great as well.. near (walkable) to big attraction, trevi fountain, colosseum, Spanish steps.. and others such as the Vatican and bourgeois garden are just a short metro ride away. Lots of yummy restaurants located all within walking distance as well. The room was also clean, bed comfortable which found not to be the case at any of our other hotels, and the shower was very nice. Would highly recommend this hotel. Felt very safe.

Perfect stay in a great area of Rome, far enough away from the train station to be in a safe, clean and restaurant area, but clise enough to be convenient when arriving/leaving Rome. We loved the old fashioned lift, reminiscent of many old movies. The hosts were very helpful and always attentive. We were able to walk to the Colleseum about 15 mins. Good value for money.

Good communication from the property in advance, a very warm welcome from reception and a great location for exploring Rome. The rooms were a fair size and very clean. There was some noise from bars below but when in a City it’s to be expected and it wasn’t an issue for us (more of a benefit as it meant we could eat and drink very local to the hotel) There was a small communal area where we could make team and coffee which was nice. The only thing that would have made our stay more enjoyable would have been a small communal seating area (we’d booked 2 rooms and seating in bedrooms not really adequate) However, we’d definitely recommend this hotel and we hope to return in the future.

Al Viminale Hill Inn & Hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Roma Termini. It's fairly easy to find, and Francesco contacted me a couple of days before our arrival. After confirming we would be arriving after hours, he contacted me directly on WhatsApp with clear instructions on how to do self-check in for after-hours and then to check-in the next day during normal hours. He was also very helpful with giving us a local area map and answering any questions about directions and such.
The double room itself is a bit small. We had two large suitcases, so those eat up most of the side space in the room. The shower was our only issue, water pressure is a bit small and takes a while to warm up the water...They only had \"fan\" or \"heat\" options for winter months, so it did get quite warm in the room, and the a/c system won't work if the window is open.

When we got there as the single person I was led to the ‘single room’, which was a double bed, but was actually a pull out sofa bed. The shower head was also not operating. To the credit of the hotel after the first night when I brought this up the immediately moved me to another room with a real bed and working shower.

We were sent a detailed video on how to check-in outside of their office hours. We had trouble finding the keycard but we called on WhatsApp and it turned out we were looking in the wrong spot - our mistake! Thank you to the staff for answering and being friendly. All the amenities worked great: cold AC, TV with lots of channels, mini-fridge, safe, and a small kitchen with complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies just outside our door.

We had a wonderful stay at Ai Vinimale inn. We couldn’t make it in time for the from 8:00am to 4:00pm check in time, so Daniele (who works at the front desk) reached out to us and sent us a video to explain how we could check in without any front line staff need.

The video they sent showing how to get In has to be Listened to but I keep volume off in public so was reading the Italian title which I thought said go to the 6th floor but It said go to the 3rd floor, room 6. It took a long time to figure out. And no one answered the 1 of 3 phone numbers that was mentioned to contact. They should change the title of the English video to English especially for hard of hearing or deaf people.
