I’ve stayed multiple times at this hotel over a period of 10 years. Rooms are clean and reception staff are helpful. Hotel is also in an excellent location with good Metro transport links. The main sights are also accessible on foot from this locale. Breakfast is also pretty good. Overall great value for the price point.

Overall the whole stay, the staff service, clean room and breakfast, were excellent. My wife broke her foot and had to go to the hospital, and the staff guided us to the near by emergency room for the treatment. We would like to than all of the staffs for kind hospitality.

This is a well located hotel for central attractions. But the street is busy is cars and people in a bar nearby. We also had a lot of children running up and down the corridors, knocking on doors. We stayed in another hotel around the corner during our week in Prague that was a lot quieter than this.

A great property. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi was good and rooms clean and quiet. Lifts available or stairs. Breakfast was always refreshed even close to the end time and a good variety provided. Within a 5 minute walk you can be on trams or the metro. Lots of bars and restaurants within just a few minutes walk. Everywhere feels safe to walk even at night. Would definitely return.

Great location! My only tiny complaint is that the room got pretty hot at night if we didn’t have the windows open (it was a high of 60F or so during the day). I’d definitely stay here again but probably not in the summer without AC! Staff was great, breakfast was extensive, and very easy to walk to all the tourist sites.

Breakfast was good. The bathroom was spacious with a nice sized shower as was the room. The wardrobe was pathetic. I had to get on my knees to hang my clothes as the rail was so low down. The window in the room was ridiculously small and the noise from the patio area was annoying as people were shouting and talking most of the time. We had to shut the window for some peace and quiet and put some rattling old fan on to keep cool. I visit Prague a lot and definitely won’t be coming back to this hotel. What is the point of having VIP privileges if you never get offered them? We couldn’t even check in early or keep the room a little longer as our return flight was later than our check out time. What annoys me also is Expedia read these reviews but never do anything about it 😡

There are also nearby restaurants and shopping boutiques by the hotel. The garden in the back is so beautiful and the breakfast was so delicious. This hotel is excellent value for money, clean, comfortable and in a good location. However the hotel lets itself down when it comes to recognition for returning guests. I stayed in this hotel twice in 2024 and many times over the years but the hotel displays no interest or awareness in this. In other hotels my repeated custom is acknowledged by at the least a very warm welcome and sometimes a bottle of wine or an upgrade. Not here. Disappointing as it would be easy to flag returning guests. When I mentioned to reception that I had visited recently it was met by a shoulder shrug and some BS about a new computer system. This is the same disingenuous response I got 6 months ago. Hotel Pav, please do better and make your guests feel valued.

An absolutely perfect first visit to Prague. Hotel Pav exceeded our expectations and the staff were all wonderful. Reception staff were knowledgeable and so friendly/helpful, the breakfast staff efficient and keen to please plus the domestic staff who replaced our towels every day and with whom we shared laughs trying to learn a few Czech words! The room was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable and the shower fabulous. We will definitely be returning to Prague but most importantly, Hotel Pav. Thank you to everyone 💖

Property is conveniently located a short walk from the metro station Narodni Trida. It's also a short walk from the center of Prague which includes Wenceslas Square. My hotel room was warm, comfortable and absolutely spotless. In particular, the cleanliness of the bathroom and shower was outstanding. Staff on front desk are also friendly and helpful. I've stayed at the hotel before and was very pleased to return. Top marks to all.

Hotel Pav review good & bad

You're space heater don't work too well. Breakfast good but your lift to get downstairs is too cold to get into without a jacket. Who wears a jacket or coat when leaving your room to go to breakfast? That should all be indoors. Also you should NOT charge for (still) water if it comes from the tap. If it's free for you, it should be free for us. I declined it because I'm not going to pay money for free water.

Good hotel but Bad Customer Service

The breakfast buffet was amazing and the hotel was in a good location and the amenities were really good. However, Milan in the front desk was really rude and rolled his eyes after I have asked him a question. Him rolling his eyes was really uncalled for and ruined our day. The customer service in the front desk was overall unpleasant with other employees too.

However the room is absolutely boiling, especially the bathroom.

Certain staff members were fairly rude and unwelcoming.

The hotel is very stingy, I had to pay for a glass of hot water for my lemsip from the bar that is only open a few days a week, if you want a kettle and tea in your room they will charge you €5 a day.

Please note that this hotel does not have laundry like it states.

This hotel is in a very nice area, easily walkable to/from many of the important areas in central Prague. Unfortunately the rooms do not have aircon- and whilst it's hardly their fault, a single plug-in fan in the room cant do much to hold off a 35 degree heatwave. So i would strongly avoid staying here in the summer months. Breakfast was fine, beds were comfy & as mentioned, the location is very positive.

Poor room. We were located downstairs and it was incredible dark and noisy. You would not expect room without air conditioner. We were unable to leave window open as this was on the ground floor and people could see our room from outside. Daily room service didn't exist. We only had towels changed and I question cleanness of them. I had stayed in 3* hotels and this was more like 1*. Brakefast... Not a lot of choices and food menu poor and low quality. Brakefast service, very arrogant staff, don't bother to ask for anything. Receptionist/s staff were nice, and helpful to us. And also a gentleman who was looking after guest in the afternoon garden was really kind.
Location of the hotel was fantastic next to really famous pub which was next door and 2 min to dancing building.

Noisy at night when trying to sleep - many people partying on the streets. No air conditioning or ceiling fans. Had to keep the window open.
The tub was very high and I had great difficulty getting in the tub to shower. No grab bars.
On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent!!!

Walking distance to everything . I suggest get an app MAPS.ME , it will navigate you to wherever you go without the use of wifi .The hotel is very nice , it gets cleaned everyday with fresh towels . It is across minimart , on the side of the hotel another minimart and plenty of restaurants.
Breakfast is really good .
My only issue is the first two nights I was asking for ice , no problem . The third night they wanted to charge me 20 czk for a glass of ice . You can buy a 50 pint beer for 23czk in the nearby grocery store .
I guess the ice is not owned by the hotel , it is owned by the bar that’s inside the lobby . The hotel doesn’t have ice , you have to buy it in the lobby for 20 czk for a glass of ice .

Property is conveniently located for visiting all attractions. The breakfast has a good enough selection but food at other times is limited. Pleasent staff who helped whenever needed. Couple of minor gripes is that shower temp was cold sometimes and although it advertises tv the is only 1english channel - the bbc news. That said if your visiting a country it’s not for the tv but it would be nice to watch something when resting.

Good location, within walking distance of everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good although continental was a bit random, veg and salad and soups!!! Maybe europeans eat that for breakfast. Room was clean and functional good value for money. Only thing missing was a kettle to make tea. I had to pay 5 euros per night and it didn’t even come with milk pods !! Overall worth the money.

The hotel was in a really good area.
Breakfast was OK, there was a good variety of food and it was for free.
The room was disappointing, it was dark and smelt horrible. The bathroom smelt awful too and was filthy upon arrival (was cleaned next day with room service). I ordered wine for the room as a surprise as we were celebrating my partners birthday, this was warm and glasses were filthy.
The hotel staff were incredibly rude, especially the overnight reception man who checked us in - no hello or welcome.
Overall really disappointed, was made to feel very unwelcome and would not come back.
