Poor service from start, I booked and paid online at Pearle Beach but on arrival was informed it was fully booked and they placed me next door in a budget accommodation. Not what I paid for or expecting. Will not go back for risk of occurring again

It's an older hotel that needs a renovation, although the room was very clean and tidy every day. Hotel offers a good variety of continental and exotic dishes to choose from. It would be good they provide water/tea as complimentary during dinner time. Staff was absolutely great, polite and heplful.

The AC did not work, and we sweated in the room with humid heat. I asked three times in the middle of the night for a new room and was told there were no rooms each time. In my pajamas, I finally went to the lobby front desk and threatened to spend the night on the lobby couch. Finally, they gave me another room next door. However, they were too lazy to move the roll away into the new room, so there was not enough room on one bed for the three of us. So, I continued to sweat in the first room.

We bought the all-inclusive package. The food was awful, and the drinks were very limited.

Good location with beach and pool

Good location on Flic en Flac, with private beach area and nice pool. Within walking distance of local restuarants offering differing cuisines. Room and hotel outdated but clean. Had issue with aircon leaking, fixed on the second go. Friendly staff although sometimes needed asking a few times when needed help. Nice breakfast.

Excellent stay as single traveller. Staff very helpful but not intrusive, with any requests fully and quickly met - with a real feeling that everyone cared about you having a good time. All facilities immaculately maintained. Beach front location and excellent sunsets. Restaurants and bars available in Flic en Flac but lots of good dining options in the hotel.

We were given a room where the air conditioner leaked and woke to find the floor soaked. The shower head fell on my head whilst showering and we were told we had to pay for the day use after explaining to the resort this had been paid for as part of our package but they argued that it hadn't. Overall, very disappointed in the resort.

I booked a standard room I now know they call basic for 5 nights and paid £130 a night
When I arrived they said they my room
Was in the block on the road side because my room was standard/ basic.
The entrance of the block smelt of drainage Like a sewer / toilet . The traffic started At 6am until 6pm I could hear the road traffic constantly. I complained and wanted a refund so I could book another hotel after travelling 11 hours from Uk and paying £130 I was expecting a lovely room and beach like in the pictures. Please note The beach has been photo shopped to look like it’s a white long beach but it’s very short and is slanted like on a hill and it’s uncomfortable to lay down. It has corals and stones . The whole of flic en flic beach has corals stones and seaweed unless you have a 5 star hotel then the beach is better looked after. This hotel is out dated with old brown wood And Very over priced . Not worth the money . Do not waste your holiday or Honeymoon going there . The staff are not helpful at all .A drainage toilet smell would come on at night into the room i called the night staff and they agreed it smelt bad and moved me to another room. In the morning I saw the manager Dave and explained to him
About the road noise and bad smell. The night staff who smelt the room was to scared of him and lied that it didn’t smell. I booked 5 nights but only stayed for 3 and left so I lost my
Money . Please read others reviews on here . Don’t be fooled by the pictures.

We loved our stay. All staff are very friendly and professional. We did not have any issues. We rented a car from the hotel which was very convenient with a reasonable price.

The best part of our stay was the chef Mr. Alain Huet. It was a true honor meeting him as he was exceptional in all things he did. He was very caring, meticulous, and respectful. We have only met very few people in our life with similar qualities.

Mr. Pradeep and Mr. Kam were very welcoming and helpful at several occasions. We would like to thank all staff for their professional assistance.

Things to improve: Daily water bottles. Free room dining service. Giving two access cards for each room. Having coffee available all the time (coffee machine and black coffee).

The check in clearly says noon on Orbitz but they insisted it was at 2 pm and had me wait out the two hours before giving me a room. If you’re ok with traveling 12 hours to Mauritius to have to wait two extra hours for a room, this may be the hotel for you.

The open buffet food was nothing to write home about either.

Don’t go here for holiday, not for business either. Unless you have kids who want to invade the swimming pool or if it’s ok for you that they run out of food in the middle of the serving. The beach is super narrow and has a steep slop down to the sea. If you try to enjoy the sun beds on the beach, you are gliding out of it because of the slope.
But it’s not so far from the bus station, so you can go somewhere else.

Everything is wrong with this resort
1. Booked for 9 days due to flight postponement changed dates but for no refund for 2 days though whole resort literally empty

2. Was given a worst room and had to pay mu1200 per person per night to upgrade to get a sea facing view

3. For extra payment got nothing other than fruit platter

4. Broken locks , no hot water , broken toilets

5. All 7 days same breakfast very poor quality , birds and insects

6. Five star charges not even one star facility

7, resort is keen to make money whether customer is provided service or not

8. Poor quality WiFi lack of good speed

The hotel is not worth 3 star rating. I would give them 2 star the max. The room was old and dated. The furniture was broken. The TV was in a seperate small room and barely worked. The towels had \"specific smell\" . The bathroom was filthy . If you only look for a bed to sleep at night. This is fine. If you want to enjoy and pamper yourself. This is not the one.

Beautiful, well maintained beach. I could have spent the whole day just lying on a sun lounge under a thatched umbrella gazing out at the ocean and relaxing - and that's exactly what I did! Excellent service and friendly, helpful staff were also great.

The hotel caters to regular large Italian tour groups who get all the good rooms. Mine had a view of the back of the kitchen and the deliveries area and was not what I reserved. The room was infested with mosquitos the whole stay. The staff (with one exception) and the manager are excellent. And it is right on the beach.

The hotel is cute and has nice amenities for their guests. The breakfast and included water activities were great! However, the staff was not accommodating when I added a guest to my room. My room rate more than doubled for simply having another person stay with me in one bed for only one night.

Short Stay at Pearle Beach

The greatest plus of the hotel is its location by the beach. Apart from that it is a very basic hotel. I got great room rates as it was off peak period. However, everything else in the hotel is overpriced. Had dinner one evening and did the buffet. It was a simple buffet that went for a whopping USD40. The spa is extremely overpriced as well with acceptable service. Service staff are mixed. A few really good ones, but some of the staff just didn't know what they are doing. I don't think they even realise they are in a service industry. Rooms are basic. I have to say the toilets are very nice is contrast to the room itself. There is a stench along the corridors all the time for some reason.

Mixed feelings about this hotel

The people of the Mauritius island are wonderful, the staff at the Pearle beach resort were wonderful as well. The food was good and with varieties, even one of the chefs is Italian. The entertainment program in the hotel was great with a group of three Italian tourist guides trying to make everyone involved and happy.
Two negatives about the hotel:
1. The false advertisement of what they considered an \"ocean view\" was really annoying, if you have booked an ocean view room, prepare to be told that you need to walk 20 meters outside your room to see the ocean, while there are clearly, second flood rooms, that overlooked the ocean
2. Plenty of cockroaches, even inside the room.

Good view of the pool and ocean with our other room overlooking the garden and pool. Both great rooms and view. Great food with excellent variety and very fresh. Nice size room with good aircon. The cleaning lady named Baby was bright and cheerful every morning and did a fantastic job cleaning and making the experience a joyful one. The Wi-Fi was strongest at the reception and pool area. In room the wifi was good in one but lacked in another. Great activities during the day. The hotel offers a free 40-minute snorkelling trip on a glass bottom boat which was a pleasant surprise with an abundance of fish and coral. The pool table needs updating as it lacked a full set of balls as well as a catchment for the pocketed balls. The hotel also offers other water activities such as kayaks and more. Beach was beautiful to look at but would recommend to bring reef shoes as the shards of coral defiantly tickles. However, if you forget your water shoes I am sure Kevin will be there to happily sell you a pair! The hotel is quite small which makes the experience a lot more personal and the staff try to accommodate to your needs as much as possible. The activity staff were great with a special mention to the singers, Kenny and his team. The activity staff defiantly put on a great NYE party.

Excellent location on beach

Excellent location on beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness excellent. We stayed on a B&B package. Only negative thing to say is that if you decide to eat and drink at hotel it is expensive which is a shame. If they brought the prices down more guests would stay and use the services, they are losing out. Like a lot of others we ate out at local restaurants and cafes. Would highly recommend hotel.

The Hotel was on the beach front with amenities within walking distance.The resort had good spa facilities, very satisfied with massage. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good selection of choice for breakfast. The Management team kindly allowed a late checkout because we had a late departure.

We stayed at the Pearle Beach Hotel on a Half Board basis for two weeks. Our Standard Room – very different from what you see in the official hotel photos – was broadly ok, though the minibar fridge was so noisy that we had it disconnected and, worse still, the room had an intercommunicating door! However, the major problem is that, unlike all other room types, which are located around the swimming pool and the garden areas, standard rooms are in a separate building at the back of the hotel. They face either the noisy coastal road or, like ours, a small road which is incessantly used by all sorts of service vehicles – e.g., rubbish collection, waste water collection, food deliveries, taxis, coaches, staff transport, etc. – and this makes it very hard to sleep after 5:30am. For the first four days we pleaded in vain for a change of room but detected no willingness to help as every time we were reminded that we had booked a standard room. Our insistence was then met with the explanation that only other standard rooms were available but the ‘reassurance’ that “if a better room becomes available, we will let you know” gave their true intentions away. This was very disappointing since, immediately after booking – about three full weeks before our arrival – we contacted the hotel to specifically ask that our room be away from road noise. If Standard Rooms cannot provide quiet, it would have been appropriate for the hotel to say it then. This spoiled it for us.

we have 3 of us in this trip & we have booked a seaview room for 2 due to can't find a room for 3 in expedia website. We have been charged EUR65 per night& total EUR130 (after discount, at first they request EUR80 per night) for the extra person when we checked in.

when we go in to the room, that receptionist call Jessica who bring us in told us no seaview room available in the first night, will only can get to seaview room in the second night.

Why she only told us in this when we go to the room but not in the counter when the time I paid for the extra charge?

And we only get a free massage half & hour for each of us. Jessica told us this is what can she offer for us & can't get the refund.

REALLY FEEL LIKE HAS BEEN CHEATED.

I thoroughly enjoyed the 9 days I spent at La Perle. Staff very friendly and prompt with service. The spa treatments were reasonable and well executed. I felt very safe walking around the neighbourhood on my own. Super little shops with great variety of souvenirs and local quality goods.

Pleasant enough but room for improvement

This was a pleasant stay on a beautiful beach. We had half-board, but after 5 days the buffet meals had a sameness about them, despite the varied 'themes'. The hot meals were only ever luke-warm. If you're happy with a 15-20 minute walk, it would be preferable to try the many restaurants up the road.
The evening entertainment was enjoyable, but way too loud. Free Wifi was only available in the lobby, but often inaccessible if more than a few people were trying to use it.

Lovely hotel, beautiful location, poor food

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, right on the beach, pool, sea views, and the setting didn't disappoint. The hotel is lovely, beach beautifully sandy and sea like a warm bath. We made use of the free waterfront activities, a lovely bonus. Flic en Flac is a nice small town with amenities you need, a great area to visit.

The hotel location, the beach, the view and specially the staff were just great. the food was good too.. main issue was the activities for us, advertised lots but non were there except a badminton table, snorkling you would have needed your own equipment. The staff were over worked and the tables at times were not prepared due to lack of personal to tend tables, we would have to wait and at times ask someone to make a table for us for dinner or breakfast.

Pictures Deceiving

While the location is gorgeous, the website pictures and descriptions are a bit deceiving. Ants and cockroaches in the room, beds are hard and uncomfortable, and food is decent but nothing like the pictures shown. We took a boat out to swim with dolphins (which there were few) and one engine broke down 10 minutes into the trip. No other boat was sent out and the guides tried to pretend we were going slow intentionally. It took over an 1 1/2 hrs to get back, when the other boat from our resort got back in 30 minutes. No compensation or apology was offered. Snorkeling gear was in poor condition and you can only rent it for free if you go on an organized trip with the hotel (not a detail included on the web). Also can't waterski unless 6 people go. Drinks (including non-alcoholic) are not included in the all-inclusive package.. not even water. We enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed by several things.

Found the hotel very well organized and kept very clean .The staff were courteous and helpful on arrival, as indeed for all the stay . Everything was done with a big smile and they had, what many other hotels don't have ... they could share a joke and have a little banter with you , whilst at the same time respecting you as a guest .

Think Twice before settling for this hotel !!!!

Let me start by saying that this is not nor will it ever reach 4 star staus...
I am reluctant to even call it a 3 star hotel as they at least provide cleanliness.
The room was disgusting. Mattress all torn split worn out but even worse covered in heavy urine stains.
We had an infestation of ants which were reported 4 times and the best they could do was silicone up holes????
They got into our suitcases clothes and sheets. they swarmed over cups etc. Then there were the cockroaches. wow!! pretty big even by american standards. the only saving grace on this holiday was the location and the island . some of the hotel staff were lovely and friendly and in my opinion a young lady in the cleaning dept should have been the manager as she provided so much help and information. The food while digestable was boring predictable and repetitious being buffet every night. kept in large steel tubs with lids and heated from below, everything was overcooked and soggy. DInternet is charged at 150 rupees for 30 mins and the hotel was out to overcharge for anything they could.. Pay the bit more and stay elsewhere.

Wir hatten ein schönes, frisch renoviertes Zimmer, mit Aussicht auf Garten und Meer. Das Essen ist auf jeden Fall nicht den Preis wert. Beim Frühstück hat es in 12 Tagen keinerlei Variation gegeben, manche Speisen wurden nur auf Nachfrage nach gelegt. Das Abendessen war auch im Prinzip immer gleich, der Unterschied lag nur in den Soßen vorin das Fleisch oder der Fisch gegart wurde. Auch ärgerlich war, das wir bei der Abreise für Getränke zahlen sollten, trotz AI. Man muß an der Bar oder im Restaurant die Getränke quittieren, wenn man nicht aufpasst stehen dann Beträge auf der Quittung. Das Personal ist zu 85% sehr feundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren das zweite und letzte mal im Pearle Beach, Das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss passt nicht.

Das Hotel wurde nach Renovierung zum 01. Oktober 2025 wieder eröffnet. Die ganze Anlage wurde aufwendig saniert. In unserem Zimmer waren die Möbel, Bett, Matratze komplett neu auch im Bad und WC war alles erneuert. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir waren rundum begeistert.

Cet hotel est une arnaque: des photos de reve... mais en realite une chambre avec des meubles qui tombent en ruine, des prises qui ne fonctionnent pas, une climatisation qui fait un bruit monstre.

Les machines de la salle de sport ont 20 ans et sont dans un piteux etat.

Cet hotel aurait bien besoin dun rafraichissement!

Tres cher pour ce que c'est.
On vous propose un sauna de 15min... si seulement il etait chaud!

Les animations du soir sont sympa mais le prix du buffet est cher pour le choix et la qualite...

Bref un sentiment de m'etre fait avoir par les photos 😪

The staff made it be a very pleasent staying!

In the end, we can say that our stay was very pleasant, even though the first contact with our accommodation disappointed us a lot! The budget rooms are in another building, what is not clear when booking, with conditions that leave a lot to be desired... very bad smell and in need of a thorough and urgent renovation! Fortunately, in the last few days they moved us to the main building, in a very nice renovated room!
Despite this, all the staff, without exception, were always incredibly friendly and available, making us feel very welcome.

Kelpo perushotelli, all inclusive toimi hyvin, aterioilla runsas mutta yksitoikkoinen tarjonta. Lounaalla ja päivällisellä kuta kuinkin samat ateriat. Aamupalalla ei kasviksia tarjolla. Huone oli hiljainen ja sänky hyvä. Hotellin ympärillä ei juuri mitään, muutama turistimyymälä. Kävelyetäisyydellä jokunen ravintola. Henkilökunta ystävällistä.

Nous avons dû attendre presque une heure pour avoir notre chambre
Nous avons demandé une chambre avec deux lits ce qui a été fait dès le lendemain sans que nous ayons à changer de chambre ils ont changé carrément les matelas
Personnel très aimable et à la moindre écoute de nos besoins

Gutes Preis/ Leistung Hotel direkt am Meer

Es war ein kurzer aber guter Aufenthalt. Schöne kleine Anlage wo es an nichts fehlt. Die Leute an der Reception arbeiten und laufen seeeeeeehr langsam. Die kleinen Ameisen im ganzen Zimmer nervten und der eine Woche dauernde Durchfall war sehr mühsam

Beau séjour

Très beau séjour dans cet hôtel en chambre supérieur vue sur mer. La championne est magnifique et la propreté est au rdv. Le personnage est également très attentif aux besoin des clients.
