The Dinarobin was the most beautiful stunning hotel that I have ever stayed in.
The setting is absolutely stunning the room’s spacious and the staff keep them really clean.
The dining options are great catered for all tastes.
The staff at Dinarobin can not do enough for you they go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one they are so polite and courteous.

We had a wonderful stay at Dinarobin. The location is simply amazing with the Morne mountain behind, the beach is just magic. Regarding the food, breakfast buffet is great, the various restaurants are all good, special note for Umami (Asian fusion) which is amazing.
The staff is so nice.
I can only recommend this place

The hotel itself is very nice along a stretch of beach, fantastic view of Le Morne and magnificent sunsets. The breakfast buffet was good with a large selection of continental food items and fresh fruit and juices, and the service in the restaurant was courteous and pleasant. Each block of rooms has a heated pool (in addition to the large main pool which is not heated), which was nice in the cooler winter months. The beach looks nice but watershoes are a MUST.

Unfortunately the golf course was undergoing some sort of renovation during our stay in addition to the neighboring Paradis resort, but the concierge was able to make tee times at other nearby courses.

Our stay was pleasant. Great place for families or couples. Would stay here again once the golf course reopens.

We love Dinarobin the most. We’ve been upgraded to the top floor, the ceiling is high, decorations are amazing. Staff members are amazing, and they made our stay really unforgettable. We were on the honeymoon package which received free lunch on top of our half board and a free bottle of wine in the room when we checked in. Great location by the le morne and brilliant view!

Great location and nice property overall with small pools, lots of trees making it very cosy and not giving the feeling of a big property (it is pretty big) - unlike some other properties in Le Morne.
Quality of the service very inconsistent and overall below expectations (some staff members were exceptional but overall not to the level of a proper 5 star).
While the views are really awesome, take shoes to walk on Le Morne beach as it is full of corals and shells!

Our family (3 adults, 4 kids) had a fantastic time at DR. Extremely friendly and helpful (sickness, lost essentials in plane, laptop issues, etc).
Our 6 years old couldn't wait to go to the Kid's club everyday, in great part thanks to Delphine & Anne-Sophie kindness and dedication. John, a shuttle driver, was also so friendly that she made and gave him a necklace made of seashells.
Morning and dinner buffet were great. Plentiful and always changing menus, yummy pastries, very convenient.
Plenty of physical activities to do on site thanks to the sport center, connection w the neighboring Paradis hotels which hosts the Nautical center, Dive center, etc.
Absolutely gorgeous landscape in and around the property.
Loved that these resorts are Mauritius owned, unlike big name WW hotels.

Fantastic hotel facing the Ocean

Very nice hotel located on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Extremely quiet, outstanding reception/pool area, great golf amenities and green... All rooms had a large outdoor/terrace sitting area. The Spa at Dinarobin is THE most beautiful and largest Spa centre we have ever seen. Massages and treatment are extremely professional. The only downside (to some people it may be a benefit actually): the Dinarobin is next door to its twin brother Le Paradis (which is huge by the way and more family oriented) - so basically people from both hotels can use the facilities of the other hotel, including restaurants, resulting in overbooking when you want to reserve at a restaurant or at the boat house...

Our experience was the best one we have in a lot of travel, hotel staff, service, food, beach, everything was just amazing, for us its very important because was our honeymoon, and get surprice with a lot of things on our stay. The Dinarobin is a gorgeous hotel. The beach out front is very pretty, but you have to walk towards the Paradis, the sister hotel next door, for better swimming without rocks. The water sports and busier family vibe next door at the Paradis were a welcome change from the complete peace and tranquility at the Dinarobin. The staff were wonderful. The food was AMAZING. We did, however, feel a little trapped as you have no other options except to eat at the hotel and it is quite expensive. There are no casual dinner options which would have been nice for a change of pace.

Wonderful location, lacking evening things to do

The hotel and facilities were lovely.
It was out of season, but warm & relaxed. The sea was lovely and clear and warm enough for swimming. The beach was lovely and clean, though it should be noted that it is quite gritty & has sizeable chunks of coral and rocky outcrops that make walking barefoot a challenge. Suitable footware is recommended.
On occasions when the wind was blowing, the pools are protected enough to be used without problem and are close to the accommodation.
The service was good, but the habit of waiters clearing a plate away before everyone at the table has finished a little annoying. Perhaps that's just a British or personal thing?
The resort has one bar (Mahogany), which is lovely & has evening entertainment in the form of a band playing popular covers. I found this to be quite funny, then annoying as it was the same each night. On occasion they played a number in their native language & I found these came across much better. One evening in the bar we were asked every 5 mins if we were ok or needed anything. Only twice were we given bar snacks and for one of these, we had to ask.

Summer sun is more guaranteed on the south side of Mauritius and in this regard Paradis and the Dinarobin are both excellent choices noting the Dinarobin being more up market and certainly better dining .....There is golf on site and complimentary for both hotels and this will not disappoint. There is a good gym and tennis facilities and if this wasn't enough one of the world's best kite surfing beach is very close . All in all a great choice...

Nice hotel but beach almost unnegotiable barefoot

Not sure if hotel or Expedia to blame but travelled as a family with a 12 and 14 year old girls. Given a single junior suite without it being our request and so assumed this was the norm. Very comfortable but spent the entire stay being asked if we had 2 room numbers accompanied by raised eyebrows when told we did not to the point of extreme annoyance.
Had cosmetics and one of my daughter's dresses go missing from the room!
Beach almost unnegotiable due to sharp coral shards in sand.
Opted for half board but constantly had to ask for the correct menu and correct the bill at the end of meals.
Stayed at the Saint Geraint last time and wished we had again.Soft white sand there.
Overall-disappointing.

We were very pleased with the hotel, room and facilities. I dont think its a true 5 star as some of the smaller details are missing and service can be a bit slow. Bit it certainly is a worthy 4 star.

Staff were pleasant and helpful just not so quick to serve you a drink in the bar sometimes. We made use of facilities at the ajacent Paradis hotel daily as the beach is more child friendly (no rocks or coral at beach) and this is where the watersports equipment is located. There is a free shuttle that is easy to make use of just a little inconvenient as it takes 15mins to transfer. The Dinarobin beach is beautiful and sunbeds are more spaced out compared to the paradis hotel, so if you are not interested in watersports or dont have children then there is no need to use the paradis beach provided you dont mind a windy beach - the paradis beach is much more sheltered. Wind chill is more of an issue in the winter months - i believe the wind would be welcome in the summer heat.

Very good hotel in a great location

Really very good value for money and meets 5* expectations. Junior suit is beautiful and spacious. Food is very good. Scenery and weather is outstanding (perhaps a little cold for some as we were there end of September). Be warned to book the restaurants before or on your arrival as they seem fully booked usually. For me the location is one of the best in the world, especially for kite-surfing / wind-surfing. It is really v.beautiful. For kitesurfers make sure you rent a car to get to the kite beaches as getting a taxi or a lift can be a bit of a hastle. Sometimes people on the kite beaches are not the friendliest.

Great terrotory, beautiful golf course, gorgeous pools.
The room was fool of ants that were hard to deal with. Not super clean eather.
The coctails were great at times but next day if you order the sane one, it would be completely different.
Food was great but so was the price for it.
Kids club is better for bigger children as they do not need to be encouraged to stay... The staff will not make an effort for your little one to stay without you.
Overall, I think you can find a better value hotel for a family stay.
Beach is not kids friendly - pretty rough.

Great beach and a lovely setting on the Le Morne Peninsula. Lovely pool and attractive restaurants and bar around the pool. Wi-fi worked well (I managed a Skype video call which in my experience only occurs in 50% of 4/5 star hotels around the world) Awesome Spa, the most beautiful I've seen yet! Anywhere. Only nags; room could have done with a coffee machine, perhaps ice too, and it was a little lacking in character. Restaurants need booking ahead (even when they're not full) and the buffet dinner at 40 GBP + drinks was not good value.

The Best Experience — They Made My 50th Unforgetta

I had an amazing experience at Dinarobin Beachcomber. From the welcome at the entrance, to the housekeeping team preparing the room at night, to every service in between all areas of the hotel deserve praise. The staff are kind, delicate, and always thoughtful, and I truly admire their commitment to sustainability.

The cuisine at Dinarobin is beyond words simply spectacular. For me, they are 1000 out of 10! They made my 50th celebration unforgettable.

Prime Location, Huge Hotel

It's a majestic hotel on a prime location with a private beach at Le Morne. The service level is of a high standard, eventhough we sometimes felt overserviced a bit. Staff is very friendly and attentive.
The infrastructure in the room is already a bit aged and could need some update.
The breakfast and dinner we had at the buffet was always very good and there was enough variety with several cooking stations to choose from.
One time we visited the beautiful, big main bar after dinner to listen to some live music (very good). Unfortunately the service we received there couldn't keep up with the high expectations/prices and was nowhere close to 5 stars. Nevertheless, our complaint was handled in a professional manner.
The thing that was the most unpleasant to us was the lots of buggy traffic on the premise when walking to the main restaurant. Sometimes, especially when dark after the dinner, that felt unsafe and disturbing.

Unfortunately, my stay in your hotel was a bit disappointing. Compared to other 5-star hotels, there are better ones for me. Especially compared to the Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Hotel, the Dinarobin does not live up to my expectations of the Beachcomber hotel chain. The atmosphere was kind of cold - I didn't really feel welcome. The food was average & some of the staff members made a rather less motivated, partly unfriendly impression. The resort is very big and well maintained, but I wish the quality would not suffer from the - in my eyes exaggerated - size of the hotel. The bedroom is big, the bathroom I think would not hurt a little renovation.

Mein Mann und ich waren mit unserer Tochter (22 Jahre) Anfang August 2022 im Dinarobin. Wir waren schon in vielen 5 Sterne Hotels auf der ganzen Welt, dieses hat uns bisher am besten gefallen. Die Anlage ist äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Angestellten an der Rezeption oder in den Restaurant äußerst zuvorkommend. Unsere Tochter hatte großen Spass an dem großen Sportangebort: sie war sehr viel auf den Tennisplätzen (mit Flutlicht) bzw. Wasserski, Paddeln, etc.. Mein Mann und ich genossen das warme Schwimmbad direkt unter dem Le Morne. Phantastisch!! Wir gehen selten zweimal in das gleiche Hotel, beim Dinarobin kommen wir garantiert wieder. \"See you soon, thanks for everything\"

Je recommande fortement : cadre idyllique

Que dire de cet établissement à part que du bien ! Cet hôtel est situé face à la mer, sable blanc, et face au Morne : cadre idyllique. Rien à redire.

Nous avons séjourné dans énormément d'hôtel dans le monde, et cet hôtel fait parti de notre top 5.
Notre séjour a été plus que parfait malgré le mauvais temps que nous avons eu, nous avons vécu un magnifique séjour : hôtel très propre, bien entretenu, nettoyage des chambres possible 2 fois par jour, tous les restaurants de cet établissement sont très bons (coup de coeur pour les restaurants Umami, la Ravanne et la Plage) et bien sûr tous les personnels ont tous été aux petits soins avec nous. Que ça soit le staff de l'hôtel ou le staff des restaurants.

Un grand merci à Jain et Paco (serveurs côté plage), Nathan du restaurant la plage, et bien sûr, le staff du restaurant Umami : Kailash, Pritam et le chef Singh (un des meilleurs restaurants que nous avons fait malgré tous les voyages que nous avons fait dans le monde)

Merci d'avoir rendu notre voyage inoubliable.

Difficile de trouver un seul défaut à cet hôtel. Tout semblait parfait : les chambres de tout confort, le site juste fabuleux, avec des piscines un peu partout pour le plus grand confort de tous les clients (personne n’est entassé), le personnel est adorable et d’une grande efficacité. Ajoutez à ça les différents restaurants où la cuisine est très bonne, l’accès à l’hôtel Paradis du même groupe pour doubler les services en plus de toutes les activités aquatiques (sans supplément), l’accès entre les deux hôtels peut se faire à pieds par la plage ou bien par les navettes qui circulent continuellement.
Aussi, la plage est très belle et le Morne se trouve tout juste derrière. Difficile de faire mieux comme vue depuis les piscines où depuis la baignade dans l’océan. Je conseille à 100%.

In general it’s a lot No without explanations or a sorry. A No is all okey of course, but in terms of service it can come across much more nicer than a plain direct “No doesn’t work”.

Die Hotel Anlage die Umgebung der Service war sehr toll. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und stehst höflich jeder hat immer freundlich gegrüsst. Das abendliche Buffet war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker, das Mittagessen war bei Halbpension ebenfalls inklusive und man konnte im Strand Restaurant zwischen ein paar leckeren Speisen auswählen.

Obwohl es an jedem Tag unseres Aufenthaltes geregnet und stark gewindet hat (volle 8 Tage), haben wir das Golfspiel sehr genossen - ein wunderschöner Golfplatz! Die ebenfalls sehr schöne Strand- / Schwimmanlagen konnten wir so fast nie nutzen. Sehr störend fanden wir, dass die Erwartung besteht, dass alles 2-3 Tage vorher reserviert werden soll. Wer seinen Urlaub nicht gerne verplant, sondern einen gewissen Grad an Spontanität liebt, wird dies nicht schätzen. Essen und vor allem das sehr gute Spa ist in Relation zu lokalen Preisen völlig überteuert (diese Preise wären selbst in der Schweiz am oberen Ende ...). WLAN stark verbesserungsbedürftig.

Fantastico albergo sotto la montagna di Le Morne al sud del isola! Posizione stupenda, servizio impeccabile, mangiare squisito. Nella bassa stagione è un posto di grandissimo relax. Con la mezza pensione c’è la possibilità di mangiare cena in diversi ristoranti, anche nel albergo sorella Paradis Beachcomber, posizionati sul mare con dei menù buonissimi da 5 stelle! Anche il golf è molto bello, c’è una palestra attrezzatissima e le piscine sono state ristrutturate e riscaldate. L’unica cosa da tenere in conto è che la struttura non è ancora stata completamente rinnovata. Però le camere sono in ottima condizione. Se si vuole camere nuove ci sono al Paradis Beachcomber. È stata una settimana da sogno!

2 jours d'exception dans notre voyage

L'accueil, la chambre avec une bouteille de vin d Afrique du Sud offerte, les activités nautiques accessibles au resort \"le paradis\" , les coraux très bien conservés à 100 m de la plage, tout était parfait ! Le tarif reste un peu élevé, mais c'est un endroit à découvrir pour 2 ou 3 jours !
