I’m so impressed with the staff at the Liberty Lake Best Western. I broke my ankle and have been using a wheelchair during our trip for Hoopfest. I originally tried to keep the same room for both nights, but they were sold out, so we had to switch rooms the next day.
Housekeeping went above and beyond by helping move our luggage and quickly bringing extra pillows and blankets so I could stay comfortable and keep my foot elevated while the boys played basketball. The hot breakfast and yogurt machine were also a big bonus and made mornings so easy and enjoyable.
Later, when I asked about a late checkout because the boys were doing so well, they were accommodating again and honored it due to my rewards status.
The kindness didn’t stop there. I accidentally left my wheelchair behind when I dropped the boys off at Hoopfest, and Nathan personally brought it out to me so I wouldn’t have to move on my injured leg.
I truly felt cared for the entire stay. The staff made everything smooth and stress-free, and their extra effort made a big difference for both me and the team.

The rates were very high due to Hoop Fest. The rooms are spacious but could use some updates and TLC. The mattress was overdue for a replacement and the box spring was disgusting. There was a cover meant to cover a large stain but it did not. Not sure what it was or if I want to know!
The front desk attendant at check in was very nice and explained things very well.

Room was very dirty and smelled. There were stains all over the walls and sheets. My toddler found a pill on the floor. Libby had visible dirt piles on the floor. The entire hotel smelled dirty. Would not recommend. Only stayed 1 night when we were booked for 2.

The lobby, hallways and rooms were not clean. There was garbage under the pullout couch when it was pulled out into a bed. All areas of carpeting in the hotel were visibly filthy. The tiles in other areas were filthy. The stairways were full of food and debris. We had to have our room key re programmed every time we left the room. The staff acted annoyed when asked to re program the keys indicating it was us, as the guests, fault that the keys were not working.

Nice clean rooms with friendly staff and a great location

Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I used the gym but several pieces of equipment didn’t work. The hot tub was empty when I got there. It was filled the next day but I was only staying overnight.
Jill
Fabulous place to stay!!
Ramon
Extremely convenient close the freeway and to restaurants.
Michele
Nathan at the front desk is awesome and the breakfast was delicious!!
Dustin
Hotel was okay but the room we stayed in was terrible broken bed which was only a topper mattress on a low frame the headboard was way higher than the mattress and the frame was busted in the middle I couldn’t believe what I was seeing especially for the amount of money I spent. Disappointed
Kayleigh
Check in was super fast and the staff was friendly and very welcoming! Hotel is easy to get to, parking seemed plentiful, and it was included with the stay. The walls and floors are definitely thin, the footsteps from neighbors on both sides shook the floor. The room was not spotless but the bed and any high traffic/high use areas were good. For the price and location it was a good deal. Would definitely recommend especially for solo travelers, the vibe overall was welcoming and safe. I would definitely stay here again!

The suite was spacious, breakfast was great, staff friendly and helpful, and location is nice.
Walls are SUPER thin. You can hear EVERY footstep and voice and the plumbing in the walls (which is quite loud).
There were a couple of questionable stains on the white linens and the heating/air-condoning unit's thermostat didn't work.

Booked two rooms, one room wasn’t clean. Needed to be vacuumed, shower was dirty.
Nicole
Staff in general was great. Loved the breakfast staff, very helpful. Thursday night check in lobby clerk was making weird jokes, I was not a fan. Room was a little worn but it was clean, had everything we needed plus extras like Kirkland coffee pods, comfortable heating/cooling. I would stay there again.
Jessica
Check-in was a breeze. Very clean rooms extremely comfortable beds.

Rachel
When checking in they made me try and contact Expedia because they wanted to charge more for my room. This was 9 pm that’s the last thing I wanted to do in the evening, I just wanted in my room. Plus it was embarrassing in front of other guests.
Our room door didn’t even close fully, didn’t feel safe.
Bedding was so light I wish I would have brought my own blankets, room was cold and to hot when you would bump up the temp.
Breakfast was fine besides the hairs our kids found in the eggs and fruit.
This was my 2 time staying at this location so I guess lesson learned.
Jesse

House keepers save the stay
Did not try breakfast. Parking was fine. Check in was trash. We had drove several hours, and were looking forward to a large bed and soak in the hot tub. We arrived at our room, which was super clean. The king size bed wasnt in the private room, it was in the main part of the suite. And the hot tub, did not work, nor were we informed of this while checking in. In fact if we would have been told this at check in, it would have swayed our decision to stay here. Staff did not inform us of this. The real winner of the trip is house keeping. They were always polite and professional. Perhaps the staff at the front desk can take some notes and advice from them. The bathroom shower was a total let down. The shower head was loose and the adjustment handle for the water temperature was loose. The elevator needs some attention.
Craig
It's a nice, comfortable place to stay. I recommend it.
Eric
tesla, really? what a view.
Max
Great place. Will stay again
Jessica
The bathroom was very dirty, hair in the tub, brown stuff on the walls. The parking lot door had broken but the staff did not put a sign on the door to tell you so. We sat in the rain for way too long attempting to enter. When I asked the front desk about it, she laughed and said oh yeah we know. Way would you not tell your guests. The hot tub was broken for an over a week at the time we stayed. Not our favorite.

I requested and received a handicap room. I’m disabled and the bed is so high, a handicap person cannot get into it. Ridiculous!

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The employees were friendly and helpful. There is very little entertainment or stores/restaurants around the property.

The property and staff was great!!
Expedia was AWFUL!!!
Expedia miss handled my reservation. Made to I had to book outside of my booking. Expedia canceled my room without my permission when all I wanted was a date change when called to correct the problem Expedia was unwilling and incapable of changing or helping rectify the problem. Which intern me having to book straight through the property, which I will do from this point on always. This is the first time in 15 years I’ve ever had this problem with Expedia and their employees everyone was incompetent and no one was willing to go the extra mile to help accommodate or rectify the problem. And when asked for a supervisor, I was informed they were not allowed to give that information. My entire experience was negative, unprofessional and negligent on their part. Expedia part the property was amazing.

I was there for two nights just to sleep, but what I loved most was the breakfast. There was a lot of variety, that was fabulous.

Room didn't not have a pleasant smell. There were stains on the side of the bed. Mystery items smeared on the ceiling.

A below average family stay.
Was unhappy that the tv channels did not work and that the hot tub was not in service. Nothing about these amenities not working where mentioned on the website when booking my stay. Our room door was hard to open and would not open or shut without force. Breakfast was good, hotel staff was helpful. There was no complementary cookies at any time of our stay just a sign and empty case.
George
This our 2nd time staying here, wish we had more time to play pool or to swim, but it was a quick stop. Multiple dinner options within walking distance. Tesla dealership next door caused a crowded street, but parking lot was easy access.
Lance
Noah at the front desk was amazing. He did everything possible to make us feel welcome and at home. He went out of his way to ensure our stay was great, and it was!
Best Western is fortunate to have this young man on their staff! Thanks Noah!

I loved this hotel! The staff was so friendly, especially Maya at the front desk. The location is quiet and you can drive to stores and restaurants that are just about a mile away. Easy to get on the highway to go into Spokane or drive over to Idaho.
The breakfast was great with hot selections like scrambled eggs and hash browns and waffles, as well as cold cereals, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, and tea.
The room was spacious with the sink outside of the bathroom, which was great when two people are getting ready in the morning!

Nice room. Clean property. Breakfast spread was exceptional!

Bathroom bulbs blinking. Refrigerator is noisy, had to unplug it.

Checked in Saturday, There was no maintenance on site to repair our toilet until Monday. husband had to repair. Hotel is in need of a refresh and deep cleaning. Our room didn’t feel clean. Linens had some stains. They also ran the wrong credit card at check out. Location is good, and their “family” room was great for us, but with everything else, would likely not stay again
Megan
Property was clean and breakfast was yummy. Complaints were the window did not properly fit so it was open a bit. Also the noise from kids running up and down the hallways and the ice maker was broken so we had to go to the first floor to get ice each time. We were there 4 days and no one cleaned our room. It didn’t need it but they could’ve changed our towels and sheets.
Kim
Pool and hot tub closed. Leaky toilet. Expensive.
Brandi
Pool and hot tub were advertised but were closed. Staff indicated they had been closed for renovations since May 2024 but no work was being done. Elevator was incredibly slow! One washer & dryer on site for guests. Washer was quick and good but the dryer took about an hour to dry. 4+ people in line when we washed our small load of clothes and still had to hang them to dry after 40 minutes. When we arrived at 9pm and entered our room someone else’s stuff was inside. Front desk had given us the wrong room. Thankfully no person was inside at the time we walked in. Also held a $25 incidental fee that was not mentioned at checkin but was not charged for it in the end. Asked for a printed receipt but their printer froze up. Seemed to be a lot of small issues all over.
kirsti
The pool/hot tub is closed for repair, apparently for the last 10 months! That wasn’t disclosed via Expedia at all, and unfortunately the pool was partly why we chose this location. The room was clean enough and fine, though there was a tear in the curtains, so that was kind of ratty. Overall, the stay was OK but I wanted to leave a review because this was our most unfortunate hotel experience on our 10 day trip.
Rachel
Very clean.
Carrie
When we arrived the pool was closed for repairs, and looked like it had been for a while. I feel like this should be disclosed when booking when that is one of the reasons you book there.
Savannah
Hotel was great ! Everyone was very friendly - room was perfect ! And breakfast was great ! The pool was out of service which we wished we were told before hand because the kids wanted to swim ! Maybe informing customers before would have been nice !

Great breakfast and nice room. Very comfy bed, great staff.

My family experience was safe. However, I’m not sure if I would ever choose a family suite with Best Western again. My complaints were out of the control of staff onsite but they were fantastic and maintained their composure and professionalism. Every employee who was present during my stay deserves recognition for how well they handled the situation. The lobby was packed with customers who were voicing their complaints and I stood and witnessed their ability to handle the things that were beyond their control. I have sense enough to understand that my problems are with the Corporate level and their decisions on staffing levels and marketing.
Charles
Very nice and clean
Jay
Upon arrival we found out the pool was closed due to repairs
Bernadette
We booked the hotel so the kids could play in the pool and we could relax in the hot tub. The pool and hot tub were both closed during our stay. Very disappointing as the pictures showed it - Expedia should remove pictures that are not representative of the property during the time you are booking.
