It was nice and quiet. The pool was nice.
The room was clean enough. The bathroom could have been cleaned a bit more. Carpets were stained so that needs attention .
A decent price for a decent room and close to everything.

These seemed to be confusion around our room and someone came in to our room at 12:45 AM! We checked in around 6 and got our keys, but they had the room listed as vacant. I’ve never had anything happen like this and was surprised that there wasn’t more of an effort to “make it right” just an “oh my goodness! I’m so sorry”. Maybe an offer to comp breakfast at least? The location is beautiful, but the building is aging and you can tell. For the price I think I will look somewhere else next time.

There should have been a continental breakfast included in the price since no coffee makers were in the rooms. We booked our rooms for 2 nights but were locked out after our first night. I had to go back to main desk to unlock both rooms on two different occasions! We arrived about 6:30 on a Friday night & ate in the restaurant & had a very nice gentlemen wait on us, he was good & so was the food.

The Red Lion Inn is very well situated in Post Fall, ID, convenient to a full range of restaurants with short drives, and to access I 90 quickly. The staff were very friendly at the front desk. The facility adequately clean but with a very worn look and feel. The lobby and public areas felt cavernous and not very welcoming, the view of the river from first floor just barely enough to value (although better than parking lot!), indoor hot tub and pool unavailable, no coffee maker in the room, no breakfast offered, workout room clean and minimally equipped but functioning. Pet allowed (which is great) but not placed in a pet selected set of rooms separate from non-pet guests, so multiple dogs barking during two night stay. No chair on small patio outside room, one small table not well maintained only, which we had to repurpose into the room to have a side table to the chair in the room (not an outdoor useable chair.) So, yes, adequate, but not a repeat stay worthy location for the money. Thank you to the kind front dest staff upon check in.

My fiance and I stayed at this beautiful location while we were getting a night away from all of our responsibilities, getting some much needed privacy and alone time, and all that it would include. When I first walked into the room, I was a tiny bit thrown off by another door leading outside, but that's because I didn't read everything. I loved that if we wanted to we could go sit outside and enjoy the weather and I assume the view, but I didn't look at the view... I was way more excited about the jetted tub and king size bed!
First, the jetted tub! It's perfect for two, but if you want the jet on any spot in particular... like on your back while you lean back, then you might want to be the one picking your side first lol! My fiance went with the inside spot and he said that he had about 2.5 jets that worked, but after I let him have my spot, I thought that all the jets were fine. After we were done soaking for a while, we got out and dried off... I will say that in my opinion the towels could have been bigger and there could have been something to be able to step on cause I slid a little bit at first! We were trying to use as few towels as possible at first, but then we put a towel down so I wouldn't slide anymore.
Next, the best part! The bed! It was made beautifully! I hated to wreck it, but I was ready to get comfy and relax!!! There was nothing icky or wrong with the bedding! Plenty

Spacious room, very comfortable bed. We ate breakfast at the restaurant but the chef was sick so there was a buffet, everything offered was good although maybe a little overpriced. Can't beat the view from the dining area! We love that they welcome pets and have a very nice lawn area for them to run and do their business.

Friendly staff like our last visit. Close to Shabby Fabrics and Buck Knives factory, and the Sawmill grill where we like to eat when we're in Pist Falls. Lots of parking. Some lamp posts have 120v outlests where we can plug in our car. Quiet here and better option to spend the night before surgery in Spokane where staying downtown mught have been noisy with sirens near the hospitals.

The lobby is clean and spacious with beautiful river views.
Great location, just short trip east/west to explore. Coeur d’Alene or Spokane, plus catch the centennial trail.
Do not expect a lot from the room quality. It’s clean and they have same towels and amenities as other RedLion motels. But it is in need of serious room updates. We had 3 deadbolts on room door ( security lacking?) shower leaked everywhere in to bathroom. Zero vanity, missing closet door, old unfinished tp fixture (weird). Linens, pillows, mattress all good. Staff was nice. This was once was a top notch hotel. I sincerely hope they update it.

The toilet has the small round lid.
That's okay for a woman to sit on.
A man needs an oval lid, so both orifices aren't touching the seat.
I wouldn't recommend this place if you like to relax while doing your business

Lobby was up to date. Took about 15 mins to be noticed by staff to check in. There is a $75 deposit per room that we were not aware of plus fees to use pool and towels etc that we were aware of. Rooms were outdated. The heater in our room kept switching off and upon inspection the outlet it was plugged into was broken and in my opinion dangerous.the chain lock onnthe door was bent so it kept popping off. There was mildew in the bathrooms and what looked to be a bad paint job over top of it.our bathroom heat light switch was broken. The mirror closet in our 2nd room had a Crack in it so we were scared to move it. The internet did not work whatsoever in either room. Our room phone also did not work and it was a walk to the front desk. Day 2 our key cards wouldnt work to even enter the building let alone our rooms. Staff however did seem friendly. We did not visit the bar/restaurant due to the cost we spent overall on 2 rooms plus deposits. Pool was nice and warm hot tub was hot but again a pretty long walk from our rooms to get to it. (I am disabled) we were in building B and the pool was in the main building and bottom floor. Will update if we can once our deposit is returned

The front desk staff were amazing. So helpful and conscientious. Super welcoming.

The restaurant staff were super helpful and the food was delicious. Being displaced due to a power outage is very stressful but all the amazing staff here made it a much better day.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained.
I would highly recommend this as a must place to stay.

The Bad. “ Not updated” would be too kind. Dark, worn, shower inoperable, so I had to change rooms. No place in bathroom to place your supplies other than back of toilet. No counter at all. Generally beat up.

But they put us on the ground floor - with a view of the lawn!! Could not see the river at all!! I'd rather have a view of the parking lot!! Very disappointing in that regard.

Paid extra for a river-view room but although property appeared nearly empty (few cars in parking lot) front desk clerk put us in lower floor room from which river can’t be seen. It also was across from a utility room which had a pump or similar starting up every 10 minutes or so sounding like a siren. Room was a bit shabby with multiple gouges on the walls. Took desk clerk 15 minutes to check in one couple before me. Poor service and not good value.

Without a doubt, the best pet friendly hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are old and dated, but they are exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. I was disappointed that the hot tub was not working and honestly, the pool needs to be shut down as well because it is Pretty awful. The rest of the property is outstanding! Beautiful, clean green spaces and a lovely beach and Marina. Close to everything. I would highly recommend this property. Just don’t come expecting a pool and hot tub like I did.

The internet is terrible. I inquired at the front desk and was given a different internet to try and it was just as bad. The restaurant had limited options and the food quality was terrible. None of the workers seemed to care or wanted to help improve your stay at all. The only good thing about this place was if you walked down a little there is live music playing with a pizza truck and ice cream on certain nights.

Husband and I stayed for 3 nights, in town for a wedding. We loved the king bed, happy that there was 2 chairs, a side chair and desk chair for sitting to have coffee instead of having only the bed to sit on. A negative is that the AC unit blows air directly to the bed and the vents cannot be moved. The carpet had some stains and some paint in the bathroom is peeling. Some upgrades are needed but this did not detract from our comfort. The bathroom needs a fan! Huge area for pets and lots of room for the dog to run.

Stayed here 5 days in August. Room was clean and had a nice view of the river. Beds were comfortable and everything worked. Nice sized bathroom with actual shampoo and soap, not those big stuck on the wall dispensers. Fabulous marina food truck, views and staff.
