The hotel overall was decent. The bed was comfortable. But our shower had that pink mold in all the cracks so that was gross. Other than that, solid mid range hotel. But not worth the price which started with a 2.

Asked the guy at the desk for a pack and play for my little, I got the paperwork signed everything and went upstairs. My husband put it up and realized it was all completely broken and our son couldn’t sleep in that. He took it back and explained what was wrong with it and said it was not safe for any child to sleep in and the guy said that it was all they had at the moment and he had other things to do so my husband would have to wait. Definitely not the experience we wanted to deal with.

Our experience was not very good, but to say the least after we checked in the desk gave our room away and a random person walked into our room at 11pm and scared the crap out of my kids. There were toenails and crumbs in the pull out bed. The breakfast staff was very rude and began putting food away at 830 even though breakfast was until 9. My toilet was clogged Saturday (6-27-26) morning at 9am. I called the front desk and asked them if they could send someone to clean my room, fix my toilet and bring extra blankets and pillows for the pull out. I was told they didn’t have anymore pillow but someone would come clean the room fix the toilet and bring extra blankets. We left to go to Silverwood theme park and didn’t get back to the hotel until 9pm that night. My room had not been cleaned my toilet was still clogged but I did get extra blankets so I knew someone had been in the room. I called the desk and asked to get someone to fix the toilet and she said that she would be right up. I left my 14 year son in the room while me and my wife went to the bar. 2 hrs later around 11-1130pm we came back from the bar and toilet was not fixed. I called the desk again and was told she was unable to find a plunger. After she finally found one she said she was grabbing gloves then would meet me at my door and 20 mins later I went down to the desk again and she was helping people check in so I grabbed the plunger behind the desk and fixed the toilet myself worst hotel experience ever.

Our stay at Comfort Inn & Suites on Appleway in Coeur d’Alene was extremely disappointing. We went almost 24 hours without a working toilet, which was a major inconvenience, and despite requesting housekeeping service, no one came to our room.

The most concerning issue was that a member of our family’s room key was given to a stranger. This is a serious security concern that should never happen at any hotel.

To make matters worse, the kitchen staff were rude to our children, making breakfast an uncomfortable experience for our family.

Unfortunately, the combination of poor customer service, lack of housekeeping, the plumbing issue, and the serious security lapse made this one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We would not stay here again.

Room 211 air conditioner was not efficient at all and very noisy. The elevator as unsettling to ride, metal grinding and door s in need of oiling. The breakfast gal was very grumpy on Friday, and eggs and sausage were not good. Saturday staff was much more helpful and positive and the scrambled eggs were fantastic. Star was very kind and understanding. Power outage made the hotel a hot box!

It was a nice room very clean and comfortable. I was disappointed no regular coffee for the room. Needed to request Kleenex and they got it right away. My issue was the breakfast. Not the food, it was good, but they refused to serve a family because their little boy ( he was 2 no more then 3 yrs old) because he had no shirt. The dad wanted to keep the boys shirt clean. The sign only said \"no shoes no service\". The lady was'nt very nice about it. That left me with a sour taste

I have never written a negative hotel review, but the service here was awful.Days before arrival, I called to request a room adjoining my friend's room. The male agent gave endless excuses, falsely claiming I booked a king room. He was incredibly rude.On check-in day, I called at 10:00 AM asking for an early check-in because I had two toddlers and a dog. The woman flatly said, “No, check-in is at 4:00,” with zero empathy. We arrived at the lobby at 2:00 PM. The agent refused to check if any rooms were ready, saying housekeeping wasn't even there. They offered no solutions, wouldn't hold bags, and ignored us for an hour with their backs turned. When I asked for a manager, I was told they were in a closed office. We had to leave and spend extra money at a restaurant just to wait.At 4:00 PM, we returned to a massive line. The same male agent checked us in. Before I spoke, he aggressively typed and snapped that our rooms would not be adjoining. The black-haired female agent and the sandy-blonde male agent are unfit for hospitality. Paying $600 for two nights at a Comfort Inn off a terrible road should come with basic respect. This hotel is terrible, and I will share this warning everywhere

We requested cleaning service daily because we knew we would need fresh towels etc -when we returned hot & dirty we didn’t have fresh towels or shampoo/conditioner so had to call down for someone to bring them up then we requested cleaning service again and they finally got it right.
Wish hotel would acknowledge membership even if you book thru 3rd party that’s lame that they don’t

I asked for a room on the top floor and had to wait a little but was happy I waited. The room was a good size, clean, lots of storage space, and for the most part QUIET. It was comfortable, the towels were good, the shower quite good except the water leaked out past the curtain a little. The breakfast was fine but the coffee was just ok. Be forewarned that they only make up the rooms every 3 days so if you are staying multiple nights you may want to ask at the front desk to have your room refreshed every other day or even every day. Because of the leaking shower we needed our towels replaced so I just asked for the room to be made up. No problem. We slept well and enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was fine, but not exceptional. The room was large. The temperature in the room is regulated by an in-window unit. It was running constantly. The breakfast was mediocre. Every day was canned gravy heated up and offered with biscuits. The bread offerings were only white and wheat bread and a muffin (that changed daily). There was an egg dish (scrambled eggs, omelet, etc.) and a breakfast meat. The yogurt choices were high in sugar. I was going to have oatmeal one morning, but found a hair in it. There were two waffle flavors, a \"regular\" and a fruit flavor. I personally don't like these pre-made batters, too processed. The cereals were a Cheerio like products and something with multiple artificial colored pieces. Nothing I would consider an adult cereal.

But the breakfast was good. But i requested a late check out and they were rude and refused to ket me have a kate checkout so i had to rush to get out of the room on time. I have stayed at this hotel a few times recently. This time was not good. I'm wondering if it's under new management. I am disabled and have to have an accessible room. The room I was in this time had no towel bars at all. We were given only one washcloth each. There is no waste basket by the sink in the bathroom area. The ironing board broke as soon as we tried to put it up. It was very noisy. They did not allow any kind of late checkout, even for the disabled. The door to the room has no way of being propped open, not a doorstop or anything to allow you to easily enter and exit the room if you're, for instance, using a walker or a wheelchair. They are also redoing one of their parking areas which seems to be taking quite a long time and this means on a busy night there's basically nowhere to park.

I booked this stay through Expedia with “pay at property,” and after a 12-hour drive, we arrived around 11:30 PM to find not only no parking (likely due to construction), but that our reservation had been canceled without any real notice.

The front desk employee was the only bright spot—she was professional and tried to help—but she had no clear explanation. First it was “not sure,” then suddenly it was blamed on a card issue. I was told I should have received an email, but the only email I received was asking how my check-in experience was—which is honestly insulting considering I never even got to check in.

My reservation was canceled at 1:30 PM—hours before check-in—yet no effective communication was made to ensure I actually knew. Canceling a same-day reservation without confirmed notice, then selling out the hotel, is unacceptable.

Because of this failure, we were left stranded late at night after driving all day and had to scramble to find another hotel, ultimately paying double at La Quinta Inn & Suites just to have somewhere to sleep.

This is a complete breakdown in basic hospitality and reservation management. If you’re going to cancel confirmed bookings, you need to ensure the guest is clearly notified—not leave them finding out at the front desk at midnight.

I expect accountability for this.

When we arrived there was no parking in the parking lot, so people were told to park illegally which ended up blocking in a different guest when I was getting ready to check out they were trying to figure out the guest who blocked in their vehicle so they could leave. The window to my room was broken and not shut all the way so you could hear the freeway noise all night long. And the people above us which is not necessarily the hotel's fault, but they let their children run jump off the bed and run around the room until 1:30 in the morning I had to go down and talk to the person at the front desk to please contact them to ask them to stop because the phone call down there did not work. I never heard back from the manager after having several concerning issues. They were supposed to be in and called and said they weren't going to be there until 10:00 or at least that's what the staff told me. It was a horrible stay we were exhausted from driving all day needed a good night's sleep and I only got 4 hours of sleep. The food was fine but since the place was sold out he had to stand around and wait to get more food they only had one person working with a packed Hotel so it didn't seem very well thought out. They are definitely cutting corners on staff. No I would not stay here again or recommend it.
