The staff was particularly helpful, especially Patricia who followed up on every request, i.e. towels for the hot tub more towels (2 women in out group so lots of towels. Super lounge club area and excellent workout room (although I didn't use any of the equipment.) Location is greast for water activities, shopping or dining--could walk to everything in 2-10 minutes.

The unit didn’t have hot water on a consistent basis in the master suite. The rooftop was closed because of window washing going on. Parking was extremely tight. All that being said, we loved our stay! The unit was well appointed and the staff were very helpful. The view was fantastic! We will probably come back.

This is a permanent resident/hotel property. It’s a nice location overlooking Coeur d’Alene lake. Within walking distance to restaurants and the downtown core, it may appeal to some.

We found out that if you book through a 3rd party service, you don't really understand this hotel or the process of check-in. You can only park once you have the keys to the unit, so you have to find street parking (difficult) & check in at the desk. Then retrieve your car & drive in the underground garage. Also, there's a daily charge to access the rooftop which has the amenities. That was not spelled out. Unfortunately, the beautiful rooftop hot tub you see in the pictures was out of order, and they didn't tell the desk. That was one of the main reasons we wanted to rent the unit. The desk clerk was lovely though and comped our parking. The suite was fabulous and worth every penny. You just need to know the system before you go in order to be satisfied when you arrive.

I recently stayed at the One Lakeside Hotel in Coeur d’Alene and had a wonderful experience. The facilities were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, contributing to a very comfortable stay. The hotel staff was consistently kind and helpful throughout our visit.
Unfortunately, due to poor weather, we were not able to enjoy the top-floor amenities, which we understand are a highlight of the property. We look forward to experiencing those on a future visit.

And had to pay out of pocket an extra 30$ just to be able to use those amenities which we didnt even use oh and 15$ a night for parking. Will not stay here again. Oh and no breakfast. The only difficulty was that our room faced a huge construction project across the street. Workers began at 6am and woke us up both mornings of our stay. Obviously that is nothing One Lakeside has any control over- again, they were truly exceptional and we will 1,000% come back for another stay! We were impressed!

We were charged $150 for smoking, we didn’t smoke, they smelt it in the parking garage and we got the blame. They also had a window cleaner repel in front of our window while my wife was dressing. No warning. She was a bit rattled. Over all the person working the desk seemed habitually angry. Would strongly not recommend this property.

I thought it was highly misleading that they did not inform me the rooftop hot tub / outdoor area was closed for window washing. The entire reason that I booked this place was for the hot tub and roof top views only to be informed at check in that they were closed. The roof top is the key image in all of their media, on hotels.com and on their website.
They contacted me multiple times before my check in about parking / pet fees / check in times but never once mentioned the roof being closed. Had I known this I would have booked elsewhere. They conveniently waited until I was outside of the cancellation window before informing me. Pretty deceptive…

The location and room were great. We loved the easy walking to downtown. The room and patio were nice and we enjoyed our breakfasts outside.
From when we first checked in the front desk seemed apathetic at best. We were told the roof area with hot tub and views was closed so the window cleaners could work. It seemed like an excuse, this was a weekend and there were no cleaners to be found all weekend. Very frustrating as it’s a reason we booked at the property.
Parking is extremely limited and I asked what happens when it’s full and I got a non answer. Sure enough we went for a movie came back at 11:05pm and had no where to park and no front desk. When I asked to have parking removed for the night from my bill I got the impression I was inconveniencing the staff.

We looked into the lake which was beautiful. And the space was very nice , no light on the patio if you like to sit outside. The club house level wasn’t available as they were window washing and closed the hot tub so didn’t have use of that or the gym

Got locked out of our room for several hours in the middle of the night. No people were in the lobby at the time so we had to wait for someone to come out and get us into the room. That had all of our stuff in it as well.
