We have been traveling and using Expedia for over 20 years. We booked this hotel via Expedia more than a month before our stay with a “pay at hotel” rate. The hotel decided to cancel our reservation in the morning of our arriving due to some cc pre authorization issue without any attempt whatsoever of contacting us. We got many other messages from the hotel - via the Expedia messaging - with confirmation and welcome messages but none about an issue with pre authorization. We only found out when we arrived at the hotel after driving 5 hours. The manager didn’t care - they give our hotel room to others charging a higher rate and made no effort what so ever to help or find another accommodation. Expedia also did nothing - leaving our family stranded for one night without a room or any assistance to book one on a city that was sold out! We are a diamond expedia member and this was the worse experience we had with them! Do not stay at this hotel as the management and reception staff are TERRIBLE!

A great location. Huge rooms. Bed was super comfy. Very quiet. Kitchen was awesome to have. Very clean. Needs an update on the tub and hallways. Paying $30 extra for the rooftop and access to the gym was a surprise. Those amenities should be covered in the resort fee. Overall, love it. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Coeur d’Alene, One Lakeside is hard to beat! The location is outstanding—just a short walk to the beach, parks, shops, and fantastic restaurants, so we rarely needed our car.

Our suite was exceptionally clean, spacious, and felt like a home away from home with a full kitchen and in-unit laundry. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our stay.

This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for the Ironman 70.3 CDA race and the location could not have been more perfect. We were very impressed with the spaciousness, cleanliness, and amenities in the room. Tricia at the front desk was so helpful, kind, and gracious. 100% recommend staying here, especially if you're participating in the race!

Meant to book the other, better “resort” next door, but the same location and shared photos between the two properties caused some confusion. This is an apartment, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. The location is excellent, but the main disappointment was that, given the high price, I expected much more in terms of quality and amenities.

Great location, 1 block from the lake. When we were there the lot next door was under construction so there was a bit of noise. The suite was configured strangely. The living room and kitchen were plenty big, but the bedroom was a little cramped. It was nice having laundry in the suite. On site parking is available for a daily fee. Not really anywhere else to park though. Hot tub was available for a daily fee as well although we opted to skip that. Mixed use residential and rental, so you'll run into owners. Overall nice stay, but I think next time I'll try and get on the water for the price I paid.

We loved how close to the beachfront this property was and how accessible to the Centennial bike path. We parked in the garage for 4 days and just walked and biked right from the property. Our apartment was so comfy and had a nice view of the beachfront! We used the rooftop hot tub and seating area and enjoyed the amazing views from up there.
The staff at the front desk was always so willing to help us out with whatever questions we had. We will definitely plan to spend time at One lakeside again next year!!

I don’t often write reviews although I stay in hotels at least every other month. I feel like this “hotel” is totally misrepresenting itself. It’s definitely way more of a VRBO. The primary function of this building is condo/ residential living with a couple of the units available to book as “hotel rooms.” As such, although the location is excellently situated in the town, there is absolutely nothing going on in the actual hotel. Literally NOTHING. No restaurants or bars, no amenities, it’s unbelievably quiet, we barely saw another soul for the 2 days we stayed there. We attempted to check in early on our first afternoon, the front desk employee seemed like this was a request that had never been made before. She took my phone number to text me if a room became available but never even asked my name so I assumed (correctly) that I would never hear from her. We inquired about parking in the garage while we waited for the room to be ready. Again this request was barely even acknowledged with a vague “it’s probably full, just stay on the street.” There are plenty of other fun places to stay in Coeur d’Alene, if you want any type of activities, stay there instead. The suite itself is large but the actual bedroom is tiny with no room for luggage. Housekeeping only every 3 days. And they charge an extra $30 per day for use of the hot tub which seems ridiculous. Overall I do not recommend this “vibeless” hotel.

The room itself was very nice. The bed was super comfortable, the space was large, and the views were great — honestly more room than I even needed. I enjoy trying different places when I travel, and overall I enjoyed my stay.

A few things could definitely be improved though. It would help to have a much bigger sign or clearer instructions for check-in. I drove around the block a few times trying to figure out where to go. It would be helpful if they explained ahead of time that you drive into the parking garage, check in there, and then you’re set. I basically had to guess how the process worked.

I was also disappointed there was no pool, and having to pay an extra $25 to use the hot tub felt unnecessary — it would be nicer if that was just included for guests.

The staff mentioned they would notify me when the room was ready, but I never received a message. I also never received my emailed receipt. Overall though, the room itself was clean, comfortable, and had beautiful views.

What a great place to stay. Initially we had planned on staying at the resort, but took a chance and stayed here instead. What a blessing it turned out to be. This is a mixed use property that combines several floors condos that are managed as a hotel in combination with traditional condos. It was extremely quiet, clean, and the location was impeccable. The staff was friendly and helpful. My kids specifically asked to stay here next trip to CDA.

Great spot, home away from home, will stay again. The only thing to know is the parking garage isn't very big, Trucks will have a hard time squeezing in, but we were able to find a spot close by and Stephanie refunded my parking pass for the garage since we didn't fit. Great staff, really nice space and very quiet stay. Thank you OneLake!

The staff was particularly helpful, especially Patricia who followed up on every request, i.e. towels for the hot tub more towels (2 women in out group so lots of towels. Super lounge club area and excellent workout room (although I didn't use any of the equipment.) Location is greast for water activities, shopping or dining--could walk to everything in 2-10 minutes.

The unit didn’t have hot water on a consistent basis in the master suite. The rooftop was closed because of window washing going on. Parking was extremely tight. All that being said, we loved our stay! The unit was well appointed and the staff were very helpful. The view was fantastic! We will probably come back.

We found out that if you book through a 3rd party service, you don't really understand this hotel or the process of check-in. You can only park once you have the keys to the unit, so you have to find street parking (difficult) & check in at the desk. Then retrieve your car & drive in the underground garage. Also, there's a daily charge to access the rooftop which has the amenities. That was not spelled out. Unfortunately, the beautiful rooftop hot tub you see in the pictures was out of order, and they didn't tell the desk. That was one of the main reasons we wanted to rent the unit. The desk clerk was lovely though and comped our parking. The suite was fabulous and worth every penny. You just need to know the system before you go in order to be satisfied when you arrive.
The desk clerk said that if you directly book with the hotel, you will get all the details spelled out in an email prior to arrival. You don't get them when it's a third party reservation site. Do better Hotels.com

I recently stayed at the One Lakeside Hotel in Coeur d’Alene and had a wonderful experience. The facilities were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, contributing to a very comfortable stay. The hotel staff was consistently kind and helpful throughout our visit.

Unfortunately, due to poor weather, we were not able to enjoy the top-floor amenities, which we understand are a highlight of the property. We look forward to experiencing those on a future visit.

Overall, this is an excellent facility, and I would gladly recommend it to friends and others considering a stay in Coeur d’Alene.

Room was pretty but the bed was rock hard. And completely uncomfortable. And couldnt use the hot tub or pool because it was raining and its a roof top pool which makes no sense. And had to pay out of pocket an extra 30$ just to be able to use those amenities which we didnt even use oh and 15$ a night for parking. Will not stay here again. Oh and no breakfast. Kitchen is only available for residents.

I want to take the time to thank Amanda and Sarah for making our stay (Saturday, January 17th - Monday, January 19th) at One Lakeside Hotel the best. We've stayed at several other hotels in the area, and they don't even compare with the Love, service, and professionalism that you all give to your customers

It started with a booking from Expedia that went south, and Amanda saved the day. She gave us all the time we needed and understood exactly what we were going through. We will never use Expedia again. Amanda has a way of making you feel like you're the most important person in the world and understands how important your stay will be.

When we arrived, Sarah was a joy to check in with. Her smile was infectious, and she took all the time to let us know all the hotel had to offer. Sarah also knows how to make you feel important, and she is very good about looking you in the eye to make sure you know she is there anytime you need help or have questions.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay and can't wait to return. We hope management will see how they go the extra mile and deserve serious recognition and kudos.

The only difficulty was that our room faced a huge construction project across the street. Workers began at 6am and woke us up both mornings of our stay.
