Over all my stay was very good. The mattress was extremely comfortable.
My biggest complain was the configuration of the breakfast bar. It's design was not conducive to good flow through the area. The L shape made for a slow completion of the waffles, especially with children in the line. Perhaps the age of the building limited the ability to make the breakfast bar layout optimal.

They did try fixing it but couldn't get it fixed so no tv for my stay there. It would have been nice to go to a room with a working tv. Other than that it was an OK stay.

The property was very good for the price. It was apparent that it had been refreshed recently. The only complaint I would have is the mattress. It was quite uncomfortable to share with my husband as we kept rolling into each other. The staff were very nice and helpful!

When we got to the property the room we were given was not cleaned so we went back to the manager and he did give us a different room. The manager spends more time away from the desk than at the desk there is usually a sign that says back in a few mins. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were very flat. The breakfast was not very good however the make your own waffles were good but there was very limit variation of foods. We stayed for 4 days and were told that they do not come and clean until you check out.

The room seemed clean. It was very chilly and has a very loud heater to get it up to temperature. There were no clothes hangers at all. It had a coffee machine but no plug in near it. The room was quite dark and there was a shortage of plug ins. An extra blanker would have been nice. It was nice to have a small fridge in the room

The breakfast is not very good. The 2nd floor smelled like tuna the second you walked up there. Our stuff got locked in our room with the door mechanism not working. The poor front desk lady could not figure it out but was super nice. She got the maintenance guy to come who acted as if it was a big inconvenience to him to the front desk lady. It was not her fault! She did get our stuff out and moved our room. But this whole thing really should not have happened.

Only downfall I seen was I took the filter part off the coffee maker in room and under it was a ton of old coffee grounds from who knows how long ago caked on. Room had a musty smell and the freezer inside the little fridge had a ton of ice on it. I had ti unplug it and thaw it out to fit stuff in the fridge. Breakfast was supposed to be available at 6 am. We went down twice and at 6:25 I called the front desk, the lady who answered sounded like I had woke her up and said they were running behind and it would be ready in 20 minutes. We had to go elsewhere because we had to be somewhere.

Great staff and facility. The building was a little older and dated, but it had everything you need. The staff were painting the parking cement block so they are putting effort into the place. The only downside was the carpet area between the armchair and bed seems to be a little not clean/vacummed. There seemed to be some nail clippings on the carpet so the room could have been a little more clean. The door between the next hotel room is very thin and not sound proof. You could hear the next door neighbour. The person staying next door was very disruptive throughout the night and their tv waa on the entire time. The person kept swearing randomly all night, opening canned drinks so beware of interesting people staying.

Other than that, it did the job of providing a roof over your head and a place to stay with a simple breakfast. Other than the interesting neighbour, i had a decent stay.

Nice room with fridge & microwave. Really nice easy chair was a bonus. Pet was $15/night. No grassy areas nearby for waking dogs, but given dog treats at check-in. Friendly reception. Good continental breakfast - cereal, waffles with all the fixings, hard boiled eggs, bagels & muffins. Good wifi. Centrally located. Found a candy wrapper next to the bed but otherwise clean. Bed was comfortable.

Very run down rooms. No scheduled maid service except once a week, and that’s only if you stay for an entire week, which I wouldn’t.

I’m a nurse that works night shift and am used to sleeping during the day in hotels and my room was right next to a maintenance room. No one told me there would be any construction going on during my stay and the first day I tried to sleep all I heard on and off was what sounded like a table saw. I figured it was something that would be a one day thing, then it happened again the next day. I again thought, well they have to be done now since there is no visible construction going on anywhere. The third day it happened and so I checked out a day early. What I found out was that the maintenance room next to my room had a table saw in it and it’s where they do all the cutting for any room or building maintenance they need to do for the hotel.

When I checked out a day early, I did so as I was leaving for work, making my check out time 5pm. I asked if they could reimburse me for the night and was told that they couldn’t due to me checking out so late (2 hours after their check in time of 3pm). I told them why I was checking out early, which is how I found out about the maintenance room and still, with all the inconvenience they caused, would not reimburse me for the night I wasn’t going to be there for.

All in all. Not a place I would ever stay again and if I had one piece of advise for anyone else looking to stay there… STAY AWAY!!!

Convenient area with restaurants nearby, and it is reasonable for the area. Coeur d'Alene is just an expensive area, so the price was good for this area for what you get.

the staff was very friendly and helpful, definitely some of the best I seen in some of my stays recently. The breakfast was clean and well-stocked. They had hard-boiled eggs at least, which was nice to have. Pretty standard for a continental breakfast.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, though it is an old property, but unlike many places I stay, there were no weird smells in the room. It did not reek of weed as so many motel/hotels do now, which was nice.

A nice place to stay for the price for the area, it felt welcoming, it was clean and comfortable, and that's really all I ask.

The owner is truly sitting on a potential gold mine here. The staff was absolutely amazing and Jessica was so courteous and wonderful. The food was fresh and the heater worked great. However, the furniture was run down with broken drawers and cracked wood. The bed was so worn down and sunk in to the point it felt as if I was crouching instead of laying, and the carpet was peeling and bubbling horribly from the floor, I kept tripping over it. If the owner would put even a little effort into renovations I know the ratings and bookings would skyrocket. Good stay for a simple bed and a warm room, but don't expect anything more than that.

We arrived about 3:15. Check in starts at 3pm. Could not get anyone to the front desk. I did call the number left just incase, but no answer. So we left to get something to eat and came back after 4 and no problem. The lobby and breakfast area could use a good deep clean, but overall not terrible. Small selection for breakfast but enough to get something. The kids did enjoy the waffle maker. The room was fairly clean, except the sink still had hair from someone shaving left in between the faucet and back splash. Comfort had stains but removed it, and was fine. My biggest complaint is the Ac/Heater combo. It squealed so bad we had to turn it off. Couldn't take it. Overall, this is not the worst Hotel I have stayed in. Its was fairly clean, had plenty of clean towels, staff was nice, breakfast was ok, and free. The coffee had plenty of good creamer. The beds were comfortable enough. And it is only 20 minutes to Silverwood. The room price was definitely reasonable.

Our stay here was good overall. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Room was not fancy but everything worked and was clean. We had our dogs with us for the first time and they were welcomed. We did not pay a lot of money but we felt like we got a good room for a good price. Scareywood was great!

Everything at the hotel and its service were perfectly fine. Room was clean, parking was convenient, breakfast was tasty and had variety, and the hotelier Jesse at the front desk was congenial and helpful. It's just that the room walls are rather thin and you can hear people in neighboring rooms pretty clearly. My neighbors were a family with 2 kids. It was pretty annoying and I asked the front desk to be moved to another room, but all their rooms were booked and that couldn't be done. So it was just a case of luck in my case. I got the people with the undisciplined loud kids for 2 nights. It is what it is. Otherwise everything else was perfectly fine and the rates were very reasonable.

This was a horrible place to stay. Customer service was uncomfortable, we believe the host was under the influence. One bed had clearly questionable sheets, with what looked like makeup stains and grease stains. There were hairs in the shower and any surface not readily visible to the eye was layered in dust and hair. Older buildings with wear and tear are reasonable, but this felt unsanitary. The only reason we stayed and didnt find somewhere else was the late hour and 2 exhausted kids. Dont stay here.

The property is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Checking in and out was easy with very friendly front desk people. I asked for a quiet room as I was worried about street noise and was given a room on the first floor close to the office. It was very quiet. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was ok, had boiled eggs along with standard waffles, cereal, yogurt and muffins, juice and coffee. Price was reasonable. I would stay here again.

The place was very conveniently located. Close to a lot of food options and close to freeway for easy travel. Could use some protein on there bfast options some eggs and meat, mostly all carbs besides some yogurt. Staff if very friendly. Give them a A+. I didn’t sleep well dies to seeing a roach hotel trap under the sink. Honestly that had me sleeping with a light on throughout my whole stay. Didn’t sleep well because of that.

The check-in process was slow, room keys didn't work. Front Desk clerk didn't believe us and had to come back to our room to try the keys herself before programming new cards. She came back with us to let us in, and the room was sweltering hot. Window was left open, AC was turned off. There were some blood stains on the blanket on one of the beds, no towels in the room, and the floor hadn't been vacuumed. We called back to the desk from the room and were offered to switch rooms.
The second room had dirt stains on the bed sheets, and there were bedbugs and bedbug eggs under the bed sheets.
At that point, we just grabbed our stuff and went back to the front desk to check out and find a different hotel for the night.
We won't be booking with this property again.
