This was the grossest hotel room I have stayed in. Room was non-smoking but smelled of stale smoke, but even worse, the bathroom absolutely reeked of pee and the floors were so sticky we never took our shoes off. We had to lather up in sunscreen (that's the only lotion we had) before bed so we couldn't smell the pee while we were trying to fall asleep. I'm pretty sure a pet (or person?) peed all over the walls and tile grout or else they hadn't cleaned in weeks. It would have been zero stars even if it had been $100, but we actually paid $200 for one night. I've never felt so ripped off in my life.

We recently stayed at Baymont by Wyndham Coeur D’Alene and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The hotel did not feel clean overall. The floors and carpets were dirty, and the room did not appear to be properly maintained before our arrival. We also did not have enough toilet paper or towels in the room, which was inconvenient and frustrating.

In addition, the customer service was not very helpful or welcoming when we brought up concerns. We understand hotels can get busy, but basic cleanliness and guest support should still be a priority.

The location is convenient, but the condition of the hotel and the service did not meet our expectations. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the experience for future guests.

It was ok. Definitely very old with cosmetic upgrades. The beds were good but the bathroom smelled funny and in desperate need of new caulking. The carpets need replaced and definitely needed vacuumed in the hallways and on the stairs. There wasn’t one outlet that held onto a plug. Really hard to charge phones. Also, the lighting in the room was absolutely terrible. Really frustrating. They did allow dogs, which is why I chose it, but probably won’t stay again.

Staff was great, the hotel itself is pretty aged but nice grounds they were beautiful. We had the executive suite. The spa tub and wall of mirrors was awsome but the bathroom was not cleaned it had urine all over the walls smells horrible, the carpet w sticky. Breakfast was simple waffle, Eggs or cereal but worked.

Before I start with my honest review I have been a housekeeper for hotels/str for 10 years I want to say beware the pool has jagged tiles/thick chipped paint my 6yo sliced two of her toes on the stairs to the pool and I was made aware this is not the first incident.
Breakfast was minimal but covered the basic options, staff was overall friendly, other than the woman who checked us in she didn't give us the run down of info regarding breakfast, internet or inform us of a 50$ deposit but we figured it out we stayed two sperate nights on our way to Roundup MT and back. The hotel it's self was outdated and needed some remodeling but was fine our first room was clean but once I pulled back our bedding on one of our two queen beds their was some debris staff quickly fixed the issue. Our second night their was a spill of juice or some type of sticky juice on the wall and in my sister's room one of the two rolls of TP was left completely empty down to the cardboard and the bathroom mirror was dirty with toothpaste. I am not a picky individual but I would say I was not to impressed with my stay and for the price point I expected better

Our room was in a daylight basement with a grand view of a dirt sidewalk. The bathroom reeked of a combination of mold and bleach, as did most of the facility. The TV did not function, the unfortunate desk clerk had the same issue with at least 3 other rooms. After trying multiple remote controls, he finally had to actualy change out the TV.

Which leads us to the only bright spot, the desk clerk. He was unfailingly cheerful and helpful despite all the issues the facility presented him with. 5 stars for him! No stars for the hotel. Don't book here!

We have stayed 3 times now, as the hotel is great for our needs. It's clean, has a pool, hot tub, abd a basic breakfast to send us on our way. If youre looking for high end then you will probably find faults, but if you need a clean, quiet, inexpensive place to rest and relax, with meal to get you headed out, then we highly recommend this place. Breakfast has scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, fruit, waffles, coffee. New mattresses were being placed the first week of Nay, 2026. We had a king suite that was very comfortable, huge amount of room, frig and mic, huge shower, table and chairs, and a comfy overstuffed chair and basic. Only complaint is no electric doors to help getting suitcases through doors, but very few hotels do.

The guy at the front desk in the morning was working the front desk, trying to keep breakfast stocked and it looked like he was also cleaning rooms. Or at least the linens. The front desk guy at night said each room was only allowed 2 towels per room for the pool.

The rooms and the pool need a really really good deep cleaning. The walls were filthy, holes weren't filled in, along the walls was really dusty and hairy, like the vacuum didn't reach the wall. The pool had gobs of hair all over the floor and under the chairs. The staff were nice, no problems there.

This place is in need of serious updating, maintenance and cleaning. Staff on duty was very helpful and took care of getting us a different room after we saw all the mold around bath fixtures. The product used to clean the bath floor made it sticky. Both rooms were like that. Our shower curtain hadn’t been washed in a very long time. They’re supposed to be white, but ours was that orange/pink mildew color.

Yes it was cheep and only $15 extra per night for the dog but they put you in the basement level if you have a pet. Carpets are filthy, our room less the carpet was clean and the bed was great. Rooms are noisy if anyone is above you, very noisy but the area is quiet. We did see some families enjoying the pool, it looked clean.

Breakfast is the least of any value hotel I have stayed at in the area, steamed sausage, microwave eggs, waffle machine, some cereal, some apples and bread for toast and it was the exact same everyday for 4 days in a row. No yogurt, no milk cartons, no hard boiled eggs, no psalteries.

Although the room is a little older it is well taken care of and clean.The pool and hot tub were available for use and there was a basic hot eggs and sausage breakfast with waffles, toast, fruit, cereal and drinks available. For the price it was adequate. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. It looks like they are doing some updating. The hotel is just out of the populated area so it is quiet and there are plenty of places to eat and walk around.

The woman at the front desk was a bit rude…no personality and she charged me for checking in an hour early. Got to the room and it was really musty smelling. The shower curtain smelled like pee, but when I mentioned it, they gladly changed it. Probably won’t stay there again.

Spotlessly clean. New bed that was wonderfully comfortable. Nice pool and hot tub. Good hot breakfast. However! The building is dated to the point of being shabby. Some door skins held on with screws. Had to pull the nightstand out from the wall to find an outlet to charge my phone. Room was poorly repainted in hilariously mismatched colors. "Gym" was a stationary bike, an eleptical, a broken treadmill and nothing else.

Hot tub quit working after a few minutes. No iron, just an ironing board. Ran out of facial tissue in bathroom. Heater thermostat didn't work, had to shut completely off until room got too cold and had to turn back on. No blankets, kind of thick sheets....very uncomfortable. Pillows were awesome though. Towels seemed very stiff and were not soft at all.
A nice blanket, soft towels and a good running heater could go a long way towards making the stay much more comfortable.
Breakfast was very good and fresh tasting. Hot food hot, cold food cold.
Overall, I would consider staying again. I would just check on the above items immediately to be sure everything had been upgraded.

Our beds & bathroom were clean and very nice staff! Some of the things in the room, not so much. The air conditioner didn’t seem to be working very well and when we went to clean the filter, the whole front part of the AC was so full of dust and lint I had to take everything to the bathtub and clean it. I would have vacuumed the vents if I had a vacuum or ever saw staff in the hallway. The vent in the bathroom definitely needed vacuuming and the lampshades were just covered in dust. The rest of the room was wonderful! The staff couldn’t have been nicer and breakfast was superb. I would still stay again, but I would ask them to check those things before I arrived.

The firat room was clearly not cleaned. Spoils on the bottom of the fridge and mold in the door. There were swim shorts hanging over the shower rod, that were not ours. They moved us into another room, which had a dirty fridge as well. They seemed bothered that we complained about it.

Room was so so. We had to pick up all the garbage that was left behind under the bed and behind the bedside tables. The jets in the spa tub were in the wrong place, all they did was churn the water they didn't hit you so that you could relax. The manager took 20$ off my bill and told us the housekeeper would be fired but they just moved him to a different floor. Will not be going back

CDA is a serene, beautiful small city. Baymont located in a mixed commercial-residential area that is surprisingly quiet. It is also across the street from a cemetery - which we did not mind. Enthusiastic, welcoming, knowledgeable desk staff helped us get situated. Huge rooms - ours had a kitchen suite. Only 2 complaints: (1) kitchen sink was clogged and drained very slowly, and (2) AC unit rattled very loudly when running. We informed the desk staff he next morning.

1st floor rooms are in "basement" - dark and musty. Rooms need a good deep clean ... dust and dirt in many places, mold on sink, hair in shower, ripped bedding. No shower or floor mat and tub is very slippery. No notice of hold for "incidentals", and no elevator. In room coffee pot was not clean. Food was empty and not refilled at breakfast.

The room was not clean at all. Carpets not vacuumed. Headboards dusty. Window sill was dirty. The bathroom floor, tub and shower curtain was gross. Underneath the beds were filthy as well and threw away garbage found under the beds. The over all room looked clean at first but once stayikg in there the more I found I was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I actually had to clean it my self just to feel comfortable. The beds, sheets and pillows were clean. And the only positive note I have to say about the room was the beds. Very comfortable and most of us slept well. The staff was very friendly. We were only there for one night, but the hotel in general was a nice place to stay. The only other complaint I have is that the indoor pool and Jacuzzi was not very clean. It looked clean, but it had a very rancid smell in the Jacuzzi and there was a lot of foam. It almost smelled like ammonia. It had no scent of chlorine whatsoever while being in the pool room.

The customer service was top notch! Very friendly, very kind and helpful. The breakfast was the usual to expect and that was okay with us. The beds are comfortable at least our room. Close to everything, good location! The plug ins wouldnt hold our chargers they just fell out, so i asked for a powerstrip and it was provided for my family to charge devices and my cpap machine. Also got to check in early, if they can get you in they will. 4.2 stars really.

We come to the Baymont at least every other month just for a little getaway from Spokane. It was depressing though this time as the hot tub spot in the bedroom was filled with hair when we got there including at the filter. I had because every washcloth in the room to clean it. Then when I went to bed I flipped the comforter off of me two observe two large yellow spots that were not even laundered. When I went over to the couch there was also a crunchy stain on the pillow. We usually go down to get breakfast around 8:00. Literally all they had there was sausage powdered eggs and waffles. No cereal no fruit no juice. I want to know what happened to my little hotel. At least the night worker that we love so much is still there. I don't usually leave bad reviews and this particular hotel means a lot to our mental health as a getaway. Will we come back? Of course. Will I say something to them when I'm there if I see it again? definitely.
