This was one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything you could think of was dirty or not maintained. The pool had gobs of hair floating in it. The property has not been maintained. It is going through a remodel, but this will not matter if they don’t clean it on a regular basis and let it deteriorate to unhealthy levels.

Big spacious room designed for ADA. Nice try though a bit short. Tub had no seat and had a fairly tall step. Material positioned outside the main entrance was an indicator of planned renovations. Location was quiet though close to I-90. Convenient for our purpose though pricey considering the breakfast quality and the condition of the room. Room was clean though dated and showing signs of wear. Towel hook was pulled off the bathroom door. Shower head flange ring was not tight against the wall. Weak flushing toilet clogged though was quickly repaired by staff. Some coat hangers were missing cross bars. Breakfast was adequate though a bit spartan. Coffee station was located in the lobby for the breakfast room. Eggs, sausage links waffles and some fruit - bananas and apples.

Upon opening room door, found room pitch dark due to closed curtains and very warm due to the air turned off. Room was dated, with musty smell, as did the outside hallway.
Large leather chair upholstery had tears and peeling cracks. Bathroom toilet was missing a seat attachment cap, with area filled with pink mildew. Kleenex box was empty, and window lock latch was broken. Only positive thing was the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, I would not stay at The Baymont again.

Our room 322 had a really strong terrible chemical smell.
The bathroom was very dirty.
The cleaner came in every day but all they done was replenish the little shampoo and soap.
Tried to speak to the front desk but they couldn’t understand and just shrugged their shoulders.
As far as the included breakfast is concerned it was very underwhelming.
We should have realized it wouldn’t be a good experience when we pulled up in the parking lot and saw a big garbage bin for of old mattresses and junk. I’m sure that could get rid of the bin as soon as it was full.

Pros: The room was nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable. I walked to and from downtown but it's a fair ways so make sure you check the map. The front desk staff was fantastic. Lots of parking. Cons: The hallway smelled, breakfast was honestly gross (and it took 3 visits before they had eggs and sausages and waffle batter, sadly one bite of eggs and I threw the plate away) - might be the worst hotel breakfast I've had in ages. Homeless hanging around the building. And my biggest issue, the door to my room didn't have a good seal (You could see an inch of light coming through the bottom), so between that and thin walls, I got about 3 hours of sleep due to hearing my neighbors talking and moving around constantly. For the location, it was the cheapest place within walking distance of downtown.

First of all the first front dest guy was awesome.
But they put us in a room directly below a room being renovated. We had to listen to a nail gun above our bed for the first four hours we were they. We came to relax during a road trip not go out so this was disappointing. Also the hot tub was non operational, also a bummer since that's why we booked there. It looked like they hadbt even cleaned as one of the toilet paper rolls was empty upon our arrival. Great location but thats about all I can say. Won't be staying here on the way back.

Very rundown property.

The ac unit was ancient, it had buttons and dials from the 80s no reference to the temperature

Paint smeared on the old rubber baseboard. Paint drips on the bathroom tile floor.

Dirty comforter on the bed. (Dirt smudges)

On a good note, the carpet was new, and there was a dumpster in the parking lot full of old beds and carpet. So hopefully there is an update in full swing.

So we’ve stated this hotel multiple times usually it’s great this time. Their hot tub wasn’t working fine. We can look past that but then we went to use the bathroom and shut the door and the body length mirror fell off the door and shattered. I sliced my finger open, trying to clean it up and when we let the hotel staff know, they decided to charge us $500 and had to sit and talk to them and still inevitably had to pay for a new mirror which cost me $300 for no reason so we left early because they suck and that old dude who works there in the morning if you’re staying, there is the biggest rudest man I’ve ever met in my life

A pinch of shampoo is all you get for a 2 night stay. Vending machines didn’t work! Literally nothing of the reason I booked this stay worked! Horrible. Waste of money. I wish I went with the other options in town for my stay for the same value because this was a complete disaster. Couldn’t sleep due to the fact the people above me were super loud all night. I didn't have a problem with anything but the vending machines. My card stopped working once and had to get it fixed ( not a big deal) however I know their housekeepers do not clean good or depend on what it was not at all. Bathroom smelled like urine because they obviously dont bleach the floor. Which makes me question their cleaning of everything else dont feel they clean properly at all but theyre friendly. Its definitely something management needs to address and as a painter their walls look horrible which i know gives off dump or trashy as the first thought that comes to mind . The place desperately needs to be maintained better orher that that it was great. No complaints at all

This was the grossest hotel room I have stayed in. Room was non-smoking but smelled of stale smoke, but even worse, the bathroom absolutely reeked of pee and the floors were so sticky we never took our shoes off. We had to lather up in sunscreen (that's the only lotion we had) before bed so we couldn't smell the pee while we were trying to fall asleep. I'm pretty sure a pet (or person?) peed all over the walls and tile grout or else they hadn't cleaned in weeks. It would have been zero stars even if it had been $100, but we actually paid $200 for one night. I've never felt so ripped off in my life.

We recently stayed at Baymont by Wyndham Coeur D’Alene and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The hotel did not feel clean overall. The floors and carpets were dirty, and the room did not appear to be properly maintained before our arrival. We also did not have enough toilet paper or towels in the room, which was inconvenient and frustrating.

In addition, the customer service was not very helpful or welcoming when we brought up concerns. We understand hotels can get busy, but basic cleanliness and guest support should still be a priority.

The location is convenient, but the condition of the hotel and the service did not meet our expectations. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the experience for future guests.

Before I start with my honest review I have been a housekeeper for hotels/str for 10 years I want to say beware the pool has jagged tiles/thick chipped paint my 6yo sliced two of her toes on the stairs to the pool and I was made aware this is not the first incident.
Breakfast was minimal but covered the basic options, staff was overall friendly, other than the woman who checked us in she didn't give us the run down of info regarding breakfast, internet or inform us of a 50$ deposit but we figured it out we stayed two sperate nights on our way to Roundup MT and back. The hotel it's self was outdated and needed some remodeling but was fine our first room was clean but once I pulled back our bedding on one of our two queen beds their was some debris staff quickly fixed the issue. Our second night their was a spill of juice or some type of sticky juice on the wall and in my sister's room one of the two rolls of TP was left completely empty down to the cardboard and the bathroom mirror was dirty with toothpaste. I am not a picky individual but I would say I was not to impressed with my stay and for the price point I expected better

The TV did not function, the unfortunate desk clerk had the same issue with at least 3 other rooms. After trying multiple remote controls, he finally had to actualy change out the TV.

Which leads us to the only bright spot, the desk clerk. He was unfailingly cheerful and helpful despite all the issues the facility presented him with. 5 stars for him! No stars for the hotel. Don't book here!

We have stayed 3 times now, as the hotel is great for our needs. It's clean, has a pool, hot tub, abd a basic breakfast to send us on our way. If youre looking for high end then you will probably find faults, but if you need a clean, quiet, inexpensive place to rest and relax, with meal to get you headed out, then we highly recommend this place. Breakfast has scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, fruit, waffles, coffee. New mattresses were being placed the first week of Nay, 2026. We had a king suite that was very comfortable, huge amount of room, frig and mic, huge shower, table and chairs, and a comfy overstuffed chair and basic. Only complaint is no electric doors to help getting suitcases through doors, but very few hotels do.

Hot tub quit working after a few minutes. No iron, just an ironing board. Ran out of facial tissue in bathroom. Heater thermostat didn't work, had to shut completely off until room got too cold and had to turn back on. No blankets, kind of thick sheets....very uncomfortable. Pillows were awesome though. Towels seemed very stiff and were not soft at all.
A nice blanket, soft towels and a good running heater could go a long way towards making the stay much more comfortable.
Breakfast was very good and fresh tasting. Hot food hot, cold food cold.
Overall, I would consider staying again. I would just check on the above items immediately to be sure everything had been upgraded.
