Great staff and location. the room wasn’t anything special but was clean and well maintained. For the price and location this is an amazing option
Frank
Great location!!
Ronald
Very nice motel. Right in downtown!
Eric
Perfect location. Pleasant staff.
Jessica
Beds were comfortable and loved that you didn't have to use a key card. Perfectly located to walk to all downtown amenities of shops, restaurants and bars. The only negative I have is the parking lot is small which made it very difficult when parking a truck.
Jill
Super comfy beds!!
Stephanie
This is a motel in the heart of downtown and great for a night. Comfortable mattress, clean room, though rough around the edges. I’d stay there again for the convenience.
Tara
So this property said access to lake but access was nine blocks. The carpet in our room was very stained very gross. Old building not what we were expecting.
rene
Great location, clean, comfortable at a really good price. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see/do and free parking.
Daniel
Super easy to check in/out. Easy to park, room was clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Right in the center of town.
Todd Fidone Debi
Clean, close to waterfront activites, an abundance of quaint, unique shops, eateries and city center. Fair pricing for the area. Staff was relaxingly helpful & friendly. Adequate, safe parking. I'll definitely be adding Resort City Inn Coeur d'Alene into my travel folder and will utilize when in town.
Roderick
It was reasonably priced, acceptable condition and downtown. I'm Coure d'elene that's tough to find.
Caitlin
Dog friendly. Clean. Great location
Andrew
Older style hotel with outside-facing rooms. Our room was 1 st floor in a shady corridor so room was kinda dark. Can’t beat it for access to downtown restaurants and shops, lake.
Sharyn
Cannot beat the location. It's a bit dated but was a comfortable stay
Donna
The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. The only complaint that we have is that they call themselves a hotel, and they are a motel. Also they offer a continental breakfast, but what is offered is protein bars, which if you leave before 9:00 you are not able to access, because the office is not open. A continental breakfast is usually fruit and rolls.
Cindy
Convenient to downtown and all the shops and restaurants,
Jessica
Great staff. We checked in at one am and the gentleman at the desk was very helpful.
Amazing restaurants and area.
I would suggest avoiding a room next to the pool though. It was horribly loud.

Great location, walk to everything downtown, good parking, AC worked great. Will be back next time we’re in Cour d’Alene.
Susan
The property was in a great location - walkable to shopping and restaurants.
Amanda
Great stay! A little older motel but very clean and fresh rooms with good AC. Awesome location and comfortable beds.
Tammy
That bed was amazing! Quiet property that was perfect location to everything. Would definitely go back!
Tyrell
Weird smell, lots of stains, unique lighting situations
Caprice
The property was perfect! I was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants.
Steven
Motel is dated but was clean and comfortable. Great location right in downtown with a short walk to lots of restaurants. Front desk is open for very limited hours. I checked in late after the front desk was closed and received a combination code for a lockbox to get my room key. This was no issue for me, but I could see that if you had any issues with your booking it could be more of a hassle.
Jerome
Staff was very good and we were given clear instructions on where to get the key because we were arriving about 9pm. The room seemed very clean except there were some very large stains on the carpet near the front door, other than this the room appeared to be clean. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows.
Sarie
It is clean, but otherwise it’s dated. The mattress is old and the walls are paper thin. Very disappointing.
Courtney
Perfect budget spot in CDA, within walking distance to everything downtown. Clean. Thoughtful amenities. Friendly staff.
Cristina
It was very clean and comfortable, parking was a bit of an issue , but other than that it was good
April
Nice property and walking distance to great shops, food and boardwalk
Scott
Staff was very friendly. Packing is a little tight for a full size pickup truck.

Richard
I' m not gonna lie...this is an older property and won't have the high end amenities. But it seems very well run and kept up. The room was very clean and , the plus for us, everything is within walking distance. I recommend this for budget and accomadationability. ( like that word ? I just made it up)
Debra
Parking was easy. Right along the Main Street and was easy to get to shops, restaurants and Coeur d'Alene resort amenities and lake.
Room was comfortable and had all the basic amenities. First floor was easy to access from parking and sidewalk. Has a vintage vibe.

Tyler
Door knob was broken and literally hanging off the door, door key barely worked to unlock the door and you couldn't lock the dead bolt with the key. The entire floor was soaking wet to the point we couldn't even walk around in socks, The bed was clean but we paid WAY to much for a room in this condition.
Brooke
Construction happening across the street and they started working at 7 am. Very good location for walking to businesses downtown. Rooms were a little small, but fine for what we needed. Beds were comfortable. Safe neighborhood.
marla
Nice and quiet yet centrally located
Charles
Excellent budget motel — and a stones throw from downtown, the lake, the best cafes, coffee shops and dining options,
Arley
Great location. Comfortable
Casey
This is where we stay whenever we are in North Idaho. It is right downtown. We can walk downtown in about a minute, five minutes to the waters edge. Restraints and pubs in a two minute walk.
Meagan
This was a perfect location for walking around downtown! Would absolutely stay again.

room was very clean , no water pressure in shower left a day early
Rachelle
Clean, quiet, and attention to details. They provided makeup wipes, hand sanitizers, homemade soaps. They even had a makeup vanity mirror. For the price you wouldn't expect those little touches. My king bed even had 5 pillows!
Hollie
My little girl and I had so much fun! The room was clean, the staff was super friendly and check in and check out were super quick & easy. We were within walking distance of everything and we had a keurig with hot cocoa & coffee. My little girl loved the cocoa and having her own big girl bed. She referred to our room as our \"little house\". :) We would happily stay again!

These reviews from other guests are definitely over exaggerating .. hotel was cozy quiet actually too quiet for me lol not a soul outside not even a patrol car was seen or heard the whole night I’m a 3rd shifter I was outside multiple times throughout the night . The daytime and evening hours yes it’s busy with traffic in the area my specific location in the motel was very quiet maybe if youre at the very end by the intersection I could have a different experience. But bi way is it loud after 8/10 pm everything was quiet. Mt room was in very good condition. Clean lots of light ceiling fan too which was my favorite part lol the bee was extremely comfortable price was reasonable and for the area it was a steal . The staff two women in the mirynf super nice and the young man that checked me in very polite and accommodating. I had zero issues with my stay only thing I was satisfied with was nor having an area for pets on the property but it’s location placement is y that’s not possible which is understandable and not a big deal there’s a nice lot of grass with across the street. And I preferred a tub but also NOT a big deal . Over all 9/10 for me and my zl bully and chihuahua who just laid in bed the whole night and snored lolll so I’m guessing the bed was comfortable for them too . Very clean nothing loose or broken local small business has complimented homemade cold pressed soap for the guests nice coffee maker tv was small but I don’t watch much tv anyways lol
Robert
The room (109) was very cramped, especially the bathroom. It claimed to be wheelchair accessible but it definitely does not qualify as such. Bathroom was super small, no hand bars and sink was not regulated for wheel chair use. I am not in a chair but felt really cramped! Couldn’t leave door open to let out steam but open window looked into an office building.
My biggest complaint was how loud the refrigerator was, we ended up unplugging it because it was very loud and right next to bed. The heater was also extremely loud and occasionally blew out cool air. The second night I turned it off because it was right next the second bed. The noise made it difficult to relax.
I’ve stayed at Resort City Inn several times over the years. This was my last time, it feels like it has gone downhill.

Great location to downtown clean and friendly service
Phaedra
Great location and very friendly staff
Lisa
Close to town. Property rely safe and was clean. Would definitely stay again.
Laura
Quiet location in the heart of downtown
Kurt
This is a motel that has been upgraded to a hotel.
Sheena
Located right in downtown, very convenient. The downside was parking, for a larger vehicle is difficult.
Christopher
Nice place, staff and very clean. In good shape. Our carpet was pretty wet and smelled like shampoo. I think they recently cleaned them and didn't give it a chance to dry out the way.
SHERI
We loved this hotel…we parked right in front of our room and loved the location.
Tim
Nice place
Place was nice. The rooms are on the smaller side. Easy access to town. Ice machine is tiny, bring your own if you have a cooler.
Mandy
Great location, downtown area completely walkable.
Susan
Old-school motel
We chose this motel for the location. We wanted to be able to walk to dinner and it was ideal. This is an old-school motel. Beds were comfy, AC worked, parking sufficient. No frills but perfect for our needs.
Stephanie
Property was very dated with no improvements; Smelled like urine outside along sidewalk; Room carpet was gross looking - stained, permanently dirty look; The bed/mattress was uncomfortable; Toilet & sink counter were uncomfortably short; There was a sign on bathroom door saying that the smoke alarm could go off if you took too hot of a shower & the steam went out; The bathroom didn’t have a fan & the door took brute strength to close/open; The noise from other units using the bathroom and showering was significant. Experiencing all of this made the nightly cost ridiculous. Had we known all this we would’ve paid a little more for quality lodging. All this said, the counter person was friendly and the location was very convenient.
Kristina
Our room was very very loud with lots of people outside of it, smoking and talking until around 3:30 AM. Lots of cars revving engines.
Laura
Close and Clean
This motel is within walking distance to everything. Very clean and friendly service. The only negative was the bed. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable.
This is not an \"upscale\" hotel but it is perfect for people who want a clean room, close to everything and friendly service at a great price! I would recommend but just know the mattress was not the most comfortable.

Older property but clean . Friendly staff. Great location with walk ability to downtown and the water.

Great locations and very comfy restored older motel.

Would stay again
Nice and comfortable. Front desk was super nice and the location is perfect. It’s a motel. Not fancy but clean and comfy beds. So better then 400 a night at a chain hotel.
Jeremy
Nice motel style place downtown
Richard
I liked the property overall but when they advertise pet friendly there should be facilities onsite for pets.
It was a shot walk to pet friendly parks etc. but nothing onsite for the late night potty break!
Location is awesome and hotel is well taken care of older hotel. Would recommend

Great location - Walk to breakfast at \"Bakery by the Bay\" and many dining options. Walk to parks and CDA Resort. Adequate walled off parking. Very clean with new appliances. Friendly staff. Office only open from 11AM to 7PM. Quiet, powerful air conditioning in July. Great to walk around even with high temps in the 80's.

Comfortable beds, soft towels & linens. In the middle of everything downtown, shopping, dining & a store across the street. Coffee shop & bakery 1 blk away.

The room was clean. It was a close walk to downtown.

Motel was right in the heart of town, which allowed close ability to shop and eat all within walking distance. We like the fact that they are not charging parking any longer! This motel is clean, large rooms and comfy beds. We will be back.

We stayed here one night on a road trip. Cute place! Don't underestimate the outside. This place had everything we needed and the nicest staff ever. Clean room and comfy beds. Great location near the park, lake and downtown. We were able to walk everywhere. Highly recommend.
