The location for the price can’t be beat. We watched the 4th of July parade from out front, walking distance to downtown, city beach, the resort, Tubbs Hill and great shops and food. The parking was convenient and plentiful. There was a cute yard and comfortable seating area to relax outside in the beautiful Idaho summer weather. Jackie and Jen were amazing and friendly. Jackie went out of her way to make us feel at home and offered a friendly greeting whenever she was around.

I stayed here as the basecamp for my first Ironman 70.3 experience, and it was the perfect location. The double queen room was charming and well appointed, with a walk-in shower, refrigerator, free Wi-Fi, and Roku TV. It was clean and well-maintained with a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. The only drawback was the lack of a workstation/task chair (or any kind of seating outside of the beds) so any work had to be done sitting in bed. (They do make the office area available for use if you make arrangements with them, as the office is not staffed regularly.) It's a fully online experience in that check-in/out is handled via text and there is no daily housekeeping service, but you can get additional items if needed via text. We had no issues with that during our stay.

The hotel is in walking distance of several good diners and restaurants and about .75 miles from the main downtown area of Coeur d'Alene, as well as a couple of nice city parks, the Lake, and Tubbs Hill. It was so nice to be able to walk everywhere we wanted to go downtown and was perfect for race day without having to worry about parking. Even with both the Ironman 70.3 and Car d'Alene going on that weekend, the price was very reasonable. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

The rooms are updated, cute and very comfortable. I loved the soft linens and bedding! If you like to walk, this location is great for a beautiful stroll to town for meals and shopping. (I recommend that you take E Front Ave. behind the property, to stay off of the busy road.) Speaking of busy roads, the motel is a bit on the noisy side because of being on a heavily traveled road to town. If you are not sensitive to noise, you'll be fine, if you are—bring earplugs. Also, the parking spots are tight so you may want to park on the road if you don’t have a compact car. That said, I’m looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Located close enough but far enough away from downtown to enjoy all that Coeur d'Alene has to offer. Clean comfortable rooms. I slept like a baby on the memory foam beds. There isn't any sort of on-site check-in or office (they text a code for entry to your room prior to arrival) but that didn't hamper the experience. Would stay there again without hesitation. As other reviews shared, this place is perfect for the solo traveler that just needs a place to rest their head at night.

Parking was a little tight. Check in was super easy and convenient. Everything was very clean except for the coffee machine which could use a good clean. The softest sheets I've ever slept on! Air conditioning was ok, although it kept kicking off and it got hot real quick. Doors and walls are super thin so we could hear everyone outside. Some blackout curtains would be nice to keep the light out as it pours out the sides of the roller curtain.

Very nice property; would stay again. We were driving a suburban and pulling a trailer and had to park on the street but that wasn't an issue. A fun place within walking distance down the street to have lunch/dinner and a breakfast place across the street from that.

The comfort and cleanliness of the room was awesome. Everything was updated, and the amenities were there. We were in room 13, which is the corner room. It was quiet, and access to the room was possible from both the back parking and the front parking lots. The messages in the hotel room were a pleasant reminder after spending hours on a long car ride.

My only concern is the keypad on the door. Great idea in theory, but not great in practice. It took us multiple tries to get into our room , even with the instructions. Management is offsite, but they are prompt and responsive to calls and texts. We will stay here again on our next trip to CDA.

Booked a room for the 3 of us and arrived to find that the “double” fold out sofa was too small for any of us to lie on without our feet hanging over the edge. We contacted Jen who brought us a foam mattress, so my daughter ended up sleeping on the floor. Our “city view” was a tiny window that overlooked the back driveway. Internet connection was very slow, I struggled to do mobile banking and we were unable to watch anything on the smart tv in the room. The floor was dirty, the bottoms of our socks turned black from walking around the room. AC was too loud to keep on overnight so we opened the tiny window and slept in stuffiness.

Pros: the bed was comfortable and the Keurig machine made decent coffee.

This room would be best suited to a couple just needing a basic place to sleep. As a family of 3, we struggled to be comfortable here.

Great little motel on the main road and less than a mile from the resort, shopping area, with plenty of dining and drinking options. Coffee shops, breakfast, bike rentals, and ice cream shops within a short walk. Rooms are remodeled with cozy & comfortable beds. Nice outdoor space for visiting.

Only drawback is with being so close to everything you have more traffic nose during busy times and we unfortunately had inconsiderate occupants next door to us that were talking from 2:00 am to 3:30 am right outside our door.

Worth it!

The single room was definitely teeny tiny, BUT it was just over $100 (after taxes), very clean, up to date and comfortable. Walking to the downtown (I prefer taking the residential streets - pretty homes and lanscaping), is a short 15 minute walk. My family of 4 have stayed in a different end room with more windows and space, and that was lovely, also. But for one person, this works!

Not modern but very kept up. Extremely clean! Bed was comfortable, a little bit soft; bathroom was small but adequate; great water pressure and plenty of hot water for the shower; Keurig coffee maker with choices of coffee and flavors of creamers; on Sherman St and very close to downtown shops and restaurants. Could have used a floor lamp back by the chair if you like to sit and read. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

The cutest motel room I have probably ever stayed in. The room had home like touches that were very appreciated and rarely seen! Very clean! Not a speck of dirt any where and they don’t use typical hotel smelling laundry detergent. If you have a stay here, you will know what I mean when you smell the towels. So refreshing. I will definitely be staying here again for my business trips to CDA.

Clean great bed- one of the most comfortable ever. Loved the keyless entry. Plaster walls made it very quiet- could not hear the neighbors at all. Completely renovated rooms. Shower had unlimited hot water. Across the street from “Jimmys down the Street” restaurant— a Diner Drive in and Dive from Guy Fieri. Extremely affordable. Not a big room but all a traveler could want. Will definitely stay here again. Loved it.

A nice short work trip on a Monday night to Wednesday morning. Think there was 1-2 other guests staying those nights but didn't hear them - super quiet hotel. Newly redone Motel/Hotel with laminate floors, new shower, hip decor inside and code lock for the door which is nice for those arriving late and don't need to worry about 'check in' at a desk. Close to some bars and downtown is a 5 min drive.

This place is so perfect! Reasonable prices. This was important because I was traveling with my 48 year old son and didn't really want to share a room with him. It's a no frills property but we only used the room for showers and sleeping. The location was perfect for us. I had read reviews about the TV access being limited but I didn't find that to be true.

I can't say enough about Jen (the contact person)and Sabrina (the housekeeper). They were superb!

There were fires north of the area and I was concerned that our flights may be cancelled or delayed due to the smoke. Jen was available to help just in case. I personally love this type of motel because it feels friendly and I never get lost like in the big ones with elevators. Oh and my rental car was right in front of my room. LOL

Nicely re-done motel. It was in a quiet area- walkable to the lake and downtown restaurants. The only down side was the thin walls- but luckily all the people staying were nice and respectful so it didn't bother us too much. The air conditioner was super loud- but not much that can be done about that either- at least there was air conditioning!
