Do not book this motel. Pictures make it appear decent for someone wanting to save a little money. We checked into our room and had dirty sheets, towels stains on the carpet along with a dirty smell. We asked for refund and they only refunded 2 of the 3 nights because we didn’t cancel in time. We told them we should get full refund due to motel not being clean and that we tried checking in and even moving to a different room. Staff told us they shouldn’t have refunded any of our stay. Front desk is a virtual check in box. Don’t recommend, you will be very disappointed if you even give it a try. I spent more money finding another hotel and Rodeway not refunding. Poor service all around.

First off, check in was with a robot. Not a person. Then he gave me 2 blank keys, which made me think they could go to any door. Room was NOT clean, just picked up. Bed was dirty but made. Burn hole in the comforter and cut marks. Booked a non-smoking room and got a heavy smoked in room. Ash tray by the TV and one between the 2 beds. Mini fridge looked worse then one from a yard sale and possibly d thawed at some point because underneath was a puddle of water.

WiFi internet disconnects every 2-3 hours and requires you to sign in again. Laundry across the street. I was here 2 weeks and housekeeping never showed up and marked “no service” when I requested it multiple times. Room was a no smoking room but stunk like a casino. Cigarette holes in the sheets. Sheets were dirty. Sink drained to a trash can. Floors were dirty and under the bed was filfthy

Everything was great, just remember that you get what you pay for. This was a great place for a great deal. The only thing that bothered me was someone staying in a room nearby with a truck that was a lot louder than it should be, but that wasn't the hotel's fault.

No staff to greet you on arrival. A kiosk with someone you can’t hear or understand is no substitute for a smile and welcome. The room was cold with dirty and stained floors. The shower safety bar was missing. Someone left a long black hair in the shower. I don’t travel with hangers so I wasn’t able to hang anything up. Not even a wire hanger in the closet. Had to listen to the TV next door all evening. At least their conversation gave us something to chat about.

Check in was with a person on a virtual kiosk. We arrived 1.25 hours early and they wanted a fee to check in. We said no and did other things. The room is a bit rough. Nobody on site in case you need anything. One man waited 24 hours to get on WiFi. Our tv needed resetting every ten minutes just to watch anything and the bed was inches from the heater blowing air on the person in bed all night. Floors are sticky. If you think it is nice there is a fridge and stove, there are no utensils, pots, plates, or anything.

Rooms are filthy. The toilets have not been cleaned, theres literally poop stains in the bowl. I stayed there a while back and found blood smeared on the sheets. When i brought it to the managers attention he said he had an issue with his house keeper. Well a year later she still works there. The last 3 times i stayed. i had to have my room changed due to the smell of body oder blood on the sheets and the tvs not working properly. The bed spreads are old and stained. This place needs to be updated and thoroughly cleaned. You should expect some level of standard even from a hole in the wall motel. Theres plenty of options in the area chose one of them instead

Had to leave early. Only stayed the one night because it was so late after leaving scarywood, and didn't want to try and find another hotel in the dark and so late. Rouches. A lot of them in our room. When we originally tried to check in, it was standard check in times. There wasn't a real person there. It was all over the kiosks. Then, our door lock on the room was out of batteries and we couldn't get in. After trying 3 different times with a new key every time, and going back to the kiosks guy, explaining again 3 times times what was going on, we finally got assigned a new room. After finally getting into the room, it appeared very nice and clean. With the acception of some updates of the kitchen. Warped and broken countertops, a smoke detector down, just little things that just need a little work. But then when we got back from scarywood and I opened the fridge door, a huge rough came out of nowhere. And then several others. In total between the dead ones in the drawers and the live ones crawling out on the counters and walls we saw 10 different rouches. That's just the ones we saw. We ended up checking out in the morning and finding a different place to stay. Over all not a good experience while trying to keep a good attitude. Thankfully it didn't take away from our overall trip experience outside of the hotel.

Very nice. Only complaint would be that the internet was not very good, it would go in and out. Nice comfortable beds, good size fridge, and a nice desk with a chair, as well as a microwave. No bath, but the washroom was big and the room was spacious as well. Tv was ancient, but no one really cared and we didn’t bother trying to make it work when it just came on blank. Pro tip; close the bathroom door at night and you won’t be disturbed by the sounds of water.

“Virtual Check-In” was beyond terrible! Couldn’t understand the guy on the other end. The only amenities the place had was a drink machine. Room smelled of smoke and was last updated in 1969. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work. There was no staff anywhere. AC only worked on high. Heat had no fan. Pool was a bright green color. Im guessing if you went in you would come out with some disease unknown to man. Beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend staying as far away from this place as possible.

Room needed so much maintenance. One bedframe had nearly fallen apart, the microwave was missing parts, lots of water damage in bathroom. Expedia says they have breakfast; they don’t. Worst were the cheap mattresses and pillows combined with curtains that didn’t block the building lights well at all. Haven’t slept so badly for a long time.

They didn’t give us enough towels for the first day and refused to give us more. Then on the second day housekeeping took our old towels, without replacing them—leaving us with no towels. They also didn’t clean the room. They just came in and stole the limited towels we had. When I went to the front desk, there was no front desk person, except a virtual front desk person who couldn’t help us. He said someone would come and bring us towels and clean the room at 7pm. No one showed up. I had Expedia try to get us help and they couldn’t help us, either. I asked for a refund and the hotel refused and Expedia refused. Besides all that, there were drunk people outside our room in the parking lot, screaming all night and people up all night in the room above us—screaming and stomping. There were sirens all the time like it was the bad side of town. It felt unsafe. I’ll never stay there again or trust another Expedia reservation.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned. There was an old towel, hair accessories and used shampoo and soup in the shower/bathroom from previous guests. There was not a battery in the smoke detector. The carpet with stained and gross. It seemed that the hotel was being remodeled and some rooms were not in the same state that ours were. When we mentioned these things to the staff at check out, they did not apologize. They just said \"thank you for letting us know.\" I will never stay at a Rodeway Inn again. I possibly won't use hotels.com again. The pictures of the room and hotel did not match AT ALL the reality of the hotel and room we were given.

In our 3 day stay, room service came by our room once and didn’t clean our room. In fact, they just took our soap and towels and didn’t replace them. We asked for towels and toilet paper multiple times at the “front desk” (just a virtual kiosk of someone not on site), but we never got any. Had to end up buying toilet paper ourselves. On top of that, the toilet was wobbly and constantly trickled. Only ever saw a real member of staff a single time while there, and it was when checking out

Check in was via kiosk. Wasnt loud enough to hear. Had to keep asking him to repeat himself. Was not very helpful with amentied hotel may have offered. House keepers were very respectful and polite. Bed was lumpy but doable. Loud music was played from 0640am to 2200 at night. Carpet was stained. Paint peeling off door but wasnt expecting much just wanted a comfortable bed and a hot shower. Not worth the price

The hotel is not white as it shows on the website it’s blue. Outside the building is really dirty with lots of cigarettes thrown everywhere. Stairs are really really dirty. There should be some time taken to clean them and make them look more professional. There’s lots of people smoking and drinking outside the rooms. Beds are not made as other hotels if you stay more than 1 night and rooms are not cleaned either.

Good room for the cost

The room was certainly big enough. It had a full kitchen, but I know that not all of the rooms do. It has been updated, not sure when, though. I didn't get the chance to enjoy or see the pool as I was too busy working until late at night. I did NOT appreciate the virtual receptionist. It was weird and awkward, and I like to chat with the receptionist when I get to a new area to find out about good restaurants in the area (from a local and not someone in a call center), find out about local attractions, etc. I would, however, stay here again.

The room was very clean and the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Check in kiosk was very difficult. Could not understand the person talking to me on the screen at all. Eventually got through it by guessing what he was trying to say. The siding of both buildings is coming off and the building looks derelict from the outside. Rooms were spartan. No closet or rod or hangers for hanging clothes. Shampoo supplied but no conditioner or lotion. No hair dryer. The kitchen has no pots/pans, dishes, utensils at all. Had to go to a store and buy microwavable bowl to use microwave. There was a drawer missing in the kitchen. Not worth the extra money to get a room with a kitchen. No breakfast served, no coffee maker, Bed was OK but not the most comfortable one I have ever slept on. Internet access OK. Will never stay here again.

First room smelled of heavy smoke. Had them switch us to non smoking room. The room had no amenities. No hangers for clothes, no iron, no hair drier, one small table. Door had to be pushed hard to open. Still had faint smell of smokers. Refrigerator ran off and on all night. Toilet was loose and rocked side to side. Very disappointed. Hard to find these things out on line. Will never stay at Rodeway in again.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE we have ever had in a hotel! First off, we booked multiple rooms for our family and half of our group was leaving later and wouldn’t be able to make it before 10pm or so. RIGHT AFTER we booked the rooms we called just to make sure they had late check in-we were told no. The person on the phone told us if they didn’t check in by 10pm they couldn’t check in at all (which did seem weird, but it is what we were told when we called the hotel directly) so we made arrangements and moved some things around to ensure everyone would be there by 10. Our first group arrived to the hotel only to see a HUGE 24 hour check in sign at the entrance! I will say the man at the front desk who checked us in was nice and helpful.

But unfortunately it just got worse from there. The rooms were absolutely disgusting, both showers had gobs of caulk to fix cracks, which was all brown and dirty, holes in the walls, shower heads falling out, etc. Never got new or clean towels. The rooms smelled so musty and gross. The doors do not shut securely, very sketchy people hanging around all hours. The room next to ours had people in and out each night, we were not able to get ANY sleep. The room next to us was so loud and we could hear VERY inappropriate situations ALL NIGHT. We had kids with us who were so uncomfortable and scared, it was DISGUSTING to have to hear that. We didn’t feel safe and wouldn’t recommend. If we had a choice we should’ve packed up and left as quickly as possible!

By far… the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. Was looking for something cheap and convenient, just in town for a few hour evening event. Spend the extra money to get a cleaner stay. It is so obvious they haven’t even swept or mopped the floors in a very long time. A drop of water gets on the floor and it turns to mud. The counters have dirt and crap all over them, we had to lay towels down to set stuff on the counter.

After checking in, I went to the assigned room. On opening the door it was full of beer cans and unmade beds. When I went back to the office 4 minutes later, the clerk leaned over the registration desk, and yelled in my face that I had made the mess. Absolutely insane.

Also, the Internet does not work except at a slow crawl if at all. The rooms are fairly large. The room they eventually gave me also had not been thoroughly cleaned.

We rented 2 rooms w/ 2 adults and 4 kids. They have the center doors to have adjoined rooms. We got rooms on separate floors, which seems absolutely ridiculous for a reservation of 2 rooms with 4 KIDS. I asked about this but was told this is where your rooms were assigned.
We made it work because it was already after 9pm and a day at Silverwood, so kids were exhausted.
Our tub had a giant line of caulk to \"fix\" a hole and a seperate hole that was unfixed.
The shelf in the sink area /closet was bowed so far in the middle it was completely unusable and left no room for the now missing closet rod.
The absolute worst part was the door at been clearly kicked in at somw point and there was NO wood jamb assisting holding the door closed just the metal catch. The doors are exterior access, meaning there was no \"extra\" security of the hotel halls. On the day after a firefighter Ambush in your town. We deserved a room that at least locked securely. Never have i been so misguided by expedia room ratings.

My only complaint was not having more than 2 towels for 4 guests. I requested towels and never got them to the room. I waited for a while and then had to go about my day and there were no additional towels upon return.

Horrible! Checked in, took forever and extremely bad customer service. Finally got our room. Stairs to our room where blocked off by pallets, had to walk all the way around the building (that was down the block from the main hotel mind you) opened the door, room had not been cleaned, garbage still in the room, someone had recently been sleeping on the bed, bathroom a mess, etc. Went straight down to the office to cancel our stay. Staff would not allow me to speak to the manager, or refund stay or discount or any kind reconciliation gesture. Health and safetly violations eveywhere, ot what is advertised when reservations where made at all. Extremely upset 😡

The hotel manager was great. I was unaware that I had booked a smoking room. There were plenty of non-smoking rooms available at the hotel, but hotels.com would not allow the manager or me to change my stay to a non-smoking room. Extremely disappointing as I was not given any option to cancel the reservation and book somewhere else. It was not comfortable being in a smoking room as the smell of smoke permeates everything in the room. I will never book with hotels.com again.

The room stunk like old rotten bleach rags, the TV didn't work.and the shower was not working. I talked to the manager and he said there was nothing he could do for me I had to have my sister pick me up and my brother in law to bring me back to check out without speaking to the actual manager. I had to speak to a kiosk screen to a woman who claimed to be from another country and seemed AI generated. I'm hoping I'm out the money for this stay that was a disaster and Expedia will make sure I'm not ripped off. Wish I would have taken pictures.

Everything was done on a computer, no actual people working. We had only 1 towel in our room. I spilled water on the floor when I went to wipe it up the cloth came up black, floor filthy.. P Tec unit didn’t work properly with the thermostat. Jets didn’t work properly in the hot tub. When we left again no human in office…

Room was clean enough. Kitchenette was lacking any useful amenities, only offered plastic drink cups, no coffee maker, dishes, cookware only a microwave. Fridge was excellent. Outside not well kept.

I had to leave a review it was too bad

Had to sleep in my car the room was so bad. They fingerprinted me at the kiosk-no people at the ofice. Strong odor was burning my eyes. Took the sheets off because of red stains. Skin was itching on the bed. People loitering outside. Thumping from the 2nd floor. Not exaggerating. Its that trashy. Didn't feel safe or comfortable. Wish I had spent the extra 10 bucks for Beymount.

Bed had French fries on it's garbage wasn't taken out dirty towel and open soap on the counter and the bathtub drain had a large amount of hair in it and no ash trays for being a smoking room
