The bathroom had damages. The walls were scratched and had holes in the paint. The shower floor was very slippery and I was afraid I was going to fall. The bathroom floor was also slippery when wet. The step into the room from the outside was too high and I actually fell, which required the fire service to come and help me get up.

This was a very cozy comfortable and spacious room. Quite outside during sleeping hours. Nice hot shower and Shana was a sweetheart. Buzz was an adorable small lap dog, but be careful as he’s a great watchdog. He’ll lick you to death.
I highly recommend staying at this establishment.

I was double billed for my stay. Once by expedia and once by the Silver Lakes Inn.

This doesn't pass the smell test. Seems like fraud is everywhere these days.

Many potholes filled with water. Unable to tell depth. People parked in front of my room. Floor is rotted and creaking in most of the room. Heater fan made unusual noises all night and kept me up. But for $80 a night what can one expect?

My stay at the silver lakes inn was a short one but so great and for a great price! I felt very safe here as other reviews have mentioned. My room was very clean and had great amenities so I recommend selecting the budget options especially as a solo traveler! Check in was simple and easy and the employee I spoke to was very nice :) if you are passing through this is a great place to stay!

I stayed here for a conference. My room was perfect for just me and had all the amenities i needed with microwave, fridge and 1 cup kurig. Staff was super friendly and helpful with my questions. While not a fancy hotel, this was nice and i felt safe. Nothing was broken and no peeling paint or broken tiles. No bugs.

Initially, my gps put me on the side street behind the hotel. The back side does give off creepy vibes. But the rest of the property was nice and well kept.

Easy shopping and restaurants close by. There is a breakfast/ lunch café across the street and a coffee drive thru next door.

I would stay here again.

I was not sure what to expect, as it is out of the main city, but this place is great. Much less expensive than staying in Couer D'Alene, and the place is clean and safe. Very friendly staff as well.

This small motel is a gem! It's out off the main road so it's nice and quiet. It's not anything special but it's well-maintained and the rooms are very clean. We picked this place because we went to Triple Play and didn't want to pay the high prices of the other local places. You can't find anything less expensive for this quality. There's a drive-thru coffee stand practically next door. My only (very small) complaint is the lack of an available ice machine after office hours.

The previous reviews gave us hope that this property had what we were looking for, and the price made it even more enticing, so we booked a two night stay.
Upon arrival, the hotel room smelled like smoke, and wasn't super warm and inviting. After showering, the floor mat was very dirty from the shower/bathroom floor. It made us uncomfortable enough to run to Target and purchase new sheets and a blanket, just to make sure we were reasurred the bed was clean for a peaceful nights sleep.
The next day we asked housekeeping to re-clean the shower/bathroom floor which they gladly did.
The staff was great at noticing we had 4 people in a double room on our reservation, so they left two extra towels without us needing to ask. Also a bonus was the large refrigerator and little kitchen table.
The parkinglot was full of pot holes, and the landscaping full of weeds. However, the interior of the room was simple and charming.
It was adequate for our needs, but it is a mystery why this hotel has received such high remarks.

Good Retreat

It was a good retreat. Only issue was my room being located at the intersection of two roads and so you could hear vehicle traffic. Room was nice and clean. Got the key from the lockbox and very little to no human contact at all, which is what I wanted. Received texts and they were very nice checking in on me to see if I needed anything. Location was very close to lots of shopping areas. Super nice town.👍

Would stay here again. The owners were very nice and check in was a Breeze. Our room was very clean and the updates were noticeable. Our bathroom design was very modern. The beds were very comfortable. Our room was equipped with a small kitchenette, but was the perfect size for the meal prepping I needed to do. The full fridge and freezer was great for all our Costco groceries.
This Motel is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The rates are very reasonable. Thank you for a great stay!!

Older motel, but updated and nice

As other reviewers have said, this is an older motel, but very nice. The floors creak, but it has brand new carpet, the bed was very comfortable, the mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were new and good quality. It was quite spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable basic place to stay.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Refrigerator is always a plus. Hot water and pressure were great in the shower. If you're looking for a clean and comfortable place at a reasonable price, this is it.

The owners were very friendly and helpful.

There's a great breakfast place right across the street.

We arrived late at night and the street lighting approaching the Inn wasn't good. It made us a little apprehensive. But when we woke the next morning, we realized there was no reason to feel that way.

I stayed at the Silver Lakes Inn while I worked at a Fall Festival in the area. The rooms were updated, super clean and very roomy. Had everything we needed for our 3 night stay! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The Inn was clean , quiet and very comfortable! We felt safe going for walks in the evening, it was located in a very convenient area, close to the lake and close to surrounding towns and cities.

Small hotel with outside access to rooms. The room was spacious and bed really comfortable. Not a lot of amenities. Front desk closed early. Average cleanliness. Needed rug by door. It was raining and we ended up dragging in sand/mud on our shoes. It was had to spot the sign to the property and drove by it twice.

Our booking at this property was for two nights, and after our first night's stay, the property management contacted us via text to ask if our room needed any service prior to our second night's stay. That's the first time I've ever had a hotel contact me to ask if our room needed any service. I appreciated that, and will always remember that property for \"going the extra mile\" for their guests. I would definitely come back and stay at this place.
