My honest opinion the hotel is clean and chill and calm the dinner wasn’t bad but the breakfast was a total snooze fest cold and same old ting every day I book the spa for my birthday but it was I ended up turning back because it was the hot tub which i didn’t need and it was pure dude get a refund thou but what’s get me was that i mentioned it was my birthday 3 times to the receptionist and crickets but thanks to the restaurant guy who gave me a kool key sensation hotel button cheers me up a bit over if you need a clean chill hotel it’s ok but dont expect much else

Great staff on reception, very warm, friendly and helpful. Beautiful sea view from the room and the hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately I found the beds very uncomfortable - very hard mattress - and there was a door to the next room so I could hear everything happening in the room next door. Also, they play very loud music by the pool from 10am which can be heard in the rooms.

The hotel is perfectly located just a few minutes walk to the centre and the beach. Rooms are nice and spacious with a fridge and tea making facilities. The hotel spa and gym are perfect for a short break away.

Very nice stay. Room was nice. Only two issues. The pillows are super flat and uncomfortable. Need to invest in better quality thicker ones. Also my bathroom was extremely dark. Even with the lights on. The shower area was practically black and I couldn’t see anything. No light in the shower at all. Nothing installed on the ceiling. Need to get some lights in there. Was very difficult to shower.

It's a really nice hotel with very kind staff. They usually cater for LGBTQ people. Rooms are a bit outdated but very comfortable. Nice sea views and balcony in the rooms. Complimentary tea and coffee. Breakfast is really good and dinner too. There's two swimming pools. One on the 9th floor though nudist. Didn't use the spa so can't comment. Good value hotel overall.

The staff were super friendly and helpful.
The only negatives were the noise that you could hear through the walls from the other rooms and the music around the pool area was very loud and the same playlist every day/night

Hotel was okay. Happy to have tried it but no need to return. Some tedious things like having to give a cash deposit for pool towels and a separate charge for the spa. Place is definitely dated and beds are firm and not comfortable. Big spread for breakfast but not particularly good food.

Good, but overpriced considering the condition.

Very popular busy hotel. Wonderful location and staff very friendly.
The rooftop pool area needs urgent attention though, the flooring throughout is full of holes, covered in chipboard, so you’re likely to cut or get splinters in your feet. Poolside cleanliness is an issue too, the small tables are rarely cleaned. It could be a great space, but considering it was refurbished in February, the floor really needs addressing asap.
Rooms are nice, very dated and in need of renovation, but clean and the views are nice.
Spa is good and well appointed. Bar prices are very reasonable. Breakfast is very good.

Ritual is a nice pleasant enough mainly gay hotel.

Plus aspects are : friendly staff. nice breakfast buffet, nice pool and top deck is enjoyable.

Minuses are: gym is in dire need of renovation, some machines don’t work and it’s quite small. The bedrooms are also dated. Main cupboard is boarded up so have to use small thin cupboards to the side. I did query this but seems locked for some reason.

Also very noisy about 6am daily when rubbish is collected (I stayed on the other side from pool view which costs more). Seems like all glass bottles from bars nearby collected at this time causing an almighty racket. Not sure why can’t be collected later…….

Probably slightly over priced for what you get.

Honestly one of the best gay hotels ibhave ever stayed ever, from the rooms, the pool, the breakfast, the spa! Everything was perfect! The only think i hope they fix is making the parking opening easier, like i had to get down from my car and do a whole thing everytime, also towels should be free for guests, just like the spa i didn't get the 8 euro charge but all of that is minimal compared to how amazing the hotel is!

Ritual is a great place to stay. This was my third time I’ve stayed there and can’t fault it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel in general is very clean. Location is very convenient for the town centre only 5-10 minutes walk. Only a few hundred metres from many bars, restaurants and clubs.

Only downside is it can be hectic when they have events on. I was there during the mad bear festival, hotel was sold out and as a result the sunbeds and areas around both main pool and rooftop pool were so busy it was difficult to get any beds. Would still heavily recommend the hotel just avoid when big events are happening.

Very poor experience. I only stayed there one night and the reception staff were unfriendly and difficult to deal with. The internet didn't work and it took nearly 2 hours to get them to change me to a room in another area of the hotel where it was working, but then it stopped there again in the morning. Really terrible service - will never stay there again.

We always enjoy our time at the hotel, the staff are lovely and the service is good. The rooms are spacious and the food options good at the buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinners.
The gym requires some updating, but the spa and pool area is lovely.
The rooms are comfortable, but please if anyone who can help is reading this, whatever the team clean the rooms with or odourise them with is absolutely horrendous. Please stop using the fragrance, it is so strong and awful, it would give you a migraine without opening the windows as wide as possible throughout your stay, it's honestly a massively off-putting trait to the hotel.

Hotel is located in central area near restaurants and the beach. The room was clean and had nice views of the ocean. The swimming pools were good too. The breakfast and dinner buffet were great, offering various dishes everyday.

For the majority of the staff, they were friendly and accommodating. However, during our check in, a young female wasn’t friendly at all. She didn’t greet us and answered our questions abruptly. She didn’t smile and stared at us as if we were inconveniencing her. I urge the management to give her more training in customer service to be welcoming and helpful to your guests.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and while I felt the room was a little dated it was clean and comfortable. House keeping came every day and were happy to work around you, the pool area had plenty of sunbeds and the drinks not silly prices. The location of the hotel was great too, a short walk to the bars and plenty of good restaurants nearby. My only couple of criticisms are that housekeeping change the towels daily regardless of whether they really need to. It would be good to get the option to use them a couple of days if you wanted to which is a little more eco friendly. Also the WiFi was dreadful and I just had to give up using it, luckily I still get free European roaming or I would be annoyed.

Check in wasn’t good the Wilson’s and I booked and requested rooms 1 2 with plenty of notice the Wilson’s got room 1 which I requested. I was allocated 304. I didn’t have much hope of getting moved. Eva the receptionist the following morning sorted it out for me to have room 2 she was excellent.

A clean hotel in a good location for beach and town.
Sadly the hotel has a lot of rooms with link doors to other rooms and shared balconies meaning that you can hear everything the people in the next room say and do so it’s difficult to sleep sometimes, also some guests can be very loud on their balconies as in have parties and the hotel doesn’t stop them.
The air con didn’t work resulting in a really hot room which made it uncomfortable.
You have to wear a permanent wrist band to access the top floor which I think unnecessary.

Cracks are beginning to show…..

Average stay at a very average hotel. The beds are hard and the extras whilst staying are constant. It’s incredibly noisy with slamming doors all night that echo and disturb your sleep. The bathroom was plagued with an army of ants, though staff provided spray to try and combat the little blighters.

The standards have slipped at Ritual and having stayed many, many times I’ve sadly seen it actively go down hill. It’s like they don’t care about it anymore. The outdoor spaces, in particular the rooftop pool, are shabby and uncared for and the steam room in the Spa has been broken since my last visit in March. They’ll continue to attract the LGBT Crowd due to the unique offering which is exclusive to the area. Whilst decorated, the rooms are tired and the closed in, inaccessible microwave / kitchen area looks absolutely awful.

This place is not worth more than €50 a night however. Anything more than that would leave you feeling robbed.

The Ritual is a gamble. If it’s an adults only weekend you’re looking for, you might do okay. Anything longer than a few nights is pretty depressing.

Staff were nice and the room was clean. Parking was also plentiful and free on the street outside. I’d stay again, but not for any longer than a weekend.
