Tried multiple times sine one week before arrival to get the acces codes to get in the hotel via email en phone since the form to be filled with our data doesn’t work. Contacted Expedia to find a solution, property was not reachable as well for Expedia!.
No answer until the day before causing lots of stress and frustration, therefore booked another hotel in the meantime. Until now i have still no feedback from the property. Deffo a bad experience.

The place is not meant to be for resting or sleeping, the rooms beside were full of people partying, very noisy, they were smoking, drinking and there was a strong urine smell. At 1 in the morning we left and walked to another hotel, which meant we paid double as there was nobody we could talk to or complain about the noise levels or conditions. Terrible experience.

Awful experience checking in. Chaotic and beyond difficult. We ended up trapped in an unmanned reception with another couple who had no idea what to do.
No instructions on the desk. No codes given to get into the building or the reception.
Some passer by on the street stopped and gave us the codes to get in - then we ended up being trapped.
After finally finding a number drawn on the door - we finally got instructions whatsapped.
This also took over half an hour as you had to register over what's app and when approved, finally the codes to the room was given.
We should have had email through with all the details - including the location ( first floor ) and all the codes and check in details.
Because we booked late that email didn't come.
Very stressful and complicated.
Room super noisy all night - over looking the bus stop and the bins - which seemed to be emptied several times a night. Awful experience and we stayed one night.

The hotel was not unique.It was very noisy. The refuge collecting. There's like, every 10 minutes, so you couldn't not sleep. I would find it very hard to go back.
But as I say, it is convenient. I would stay the weekend.
But i'd find it very hard to stay for a week.

No staff on site, and no one answers the provided email address when (not if) there's a problem. If you stay here, make sure you have a SIM card that can make local calls, that's the only way to contact them. The entryway was regularly full of people with luggage seemingly unable to get into their rooms.

The room was run down and cramped and when we finally got towels they smelled like they'd been washed lightly on \"eco\" mode - ie, smelled used and unhygienic.

The location, however, is unbeatable.

Room had not been cleaned upon arrival, and no answer on the emergency phone line nor by Whatsapp. I had to request Expedia customer service to assist in order to get the room cleaned. This was not my first stay there, but based on the lack of responsiveness to reach someone at the property, I would not recommend as in case something critical happens you are on your own.

Great low budget hotel.

The hotel has comfortable rooms and bathroom. No active reception, keys are left at desk. Entrance codes are sent to you on day of arrival . I arrive by car and there is apparently a paid car park but I was returning a car rental the same day so I'm not sure where this is.

We didn’t know how to access the building, the safe in room had no key as previous person staying took key with them, it didn’t feel safe leaving passport and cards unlocked in the room, the towels looked ancient, we went and bought new ones. Avoid this place.

They sent the check-in details late so I waited longer for check-in and had to chase. The room wasn't ready when I arrived. I was asked to move rooms because of a water leak during my stay and then water was switched of for hours on one day with no explanation or idea of when it would be back on. Speaking to other people there, it sounded like we all had bad experiences.

Basic room but very clean and comfortable. Very central location (50m from Metro stop) and surrounded by bars, shops, etc. Very friendly reception staff but reception is not manned at night so make sure you get there morning or afternoon and check times when reception is open. Ideal for short stay. Room felt safe and secure and I had no issues with noise.

Beware of noise and lack of staff

Overall, the property ok, primarily due to the area, which is walking distance from everything in Torremolinos. There are several issues related to my stay that made me give it lower rating:
- Internet was not available for a little over than 24 hours
- There is no staff on premise after 8 PM; this creates a chaotic situation at night, when various guests are loud and literally running and yelling until after 3 AM. If you are visiting with intention of having a good nights rest, avoid this place like a plague. There is no sound isolation, so even a quiet conversation in the hallway sounds like the people are in your room. Also, there should be someone present at the front desk at all times to address any other potential issues. I understand that would lead to rooms being more expensive, but I believe that would be justified for the sake of everyone's comfort and safety.
- The staff is loud during regular room cleaning hours and are frequently shouting across the hallways
- One night I found a big live cockroach in my room, which I had to eliminate. On a more positive note, it is the kind that lives outside and not the kind that infests buildings, so it probably got lost rather than being an indicator of a bigger problem

For party people only

Arrived at 7 pm to find the entrance to Solrooms locked. No contact number, information or notice. On the booking it stated reception was to 8.30pm.
Thankfully, a gentleman on the ground floor who’d initially guided us to the correct location came upstairs and knew the acccess code and let us in (bizarre?) and knew where the keys would be as he said the manager was only there in a morning (really??)
Relieved to get in the room, rather than having to sleep on a park bench though.
Although minimal in style, verging on spartan the room was clean, facilities new and provided excellent value for money.
However, the external noise makes it impossible to sleep and you need to be falling through the door at 6am tobenefitfromthe late checkout at 1 pm.
We had a flight & I was glad to leave at 4.30am
I stay in Torremolinos a lot & have to say despite the value for money, I will never stay here again

We stayed for one night in March 2018 for an early flight the next day. If you want a easy, hassle free and clean place to stay for the night - this is it! The building itself is quite interesting with a lovely courtyard to greet you. The room itself is 'modern hostel' with consideration given to space and function. It actually feels quite modern albeit quite basic. It can be a little noisy but you are right in the centre of Torremolinos. For one night, it's perfect! :)

2cnd stay at Solrooms. Location perfect. Adjacent to Torremolinos railway station. A few language issues when checking in but easily resolved with google translate and the people there very friendly.
I think It is only possible to check in during certain hours. Didn't affect me but needs checking if you plan to arrive late.
Room is basic..very basic but clean..clean towels and bed linen and its air conditioned.and has good wifi
for a short stay its ideal and combined with a cheap flight on a budget airline makes for a brilliant short break at anytime of year.
No transfers to think about.. literally 15 minutes from airport to room.
If you want a romantic break then forget it. Likewise if you want luxury. but if you want a clean place to stay on a budget look no further.

Great little hotel

This hotel or hostel was great.. the only drawback is the reception is never open and is run by the cleaning lady most of the time. They use google translator to help understand you or tell you anything. However the room was great and everything was in brand new condition. My only concern was the bed. It was very low and to be honest looked home made.. the floors of the room are painted concrete and the bed moved on the shiny surface.. I will be surprised if they last long... to be honest the bed was comfortable but getting out of it was a pain. I would really recommend it but plan to arrive between 11 and 2 as the place is not manned as they say it is..
the location is fantastic next to the bus stop to Malaga and the train station . There is no restaurant but there are plenty of local eating places.. so that’s not a hardship. I saw a restaurant 50 metres away that did English breakfast coffee and orange juice for four euros. Spanish don’t really understand a British breakfast but they try!!!!

Although room was quite basic, it was very comfortable and cheap. The staff were friendly, and we could check out late which was a bonus, so could stay all day on the beach. It is in the centre of town, so expect some noise. Will definitely return, as it is just what we need, a bed, shower and in a clean room.

Absolutely great location right in the middle of town, access to everything, from the main train station, to food, etc. Local hang out places right in the square, and more.
NO FRILLS lodging. Bare minimum bed, and that is basically it. Nothing else, but who needs it?

He visitado el hotel en otras ocasiones y lo mejor es su ubicación.
Pero últimamente el estado de la habitación deja mucho que desear.
El cuarto de baño está cada vez en peores condiciones: la ducha no se sujeta, la cortina y la barra rota. No hay estantería donde colocar el neceser ni colgadero para la toalla.
En general el baño muy deficiente.

Not a good choice

For the price they should be doing so much better. The rooms are not clean (mini cockroach in bath included, stubs from cigarretes in the window slides), the towels, the bed sheets, everything what is inside is the lowest quality and requires upgrade. Overall the room is prepared without any attention to details.
The location is central but there is also a noisy bar below so you have to think twice if you need to be so central.

Good location in the middle of Torremolinos. Not great to arrive with car since you can't stop outside.
The building looked a little dodgy at first but when you get in to the corridors with all the rooms it was renovated and fresh. The room was clean and fine.
Only problem was that there was no water in the shower or sink during the night or morning. Seemed like a temporary shut-off, but there was no notice from the staff that it would be switched off. Will not stay again.

Online Check in für ältere Leute mit keinen Englisch Kenntnissen fast nicht möglich . Alle Nachrichten auf englisch. Rezeptionen am Sonntag nicht besetzt. Zimmer erst beziehbar um 14 Uhr. Keine Möglichkeit Gepäck aufzu bewahren. Ankunft am Flughafen um 8.45 das ganze Gepäck bis 14 Uhr mitschleppen.Danke diese Unterkunft nie wieder.

Ich kann die zum Teil positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Als ich das Zimmer betrat, viel mir sofort ein unangenehmer Geruch auch. Bei näherem betrachten musste ich feststellen das es wohl aus der Matratze lag. Sie roch tatsächlich nach Urin. Das Personal ist etwa nur 2-3 Stunden anwesend und so konnte ich mich erst am nächsten darüber beschweren und musste auf dem Beistellbett schlafen.Der freundliche Angestellte war am nächsten Mittag auch bereit mir zu helfen aber leider ohne Erfolg. Er versprühte im kompletten Zimmer irgendein Mikrozid oder ähnliches. Ich bekam auf jeden Fall einen Hustenreiz und musste die Fenster öffnen. Er meinte der Geruch käme von einer Reparatur im Haus. Ich konnte allerdings klar erkennen (riechen) das es von der Matratze kommt. So musste ich die restlichen Tage in diesem Geruch verbringen. Einfach nur widerlich!!! Ein Foto von diesem \"Gestank\" konnte ich leider nicht machen.

Muy mejorable

El personal muy atento y amable, aunque el estado de la habitación estaba muy deteriorado, incluyendo suelos y paredes. La limpieza bien cuando llegamos, pero al segundo día no pasaron por la habitación. Muy céntrico.

Meget slidt værelse, paneler gaber og bare generelt slidt.
Sengen var meget meget hård at ligge på, pyntetæppet lugtede som om det ikke har været vasket i mange uger.
