The room was clean. There is an extra charge to use the safe. The staff were helpfu. Although my wake up call was late one morning for my tour and repeated the next morning even though I didn’t request one.
There is a large selection of food at breakfast but I would say it was average. Not bad, not great.
My major complaint is how noisy the hotel is. There is almost no way to close the room door quietly. Doors closing echoed up and down the hallway. I also could hear voices from next door and furniture being moved (cleaned under?) Upstairs.

The hotel has seen better days. Flooring in the room was warped outside the bathroom, probably because the shower door doesn’t shut properly. Even the veneer on the bathroom door was coming loose. Loose plaster by the door. The most shocking thing was clearly weeks of dirt in the lifts. The location was great however and I am sure with a little attention this could be a great hotel. You will need to review your ramps, as they are too steep to be considered accessible.

Arrived with a biooking from hotels.com, The hotel had no record of it and asked me to sit down in reception then started checking in other people. I waited 45 minutes before contacting hotels.com who then called the hotel. The booking was then confirmed.

No apology, just left sat for 45 minutes in spain not knowing if I had a hotel or not.

Room was ok but the bathroom sink did not drain so after cleaning my teeth, the water was still in the sink 30 minutes later.

Air conditioning only worked on hot.

The rooms have no sound proofing so you can hear everything from each side and this caused sleepless hours as guests coming in late and drunken antics. The lounge bar was ok but not a lot of cover so hard to get any service. Also the maintenance and drilling starting at 8am was disruptive.
Also the room safe is charged at €3 euro a day this should be a minimum standard of facility at a hotel.

Lovely hotel with a cute pool area with a selection of sunbeds and poolside tables to enjoy drinks and food. Very comfortable beds and rooms are a great size though looking a little tired in places. Flooring was coming apart though not unsafe looked more like water damage. Elevators although there are three of them, can be slow at peak times. Ideal location. Not far from shops and beach. A short walk to train station and bus stops right outside. Staff all very pleasant.

This is a good value hotel but please do not expect good service. The receptionists won’t go out of their way to make you comfortable or be kind. E.g. unnecessarily withholding a room until close to check in time, key card stopped working after 1 day after repeatedly informed that ive booked an extension, standing up at reception for 5 minutes waiting for the reception to finish her phone call.

Firstly when we arrived we entered the lobby which looks lovely however it had a terrible smell! We were taken to our room which was a double room (2 single beds pushed together) and both beds are comfortable however VERY noisy when you move around. We had a fridge in the room which didn't work which we reported but nothing was done. We was surprised about all the added charges. €5 a day to use the safe, €20 deposit for 2 towels, €20 deposit for an iron and €5 a day to have teas, coffees and sugars refilled in our room.

The swimming pool area is very small, there are not enough beds for everyone in the hotel and the beds are very close together.

Some staff were very friendly however some were quite rude and unhelpful.

The cleaners didn't clean our room on the first day and then throughout our stay we noticed that the cups in our room were not replaced but were simply washed out in the bathroom sink. We realised this as they had been left in the bathroom one day when we returned with water in the bottom. It would have been nice to have clean cups everyday.

The bonus of this hotel is it is adults only which is why we booked however I wouldn't return.

For a Hyatt hotel, the property had poor AC and sliding beds that move with every slight move. The balcony overviewed some ducts and other extensions that are dirty and look weird. The elevator is super slow and not that smart as sometimes we had to wait for a long time to get in or out. The positive thing is how convenient the hotel is as it is close to everything in town. Also, they have a shattaf which is amazing as we rarely find it in Europe.

Good location.
We stayed for 5 nights. Our third night we were disturbed by loud noises from outside beteeen 23:30-02:30 (nighttime). It turned out to be the hotel itself which, with help of a large crane lifted ”things” up on the hotel roof. We couldn’t sleep for this 3 hours and the hotel staff didn’t care about the inconvenience.
The staff in the reception had overall an unkind approach. Our room was cleaned 2 days but missed 2 days.
The lady that welcomed us in the breakfastresturant every morning had a great smile and was very welcoming.

One of the better hotels in the area but they have some odd ways. Communication isn’t their strong point as often different staff would give you a different answer to the same question. For example, we were told we couldn't have later than a 2pm checkout then that changed to 3pm when we spoke with another staff member later. Staff are hit and miss. Some are wonderful (Carmen), whilst others are quite rude and unwelcoming. As a VIP guest we were given mixed information on what sunbeds we could and couldn't use. I'd like to think we're fairly switched on guys but even we struggled to understand some of their 'policies'.

The breakfast area was often very busy and staff were slow cleaning tables.

We had to change rooms after night one due to a very noisy and faulty air con. The room was therefore very hot and it was hard to sleep. They did resolve this for us but only after I unfortunately had to complain and get a little direct. The room cleanliness was 'ok' but the bathroom had mould and the floor had hairs (not ours) around the perimeter. They failed to top up the soap too and a couple of towels and pillow cases had some staining. They do change the bedding but only if you leave the card on the bed each day. No iron or ironing board in rooms. You have to ask for them.
The location is great for the centre and the hotel is fairly quiet. Pool area is decent.

The guests are a good mix of all ages and backgrounds. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the hotel wasn't 'sensational'.

Don't book if you want a 4* hotel

This is an old and terrible hotel and absolutely not a 4* as it claims. We booked a \"Junior Suite\" room and were given a room resembling absolutely nothing of the sort. I have added pictures of our balcony and the view from our \"suite\" bedroom. The balcony was full of flies and dusty. The bathroom had not been cleaned properly and there were long hairs underneath near the shower. The maid removed 2 of our souvenir glasses that we had bought in Torremolinos which we did not get back. I asked every day to move rooms but the hotel always claimed they were full despite other guests arriving, usually cabin crew who were just there for a night rather than us being there for 3 nights. Use of the safety deposit box is a rip-off 5EUR per day. You have to wait ages for the lifts as the maids use them all day rather than having a separate service lift. The pool area is the only nice bit about this hotel. We didn't use the rooftop. On our final morning we were woken up at 8.50am by builders directly below us constantly drilling which continued until 11am when we checked out. Along with asking to switch rooms every day, I tried complaining directly to the hotel after our return to the UK. They simply directed me to hotels.com to complain to. If the hotel had addressed my complaint I would not be writing this awful review. Summary - don't stay here if you're expecting a 4 star hotel, it's more 2 star with a nice pool.

We are only staying 24 hours due to late arrival night flight, so not taken full advantage of hotel. Friendly staff. Super late check in 2am, with no issues. Super comfortable beds, clean soft sheets. Rain fall shower. All complementary washing gels supplied, with towels. Fridge. Hair dryer. Tea and coffee making facilities. Air con. Clean rooms, simple plain decor but not spotless, if you want to be nit picky. Showing signs of age around the edges but not enough to be to horrid.

Hotels.com rewards said i can get a late checkout for free if available. I checked and it was available however the hotel wanted to charge me 25Euros for 2 hours

Air con did not work, instead of cooling it heated the room (I checked the settings)

Breakfast was awful and cold, not even a little buit warm despite me being there at 7:40 ten minutes after it opened so the food was put out cold

I think hotels.com need to review their marketing for this property because your status with hotels.com means nothing to them.

The room itse;f was nice and the bed was comfortable other than the temperature that the air con didn't help with

We wanted a quiet couples hotel and really enjoyed our stay here. Couples wise, it was mainly retired people so not noisy. There was plenty of choice at breakfast although not always piping hot - a buffet never is.
Our room was spotless, comfy and well equipped. We were surprised that (bearing in mind we had a coffee machine) we were not given replacement capsules - these were to purchase.
Beds were very comfy, pillows are foam and firm (for those that need to know).
We added the VIP access for a small room offering drinks and snacks which worked well for us.
Would we stay here again - we absolutely would! Excellent value - lovely staff and a five min walk from the train station.

We had a lovely holiday in this holiday. The sea view rooms are must, as even in January balcony was proper sun trap. I would say that the hotel was value for money, but eventough it has all 4 start ammenities things seem bit cheaply done. Like bits of the room are fixed with tape or bathroom fixings are just not that well done. You don’t get free coffee, but you do get couple of tea bags, kettle and a fridge. Non of that really bothered us, but a thing we struggled with was how thin the walls were. You could hear neighboring rooms talk word by word, go to toilet etc. Because the hotel was really cheap and we had ear blugs we enjoyed our stay.

Had major issues with parking, confusing instructions and felt unsafe in parking garage, got lost and almost couldn’t find the way back to the hotel. Room was nice and clean but had an issue with temperature in the room, it was winter by the time we went but room was very hot. Tried turning on AC but it was not working correct at all, we put it on the cool setting but it continued to blow out hot air.

We had to wait more than an hour from the check in time 2pm in order the room to be ready and clean.
This was a time wasting and we hadn’t been offered absolutely nothing not even a coffee or water, we had to leave and go and wait to a coffee shop nearby. The response we got from the reception was that the check in is from 2pm and it can be later than that.
Is this a response from a 4star hotel? And the room should have be ready at 2pm if the check in is from 2pm. We are travellers all around the world and we didn’t had to wait more than an hour from the expected check in time.
As we had paid half board, we had also included dinner to our 5day reservation which was also not very impressing for a 4star hotel.
Mostly fried cheap options and very limited meat/protein dishes,all the evening buffets the same.
Really not impressed, today we continued as planned our accommodation and moved to another hotel which was cheaper and closer to the beach area, but the treatment the hospitality, food and service are much better.

Location brilliant. Rooms spotless, and attended to daily. Staff friendly. Reception staff very helpful. Food very disappointing, basically very poor choice and similar food presented daily. Breakfast very poor, selection of fruit practically non existent for a Spanish destination, at the most, two types of fresh fruit, ( mostly two types of melon)and canned mixed fruit used every single day. Desserts were also repeated daily with same two types of fresh fruit on offer ( apples and pears)Definitely not to be recommended for half/ full board as we ate our meals in other restaurants after the first day.

Been here once before in 2019 . Liked it then . The website says its family friendly with a free bus to beach . There was no bus. Find the walk back up too much. Must say the food was lovely BUT almost same thing every day . There is an issue with the best sunloungers reserved for special guests so that there are people who cant get lounger when there are lots available . . Would be nice to not have to pay for water with meals.

It’s an ok hotel. We were the younger ones there. It seems to be one of the hotels that tours use and i means more for older as in 60 yr old and above. They had a pool that i didn’t not visit. This hotel is about 25 minutes away from the city center of Malaga so if your looking to go out, it could be an expensive cab/Uber ride out daily. They also do not have an iron on site which I find crazy. You have a luggage full of wrinkled cloths and you can’t iron them.

When arrived at hotel they asked how much we paid on Expedia. When they saw our Expedia reservations with the price paid, they said there were no rooms available even though we had paid. Instead they shipped us off to the Roc Casta Parc which is well away from downtown and a much lower class and price hotel. Antonio the senior person on duty confirmed we could not have rooms there. Very disappointed in Expedia.

Centrally located near pedestrianised town center streets, 10-15minute walk downhill to the beach. Room 519 spacious with large balcony, at the end of the corridor, quiet location as requested.
the building I reckon to be about 40 years old but clean and well maintained.
Nice selection of foods at mealtime, gets busy but not overcrowded close to end of mealtimes.
Pool small but clean, shallow for kids at one end.
At the time of our stay, the guests were mainly Spanish couples and families. The pool never overcrowded, many activities during the day, but most guests seem not to use the pool much.
Kids activities in the evening, well run and staff friendly.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a good location. Other than it was disappointing, very old amenities, noisy sound from the air conditioning, noise from game room/and pool. Bed wasn’t comfy. Also there was a line to check in, I waited for 30 minutes and my room wasn’t even ready at check in time. I won’t stay there again.

Flamingo Torremolinos

We booked the Flamingo on a whim after visiting
Torremolinos one evening and having stayed there
as a couple 23 yrs ago, we were with our 13 yr old
daughter and had a room with twin beds and a single, the room was immaculately clean and the bathroom was spacious and modern, the balcony was small but usable ( and a little tired) but the service staff and food was excellent.

The 4 starts hotel was not 4 but 2... Tired and old...is not importantt if is old but we'll look after.... Need some love and attention.. Not only painting but cleaning deeply...because is in the centre of Torremolinos I shouldn't expect less ... We spent one night there and went to another Roc Hotel.... The food was poor and boring.. Noisy... Pool area tiny...deceiving pictures

You recommend this hotel as a four star which it certainly is not. From the beginning we felt negative. When we arrived the outside facade was falling apart. The whole entrance area is bleak. Check in took ages as there were a lot of Spanish people checking out and only one person on duty. The room was fair, balcony non existent. The bathroom was atrocious with only a half bath. The sink hung over the toilet. Only a slim person could sit down comfortably. The toilet stunk even after cleaning. The restaurant was practically a free for all. Ctically all Spanish people staying there, but of the few English we met three couples were insisting on being moved. We would never stay there again. On the plus side the staff were hard working and helpful.

Better hotels to stay

The hotel is tired although the bathrooms have been upgraded and the beds are comfortable. Very noisy with people coming in at all hours and slamming bedroom doors. Really object to having to pay for a safe especially in a 4 star hotel. It is a basic requirement these days. tiny balcony overlooking an alley yuk!!!
Food is okay for the evening dinner buffet service but breakfast could be improved, soggy scrambled egg and cold fried eggs, greasy bacon.
Good location easily accessible for the main square and parking is very reasonable and secure.
Does what it says on the tin but I would n't rate it as a 4 star at best 3 star.
On a positive note the staff very friendly, polite and helpful.

Close to local shops and great location for RSSB.

The Hotel was good we stayed there for four days. This was a good hotel to stay as it was ideal for the RSSB Sangant, as it dropped off outside the hotel after the santsang. And it was a walking distance to the morning meeting point for the coach collection at Cervantes Hotel.
The hotel does not provide iron in room and you have to pay for a safe in your room.
The hotel is very clean.
We ate in the evenings as wanted to explore other foods and restaurants.
The breakfast is ok but I would recommend only to have breakfast there only.

Mixed feelings

Not worth 4 stars compared to the 4 stars on the beach front. The breakfast buffet was plentiful but finding small termites in the porridge was not good. The staff were informed but just walked away. Also left an item on departure in my room. Emailed hotel who never replied to me. Room was good and bed comfortable. Shower was excellent
