Cleaning staff were amazing and always had the place spotless, and cleaned room to a really high standard. The staff in general were all fantastic. Poole areas were great and the bar staff were very friendly and approachable. We got the all inclusive which was great for the drinks, the food was the only let down for me. It was fine but I wouldn’t be relying on for all meals, it was a bit bland and like a cafeteria. All in all an amazing place and I would visit again .

The room was immaculate and this was kept up throughout the stay . It was so close to the beach I could go for a swim and be back in my hot shower in 2 minutes . Perfect for morning runs & walks too . Breakfast was excellent. The staff were all extremely helpful and the classes had fabulous leaders . It was an excellent place to stay

Lovely hotel. It's 3 connecting hotels. Entertainment everyday. Staff were always at reception and polite. Reason I gave it 4 stars - the room for 3 adults was not great. Fairly small room and the bathroom is even smaller - which is a shame because from the outside, the building is really nice.
Lots of food choices to pick from, but it does not massively change day-by-day

I ate in the adjoining sister hotel where I had been advised by other guests that the food was of a higher standard. I was very pleased with the quality and variety of meals. It was however disappointing to see many guests wearing pool-side clothes to dinner.

Overall delighted with hotel staff went above and beyond when we left a bag when going home they delivered it to the airport for us….the breakfast was great lots of choice for even the fussiest person, the room you get is obviously based on what you pay, I personally would pay more for a bigger room with a view, I did have to bring to their attention a duvet cover that had what looked like blood on it, however it was dealt with quickly.. we were there in November and the hotel and torremolinos itself are quiet which is great, sadly a lot of restaurants seem to take their vacation for the month of November…but still enough choice of places to eat….will definitely go back

Check in was easy however there where couple of of things we felt where a bit to much €23 aday parking is very expensive and a €20 per pool towel deposit this was overly expensive as this is not a cheap hotel to stay at.the room was small but clean bathroom had bath and separate shower cubical nice to have a choice. Alway plenty of hot water.
The AC worked great.
As the room door opened directly to corridor it could be noisey no good for a light sleeper.
Breakfast lot of choice to much
Evening mean was self service hot and cold food lots of choice alway two fish two meats on the gril a roasted joints
3 pasta dishes
Rice dishes
Salad etc lots for everyone.
Service was quick once seated and drinks could be booked to room
Several pools outside and one indoor limited changing area only 4 lockers no life guard
The spa was expensive to use.

Lovely Stay in Sol Don Pedro Hotel Tormellinos

We had a lovely holiday in Sol Don Pedro Hotel, location was brilliant, it was literally situated on the beach and was part of two other hotels. It was only a few minutes walk from centre of Tormellinos. We were just there on a bed and breakfast basis and breakfast was lovely and spoilt for choice. Staff were very helpful, friendly and nice, Hotel was spotless, look forward to a return visit next year. It is very well situated for getting buses or trains to other parts of Costa del Sol if that’s what you want. Loved the Pools. There was a great atmosphere in the Hotel and very convenient to Airport.

We booked 4 rooms, 2 were dirty Upon arrival, so we were given another set of rooms, 1 of those flooded with the shower, so we were then moved again, they cancelled out booking upon our arrival as we didn’t have the card we paid with as the card had expired but we could still prove it was our card,we were told to make another payment, which we did and they would refund us what we originally paid. They did refund us however they left us £100 out of pocket as the ‘exchange rate’ had now changed. Ana the manager was polite, The other deputy manager was very rude. If you want hassle free, avoid this place. I will also be writing a complaint email to Melia group because this whole trip was a waste of money.

Location perfect. Metres from the main promenade and beach. Excellent standard of hotel. Shane about the gate to the whole complex ( Don Pablo/Don Pedro/Don Marco ) being out of order but not a big issue really and I am sure they will have it sorted by summer.

Decent hotel near the beach

Nice hotel, decent rooms but make sure you ask for a good view. The hotel is
still under construction in some parts from a major refurbishment which was unsettling with the mess and noise. Lots of pools, mainly older crowd. Unfortunately with the refurb the hotel has lots its charm and now is a blank modern box with many spaces in the hotel sitting empty. You wouldn’t know your in Spain which is such a shame.
Buffet was ok but not well laid out. You have to go to four stations for just tea and toast! I worried for my older parents.
Entertainment at night was just awful!! Maybe more suited for the over 55s.

Lots of sweet local cats on the property which were the best part of the hotel. I hope they are looked after by the property.

Excellent hotel, next to the beach. Part of a complex of three hotels. Staff very good, hotel excellent. Great choice of food at breakfast. I can recommend this hotel to anyone. The complex has 8 pools! Will definitely be going again.

We couldn't stay at the Don Pedro as it was CLOSED due to unfinished building work.We had to stay at the Don Pablo which wasn't good as I have mobility issues and my partner is afraid if heights! We didn't get my prior warning and found out on the day of our arrival.

I book this hotels for his good reviwes. we asekd for a room with one big bed (5 month before arivving), when we got there, they didnt had the room we requesed after all, and just when we said we are celebrating our engagement they surprisingly found a room.
the hotel is very clean and really close to the beach and the city center , the room also very clean and nice. the meals dosnt change, and every day there is the same food.
the hotel is connected with don marco and don pablo - there are 2 dining room for all the three hotels, and 3 swimming pool for all.
the swimming pools are not ver big, and dosent play any music at any one of them.
if you are a young couple, I wouldnt recommend for this hotel, since it dosent have any thing to offer for the young crowd (we are 27-28 years old).
very important to know, that although the stuff is very nice, most of them dosent speak english very well, and dosent always understand what we said, it was very frustrating.
I will not go back to this hotel again.

Nice Hotel, great facilities and close to beach

A very nice hotel within a big hotel complex. You have access to all pool facilities (there are quite a lot of them). Food is good, a great selection at breakfast and also at dinner. Dinner is much worth for money in the hotel instead of going at the restaurants along the beach unless you wish something fresh and grilled right away. Hotel is clean and staff is helpful and friendly.

We loved very much the entertainment in the hotel: live music, flamenco performance.

The location is very close to the beach and if you happen to have a car and drive around, you can easily visit other places like Marbella or even Gibraltar. It is also convenient because you're close to airport, just 15 min away drive.

We enjoyed our time at Sol don Pedro!

Hotel complex is clean and well kept. Good fairly typical with good selection for breakfast. Unfortunately the extension work being done meant we were woken up before eight in the morning with hammering and drilling so loud you could not hold a conversation in our bedroom. Noise continued all day.

Decent hotel for the price you pay! Excellent breakfast with numerous choices so please don't miss it. No tea and coffee making facility in the room and when I called the restaurant they did provide me hot water but charged 3.5 euros just 2cups of hot water. Overall plesant stay and would return . I would request hotel management to ensure tea and coffee making facility in each room.

The hotel is on the beach front. It is a steep hill up to the town and train station though.
Hotel is well maintained and lots of pools. The food is good.

A good, basic hotel. We stayed at a time during off season so the hotel was quiet during our stay. There were large parts of the hotel unused which gave it a slightly odd aura. The gym is very basic but the hotel was clean and staff friendly. We stayed half board and the food was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The kitchen staff were helpful to requests but they cater for masses to a sound standard. The spa is very overpriced but daytime activities were good

No parking when they said it was. Took an hour and half to check in!! And whe I got to my room had to go back to reception to pay a deposit to get a key to the safe. Then when I tried to turn on the air condition I needed a remote and had to go back to the reception and pay for the remote and a deposit. This is one of the worst run hotels I have ever stayed at. Truly bad

Nice hotel, but......

Nice hotel but aging a little. My air conditioning unit was noisy and unfortunately the couldn't do anything about it. Even the family staying next door had a air conditioning unit which was leaking.

Staff are generally friendly have at times you feel rushed while in conversation.

Facilities are great, nearby a beach and can use the facilities. I certainly stay there again if they upgrade the standard and the quality of some the essential in the room. In particular the air conditioning.

Great hotel close to beach

Stayed at the hotel for a weekend to watch Barcelona FC. The hotel arranged for the tickets to be delivered there after much panicking with the couriers. They held the tickets for me and were available as soon as I checked in.

Rooms were kept very clean and all the staff were very friendly. lots of options for pools and the hotel was quiet for a good nights sleep.

Spent 5 nights and 6 days. Good relaxing experience. Hotel good location. Hotel a bit dated so next time would choose one of the other pedro hotels in the same complex Marco or Pablo.
Visited Marbella via train and bus very cheaply. Definitely worth a day trip and take your swim wear with you. journey time about 2 hours from hotel on public transport.
Public transport good and cheap.
Halal food available near by. Labenese restaurant near Burger King. Pakistani restaurant in terromilinous . Also halal cafe in malaga just outside centre malaga train station. But do ask that is halal as sometimes not all meat is halal as we luckily found out in time in malaga cafe.

Do walk on the seafront as a pretty walk. Go all the way round.

This hotel has an excellent location with extensive facilities. The gardens are well laid out with exotic plants and trees and provide a wonderful oasis away from the promenade, which is only a minute away. The main town of Torremolinos is a short walk due to the public elevator that takes you from near sea level to the town (although it is a little difficult to find first time). In the section of the hotel we stayed in I felt that the walls were a little thin, and I wouldn't fancy having to live with (even slightly) noisy neighbours.
The staff in the main were warm and friendly, and the range of food available (we were staying half-board) was extensive and delicious.

Excellent hotel among a complex of 3 sister hotels. We had use of all 3 but found Don Pedro perfect as it was smaller and had a family atmosphere. The food and ambiance all excellent. My friend who is wheat intolerant was able to get glutton free bread for breakfast toast which she enjoys.

When we got to our room we were shocked to find that the bed was completely lobsided whatever side of the bed you looked at it; the bed was raised at a 45 degree angle at the feet of the bed and to a lesser degree from the right of a bed. Clearly at sight the bed was not fit for sleeping and yet it had not been replaced. We went back to reception were after explaining the state of the bed we were allocated another room which was fortunately available though it had 2 single beds instead of a double bed which what was we had requested when booking the room. We stayed there just for the night as we were flying over to Paris on the following day as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary!

None of the 3 Sol Hotels in this complex suitable for guests with poor mobility. Requested a disabled room, but was not available even though Hotel not full. Public areas accessible for wheel chairs, but, small lifts entry only possible for wheel chairs but not for mobility scooters. Long walk to most rooms (at least 50 yards) Reception staff disinterested. Staff in other areas good. Public Areas well maintained, room tired. Buffet meals excellent. Christmas Gala excellent.

Good for a few days

Hotel is quite dificult to find, better signage is required

Staff are very friendly and very proffesional.

Room was clean well kept, however a little small.

Grounds are well kept and gardens are very nice.

Evening meal/wine was poor value considering the cost.
My rate included breakfast which was well catered for with the exception of the \"orange juice\" which is truly awfull.

Would stay here and again and would recommend , dine out at night it's not worth dining in.

Very nice Hotel

We stayed at the Don Pedro for 4 nights half board and I can't fault it apart from a miserable man on reception but that was the only downside. The food was lovely loads of choice and plentiful and the location was great opposite the beach. Clean rooms and I emailed asking for 2 together which they gave us so it made it easier as we had 2 children with us.
There are various pools you can use from the 3 hotels and lots of activities going on
A nice hotel for a great price will go again as soon as possible
