I got a nice welcome from the front desk. They were very friendly and helpful. I rented by mistake a room with two queen beds but no kitchen and we came with food to cook. They accommodate us in a two room house with an adjustment in price and we were very pleased! The house is spotless even being in front of the beach! Everything looks beautiful. The beach in front it is a little ruff but few feet to the right it is a pocita, very calm water. I only wish the kitchen was more equipped for cooking but we’re able to do the cooking with the little utensils we got. I loved everything in that house!

Outrageously beautiful setting. Great oceanfront
Villas. Spotlessly clean, super nice and helpful staff (especially in their Restaurant Olas y Arena). Hammocks on the balcony. Very romantic & peaceful setting with some of the best beaches on the west coast. A true hidden gem!

We were given a corner, bottom floor, handicap friendly studio. We didn't request handicap friendly so, that was weird. The balcony view was ok. Disappointed that we didn't have a hammock nor a microwave. The staff was friendly. To me the onsite restaurant is the jewel of this place. Friendly staff and great and reasonably priced menu. They also have a small playground that my granddaughter enjoyed very much.

Paradise! We saw wales, sea turtles, swam with angel fish, beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Our villa was steps from the beach. Clean cool and comfortable. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean never gets old!

Restaurant wasnt the best but convenient for a meal. There is great dinining in the area.

Such a nice property. The bathrooms are a little outdated but the entire facility makes up for the bathrooms. Extremely close to incredible beaches, great dining options and one of the best views in Puerto Rico. Lastly extremely safe and the staff are incredible.

Pleasantly surprised with how spacious and well kept the accommodations are. Beautiful beachfront villas with balcony and easy beach access. Great swimming pool as well. Some fixtures in the room need updating and tv too small but overall a great place to stay!

We loved our stay at the Hau Villas in beautiful Isabela. The water was rough last week so we were blessed to have the protected 'blue hole' at the resort so we could enjoy the water and explore the marine life with no problems. We loved the on-site restaurant, although we can only vouch for dinners, which were excellent. The rooms are clean but basic; but nothing beats being right on the water, laying in a hammock on your semi-private porch, listening to all the sounds of Mother Nature and the waves lapping. Check in was easy. Service was pleasant. The resort is secure. There is close access to the Isabela boardwalk. This would be a great place for large parties as they have different size Villas and Casitas depending on the size of your party. The only things we would have liked is washcloths, paper towels, hooks for hanging towels and wet clothing, and add USB ports to the room. And don't be so stingy on the toilet paper! We recommend Hau and look forward to returning!

This place is in a great location but the check in time at 4pm the worst thing and when I requested an early check in fb or extra charge not even that makes happen and them at 4pm the room was not ready yet. I been in this place before and check in was at 3 now is 4 soon will be midnight 😡😡😡😡😡

Right on the beach, the staff was very courteous, the restaurant was outstanding. The only downside was limited Wifi in the rooms. Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate us. The cabins are gorgeous and roomy. Everything shuts down at 8:00 pm

FYI: The drive into the resort is dark at night.

i was told the pool is overthere, but never opened. they say there is room service but there is not even a phone. i was told to drive to the white gate but never told i had to open it. the menu is too big and fancy; not good. also there is no bar. are you kidding?

Bottom line is you’re paying to have the experience of a water beachfront. The beach is very beautiful, would recommend to stay as a couple or a family trip. Very quite and remote with great restaurants nearby. The rooms do have EXCELLENT AC! you HAVE to get mosquito repellent!!!!!
Overall it’s a nice stay for like two or three nights.

A very pretty place with the feel of camping, but in a room. Food was good at the restaurant. Our room was all the way to the end. Privacy was great, but noise from the house and workers was the trade off. We loved it though and look forward to a return stay.

I booked this Village 3 months ago and Grace (staff) said 2 times that my village was in the first floor. When I arrived she just told me that the only available village was in the 2nd floor. Very disappointed when your mom from 67yo has problems with her knees. Other thing, The water started to run out, we wait 15 minutes in the shower waiting the water run again. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The experience was horrible. Bathroom was dirty and wet and the bed and floor full of sand. The brother of the owner almost kill one child with the owners truck on Sunday. It was a terrible experience. I dont recomend this place.

A magical stay at Playa Montones

We had a wonderful stay at the cabanas! They are in a perfect, safe location right near some popular surf breaks. Great for surfing, snorkeling or just enjoying the beautiful beach and scenery. The rooms were spacious and clean. We cannot wait to go back!

Good price but I was hopping for better from the pictures. The beach is full of rocks under water making it dangerous. The swiming pool was simple and needs maintenance work. This hotel was hit hard during the hurricane and the restaurant is not ready. They were cooking food on snother area but don't have full menu. To be fair I saw them doing a lot of cleaning,painting and fixing. This is not my type of hotel but I do think for other people might be ok.

My partner is a big guy. He did not fit in the bed. They were advertised as queen size but they are full size. Had to request a king size bed from staff. They weren’t too happy about that.

No hot water no wif no t v no phone service is just the beginning of this place dirty rooms with dead flies in bathroom. The sad thing is no one cares either. No response from Mgt even after front desk staff contacted them regarding my complaint. Do yourself a big favor and stay away from this place trust me. I have stayed in a lot of places and this was my bottom 2. I paid over 200 a night for beachfront cabin not worth 50. Go someplace else and save your money and vacation. Definitely won't be back.
