On the positive, the staff are friendly enough and the communal areas and rooms are lovely. The location is brilliant, with many buses, a bus information hub, train station and city centre on your doorstep. A beach is nearby.
On the negative, the corridors need better lighting and repair (door frames coming away from plaster, holes in walls) the brunch buffet could offer more dietary options and when checking in people, staff must STOP saying their room number out Infront of others (especially when serving women travellers) as it compromises our safety. Just discreetly pass us our room key with the number on it.
On my last night, a very loud couple or more, were getting it on and obviously wanted an audience. I don't necessarily blame the hotel for this, but it was so off-putting.

Very nice stuff clean hotel nice size hotel room to minor problem unless you pay for parking fitting euro per day trying to find a packing outside is difficult and you can hear the surrounding rooms noise coming from other people and one last thing I will ruin was facing the sun the south very hot inside and the AC doesn’t work until May so we had to sleep the door open, considering the heavy noise from traffic

Loved this hotel. Very clean, huge bathroom, superpowered walk-in shower. Some of the best staff in the whole of Spain. Location is good in terms of proximity to the train station, Coach station, centre of town and the sea is only 15 or 20 minutes walk.

Excellent value for money with the brunch, breakfast available from 8 am until 13.30. Had spacious sea view room on top floor. Hired kettle for 5 euros fee plus 10 euros refundable deposit, stayed 3 nights. The male receptionist was friendly and helpful and also the other hotel staff. Hotel location was good around 10 minutes walk to town centre and train station. I would recommend this hotel and would happily return as great value for money.

The room was fine. However the water was warm and definitely not hot. I let it run for a long time. The walls are also paper thin so I was kept awake from next door plus people slamming doors constantly in the corridors and children running up and down. If you are fine with noise and luke warm showers this place will be fine

The room was constantly cold as no sun got in the room being hidden by a big building. Tea, coffee etc in room would of been nice, unlimited brunch was good but if you wake up early then you have to go down and pay for a hot drink (we ended up buying a little kettle to use in the room along with coffee etc) as we drink a lot of hot drinks so would be costly keep paying for hot drinks. Everything else was ok otherwise.

We enjoyed our first stay at the Tent Torremolinos however the Hotel is some distance away from the Beaches and a steep climb up and down the hillside to get to and from the hotel. If you are someone who has limited mobility this hotel wouldn’t be ideal.
Staff were very good and there are some nice restaurants nearby.

For the price point this is an excellent hotel. Stayed there twice and no doubt will return again. The free breakfast every day is amazing. The rooms are clean, comfortable and practical. Hotel is just a five minute walk from the train station. When I’m in Torremolinos, this just give me a hotel will always be my go to.

The staff in the tent are so friendly , helpful and professional.. I got a upgrade to a much larger room .. WiFi is excellent and the in bathroom is the best as height and power I’ve expierenced in any hotel I’ve stayed . The brunch until 1.30 is the best good choice hot and cold etc but the late serving no more dining room been overfull or waiting for table 👍 Overall I would award this establishment 9+. Keep up the standards Tent I will return again for sure

My husbands bag with passport money and cards & phone was stolen from the seat in the restaurant at 8am this morning we we due to fly to the U.K. at 11.30
This was horrendous the staff would not help the man on reception told us to go to the police station at the airport he just wanted rid of us
The police station at the airport told my husband to go to the police station at Malaga
Because we own a house in Olvera he decided to go there and use our local police who were very helpfull
We were not near the street we were in a breakfast room at the back of the hotel
I’ll never go back there again and as you were the providers of this stay I hold you responsible as well
You should know if somewhere is safe

Yes the room was spotless super clean.Staff were very helpful .Breakfast was beyond my expectations in big messive hall with a tent ⛺️ shape theme.we loved it.It was in the centre .8 Minutes on the taxi and Train station for airport thats only 4 stops to thhotel.City centre was on the same train withen 20 minutes. I just want suggest please provide kettle in the room for the tea and water bottles. Its not cost much but will appreciated.

Great location. Walking distance to the main shopping and dinning area in Torremolinos. Bed was super comfy! Check in staff (I think her name was Catherine) was so lovely and friendly and helpful with all my questions. No fridge or kettle, but amazing buffet breakfast until 1pm!! I had a Seaview room. Lovely to sit on balcony at the end of the day. Get down early to the pool if you want a sun bed!!

My recent stay at this hotel was not as comfortable as expected. The room lacked soundproofing, which made it difficult to rest due to noise from outside and the corridors. There was also a terrible smell coming from the drainage in the bathroom. Several basic amenities were also missing: there was no fridge, no in-room tea or coffee facilities, and the safe required an additional charge to use. Housekeeping did not service the room at all during my four-night stay, and it was only cleaned after I requested it. Even small conveniences came at a cost, such as being charged for ice.
On a more positive note, the buffet breakfast was satisfactory, with a good range of options and the added benefit of being available until 1:30 pm.
Overall, while the late breakfast was appreciated, the lack of essential amenities and inconsistent service detracted from the experience.

I had a great experience at the hotel and would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Torremolinos. The check-in process was straightforward and efficient, making it easy to settle in. The breakfast offered a fantastic variety and quality, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Enjoyed my stay. Love the location. Easy access to shops, transport, restaurants etc.
Its a nice and clean hotel. Good range of breakfast options, good wifi speed, and I particularly loved the balcony for afternoon light reading and watching the city go by.
Air condition worked in the room and good thing too cos it was hot. Wish there was a fridge but not a big issue as there is a tuck shop just outside the hotel where you can get your cold drinks.
I will be coming back here to this hotel if I visit Malaga, Spain again.

This is a perfect stay - brunch concept is cool and works well. Cleaners come in everyday - sea view rooms are stunning and worth paying the extra! Rosa on reception was so helpful. My card kept declining for some reason and she helped me so much! Only problems are tiny size of pool area. but big issue is how paper thin the walls are. you can literally hear every single noise. everything! if you are a light sleeper.....not so great.

Stayed for 12 nights and other than the brunch I wouldn’t recommend.

The brunch was excellent with plenty of vegetarian options and that’s where the positives stop.

Check in is rubbish. Everybody has to enter details into a touch screen machine which is rubbish and doesn’t work properly. All details per person staying even if it’s kids. So 4 time writing the same address. Shambles.

Walls are paper thin so you can get kept up by people watching tv. It sounds like it’s in your room.

The pool is dirty and the life guard tried to blame it on drinks. It wasn’t drinks it just wasn’t clean. Green algae on the sides of the pool. The pool area is very small with not many beds at all. The beach isn’t too far but is a steep walk with a lot of steps

Cleaning of the rooms was hit and miss. We had to ask them to clean our rooms 3 days running as they just didn’t do them.

I booked a 10-night stay at Tent Torremolinos (July 10–20), but I couldn’t last more than 2 nights. The experience was so bad that I had to fight with the staff to get a refund. Do NOT trust the reviews or the photos — they are completely misleading. This hotel cuts corners on EVERYTHING.

The walls are paper-thin. You’ll hear people talking from the rooms beside, above, and below you. The doors are flimsy, and every time someone opens a door nearby, your own door shakes or slams from the draft. It’s impossible to rest.

The WORST part: the air conditioning. They’ve locked the minimum temperature at 26°C — in the MIDDLE OF THE SUMMER, in southern Spain. The room was constantly hot, humid, and unbearable to sleep in.

There are only TWO ELEVATORS, for a 11 floor building with over 300 rooms, both old and sketchy. One barely fits one person, and you’ll wait at least 10 minutes every time you need to use it.

Staff seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Avoid PEPE at all costs — he made check-out unnecessarily complicated, blatantly lied about not receiving an Expedia email (I was CC’d, so I know he got it), and was rude throughout the process.

There’s no parking anywhere nearby, and frankly, Torremolinos is not car-friendly at all. One night, we spent 45 minutes driving around just to find a spot.

The only decent thing was the breakfast, but honestly, you can eat just as well (if not better) for a few euros at the cafés around.

Bottom line: staying at this hotel is *literally lik

The room was spacious and with a lovely view from the 10th floor. However, there was a determining factor which was a massive issue. I travel the world and stay in many hotels a year. Tent Torremolinos was the first one that didn’t have a fridge. I feel that in a holiday destination in South Spain where drinking water is of such poor quality and the heat is rather extreme, a small fridge is essential. In addition, if you are on holiday you may want to keep some beer or wine too to drink on your balcony. I think this is very poor standard for a 3-star hotel. When I asked in reception, they made it clear that they were not obliged to provide a fridge. I felt this was rather arrogant and instead they could have asked what they could have done to make my stay a little more pleasant. I am not impressed, Tent! I will not be going back there since there are so many better options and cheaper! This was £300 for two nights! A joke, really! If I were you, I would stay away from this place…
