Stressful check-in process
You book and pay and then they send you an email in Spanish to check-in but honestly who checks their emails right away. Then the geolocation is about a block away so you are scouring the block trying to find the hotel which is very stressful. Finally they WhatsApp you to tell you in English to secret address of the property. Btw their phone number listed was for an unrelated hotel so you’re calling an international number for nothing. Then they explain you have to check-in virtually in order for them to give you the codes to enter. So you’re checking in on the street (good thing it wasn’t raining) and then they give you the codes. Totally stressful. Then they continued to send you emails in Spanish rather than in multiple languages

Perfect location, everything is within walking distance. It has the wrong location on Google and I spent almost an hour with the Uber driver going up and down the street. The entrance door is not well-lit and not unique. It’s fine once you get inside. There is no number to call for customer service either so they really need to change that!

Location, location, location !!! This is probably one of the best locations in Madrid. Everything is walkable distance: la gran via, museums, shopping, restaurants, metro, bus stations, etc. Extremely convenient, clean, cozy, and comfortable, I'd stay here any time.

One minute from Tribunal metro station. Lots of bars, cafes and shops on door step. Room very clean. Bed so comfy. Powerful shower. Air conditioned. Would go back. Cudnt find at first as not well signposted but it’s next to the tattoo shop. Kebab shop at end of road is delicious.

Really difficult check in process. A WhatsApp message was sent just as we arrived but the place is very hard to find - the address was only given to us as we got to the general area. Entering the building is impossible. There is a series of bells to ring and time the automatic opening of the two interior doors to the apartment block but this took multiple attempts to work. Others staying there had the same issue. It involved numerous messages and attempts to get in, I think it’s a person on the bell who lets you in but honestly we tried 10 times to enter - super frustrating. Once you are in the rooms and space is great- basic, modern, clean and adequate despite being very small. Shame about getting into the building! Also if you struggle with stairs, there’s a lot in this building.

Very small room perfect for a one night stay. Don’t panic if you don’t get the access code emailed to you 24 hours before your stay. We got ours 15 minutes before the 2 pm checkin time on the day of our stay. Be sure to follow instructions in the earlier virtual checkin email and send your identification information before your stay. There is no front desk and staff at this hotel.

Not all stays at same place are the same
On a prior stay we had a reasonable size room with a bed we could walk around … this stay, at the same billing rate, we had a much smaller room with a bed butted up against the wall and a table at the end of the bed which made it difficult to use the bathroom in the night without disturbing my partner. I’m ok with climbing 3 floors to get to the room but not all travelers would be. I figured out the digital check in but think there may be travelers who would struggle with that as well. On my last stay, I noticed only the occasional noise but this stay i heard a lot of noise and think that some of the rooms are better sound insulated.

CH velarde es la peor experiencia que he tenido en un hotel, nadie atiende, no hay limpieza, no hay elevador, el checkin lo haces por correo y si te va bien te contestan. Llegamos y el cuarto no tenia luz. Escuchaba a todos los vecinos incluso en sus cuartos. Un vagabundo en invierno la pasa mejor.

人気の設備とサービスには、浴槽と記載があったのにシャワー室しかなかった。
グランビアまで徒歩１０分だけど遠く感じました。
それより遠い王宮まで６分と記載があり、間違っていると思います。
周りの環境は、ビンテージの洋服や通りのような感じで、壁の落書きは多く、周辺地域は、ちょっと怖い感じでした。もうここには二度と泊まらないでしょう。土曜日の料金は¥25,725です。エレベーターなしの４階の狭い部屋、とても高過ぎます。。選択失敗しました。

それより遠い王宮まで６分と記載があり、間違っていると思います。
周りの環境は、ビンテージの洋服や通りのような感じで、壁の落書きは多く、周辺地域は、ちょっと怖い感じでした。もうここには二度と泊まらないでしょう。土曜日の料金は¥25,725です。エレベーターなしの４階の狭い部屋、とても高過ぎます。。選択失敗しました。

El cuarto era demasiado pequeño y la cama no adecuada para dos personas. Se escuchaban las voces y ruidos de otras habitaciones. Y el check in fue un horror. No nos habían enviado el código de ingreso y demoramos la entrada al edificio que lejos estaba de parecer un hotel. The map location is incorrect, so don’t try to find it using Google maps. The room is very small, but it’s clean. It could be difficult for two people to stay here. There is no elevator, so carrying the luggage to the third floor could be difficult. Tbh, it’s very tricky to open the main door on the third floor. The best thing about the place is the location.
