Our room had a few hiccups but the staff were absolutely wonderful. From the night receptionist checking us in ( our flight made us 2 hours late) , to the cleaning and waiting staff. We arrived just after they had opened and a few hiccups with the room.

Room was immaculate and comfy beds. Child crib already set up and little one loved it. Our only issue was the temperature in the room during the day and night was extremely cold <13 degrees at points. We asked for the remote for the air con ( the manager didn't realise it was not in the room. But thankfully he got it for us) to turn the heating on for it to heat the room up but it turns out when the engineer arrived it needed regassed then a new part. Which didn't happen until the end of our stay ( but no fault of the engineers as he updated us to say the parts were coming ). Also the remote for the TV would not work correctly which we think it as the battery but after having these replaced it still did not work. The only downside was these 2. The staff were amazing , food delicious. The restaurant staff were great and constantly cleaning. Shout out to their wonderful games and friendly nature especially with our little boy.

The manager gave us advice on local shops for items ( check out the Chinese supermarket just across from pirates village) and all in all made the stay fab even tho they were desperately understaffed.

If this is how we were treated when short staffed and a few hiccups we will most certainly be back

We enjoyed our vacation in Plazamar Serenity Resort. When we went on half day tour they prepared us a to go snack.
The food was good. Everything was clean. Staff was nice.

Good location with easy access to the beach, restaurants and shopping facilities.
The hotel was in need of maintenance such as fixing windows so they close properly and general painting and decorating. Staff were generally helpful.

Great for short break

Two good size balconies, small studio room with small kitchenette, was clean tidy with helpful staff.

Close to Santa Ponca beach, pool area was nice but watch the artificial grass as it gets very hot.

Brilliant family holiday.

Great stay kids loved it all inclusive food beautiful didnt make much use of snack bar with food on so often, stayed across the road last year again was brilliant think entertainment was better in Julandia made made more use of snack bar and not so much of the all inclusive dinning as you had to cross the road... I think it would be a better idea to allow guests to go between 2 hotels as there is more pool space where pool place is much more limited in plazamar. Both two lovely hotels, with lovely staff

Our stay was extremely enjoyable, the staff and in particular Max were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic but did the job and were regularly cleaned with new towels, toilet rolls etc provided. The food and drinks were superb and would recommend to anyone planning on staying to go all inclusive. The location was fine, around a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to Daniels Corner

A gem in Santa Ponsa

Great studios which are spacious and have all the amenities you would need. Beautiful pool area, with slides and lifeguard so very safe. Reception staff are friendly and very helpful and all areas are very clean and well maintained.

Das Zimmer ist ungemütlich, die Betten sind NUR EINZEL BETTEN, also für Paare ist es überhaupt nicht geeignet,

Als ich der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption nach andere Zimmer gefragt habe , sagte er das wäre das letztes was er hat, das gleiche hat er die nächsten auch erzählt

Staff was friendly but housekeeping was sloppy. Perhaps the supervisor/manager was not keeping a close eye on the quality of their efforts. We had 3 in our room but over 7 nights the third bed/couch was only made twice. The \"efficiency\" was missing plates. We had to ask for toilet paper. Breakfast was good. Lunch was disappointing. We never had dinner there.

okay for price paid short cheap budget break

For the price we paid you cannot expect luxury.it was clean , 5 min walk to beach . We were self catering kitchen came equipped for prepping basics . Room cleaned daily and towel change . We extended room to 9 pm on dat if checkout for extra 40 euro . The pool isn’t very large and netting placed around it until late in morning restricting use ? There must be a reason for this but it does look unsightly . Beds not enough by far but then again no room to put any more of them so we didn’t use the pool at all . Entertainment ? I saw a bit of a disco in but by about 9 nothing going on at all . We didn’t mind but for those staying on all inc basis it would cause a problem I imagine

Home from home with plenty of fun in the sun

This was our third visit, and it’s improved! The food was excellent, fresh and replenished immediately. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The entertainment staff are very eager and enthusiastic. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The facilities are brilliant. The pool was clean, and the bathing area is kept clean and tidy. The location is good, close enough to the shops/restaurants/nightlife but far enough away so not to be noisy. Overall we had a fabulous time and will be re visiting!

Great Family Stay

First resort holiday with young children and the facilities were great. Staff were brilliant and they had activities for the youngsters during the day and evening. Food was delicious and even though we did not go for the all inclusive, dinner buffet was 15 euros for adults and free under 3yrs. Entertainment for all during evening.

Hotel for kids

Nice hotel a short walk from the main town so it was nice and quiet. Where the description says family friendly, it is definitely a family hotel with all entertainment directed only to kids. As a group of 3 22 year olds we felt prejudged when we turned up and were threatened with being evicted before we’d even set foot in our room. We were told no noise at night and no swearing or we would be gone. We were in Santa Ponsa for the reason we wanted a fairly quiet holiday.

Great family resort 5 minutes to beach and town. Good pools to suit everyone. Staff were all very helpful. Quick check in and help with day trips easily booked at reception.Spotlessly clean apartments. Cleaning staff checked apartment daily and renewed towels and sheets if needed.would definitely return to the Plazamar Serenity.

Lovely hotel great food and brilliant kids club staff , the food was lovely , unfortunately a big group of girls and boys checked in 2 days before we were due to leave and were very loud in the evening ha drinking swearing etc had to ring down to reception twice , this is supposed to be a family hotel so dissapointed that they booked big groups into the hotel , still enjoyed our holiday

When our party arrived at reception there were 4 policemen arresting a drunk hotel guest - not the best first impression.
We headed up to our room and were disappointed to find only two single beds and a pull out trundle bed which was so uncomfortable you could feel every slat through the thin mattress, there were also only two quilts, from the room description and photographs on the website we were expecting four single beds, I left it until the following morning and went to reception to find out if we could be moved to another room, the receptionists and the head housekeeper stood with their backs to me and my son, ignoring us for a good ten minutes before acknowledging our presence, I told them the problem we had with the beds but they said all the rooms were the same, however the said it would be best to speak to the manager to find out if he could do anything. When the manager arrived, the receptionist explained the situation and he came over to speak to me. Never, could you meet a more arrogant man, he looked my son and I over as I explained my problem and he point blank refused to do anything to resolve it, glaring at us like we were dirt, I felt intimidated and embarrassed and also let down. We had other issues throughout our stay, the shower curtain rail fell off, it was never put back, our sheets were never changed in the week we were there, I had to on two occasions ask for clean towels and toilet paper.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Lovely staff, value for money meals, pleasant pool areas particularly for the children, evening entertainment excellent again particularly for the kids however, we stayed on a ground floor apartment that had a paper thin door between our room and the next which made for an extremely noisy stay, the shower could only be described as a dribble, the shower curtain smelled of urine, maid turnover was poor , floors filthy so I asked for a brush and mob and after cleaning supervisor told me that one of the maids would do it, the maid came and handed me the brush and mop. I would make our beds each day and on doing so, cake across black and brown stains under the mattresses beyond usual wear and tear . Perhaps just an unlucky room.

Lovely complex close to beach.

Very disappointed in not being allowed to visit all my extended family staying in sister complex across the street. Was stopped at reception each time even though I explained my situation. Finally the manager was very rude and forced me to leave or he would call police. I was visibly upset but could not even sit on outdoor seat as it was private property. I’m a grandmother not a threat to hotel. It was awful experience. Staff otherwise were lovely. Manager terrible.

The hotel was obviously recently refurbished as everything was clean and new. The pool was large but cold as I’d expect at this time of year though. We didn’t stay all inclusive but those who did say it was good. We found the kitchen well supplied but the lack of an oven was not good and as you need your room card to keep electricity on you can’t cook stuff if go out. Think it would be really busy in summer though

Apartment big enough for myself and 3 adult daughters. Wasn't crowded at all. Everything we needed was included. Washing up liquid, tea towel, cloths etc, shampoo, soap and body wash all complimentary. Safe 20 euros (30 with 10 euro deposit refunded). Air con free. 2 cooking rings, microwave, decent size fridge with ice box. Decent balcony overlooking pool. Loads of loungers but not that much space around pool. Evening buffet meal 15 euros includes free drinks, amazing choice of food and loads of choice for my vegetarian daughters. Hot powerful shower and nice size bathroom all very very clean. Really central for beach, trips, restaurants, cash machines.

Nice hotel lovely rooms apart from air conditioning units are on the balcony. They ruin the balcony as you are unable to sit on it in comfort due to the heat it gives off. You can't get sun beds until exactly 09.00 this is too late in the morning as many people like to enjoy the lower temperature of early morning sun, I think 08.00 would be much better. Great position and large supermarket only 10 mins walk

Upon arrival to the Plazamar Apartments we were given the keys to a studio apartment to find 4 x single beds in a line in a rather small room and not as described on the web site, i returned to the reception desk if the apartment was correct and if possible to swap 2 x single beds for a double for me and my wife and my daughter and grandson could have the single beds. I was told by the reception that this was the booked room and no beds could be changed and if i wanted to upgrade i could get the beds required. Due to the small room and 4 x single beds we had to upgrade at a cost of 210 euros. I am a regular customer with Expedia and unhappy with the receptionist unwilling to cooperate with my need for a double bed with-out upgrading to a separate room. Mr Power

Didn't get what I booked and paid for. Booked a pool view room but got a view of stinking bins and of course hotel was full to change us. Asked twice for baby cot, didn't receive it. Room very dirty, stains on sheets and long dark hair on the mattresses, blankets and sheets. I had a special sponge for cleaning baby bottles which disappeared after the first night when housekeeping cleaned the room. Couple of days later housekeeping just walks in the room even though the room was locked from inside. WiFi is very poor. The only good thing is the location of the hotel.

Nice hotel, away from the hustle and bustle.

Nice hotel, ten minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the beach area. Food was nice, of good quality and varied. Entertainment was enjoyable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Cleanliness of the bathroom was a bit iffy and the apartment walls needed a lick of paint. However, it was the end of the season and probably wear and tear. In summary, it was a cheap break, you get what you pay for and we had a great time.

Relaxing week in a lovely place

The Plazamar is a great apartment complex with wonderful staff. Only 10 minutes walk to the beautiful beach of Santa Ponsa and close to shops, restaurants etc. All areas of the complex kept clean and the room was spotless and well maintained. Housekeeping service excellent and cleaned daily with fresh towels. Cannot find anything negative to say about the place.

Everything exceptional value for money. Lovely spacious clean rooms, fresh towels everyday. Food of good high quality with lots of choices at every meal. Plenty of snacks and drinks available throughout the day.
Entertainment for kids and adults. All in all a very good holiday, certainly will recommend and return to this complex.

Nice hotel, slides in pools for kids. Air con that actually works 👍🏻 rooms nice and clean, modern. Food in hotel good, we did not go all lnclucive. Reasonable price.
Good entertainment every night. Kids disco & kids club from age 3 up. This is why we booked this hotel. The kids wanted to go to the kids club morning & afternoon. It was very good, t shirt painting, pyj party until 11pm one night. They were even fed free on some occasions. Fully air conditioned room for them to cool down and play. All the kids loved the disco on the night.
We were put in sister hotel across the road, first night due to hotel double booking but we were compensated with free meal & drinks. The sister hotel was very good too, amazing pools and slides.
Hotel is no more that 10 mins to the beach walking down flat road. All the reasturants are in same area, we had quite a few bad meals, even after going on trip advisor to find good reviews like the Bock steak house, steaks were very poor.
We ate at Xalot up the bank on left in town most night because the food was always good, large parties would need to go early or book. Also a favourite was Sakura Asia, fabulous meal and take out sushi one night. In town on leftover first roundabout. Further up that road going up towards Pirates village, you will find a big supermarket. Santa ponsa is stunning, beach is long and wide even in peak time (July/Aug to was not to busy. Many shop & reasturants.

Very good location, close to beach and some local shops. Great all inclusive packages, bar staff overly generous with spirits which is great for some... Good hotel for families with kids; Barbara looking after small ones was a great plus. Hotel offers kids play room and evening entertainment for children and adults.
Good pool and food, for all inclusive guests bar snacks available in between the meals.
Minus point is the quality of internet. It is chargeable and very poor.
I work in a hotel business and I am aware internet in hotels isn't great somehow but in mine we don't charge for it. 30 euro for 1 week of internet usage might not be a lot but not a great value for money if Internet is not working at all. Mentioned at reception, they said it should be fine and promised to email/call company that provides with internet but as I hate complaining did not esquire any further what the problem was. Overall happy with hotel and would recommend it.

Enjoyed a late summer break at the Plazamar. We had a spacious well equiped studio/apartment. The room was cleanded and towels changed evey other day. I found the cleaning staff and the reception people to be very friendly and helpful. I will return to Santa Ponsa and the Plazamar!

Nice sized hotel in good location

Overall the hotel was good. It's in a good location, approx 10 minute walk to the main shops/restaurants. There were mainly families and couples in the hotel and the rooms are a good size and recently refurbished. Soft drinks/ beer and wine were self service (for all Inc guests) which saved queuing
The negatives: I feel the hotel are cutting costs with cleaning, rooms aren't cleaned every day and I never saw the pool area cleaned during our stay, which meant the floor was very sticky ( from spilt drinks). The main problem was that the restaurant (which was only quite small) is also used by all Inc guests from the hotel across the road which made it a very chaotic place and there weren't enough waiting on staff during meal times

The Plazamar apartments are lovely. Our room was spacious, clean and lots of storage space! Plus we had a big balcony which was great for our little one to stretch his legs! I thought it was brilliant that we was all inclusive and still had a kitchen, came in very handy!
The restaurant was great, breakfasts were amazing, plenty of choice. Lunch and dinner did become a little repetative but you get what you pay for. We ate out some nights to have a little break which was lovely, great restaurants nearby. Drinks litterally on tap, wine, beer, soft drinks, just help yourself. Restuarant close to the pool so didnt have to walk far to get a drink. Ice-cream machine was fab, my son loved it! Popcorn nice as well. You would never go hungry or thirsty here!
Location was so good, about 10 min walk to beach, shops, restaurants. Loved our strolls everynight!
I found these apartments much quieter then the sister hotel next door but did like to go over the road for the little one to enjoy kids club and pools were brilliant!

Overall I loved this hotel and we had a fantastic first holiday. Great value for money and will definately return!!!!!

Hotel was basic but to be as expected for the price paid, staff werent overly helpful and wben enquiring about upgrading to all inclusive for a day which we were told we could do at check in we were then to,d you could only take it as a minimum of three days. Cleanliness of hotel was fair although a slight smell of damp within the rooms but nothing you couldnt live with for a few days.

About a 5 minute stroll from the beach and 10 minute stroll from the nightlife.
The bottom of the pool could do with new grouting but the pool area is clean and tidy and there are plenty of sunbeds.
The rooms are spacious and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. Fridge, mixcrowave hob and toaster come as standard but these days you expect a hairdryer so it's lucky I took my own. Aircon is free so that's a bonus.
Restaurant looked ok but we didn't eat there as we were self catering so can't comment. The staff keep the noise levels down and the only thing we heard was the odd chair being moved across the floor above. All in all I would stay again. Bit dated but you get what u pay for

Nice hotel, good location in family friendly resor

Plazamar apartments are situated a short walk from the beach and main shops/restaurants. The pool is lovely both suitable for adults and children. We stayed in a studio advertised as having four single beds, infact it was two single beds and a sofa bed but was adequately comfortable. The room had working air conditioning.
The resort is very relaxed and well maintained, ideal for families or for groups of friends wanting a more relaxing holiday, although the bright lights of Magaluf are only a short bus ride away.

Nice chill hotel for a quiet time

Very family friendly, good for a vacation where you are looking to lay low. Chairs around the pool get taken quickly, so it is a good idea to go out and get a good spot early on. The beach is a fairly close walk from the hotel and there is a little grocery store up the hill. Easy to walk into town where there are many shops and restaurants. You have to pay for wifi which is a bit disappointing. Overall the staff was quite friendly and we had a nice, relaxing time.

Good Experience, Recommended with Kids

I wanted a nice pool, location close to the beach & restaurants/shopping. All points were ticked. Kids entertainment saved my holiday as my daughter just loved the mini club and evening entertainment. Mom got very rare and special time for herself and her book :)

Spent there 4 nights and it was wonderful. Definately recomending all inclusive package, food was delicious and prepared with high standard. Location is excelent only 5 mins from beach and city centre. Only one down side is 5€ internet per day?! But in the end its nice to be without it sometimes :) Definately voming back in future

Recently back from a long weekend in Majorca. We ( 2 adults, 2 boys, 1x10yr &1x 6yr) were staying in Santa Ponsa, which was our first time to this area. We were not disappointed. What a lovely friendly place.
We stayed at Plazamar hotel and had no real problems whatsoever. Close to shops, restaurants, cafe's and beach, but not too close to find in noisy at all (apart from the early starting cleaners who I think were based rather too close to our room!)

The reception staff were superb, very friendly, and welcoming, not to mention full of helpful hints and ideas about our trip.
We only booked this hotel at the last minute as we had problems with our original booking, and although the place could do with a bit of tlc, we were delighted with it.

Finally worth a mention, It was my birthday whilst we were there and although we had not mentioned to anyone, the hotel sent up a card and bottle of wine to help us celebrate. A nice touch :0)

I found everything good except the reception staff, on checking a male member of staff was very rude, we had late flight at night so it seem to be an inconvenience to him coz it was late at night. Other than that it was a good stay.

We were four adults and two children (boy 10 and girl 7). We chose the all-inclusive option and stayed for one week in late June 2012. The hotel was just fine: any amenities that weren't provided could be rented through the front desk (hair dryer, stroller, etc.). The restaurant, front desk and childcare staff all spoke English and were very helpful and friendly. The kid's club activities were lots of fun for our 7-year old. The nightly entertainment was an unexpected added bonus: think a parrot show, acrobats, magicians. Three things I wish we had known: we can use the amenities at the sister hotel GranIsla resort across the street at no additional charge (pools are great but deep, and you have to buy all your own food); you have to provide your own towels for the pool (we ended up buying some cheap ones in town); and it is faster and cheaper to take a taxi to the resort from the airport than a shuttle bus. Santa Ponsa's beach is gorgeous and an easy two-block walk away. I wish we had pulled ourselves away from the fun pool more often, but it was hard to leave! The food was good - ever-changing and a wide variety of choices. I feel the all-inclusive option was well worth it, especially when you consider it includes alcoholic beverages, snacks and all meals. Staff were very friendy and helpful. We were the only North Americans there; this resort is a popular family destination spot with people from the UK, especially Scotland and Ireland. There were lots of other children at the resort. Wear sunscreen! We saw lots of kids with bad sunburns.

Great budget family oriented hotel

The hotel is budget and the rooms were dated. They were however super clean and the beds comfortable. The food was average a few stand outs but the kids were pleased and that is half the battle. The food is a mixture of Spanish and American. I would recommend doing the all inclusive food and drinks as the neighbourhood restaurants aren't Spanish so I am not sure if the food would be any different then at the restaurants. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Again I mention the place is super clean and was a great value considering how little we paid to stay there. It is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach but the pool is great and there were always plenty of loungers. We also were informed we could use the larger pool across the street at their sister location although I preferred the one at Plazamar just more so for its layout. The food times and entertainment all started on the later side ( breakfast at 8am, dinner 7pm, entertainment 8pm and 10:30pm ) but we let the kids stay up late and help themselves to the food. They loved the hotel.

This would be a perfect budget place to take the family.

Härligt ställe för familjen. Lägenhet som gör det möjligt att laga egen mat. Otrolig entertainer 6 dagars veckan, fantastisk med barnen - de älskade honom och det syntes att han älskade sitt jobb. Gjorde hela resan rolig och underbar. Fint, rent, bra service. Vi hade ingen mat inkluderad, men talade med några som hade all i klusi e, barnfamilj, mycket nöjda. Nära till havet och staden med affärer och restauranger
Kommer gärna hit igen!

Great hotel with entertainment every night.
Alex with colleges was very service minded.
The absolute best was the food, All inclusive food is a challenge to eat for a week, but this place hade the best all inclusive food I ever had.
The only drawback was very bad and uncomfortable pillows in the apartment.
We will come back again, and bring own pillows.

Nice Hotel with good airco and everything needed, very friendly staff and nice pool. We asked for a special need and staff fixed that tight away.
Also great point that hotel is close to main beach and blvrd with stores, restaurants and bars. Pool area has his lifeguard all day present and entertainment had everybody happy.
We had a great time in Santa Ponsa and Plazamar Serenity Resort !!!

Vastaanoton henkilöstö erittäin ystävällisiä. Siivous heikkoa, 2 kertaa viikon aikana huonosti siivottu. Hotelli kaipaa kaikilta osin remonttia. Ääni eristys todella heikko, huoneisiin kuuluu kun ihmiset istuvat yö myöhään allas baarissa. Uimavalvojalle eritys pisteet, todella tarkka koko ajan ja piti yllä allasalueen sääntöjä.

Vastaanoton mies oli ystävällinen, baarin/ravintolan henkilökunta ei niinkään. Paikka täynnä brittejä, varailivat altaalta paikkoja ennen avautumista. Uima-altaan piti avautua klo 10, usein vasta puoli tuntia myöhemmin kun allas oli imuroitu. Pienehkö ja kulunut allasalue, huonosti mahtui uimaan.

Ravintolassa lasit, lautaset ja aterimet likaisia. Pulut lensivät pöydillä. Joku ruoka aina loppu. Mautonta ja lähes aina samaa varsinkin jälkiruoat. Ampiaisia lenteli ruokaan.

Iltashowt todella surkeita, en tiedä mistä ovat löytäneet niin huonot esiintyjät. Olivat niin kamalia että jaksettiin yleensä katsoa 10min. Show alkoi klo 21.30 ja loppui vasta klo 23, musiikki kuului huoneeseen asti.

Siivous vain joka toinen päivä, usein ei silloinkaan. Kuuden yön yöpymisen aikana lakanat vaihdettiin viimeiseksi yöksi pyynnöstä, pyyhkeet kaksi kertaa, kerran saatiin vain pari pyyhettä kun ne oli loppuneet.

Lasin siruja oven edessä, parveke hiekkainen ja siivoojan hiuksia lattialla. Suihku rikki. Linnun ulostetta parvekkella. Yleiset tilat epäsiistejä, mm. ruokaa ja juomaa lattialla.

En menisi uudelleen, enkä suosittele hotellia.

Fuimos con niños y para ellos es estupendo, tranquilo, con animación, piscina,… un ambiente muy familiar.
La comida es muy variada y muy buena.
El personal muy amable en general.
Se puede ir a la playa caminando. Hay súper cerca.
Lo malo, las tumbonas las reservan con la toalla súper temprano, no debería estar permitido, tú buscas tumbona después y a pesar de que están vacías estás ocupadas con toalla.
La animación infantil podría variar un poquito, al llevar varios días se hace muy repetitiva.

Hotellet har en fin exteriör, trevlig personal och bra läge nära stranden. Balkongen var trevlig och sängarna var helt okej att sova i. Köket var dock inte så välutrustat, ibland kröp myror i badrummet och det var extremt lyhört.

Överlag, helt okej med tanke på att det var relativt billig.
