Spotlessly clean, room cleaned & fresh towels everyday.
We stayed for 4 nights, check in was very quick & easy, the staff were very helpful, I requested an extra pillow & blankets which were no trouble & brought to our room within 5 minutes.
Ideally located, bus stop directly opposite, 5 minute walk to the beach & shops.
Would definitely stay again.

I would recommend this hotel.
We had eggs, bacon, toast and coffee three times. Which for us was a good breakfast option.

Room was bigger than i thoight but unfortunately the Air conditioning didnt work the first night we got that which was frustrating so the sexond day we had to switch rooms and the new room was a lot smaller but not that it really made muchnof a difference. The hair dryer didnt work in the new room tho. Just little things they need to sort out. The staff were very nice and also there to help. Prices on food and drink were decent. Just a shame they only had 2 pizza on offer from the about the 12 they had on the leaflet.

Perfect for one nights stay for us 12 mins from the airport, nice afternoon at the beach. Shower decent.
Room a little dated, could do with a small fridge. Beds decent. Air con decent.

Hotel's good but what makes the Carmen Teresa excellent is the staff and 24/7 bar service. Bar is open all night and food is available. The food and cocktails are as good as anywhere in La Carihuela.

The staff cannot do enough for you and made my stay memorable. They went the extra mile and booked the El Ranchito horse and flamenco show phoned 2 different operators and printed the ticket. They also checked that my return transfer was still active.

Perfecto Para Mi

A delightful, typically Spanish hotel with the extra bonus of a beautiful tranquil garden. A bus stop outside to either Torremolinos or Benalmadena. The beach is just a 4 minute walk away with an abundance of restaurants and shops. It’s a cozy, friendly hotel with staff that go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one.
Special thanks to Aline, Misha, Victor, Cat and Encarna who cares for the beautiful garden. All the staff were super helpful and I felt safe and relaxed there.

Stunning gardens and great little pool.

Check in was fast. I was 3 hours early and my room was ready. The room is a good size, little dated but very clean. The bathroom did look updated. Shower pressure wasn’t the best but adequate. The air con was perfect and the wifi was really good, quite fast and reliable, even at the pool area. And the pool area is stunning. Beautiful well kept gardens and a lovely swimming pool that wasn’t freezing cold like other hotels I’ve stayed in. Would stay here again and it’s also exceptional value for money.

Amazing garden especially at night time when you can smell the magnolias.

The staff are brilliant and were very professional during the power cut that affected Spain. They handled it really well at what felt like a time of crisis. Cool and calm and they just carried on being hospitable.

Good bar area with nice Alhambra beer. 4 minutes walk away from the beach.. can't go wrong.

Good, well-managed hotel with helpful staff.

We had arrived at Málaga Airport and picked up our hire car before heading over to the hotel. We were made welcome and everything was explained to us clearly.

The room we were given faced onto a very quiet side road. It had a large balcony with a table and two seats.

We have stayed here previously and really like it.

Good Location.

Hard to beat

carmen Teresa goes from better to better,thanks to Mercedes…..who runs a tight ship.Cool laid back atmosphere in very Spanish surroundings.Perfect location for La Carihuela Torremolinos Benalmadena and Fuenguirola (bus stop outside).Look forward to my next visit!

Lovely family run hotel.
Reception very helpful regarding trips to Gibraltar, Al Hambra Palace ,Cordoba as well as local transport help .
Bus stop to Malaga and Mijas just outside hotel steps. And beach approx 2-3 minutes walk .
Also lovely pool and garden at hotel. We will definitely use this hotel again.

I had an excellent greeting from a male receptionist, and indeed nearly all of the staff including those doing bar, grounds and cleaning work are very polite and professional. I was given a top floor room (which I had asked for) and it was a good size with ample storage space, a lovely light en suite and balcony. The room was in the corner of an L shaped building however, so therefore on view for anyone on a neighbouring balcony if the curtains were not drawn. The television was excellent- many UK regular channels available. Throw in an in room safe and have optional extra blankets in the room and the stay would be perfect. The hotel is on a main road close to two train stations and within easy reach of both Torremolinos and Benalmadena. It also has some well tended grounds with enough space for sunloungers and a small swimming pool.

After travelling through Europe decided to finish with some sunshine in torremilinos,the welcome I received from the receptionist Mercedes was first class , definitely the right person for the job ,very helpful and friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to see me .Hotel good value for money and only two streets back from the beach , room was cleaned everyday,not always the case as stayed in a different hotel in torremilinos and moved because it was run down and not cleaned .If your looking for exceptionally helpful staff ,stay here ,big thank you to Mercedes.!

Delightful Hotel.

Delightful small hotel old style Spain staff were so friendly especially Mercedes. I had an issue with building noise she stopped it. It’s basic but very pleasant for my 6 nights and price was amazing. I’ll definitely go back.

Lovely friendly hotel

Location is good, walkable from the train station and a bus directly outside to go to Malaga or Benalmadena or further down the coast. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes walk to either along the promenade.
Cleanliness is immaculate!

Older hotel, but clean and comfortable. Wonderful service. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants, but it is a bit of an uphill hike to the train station if you're going into Malaga. It's about six euros to take a taxi to the train. Great value for the area. Wonderful garden.

Basic rooms but very clean. Daily housekeeping. Balcony was great for sitting out at night or morning. Staff friendly. Felt safe at all times which as a womam travelling alone was important. The hotel is ai expected . Nice friendly and helpfull staff . Alas with covid 19 there isnt an atmasphere in the bar. People now bring their drinks onto the lawn I have been there on numerous occasions it is only 300 meters from the beech and losts of eateries . Its a nice quite friendly place.

Lovely hotel five minutes from the beach and easy to get to by car from the motorway. We found a parking place opposite the hotel wjich was perfect.
Clean, friendly, air conditioned room with balcony.
Hotel has a bar, pool, lovely garden with pool and serves a very good breakfast for only 7€.

The hotel is ok, a little in need of updating. It's a bit out from the centre of torremolinos and about a 10 minute walk downhill to the beach at carahuela and the shops and restaurants. Took about 5 minutes to get hot when we arrived in the evening and failed to get any hot water to shower in the morning. This was just an overnight stop en route to the airport so it was just a bed for the night so for £30 it wasn't to bad.

Good sized rooms with large balconies. Large bathroom with really good shower. Staff are fantastic. Asked if i could hire a fridge, had one cleaned and in the room in under 15 minutes, no charge. Garden is nice to chill in. Pool and sunbeds have seen better days but done the job. Rooms at the front get loads of sun, but on the main road so no good for light sleepers. I had no problems sleeping and will book the same room again. The only downside was the breakfast, not very good or hot but there is a microwave. Toast takes 15 minutes! I will definitely be going back and would recommend it. Thanks again to all the great staff.

Family Run Hotel close to beach

Lovely family run hotel. Spotlessly clean, well stocked bar. Glorious gardens with beautiful flowers and shrubs. Pool very nice with plenty of sun loungers. Hotel is on a busy main road, our room was at the front and was noisey to sit out but once door closed you couldn’t hear a thing. Room a good size however next door’s bathroom was on our wall and you could hear everything we didn’t appreciate being woken up at 6am by hearing some using the toilet and shower which was extremely loud. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would return again with ear plugs!!
