We booked this hotel to be near the beach and it had all the amenities we needed. The room was clean and spacious, the view from the balcony was great, the enormous bathroom had a shower and a whirlpool bath! Having a kettle and a fridge,made it possible for us to have early morning cups of tea and night caps. Perfect temperature in the pool to swim and cool off. All in all a WONDERFUL stay. I’d book again in a heartbeat!

Lovely quiet little hotel rather than the taller highly populted ones, tucked away, a short walk down to the promenade. Plenty of choices for breakfast but you are in Spain so don't expect a full english. The staff are very pleasant and were more than happy to help when asked. Rooms are spacious with large bathroom and individual patio or balcony. Small but lovely saltwater pool, heated in the winter. Highly recommended

The location is a short distance from the costal path. We particularly liked the intermate feeling of the hotel and the sense of privacy you feel when on your balcony area and around the pool with fellow travellers.

The hotel is nicely placed in a quiet area with just a short walk to the beach. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The fridge in the room was not. It clicked on every few minutes and was very noisy. If I could have found a way to turn it off we would have slept better. As it was it was disturbing. To be fair, had we been staying longer I am sure the staff would have solved the problem.

We stayed for 10 days the mattress were very hard and they gave us very soft toppers but that was too soft for me so they gave us another one and it was good very happy with the service very friendly and clean in a quiet area we didnt have breakfast as we needed halal option for us the only down side (for us) was that there were hills alot of them and we had to carry baby pram but still enjoyed it over all very happy would highly recommend the hotel p.s really enjoyed morning breakfast in the patio 😊

We have stayed at this hotel on various occasions but the last time was actually longer than I thought it was and the management has actually changed from our other visits. There are a few changes and one is that the parking is no longer free as it once was but you are paying a minimal ten Euros. The pool seems to have been overhauled and now has a rail by the steps which was not there before making it easier to get in. The breakfast is a buffet style and though adequate there is not as much choice as there once was. We stayed in the Japanese suite for the first time and it was super comfortable, I really liked the bed on the floor and the deep Japanese bath tub which due to the heat I filled up with cold water and any time during the night when it was too hot (the room is air conditioned but my wife gets headaches if it is on too long) I just jumped in and cooled down a bit. My wife would have found it difficult to actually sleep on that bed so they Kindly placed another bed in the room that was what we are typically used to. The service can not be faulted, the staff are all helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. I can highly recommend this hotel and I believe it is one of the friendliest in Torremolinos.

The hotel is a gem! We had a beautiful little room with a private patio, and it was quiet and comfortable. Service was great, and breakfast was very nice. Short walk to the beach. I was pleased to be in a quiet area when I saw how loud and busy the beach area is! This hotel was unexpectedly lovely.

This hotel is a little gem. It is spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was fresh and although the choice was not huge, it was certainly adequate. The beach is only a 10 minute walk, where there are lots of restaurants and bars.
My only suggestion would be to bring your own iron as there are none in the room and the one that I was provided with was a very tiny travel iron. Otherwise I can't really fault it.

This is a gem of a place. Situated on a quiet street (parking is just around the corner), and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Staff, cleanliness, breakfast, location-all outstanding! A lovely balcony to relax on...small pool in front yard. Highly recommend this place👍

A small hotel, ideal for the independant traveller looking for something a little different. Run by two Japanese ladies, the hotel has large rooms/bathrooms, adequate terraces, a very clean pool area and a comfortable lounge area. On the roof is a sun terrace, jacuzzi and sauna - you book by the hour and have exclusive access. The location is quiet but a short walk gets you to the Mercadona supermarket, the train station, two bus routes (one goes to Malaga). The seafront is about 8 minutes downhill - 6 Euro taxi back uphill. Highly recommended

This is a super little hotel. Set in a residential area a few streets back from the seafront. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating. There is a lovely pool that gets the sun all day and as the hotel is so small it is never overcrowded.

The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable, the room was spacious and the bathroom had both a shower and bath.
The free breakfast was filling and the free wifi was fast.
The complimentary pick up and drop off from the train station was a nice touch.

Excellent service from all of the hotel staff, very helpful from the time we arrived until our departure (nothing was too much trouble!). It's extremely clean and comfortable and has lots of little extras to offer. Our room was next to the pool which was a bonus! The hotel is located slightly away (a short 10 minute walk) from the hustle and bustle of the sea front and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from along the marina. I would definitely recommend and return to this hotel.

This is a delightful small hotel with only a few rooms and wonderful service. No elevator, but staff insist on carrying bags. Excellent breakfast included in rate. Not on beach, about a 8 minute walk, but has a very nice pool.

This hotel has 5 star service! It's extremely clean and comfortable and has lots of little extras that make it special. Beautiful gardens and tended pots, personal service and an amazing roof terrace that we were offered to clean up before heading home that had a jacuzzi, sauna and shower. I will definitely return! exceptional little hotel, highly recommended
All the staff were really friendly and helpful and owned/run by lovely people from japan, so has some little japanese touches around , rooms were kept spotlessly clean with fresh towels and toiletries every day. We opted to use the jacuzzi and sauna on the roof terrace for which there was no extra charge for an hours sole use of this, which was a really nice extra touch that you wouldn't get at most places. We only stayed for 3 nights/2 days. Just before arriving i was emailed asking if i would like a sushi/sushimi platter on arrival, if we required parking, when we expected to arrive/depart, if we had any special dietry requirements for breakfast and if we needed collecting from the train station. Although in a nice neighbourhood and near the beach, it was about a 20minute or so walk from the bars/restaurants on benalmadina marina as the restaurants nearby that we could find were of a poorer standard, but this distance didnt really have any impact on our stay. If coming from malaga airport i would advise to get the train to El Panillo for only a few euros each.

Location - it's in a residential area but 5 minutes walk and you are on the beautiful beach with loads of bars and restaurants so you can have best of both worlds staying at this hotel - would definitely recommend if you want to stay in a quiet area but still want to enjoy nightlife nearby.

None Better in Torremolinos
I have to agree with the other reviewers that the Hotel Luna Blanca is superb. It mostly has to do with Chizuko and her personal touch. In fact, I extended my stay a week. The place is spotless and well maintained. The breakfast is superb and the location is just what I look for in a hotel--off the beaten path, yet close to the beach and the action. I would not even consider staying anywhere else in Torremolinos.

The hotel and pool area are absolutely spotless. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Going back to the hotel from the beach and local amenities there is a small climb but this should not be a problem for most able bodied people. If there was one gripe it was that the attention from the staff, particularly at the buffet breakfast, might come across as being just too helpful instead of just letting the guests get on with it.

All the staff were extremely helpful and professional, even giving us lifts to and from the train station that was a 10 minute walk! The varied daily breakfasts were served with a smile and were very well presented, tasty and filling, eaten on the veranda looking towards the swimming pool and garden, lovely start to the day! The pool and the hotel was always quiet and peaceful, not a party hotel!! Situated in a residential area, up a hill ( the only slight downside) but within walking distance of the beach and shops.

I love this hotel. I don't know why it's only 2 star. It should be at leat a 4 stars hotel. The room is super clean and staff is super helpful and the breakfast is great. There are 2 type of breakfasts, Japnese and western. Both are great. The location is a bit away from beach (about 10 minute walk to beach and 10 minute to the El Piniilo station) but night is quite. All in all it's a lovely lovey hotel. If we go to spain again we will stay here again,

Arrived at the train station in the rain - one phone call and we were picked up and taken to the hotel. An immediate upgrade to a junior suite. Had trouble getting wifi access so was given an ADSL lead which worked perfectly. Staff all polite and helpful with maps, timetables, suggestions of places to visit etc. Local biological park well worth a visit. Peaceful location just a few minutes walk to the beaches. Small supermarket in the next road. Very clean all around the hotel and kept so during our week there. Taken back to the station by car.

This hotel is really as good as its reviews. Costa Del Sol has had its day and has clearly suffered from the recession in mainland Spain. This hotel stands head and shoulders above all else. If you want personal service with a genuine smile then you'll have to go a long way to beat this hotel. I'd go so far as to say I challenge anyone to find one certainly in the Costas. We (2 adults)paid £290 for 4 nights stay with breakfast. That's approx £35 per person per night for a top quality B&B.

Go to Benalmadena port for a variety of restaurants or simply grab a table in the port and watch the world go by.
You can walk for miles and miles along the front if that floats your boat or as we did hire a car and explore the coastline.
