Despite the room and hotel looking perfectly nice, I wouldn’t stay here again. We paid for both breakfast and dinner, the food was okay and there was a range of options which would cater for most. However, the staff were incredibly hostile to us, although perfectly nice to others, which ruined our stay. Throughout our stay here we grew to believe it was ageism, coming to this conclusion after we (two young women) were followed late at night by the hotels own security guard. This behaviour is disgusting and throughly scared us (as it would any other young women), particularly after coming into the hotel wanting to feel safe and secure. Furthermore, the area the hotel is situated in is not the nicest of areas so I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you wish to complete activities or sight see locally.

Stayed here one night before going to an apartment but when we got to the apartment, it was appalling, so we went back and booked in the Triton for the remaining 10 days of our holiday. Booked bed, breakfast and evening meal. Food is excellent with ample choice. The lasagne was so tasty. Drinks in bars were very reasonable and the Sky bar was great, even in December. Staff are so friendly and reception staff were so helpful with our return booking.

Hotel is huge and amazing location with stunning views. We stayed here near Christmas and still the staff was so kind to upgrade us as it was my hudband’s birthday. Evenjng shows and bingo was fun, bar was great as well. Only couple of things which we did not like; cleanliness within the rooms was not that top notch as 4 star hotel standards. Also, the cafe/bar did not have any food being served which was a bit of a let down. It rained few days and we would have loved to be able to get some snacks or light food options within the hotel’s premises. Dinner and breakfast was overly busy as the hotel is huge with only one restaurant. We always struggled to find table and then had to wait for a lot of things to be refilled as food was getting finished too quickly and they were a bit late to refill. Overall it was great but would like the hotel to look into these issues so people can have the best experiences.

This hotel was recently refurbished and in the main good. The food was ok. It lacked variety in the evening with only a few changes to the food on offer - as many items were very similar each day. The service at the reception desk was very good. However, service in the bar and snack area in the day was appalling. The bedroom was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. The location and proximity of the hotel to the beach was great, with lots to do around this area. There was also SPA onsite. However, this came at an additional cost and the lady that worked in there was both not helpful or happy with her role. In the main this hotel was good but just lacked that personal touch to make it much better.

Only fairly big negative is the attitude of the staff in the sky bar, we were there 3 nights and every night zero friendliness, wouldn’t smile, borderline rude and couldn’t look like they hated their job more. Also the sky bar is screaming out for some music, atmosphere is dead.

This hotel is newly renovated and absolutely beautiful. Every detail for your comfort is within the rooms.
It’s a bit unusual in that it is huge and there are absolutely loads of lounge areas but they are also mostly empty and there isn’t an easily accessible open bar during the day. Also we were told on arrival check in was 4 despite being detailed online a 2. We had a wedding to attend so this wasn’t great

The swimming pools are super clean, one is more for swimmers, another one for babies and the main one to chill.
Overall, everything is still brand new / recently renovated in the property and in the rooms, you can't really complain about anything.
Breakfast is quite good (but not amazing), but we've been there for 3 nights, let's say it was enough, as the food was the same every single morning.
Staff is friendly as well.
We saw a couple of entertainments in the evening, unfortunately it was quite poor I would say.
Near the hotel, you'll find many tourist shops and restaurants on the main road along the beach, but besides that, the area doesn't offer any interesting cultural stuff to visit (but it's probably not what people are looking for in that city I guess).
The beach in front of the hotel is far from the best, and you have to cross a little path to access it.
Also on the - side, we were supper disappointed by the parking fees. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and paid 1.400€ for that. And we still had to add 15€ per day for the parking :s Same for the wellness access... it's an extra cost. At that price range, those kind of services should be included.
Overall, the hotel itself is great, brand new and confortable, but at some point it's also missing a bit of a \"soul\".

I would say 3 star hotel and we are thankful to only be staying one night. It’s right near the marina though so good location. Pools x 3 no adult only pool so if you’re looking for relaxation don’t book this

Unfortunately you can only write 1500 letters so I cannot describe my experience in detail but I wouldn’t return to this hotel, especially as I have been coming to Benalmadena for years and stayed in the majority of hotels in the area.
The toilets around the hotel were minging and only cleaned twice a day, morning and evening which for a hotel resort is disgusting. Staff were not very helpful in dealing with first aid incidents as my mother fell and bashed her knee on marble stairs and I was told no one could go and get me some ice and I had to go and get it myself from the bar. The hotel is ridiculously big and none of the 3 blocks are accessible to each other so good luck if you are not in the block where the pool bar is, it will take you a good 10 minutes just to go to the pool or breakfast. The breakfast area was just a free for all, all the food was cold everyday we were there and it was so busy. If you can imagine 3 separate hotels sharing one buffet restaurant, that is what it was like and this was April, god help in the summer holidays! It’s fine going to a big hotel, but this one doesn’t seem to have the capacity to cater for all the guests, it looks gorgeous from the outside and rooms are fabulous but try doing a week there and you will loose your mind.

Triton comeback
We were excited to return to the Triton after its refurbishment. The room was excellent and very comfortable with superb shower. The aircon was not available despite warm temperatures at night. Kettle was provided but no cupboards and coffee so this needs fixing. The feel is very 4/5* but the indoor pool is a cost (£15€) and the top floor is for premier guests (… open at some time for all guests) A slightly impersonal feel whilst being very good quality. Breakfast was expansive but the bacon was inedibly fat. The coffee/tea machines work at their own pace and queues were prevalent.still a really enjoyable visit

Water was seeping into the lobby and hallways during heavy rainfall. There were no coffee machines in the rooms, only kettles but no coffee or tea to go with them, so totally useless. No washcloths were provided, so you need to bring your own. Covered pool was not available while we were there. Other than that, very nice hotel.

You have to find your own seating in the dining areas and the seats available are limited. Other than that the place is like brand new and there been no expense spared on the refurbishment.

Excellent location to nice break. Most staff are friendly and helpful. But, do not in room catering. Not even a tea kettle. Get size beds but with thin pillows. Food service offers very good varieties.

Hotel needs some updating although cleanliness and service couldn’t be faulted. Food- ok, stayed here 5 years ago but this time noticed the hotel a bit tired looking. Pool - great , too cold to use in February but overall if ur looking for a good location with value for money is fine. Marina 5 min walk away, beach right on the doorstop

Didn't like being put in the separate building to the hotel, had to drag a very heavy bag down (and up) at least 20 stairs. Everyone else in my party didn't have any problem requesting nice rooms.

We were put in the annex this time. the water pressure was very low and the water temperature varied a lot whilst having a shower from freeze to burn. It is a long walk each time to bars,restaurant and reception.

I would class this hotel as 3* all other 4* hotels i've ever stayed at do not charge extra for their facilities -it was super dissappointing that use of sauna, indoor pool (on a winter trip) jacuzzi, etc was not inclusive of stay - 10euro per person per session! makes it a pricey family extra!

We were far from impressed considering the cost this hotel is substandard in most areas. the staff are helpful but few and far between and this was clearly evident in the dining area. Food very poor and not what I was expecting considering the cost and I am hoping it was not connected but I was ill during the night. Overall the hotel is in dire need of upgrading, renovating and refurbishment.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, much better are available in benalmadena for a third of the price.

I paid and requested for a resort view when I booked through booking.com when I got there I was told this view would of only been able to be requested at the hotel. The particular room I paid for was more expensive room then the room I ended up being put in. When I went to reception to query this the women on the desk had a serious attitude problem about the request and wasn’t willing to help. Shouldn’t of be advertised if you cannot book it

Great location and we had a large room with wonderful sea and pool views. However, the noise from the evening entertainment, some good some average, was disturbing. An older relative has stayed here before, likes the hotel and prefers half board so we joined them. Personally, we would not have chosen the hotel as it is too big and would not have chosen half board, preferirng to explore outside but clearly many people love the hotel and all it encompasses. This hotel has been a great hotel at one time but needs a refurbishment. A great location and no issues with noise or comfort as beds were great. Good bathroom also. A lot of the foyer not even being used now, shame as wld be nice to be able to have a coffee or drink in reception in evening. No room available to use last day so booked Spa, showers were worse than most local swimming pools, no hairdryers and old shower curtains.
Had a bit of a problem with towels being changed in room, and we had only put one of each in bath to be changed to try to cut down on cleaning etc, there were 3 of us.
We had one night in bar as only one night with one girl singing. So wldn recommend if wanting any entertainment.
Will use hotels around it next time to try out as loved the area, great restaurants too.

Excellent location for the Marina, we had the Breakfast and the food was excellent for a buffet. Pool fantastic and easy access with plenty of beds if you get to the pool when it opens at 10. Room was spacious and cleaned really well every day, balcony very tatty and need of renovation, as cracked floor tiles and peeling ceiling, hotel general areas very tired and need of refurb. Staff helpful and friendly at reception and mostly at the bar, but some were surly at the bar. Often I would be in the middle of being served and a Spanish customer would arrive and they would stop serving me (English) to serve them then come back to me. This happened on three occasions in the five days we stayed at the Triton. Evening entertainment ok but pool entertainment was excellent every day.
