Really nice hotel, room was nice, food was decent. All the staff were lovely. It's not the quietest location next to the road but I never really noticed. I didn't book parking ahead of time so was unable to use the car park.

We were on the 6th floor and the music on the roof bar was loud in our room with lots of stomping about. Again not a massive issue for me but a sensitive person might not enjoy it.

Would definitely recommend.

Very good hotel, modern, clean & comfortable rooms. Food was excellent and wish I’d booked half board not b&b. Location good though think I prefer Torro to Benalmádena. Only down point was getting pool towels change was a hassle as only able to swap in a 1 hour window each day.

Perfect! The only thing to complain was that the rooms were not very soundproof and on the 6th floor you could hear everything from the rooftop (eg. when someone was moving chairs and tables).
Compliments to everyone from the restaurant, especially to Juan and Micky! Always very helpful, always smiling.

Property seemed little dated. Rooms did not have the best sound insulation. We could hear TVs playing from the guests next to us ans above us especially when in bathroom with sounds coming in from the vents (very weird). Overall the experience was fine, balcony was missing a handle but it was fixed immediately, check in and check out process went fine. Just expected more from a 4 star hotel but for its location and our needs it worked fine.

The location of the property is good as you can walk down the boardwalk either way for miles and find a thousand shops, bars and restaurants. The staff was also great. Breakfast was pretty good. My complaints really stem from the quality of the build, walls were so thin you can here everything we turned a noise machine on our phones full blast to drown it out. They also only put one sheet on the bed like it was prison. They clearly do this to encourage you to keep the AC down but this combined with extremely uncomfortable cheap mattresses ruined our hotel stay. If they upgraded the bed/sheet situation it could be considered a loud 3.5-4 star hotel. Right now much closer to a 2.5 star hotel until that’s fixed. Also pool and jacuzzi were not heated.

Stayed at many hotels and apartments in the area and Las Arenas was magnificent. Nice, modern reception, comfortable bar/lounge area, excellent happy hour between 1700-1800 hrs each day, superb breakfast and unbelievable rooftop bar. Would highly recommend Las Arenas.

Great holiday

Had a great holiday at Las Arenas hotel . Hotel was vey clean and staff were excellent and helpful. Entertainment was very good. Enjoyed everything. The only fault I had was that tea and coffee in the bedroom was not replaced daily even though there was a kettle in the room.

This hotel will take some beating in Benalmadena. I have no complaints about anything here, it was all great. During our stay there was a happy hour every day from 5.00-6.00, drinks were two for the price of one. Would definitely say here again.

This hotel was the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in, it was absolutely immaculate. The staff were so friendly and helpful the restaurant food was outstanding, we booked bed and breakfast but ended up eating in the evening to, so much choice, food always hot and the presentation was as good as any 5 star hotel.
The sky bar on the roof was great not only to sunbathe during the day but to sit up there in the evening watching the sunset was a delight.

Location was good, especially when travelling with a baby you can walk everywhere, to the shops, restaurants and most importantly the beach. Very clean and staff absolutely amazing. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable, maybe a little updating is needed in the bathrooms.
The pool area was nice but unfortunately the food menu and quality was very poor. We had to go out for lunch. Finally a small but important detail the hotel lifts took forever.
All in all an ok place to stay!

Really friendly staff, who helped us book a hire car gave advice on restaurants and always happy to book us taxis which only took a few minutes to arrive. Breakfast was nice plenty of choice again friendly staff always made to feel welcome in every part of the hotel. upon arrival we were early so had the use of the baggage room changed by the pool then took off to the beach. We had a call to say our room was ready and then were upgraded to a beautiful corner top floor over looking the sea which wwas perfect for watching the sunrise.

We stayed for 3 nights in March. Our first impression was of a bright, spacious and spotlessly clean foyer. Upstairs was no exception and we really enjoyed our stay. We were in room 625 which had a sideway view of the sea. Huge, comfortable bed, decent size wardrobe with a safe, big bathroom with a large shower. Fridge in room too. Service was good with everyone we interacted with being really helpful and friendly. We were able to pay a bit extra for late checkout which was appreciated too. We only ate breakfast in the hotel but it was a really good selection: continental, cereals, breads, pastries, hot UK breakfast, and lots of fruit. The hotel is right across the road from the sea and about a 20min walk from the marina. Really happy with our choice and would highly recommend.

Absolutely Fabulous!

This is a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. A short €6 taxi ride from Benalmadena railway station.
The standard of cleanliness in the hotel is superb. There is entertainment from 9pm every evening. The food is excellent quality with a very good variety of choices. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Very comfortable beds and pillows.
All the staff are amazing, always smiling and helpful. The dining room staff work incredibly hard to make mealtimes a really pleasant experience.
We will definitely be returning for another holiday.

This is a lovely hotel in an excellent position. First impressions are excellent- rooms are clean & modern. The pool area is well maintained- only downside is that in October when we were there, the pool is mostly in shade & therefore quite chilly!

We were room only, & were disappointed that there was no access to a cup of tea or coffee in the mornings, the bars didn’t open until 11am. But all in all we had no complaints & the female receptionist Belen, was so helpful when completing & printing the PLF for home travel. The Sky bar is very pleasant & attractive. The evening entertainment was very good too

Good stay after a disappointing start

Had initially booked for 2 people in a superior front facing sea view room. However, due to change of plans, emailed in advance to add a 3rd person (son) to the room. Hotel corresponded well via email confirming a 3rd bed would be added, and the additional cost. Arrived at hotel at 23:30 and after 4 visits to reception, eventually the 3rd bed was added at 3:30am - and with a terrible attitude.
No apology, and disappointed they expected us and our 6ft tall 14 year old son to share 2 single beds until reception could resolve the next day. With the great comms before arriving I did not expect the issue - everyone makes mistakes, but it’s how you deal with them that determines good service. Hopefully this won’t happen to anyone else.

Once this was resolved, our stay was good. Hotel spotlessly clean, great pool area, views from sea view balconies are amazing and good breakfast.
Personally I don’t feel the rooms are suitable for families as the shower and sink are open to the sleeping area, with no privacy. Not the best with a teenage boy!
Would recommend for a couple / individual.
Great location, facing the beach and with bars, shops and restaurants a stone’s throw away.

An Excellent 4 star Hotel

Having stayed at Las Arenus twice previously, I decided to return again due to such positive experiences in the past . Thankfully I am delighted to say the hotel has even got better , pleasant efficient staff , excellent food with an excellent choice for both breakfast and dinner .
In my opinion, the buffet dinners are even better than than previous stays.
The hotel is spotless throughout and the bed was extremely comfortable. The new roof top sun lounge area is a superb additional facility .

Finally Symbol Las Arenus always has lovely guests . During my recent 4 night stay , I had the pleasure of meeting Rosemary and Anthony . Hope you both have a fantastic well deserved break in Las Arenus Benalmedena.

Great hotel, fantastic food (breakfast and dinner). Staff all very helpful. Two suggestions...time to renew towels which are looking worn. Beds are extremely hard. My husband referred to it as the \"ironing board\". Would definitely stay again. In the centre of everything. Good transportation. Fantastic evening entertainment. Perfect location, easy access to airport, food was also very good. The room we were given was very small. Glad to say when we complained we were given a bigger room the next day.

Las Arenas Hotel

This hotel is very conveniently situated to the Marina and beach. Bus stop is close by also. The rooms are clean and tidy but basic. Our room which was on the first floor was situated next door to the cleaners store. This meant that it could be noisy at about 7 am.
We stayed half-board and found breakfast and dinner quite good.
All in all I would say this hotel, while not really a 4 star, it is good value for money.

Absolutely shocked at the stink of cigarette smoke in the lounge. Could not even enter the room so could not participate in any events or even go and buy a cup of coffee.
Got shouted at by a groundsman and a waiter on 2 different occasions. Found it to be humiliating in front of other guests
Asked if we could borrow a towel for the pool - was told by Reception to go and buy one - they were totally uninterested. Think that is crazy to bring a towel from South Africa
After booking because of the great reviews online we were shocked at the place - have stayed all over the world - this hotel rates as the worst ever
Clean linen was delievered to the hotel right outside our window at 8 every morning - the noise was unbelievable
The cleaning staff sat outside our room dowstiras smoking and causing our room to smell
This hotel could learn a lot from South Africa in terms of hospitality

This hotel enjoys a great position just across from a beautiful beach. The road is busy but the traffic lights make it possible to cross quite easily. The food in the hotel was mainly good, fish better than the meat. Always good salad and lots of desserts to choose from. The outdoor pool is disappointing but the beach is lovely. There are plenty of places nearby to visit, and easy to get to on the air-conditioned buses. The hotel doesn't have maps or any information on the area, so better to ask other holidaymakers. We were independent travellers, so no rep to ask, but the people were quite helpful on reception.

LAS ARENAS IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN A 2*MANHATTAN HOTEL

On one occasions I was given a diry bath towel,but was given a clean one once requested. Bed was not never well made. Tiny room as was the shower - you could hardly move around. No soap dish in shower cubicle. Was most surprised that even though it was a non smoking room,smoking had been going on as well as outside by the lifts area. It is obvious that smoking goes on as there is a stench outside my room. Internet, in-room safe is chargeable as well as breakfast. You do not get value for money at this hotel.

best hotel in Benalmadena

Cannot fault this hotel. My wife and I stayed here last year and decided to return again this year. We have never returned to the same hotel before, but we love the Las Arenas. Great location right opposite the lovely sandy, and not at all busy, Bil Bil beach. A short walk down the promenade past lovely bars and restaurants takes you to the beautiful marina. Hotel staff are excellent. We were upgraded to a better room as soon as we arrived and they realised we were repeat customers. Food is excellent with plenty of choice. Only tiny criticism is the lack of FRESH orange juice with breakfast. We will be going back again.
