Good location but photos are like most Facebook profile pictures and cleverly filtered giving the impression of a modern apartment. The apartment is old but has been decorated to a good standard and couldn't fault the cleanliness.
Also paid deposit for safe key, but in check out they said we hadn't. The deposit wasn't a great amount but they add up if it happens regularly. Ask for a receipt.

We had a studio for 3 with sea view. It was perfect for what we needed, a base to explore the local area, shops and restaurants. Great location, just off the seafront and easy walk into both Torremolinos centre and Benalmadena marina. The staff were very helpful. We would go back there again. Thank You!

Our trip was extended due to flights being cancelled by air traffic control and we needed to find somewhere to stay for our extended trip. Palm Beach came up on hotels.com and it looked perfect. Amazing location, short walk to the beach front, shops, restaurants and bars. 20 minute walk to the marina in Benalmàdena - boat trips, cute shops and harbour side restaurants. Pool looses the sun mid morning into lunch time but that’s just due to the position of the building and sun, so a trip out for lunch passes the time. The apartment had everything we wanted, even washing up liquid! Definitely coming back!!

Excellent pre Christmas stay. Lovely comfortable apartment with amazing sea view. Enjoyed watching a pod of dolphins one morning. Friendly helpful and both on reception and housekeeping. Have stayed there before and will again. Would recommend. Great location and has a nice reasonable priced restaurant where you get a warm welcome.

The bar in the apartment block ignored me when i went to ask for a drink. They told me, that a spanish couple sat down eating were better than me and continued to ignore me. I waited 15 mins to be told they are vetter than me because they are eating. I updated the reception team. They are unable to do anything about the rudness off the bar staff. My bedding was not changed all week. I got towels the day before i was leaving. The pool area is poor small and enclosed. We did however get some new sunbeds. The pool was not filtering lots of stuff floating about in it. I had to get the net and clean the pool. Sorry i will not be returning. Very poor indeed.

These apartments were completely different to what’s advertised. The photos do not resemble the apartment interiors in the slightest. We walked into an apartment from 1970. No balcony as advertised. I feel I have been mislead as I could have booked so many nicer accommodations.

Palm Beach is right in the middle of the town a minute from shops, restaurants and beach. Palm Beach Apts and La Carihuela has a lovely home from home feeling about it and you always feel your travelling to meet family. The staff are brilliant and make the holiday.

There was no one to receive us at approx 7:15 pm. The halls were dark so it was difficult to find the room. The lock on the door pushed out a bolt so that the door couldn't be shut, never mind locked. We res erved a room with twin beds and a sea view. We eere assigned a room with a double bed and a view looking away from the sea. As we couldnt stay, even for a night in a room where the door wouldn't close, we left and found accommodation elsewhere. The next morning we went back to the hotel to cancel our reservation. We never stayed at Palm Beach Club.

This is a one star property so expectations should not be at 5 star level. I I would say its clean, staff were lovely, room was spacious it had everything you could possibly need and we stayed in a studio. There was a dining area plus table and chairs on balcony with a sea view excellent air conditioning and no issues with hot water. so five stars from me. It is extremely dated. Bathroom was straight out of the 70's. Orange tiles were a sight for sore eyes, but it did not bother us. Would return.

Location is very good close to the beach and a great selection of bars and restaurants. The man on reception was first class, very helpful and pleasant. The exterior of the building is currently being repaired repainted however the interior of the room we stayed in could do with some TLC as well. The space around the pool is probably a little tight if there is full occupancy. However the price we paid together with the location what’s not to like?

While we’ve stayed in this hotel before without any problem, this time stay was disturbed by renovation work going on.Also because of the work the pool had been drained and the area around the pool was not the cleanest! However I’m sure once the work has been completed, things will get back to there usual standard.

Really enjoyed the stay here yet again and booked for next year. Staff friendly and easy check in, the room was the same as last year very clean and had all amenities. Can’t wait to get back, no complaints at all.

On arrival in our room we found that half of the lights in the room didn't work and the towels were dirty, as though they had been used to wipe the floor, but they hadn't because the floor was dirty too.
Got fresh towels from reception who offered no explanation or apology!
The maids came to clean (and i use that word very loosely) the room and change the towels once during our week long stay, they made the beds(no fresh bedding) and made no attempt to brush the floor before mopping any dirt into the corners.
I had to goto reception again for fresh towels and also to ask for toilet paper before our visit ended.
The pool area is dirty with disgusting sun loungers and a pool that would not have been out of place in a local park as it had debris from overhanging trees floating on the surface.
We didn't use the restaurant as the alley outside the front door stank of urine and feaces.
The overall impression was that whoever owns/runs the place did not care about the up-keep of the hotel!
There are plenty of better/much cheaper places to stay in La Carihuela, where we have visited many times before, and would advise against visiting this dive for the sake of your health and happiness!

been to this hotel for many years but this time very dissapointed room quite dark and dingy matress on my bed knackered
never got changed towels on time when we did with holes in them .bed linen didn't get changed had to go and report it the receptionist did sort it by giving us the linen to change ourselves. not many pans in room to cook with. lights not workin in passage way where the lift reported at reception never got done.all in all they have cut back on staff and it's telling there will be no night porter after midnight from october so if any body arrives after that time who knows what to do because staff don't.
never got changed towels on time when we did with holes in them .bed linen didn't get changed had to go and report it the receptionist did sort it by giving us the linen to change ourselves. not many pans in room to cook with. lights not workin in passage way where the lift reported at reception never got done.all in all they have cut back on staff and it's telling there will be no night porter after midnight from october so if any body arrives after that time who knows what to do because staff don't.

Hotel staff are excellent, very helpful. Hotel is looking tired, although one room that had been refurbish was lovely, we had a choice but the refurbished room had no balcony. The room we had with balcony hadn't been refurbished was a little tired. Although the room had everything you needed, including iron and board, air condition (at no extra cost). Wifi at hotel not great.

I had a great stay here. the hotel is tired but for what you pay it is a great stay. I had a deluxe studio which was clean and a great bathroom. induction hob in the kitchen which takes time to get used to and this will account for negative comments in other reviews.

The hotel was located in a quiet area about 5 minutes walk from the beautiful sandy Carihuela beach, about 20-25 minutes walk from the centre of Torremolinos and slightly further from the Benalmadena Marina. Our 9th floor apartment had magnificent sea views and lots of sunshine. The room facilities were mostly okay though the apartment had no balcony so it was not perfect for sunbathing and my wife had to go down to the street to smoke.
The weather was good most of the time (6-21 September) but for the second week the sea was much colder than we had experienced during previous end-of-summer Mediterranean holidays (19 degrees according to my thermometer). One or two local bars generally stayed open quite late (until about 03:00) though there were more choices in town where we went ended up most days (often after a long walk along the promenade).
Overall we enjoyed the holiday but if we come again we'll make sure we have a balcony and will probably come a few days earlier.

We really liked this hotel especially as it was so close to the beach. The room itself was very spacious and clean and towels were changed 3 times when we were there. The only disappointment for us was that there was no balcony, but that could have been our own fault as we asked for a room with a seaview. If we were to go back I would like a room with a balcony. I can't comment on the pool or the pool area as I am a beach person and as we were so close to the beach I went there everyday.

You get what you pay for
On arrival we at 11am we were told that they would try and get our room asap about an hour later we had our room which was great considering check in is 3pm. The room was clean but in need of a little TLC the sofa was very uncomfortable and we didnt have a balcony which i didnt realise when i booked so partly my fault. The pool area is very quiet and plenty of sunbeds but sadly they really need a good clean as does the pool. You need to pay for the air con but it was well worth it the apartments are very central and right next to all the bars and restaurants and you are 5 mins from the beach if you are not spending alot of time in the apartment and not to fussy then these are a great base.
