PROS: Only 5 minute walk to Shinto Shrine and around 15 minute walk from Omicho Market and Nagamachi Samurai District. The area has easy access to the main train station, 15-20 minute walk. Many dining options around, but not a lot to choose from and some good ones require reservations beforehand. The staff is very helpful, accommodating and professional. Room was very spacious enough for 2 people and their carry-ons (not like the tiny rooms of APA Hotels that can hardly fit 1 person) and they were very clean and tidy. The water pressure of the shower is very good.
CONS:: The mattress and the pillows were a bit firm, so they weren't the most comfortable ones, even though I travel to Japan often and I am used to different types of mattresses. The bedroom windows had a wall in the middle which made the room seem darker even when there is daylight, & prevented from full window views, but I guess that is the architecture of the building overall. I recommend it to anyone looking to visit Kanazawa, but don't stay more than 2-3 nights since there isn't much to do in Kanazawa overall.

If you can get a room away from the main road, this hotel would be amazing - 10/10. We unfortunately were facing the main road and the windows are not well insulated. Even with a noise machine, I could still hear traffic all through the night. The rooms are clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, the onsen was the best of our Japan experience, and the breakfast was PHENOMENAL. It was truly just the noise issue. If you aren't sensitive for noise, check this place out because it is very central. However there are tons of hotels nearby that are on quieter streets too.

The street noise does come through a bit, but since nighttime is calmer, did not cause an issue for me to sleep. I'm really glad I chose this hotel as its rignt in the middle of all the major attractions in Kanazawa so everything is about a 20 minute walk in any direction. Breakfast was great here as well or you can tske your breakfast voucher over to the local market thats a few minutes away. There's also a nice public bath.

Only got some small issues during the check in time, but hotel staff fixed with prompt action. Good restaurant locates in the hotel, excellent breakfast and dinner.
