The room was dirty. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures. It’s very run down. Immediately entering our room we were hit with this strong musty smell. The floors were dirty, the kitchen area was run down, there were hairs all over the bathroom walls, there was mold in the shower, the tub was dirty, the faucets were very dirty, there were stains on the little sofa, throw pillows. It was way too expensive for this hotel. It was more like a run down motel. It’s a shame bc we were celebrating our one year anniversary and we thought we had booked somewhere very nice looking.

Say 3.75/5 stars. Getting the “bad” stuff out of the way. The washer/dryer we had didn’t work properly. Would wash but wouldn’t dry. An error code popped up every time saying the filters were dirty but zero dirt so I’m assuming it had to do with an air vent we couldn’t clean ourselves. Didn’t bother getting it fixed while we were there. Not on the hotel. On me as I really only used the washer a couple of times. Just mentioning it as it may occur.

Room was kind of run down. Walls are NOT white. More yellow? Room looks like the photos, just edited to look cleaner and more like white walls. Some wall paper peeling & bathroom had a mild mildew smell that would trail out into the room but leaving the vent on helped.

Have free coffee and stuff in the lobby but coffee line can get long cause there’s only one and it does take a good minute or two to spew out a latte, matcha, coffee, etc.

Overall tho. Washer was still very convenient! Free coffee & very decent coffee/lattes from a machine was still a plus! Had a view of a neighborhood/city skyline from the room which was also nice. Location is very good though. Good food around that can easily walk to. A station that is right down the street that’ll take you to Tokyo, Shibuya, or Shinjuku and can transfer at any of them to take you anywhere else! Didn’t have much staff interaction but the small amount I did seemed fine!

Overall I’d recommend. This is my experience. I’d stay here again. Could easily be 4 stars!

As far as we are concerned, the hotel is very nice, the staff are excellent and very attentive. It’s located in a very chill area of Tokyo with many restaurants, bars, grocery and convenience, stores, and more! I would disregard the majority of reviews talking about it being an older hotel, because that simply does not matter. The room size is great for Tokyo and it’s super easy to get to wherever you want to go, whether you’re taking the train a taxi or an Uber. Definitely would stay here again.

The breakfast offerings sounded like a great option but in reality were just not good at all. Microwaving frozen items for convenience is one thing but the quality was just not there. Much better options available at local convenience store.
But on the good side, the coffee in the self service area was really good.
Hotel overall was OK but for the prices charged was not a good value.
Prices are on par with 5 star hotel we stayed at the 2 nights previously.

Staff was very helpful but did not understand the baggage delivery service that we wanted to send our bags to airport on departure day.
We asked about baggage delivery timing and were told “ as long as bags are dropped by 9am”
Turned out we needed to reserve day prior AND drop off by 9 am. This left us dragging our suitcases around Tokyo all day before flight.

Very convenient location. Train and subway stations are 7 mins walk from the hotel. Love their amenities, coffee machine had great selections. Croissants available early evening. Washer/dyer unit inside room was awesome. Microwave, ref and mini kitchen were very useful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There are convenience stores and pharmacy right next to the hotel. We would come back again to this hotel.

Staying here was like having a studio apartment!
The bath tub, kitchen, refrigerator and microwave, and location met our needs. The dryer was difficult because it was on for 12 hours waking us up beeping, and the clothes were super wrinkled. The washing machine was great. We will definitely try to return here again.

It was okay, location was great. My only real issue is the bathroom was outdated and it smells bad. I tried buying products to clean it but it did not work. Also, I asked for a late checkout of 12pm instead of 11am and they said it would be $103 USD. We weren’t out the room by 11am, at 11:05 they called the room as we were walking out to see what was taking so long.

Room felt old. Carpets had stains and hallways were kind of gross. No air conditioning in the hallways and it was about 97 degrees with 80-90 % humidity every day almost. Met other guest using the down elevator who were sweating profusely and had the same complaint. Also, they had this croissant locked box for breakfast? It was only available to access between 3pm and 7pm. The time most likely everyone was out.

My trip was elevated by my stay here. It was my first international flight as well as my first solo trip so I got lost as soon as I landed. Thank goodness this place had midnight check in so I had time from when I arrived to show up. My whole stay was great from the moment i entered my room till I left. Room service was non invasive and only showed up to clean if you wanted them to. AC was a nice touch given the heat. Not too much to complain about however I wish the trash can was a bit bigger (that thing is TINY). I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent place to stay thats close to a station.

Lovely hotel, staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the room was very clean and well equipped. You get pretty much everything you could need (cutlery, crockery, soap, toothpaste etc). The washer/dryer was really nice to have, since you don't have to pay for laundry. The TV in the room was huge although there was no hdmi cable to plug a laptop in which would have been nice, although one can be bought for cheap. The location is really nice, being about a 5 minute walk from yotsuya station and about a 40 minute walk to shinjuku. The only thing i wasnt really a fan of was the bed, the pillows were pretty uncomfortable and the mattress was quite stiff, but overall a great stay and id highly recommend.

I arrived early and appreciated that the hotel stored my luggage. However, check-in wasn't processed until later, even though they had my passport. Still, it was thoughtful that they placed my bags in the room before I returned.

The staff’s English was limited, and the early morning receptionist wasn't very polite – possibly just not a morning person. The room itself was a letdown. It was dusty and musky, and I had to open the window to air it out. The toilet had a strong mouldy smell, with black mould visible on the tiles. Dust was present on the floor, bedside tables, and the basin had stains and watermarks. Clearly, the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. While it’s a 3-star hotel, I’ve experienced far better standards in similar-rated accommodations.

The hotel follows eco-friendly practices, so room cleaning is only done every five days. Towels can be changed upon request. A plus point is the in-room washing machine with a dryer function.

Convenience is the highlight here. There’s a drugstore (10am–10pm) and 24-hour Family Mart just below. It's also a 3–5 minute walk to Yotsuya JR and Metro stations. Car rental shops (Nissan and Nippon) are right across the street.

Parking was great – 1,500 yen per night for a reserved spot directly behind the hotel, which worked perfectly for my rental car.

Good location, but poor cleanliness. Not ideal for guests particular about hygiene.

Location is great where it is decently close to the Yotsuya station. The room is not the largest but sufficiently spacious for two travelers with two luggage pieces for each person. Breakfast option is interesting as you pick up items and cook your rice using a portable rice cooker provided. Great experience.

One reception staff member was rude, the room was dirty, smelled stuffy, mouldy and musty. There was a beer bottle with cigarette butts on the balcony that made the room smell of cigarettes. We booked a non smoking room. The curtains were mouldy and there was hair on the walls and carpets. This hotel needs a major upgrade, it’s very dated. Housekeeping only change towels and empty bins but don’t clean or make the bed. I would not stay here again. It was however handy having a washing machine in the room and the location was good and close to the train station.

The location is good. It doesn’t take long to get to most popular places in Tokyo. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. There’s a convenience store right outside the front door. The bathroom had some mold. Otherwise, the room was fairly clean. The room had a balcony with a view. It had a small kitchen in it with washer/dryer. I would probably stay here again.

This hotel was a good base for exploring Shinjuku, Shibuya and Harajuku. It does, however require a train or metro ride to these areas. It’s quieter than those areas though and there’s a good variety of restaurants in the area . We really enjoyed pasta at Spaghetti Nagai. The hotel offers “limited housekeeping “ where they will empty your garbage and change towels. Pyjamas are provided. The kitchen area has a kettle, one cooking plate and sink. Coffee and tea are provided . We really liked having the washing machine (detergent provided) although the dryer is questionable. It heats your clothes but there’s no obvious vent so it takes hours to dry anything. Probably just as fast and more environmentally friendly to hang your clothes overnight. Room size was fine for two of us

In most respects the hotel is excellent, the exception being its breakfast, which is a ripoff. Previously, we stayed at another Tokyu Stay hotel, which offered an modest but acceptable breakfast. At this one, however, the breakfast consisted of \"take it to your room and prepare it yourself\" offerings, most of which were a bother to prepare and mediocre at best. So, skip the breakfast! You can buy better things at nearby stores to prepare yourself or try one of the nearby coffee shops.

I used to like staying at the Tokyu Stay chain as the ones I stayed at Yutenji and Shimbashi were clean and having a washing machine in room was super convenient. This branch however, fell short in terms of cleanliness. We stayed 4 nights, one of our rooms stink of food and the smell would not go away the whole duration. One of our rooms' toilet smelled of bad sewage that also lingered despite using the room spray. The shower curtain had signs of mould on it. The rooms were also dusty due to the carpets. The carpets along the corridors also had food and oil stains the first night we were there, as though the trash was being dragged through it.

Good location, close to train station. Nice neighbourhood, quieter then busier spots like Shibuya, Shinjuku but still lots of shops and restaurants around.

Room was very clean and staff were friendly. Would be nice to have more space in room, potentially having only one table instead of two. This was a minor inconvenience as we were out most of the day.

Despite the renovations in the hotel, we did not have any disruptions at all.
