Lavatory clogged, had to run to office for toilet paper, had to scrub the toilet seat, looked like someone stood on it with dirty shoes. Only one shower towel. We were too tired to run to the office again after 12 hour drive. The heating unit sounded like a Mack truck.

The kitchen stove does not work in any of the rooms. The carpet needs to be shampoo and cleaned in all hotel rooms. Roaches are coming from other people rooms. It is just not worth the price they are charging.

Dresser drawer was broken apart, bathroom door would not close, badly worn bed linens, holes in carpet and bedspreads, microwave did not function properly.
Room was clean, quiet, safe, no bed bugs, bathroom recently refitted.

Linen had molded stains, animal fur. Housekeeping was terrible. I spoke with staff and they did not to anything about it. They thought the situation was funny. Im going to always get the last laugh. My first couple rooms was great, until I had this situation and they do t want to fix the problem. Microwave was also nasty asl. Management needs to do better or shut this hotel down. Btw I slept in car due to this nastiness and I paid and ain’t get a penny back because the manager dodging me to not have to pay back so I came here to show yall. I have videos and pictures too

I was given a key to a dirty room and the next room had mold like in the vanity ceiling,after the review said bugs ..i could not get a refund from on line reservation..the bugs came out during the early morning .was in the tub , wall and on the night stand and my personal things..afraid to sleep with the light off and i couldn't even take a showner..i think i need a refund...never again will i book this hotel😡

The place was horrible. Do not stay there. It is roach infested. The room was filthy and smelled. Holes in bath ceiling. Everything was worn. Remote disnt work for tv. Property was littered with trash. Electric outlets were old and frayed. GFI was burned should be changed. The bed was horrible. The pool had no water init. The room was just horrible not cleanly at all. People banging on doors wee hours of the morning. No amenities at all. Beware.

Horrible nightmare!

The property in in a very unsafe area with hookers walking up and down the roads. All kinds of people outside of their rooms after midnight. People lingering on the stairs doing drugs out in the open. I was very afraid to stay and requested my money to be refunded. They refused.

Disgusting roach motel, I was given a dirty room upon arrival and had to ask from another room. The other room was hardly any better, housekeeping didn’t give new towels or change the bedding. It’s also in a bad area where sketchy people just hang around freely.

This was hands down the worst place I've ever stayed. It looked and felt like a trap house. The entire rooms floor was soaked, the particle board on the \"kitchenette\" was sticking out, not that you'd ever want food in this place. Everything was grimy. Tops of stands had things on them. I'm pretty sure there was blood in the sheets and pillow case. This was so disgusting.
There was fighting outside at all hours. Stomping in the room above us until about 430am.
Then the man that comes around to ask if you're checking out at 10 am when you don't need to leave until 12 was extremely rude to my husband.
If i could give zero stars i would. The only positive was the chick at check in.

I was very surprised by how bad this was because we like the owner's other hotel.

Do Not Stay Here!

Wrong room given first. No sheets on bed. Looked like a “rent by the hour”. Next room tv didn’t work & mini fridge was leaking. Third room upgraded & usable. No daily housekeeping. Water had rust in pipes, came out brown. Furniture wobbly. Pool not open (DHEC). Wasp nest outside of door. Laundry area no AC, feels about 120°. Homeless walking the grounds. Shootout next door. Roaches running in and out of AC unit. Needed fresh towels, had to take old towels to front desk, they didn’t have any clean towels. Front desk agent said “I just work here” when confronted about problems, no resolution.

Shocked by the grime, filth, wear and large insect

Dont be fooled by the pool and palm tree photos. I am not a fussy traveler, but I was shocked by filth & wear to the second room I was assigned. Looking for a reasonably priced rm for quick overnight rest. Selected King rm on Hotels.com. (BTW the desk rate was $55 for walk ups but this website charged me $72 so no online savings.) Door would not open to King room due to dead battery. Was downgraded to less expensive single full but still charged king price plus \"resort fee.\" Litter on most sidewalks. The room was appalling. There was an odor, all light switch plates were sticky from grime, there was a hole in the carpet by the sink, nighstand had spill stains, pressed wood furniture had delaminated veneer, Nearly stepped on a 2\"x3\" glossy brown palmetto bug getting off bed. Stayed the night but worried about what else might be crawling in. The shower was warm but shower curtain was grimey. Almost got electricuted when plugging hairdryer with brokern adaptor into the grime covered socket where it buzzed in the outlet but did not turn on. It was apparent that owners were drastically skimping on cleaning, repair and remodelling. For further penny pinching, they removed the coffee machine from the lobby but not the cups. There was no coffee maker in the room but a fridge w sticky shelves from prior guests. A scary place that I lived to tell abt . Asked for refund. Told I need to consult Hotels.com which issued one. Overheard a worker speak about a rat closet. Beware.

There was nothing unique about the Suburban. I have stayed at a Suburban before but never like this. Roaches, soiled linen, smoke smell, nasty curtains, rusty water. Thankfully I always bring my own cleaning products & water. I HIGHLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND 👎👎👎

I got an instant refund. People hanging around making it seem unsafe. I walked in the room and walked right back out to the service desk. This is the nastiest hotel I’ve ever seen. The room smelled just like urine and the outside was like a trash can, trash everywhere…disgusting is the best way to describe it.

Room was horrible and and area was very unsafe. There were people sleeping in their vehicles all over the parking lot and we were very nervous. I should have known when we tried to check in and they had to unlock the lobby door for us. We checked out within about 20 minutes and found a nicer hotel down the road.

The 1st room the toilet wasnt nasty. The room had a terrible odor. The desk clerk moved me to another room. Which there were NO lighting, there was mold over the stove, the light was hanging from tge stove, etc. I went to sleep in my car to red the odor. There are broken dwn cars in the parking lot. I paid almost $80 for this $10 room.

The room was old but appeared clean. After driving all day i went to bed early. Around 230AM i awoke so I could use the bathroom. I turned on the light and there was a small cockroach on the wall by the Tv. Iwent to the bathroom and turned on the light and there was a rew more by the sink. That did it for sleeping. The room was particularly filthy (sheets with holes, a tooth found in the sink, the lock to the toilets was broken). The room does have a kitchen but not a single plate, glass or cutlery. What good then is a kitchen? After inquiring at the reception desk, not even one plastic plate could be provided. The area looks particularly unsafe.

There were people all around us and we didn't hear any noise. That is the 1st time that has happened in years staying away from home. The room needs to be updated. Walls dingy, stove a mess, linens had cigarette holes in spreads and blankets, TV had lines running down the screen. Wasn't any room really to walk around. The price was great.

I asked for a non smoking room and the whole room smelled like smoke, the sheets smelled like cigarettes and were dirty, the door inside lock didnt work, they had a broken boiler onsite so the whole hotel had to shower in cold water, the staff was very rude, like VERY! The property was actually really nice. With the 2star rating I was skeptical about staying there. But I really enjoy myself in the end. The only thing that was disappointing was that the shower never got hot and the stove did not work. And plus we had a coffee maker but we had to go out and buy our own coffee. Overall it was a OK stay. I will book again if no other hotels had vacancies

This place is located in a drug infested area. People standing around smoking and walking through all night. When we opened the room door the carpet and the smell of cigarettes was horrible. The bathroom, kitchenette, cabinets, microwave and sink was filthy. The bedding had cigarette burns and sheets were a cream color instead of white. I wouldn't let my dog stay here if I had one. Please don't go by the pictures on the website. Worst experience ever.....

Worst hotel, I've ever stayed. Dirty. Furniture like from the junk yard - broken. No coffee or tea in the room. It's extended stay hotel, but no plates, spoons etc. Coffee maker doesn't work and I was unable to replace it.
Occupants of the hotel reminds me of a homeless shelter.
They advertise price of $49 on travel coupons and on the hotel sign, but people are turned away. Such rooms are not available. I think it's fraud.
