I had an opportunity to stay at this hotel for a few times. And I cant be more than happy. The staff is very helpful and welcoming! Always ready to help you. The room was also comfortable and very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again, thank you so much!

Upon arrival their was no parking available unless we parked away from the hotel which was a 5 min walk from the hotel and not secure parking.
When checking in we were asked for a £40 depisit which was not menyioned when booking the hotel.The payment was taken from our account immedietly but not returned to us immedietly and told it would take up to 5 days to be returned.
Unfortunetly we did not stay the night in the hotel as a mouse trap was found in the room which unsettled my family.
Not offered a refund for the non stay at the hotel.
We will be pursuing this further

The staff were probably the saving grace of this hotel. Staff at reception and at breakfast were very helpful and polite.
The room was fine, very dated though and the showerhead was useless in the bathroom. Too top heavy so just kept falling down.
It was very noisy as well. People coming in talking at 3am and slamming doors. Very inconsiderate and meant I didn't get very much sleep.

Our room was very small for 2 people..only 1 foot gap at each side of the bed and approximately 2 foot at the bottom between the bed and a dressing table, shower tray was still unclean. Paid for breakfast but didn't realise they didn't serve bacon or any pork in general which for a Best Western in the capital of what is British surprised us..it should of been an option at least. Everything else..the comfort was good, the parking was convenient, it was quiet and all the staff that we met were absolutely lovely and couldn't of been more helpful so 5 star for them but 3 star for the hotel from us.

When I arrived I was allocated a twin room 2 floors up. As I have mobility issues I use the room. There is no lift at the hotel.The receptionist said that was not a problem and offered me a single room on the ground floor. Thank you Olga for that. The room was a bit small but as there was only me it didn't matter. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The shower was excellent. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of hot and cold food. Tea coffee and different juices where available. The breakfast was hot and enjoyable. The price was excellent. The next time I am in London I will be staying there again. Excellent location beside the train station and 10 minutes into the centre of London.
Special mention to the staff excellent and very courteous. Well done.

After checking in i went to the room only to see that the room was already taken. The next room them give me was filthy dirty looked like someone had been sick in the sick and they didn’t clean it up properly: there was hair in the tub and paper on the floor. They offered me a free breakfast reception told me I could get the breakfast Togo. The last serving breakfast didn’t speak any English, so she got someone else who then told me I can not get it to go. Seems like none of the staff know what they are doing. Room was adequate, clean and beds were comfortable. Great to have a proper hairdryer too! Staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast offered a good selection of cold/hot buffet options and there was always hot water for showers.

Biggest negative is the bathroom - it was a tiny narrow sink with a glass shelf directly above it. This made it really challenging to get your head above the sink it brush your teeth or wash your face. It would be far better to move the shelf to the side instead. The cleaning staff didn’t replenish the tea making facilities so there was nowhere near enough sugar or milk.

Customer service from the reception team was excellent. They helped me to find a parking space for free and we're generally very respectful and polite. The room was clean and had everything we needed.
Negatives: Couple of the lights weren't working and the walls were thin so could hear noise from other guests. Parking was very limited but as mentioned, staff were very helpful - make sure you ask for advice at reception before paying for anything on Ringo!

I would give this hotel a passing grade. The location is convenient — only a 3-minute walk to Ilford Station — and the front desk staff are very friendly.

However, the building is quite old, and noise travels a lot. You can clearly hear footsteps from the hallway and the room above, so if you’re a light sleeper, this might not be ideal.

Housekeeping was also disappointing. They didn’t provide shampoo or soap, even after informing reception, and the bedding wasn’t changed for days — just folded. Garbage was removed, but that was about it.

Overall, the stay was okay, but if you can find another hotel in the area for a similar price, I would recommend choosing that instead.

⭐ If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Do not book this hotel. The staff are rude and completely unhelpful.

I booked through Expedia and selected the pay at the hotel option, as I planned to use a company credit card for payment while working in the area. Within 30 minutes of booking, I noticed a pending charge of £53.10 on my account. Nearly two hours later, another pending charge for the same amount appeared — as I had booked two rooms.

I contacted the hotel immediately and was assured the pending payments would be released on the day I checked out. On arrival, I was told the same thing again.

Things went downhill quickly from there.
•The first room key I was given led to a room still being cleaned.
•The second key was for a room that already had someone else’s belongings in it.
•The third and final room was so small that a double bed had clearly been crammed into what used to be a single room — the TV was even fixed to a wall facing away from the bed!

To make matters worse, many of the residents appeared to be long-term lodgers. The noise was unbearable: shouting, arguing, and even someone screaming down the phone to the DWP about their money. This went on until around 1 a.m., only stopping when they either passed out or finally fell asleep.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, the toilet macerator kept switching on randomly throughout the night, making it impossible to rest properly.
It’s now been over a week since my stay and my pending payments are still

The Best Western at Ilford was a great hub and so close to The Elizabeth Line.
There were some great local amenities close by too.
The Hotel itself is run down furniture wise in the bedroom we had but I could not fault the cleanliness of the room.
It’s a shame no hairdryer was provided or low lighting by way of lamps as our room was described as an executive suite and it was a little cold and damp to start with but did get toasty warm in the end ☺️

Excellent place not far from the main public transport system, Ilford train station about 10minute walk away. The hotel is very clean, the location is quiet and fairly calm with shops around. The staffs were excellent, friendly, supportive and responsive. My room was small, the shower \"cabin /cubicle \" quite uncomfortable if you are a larger person you would struggle to bend to rub your feet, some disturbances from neighbours rooms with their alarms going off and easily audible... Tv has no Netflix (did not find one, i may be wrong on this). Room may need a small fridge in for short term preservation of fridge items if on longer stay. Overall, a great place to stay, and I highly recommend it.

Even though I had paid in full and all hotel details were on my phone, staff needed ID, which I didn't have. Humiliating and degrading. The single room was a walk away in a different building from the hotel. The room was so small it could only fit a very small wardrobe and single bed. There was no duvet/sheets/blankets, so I slept with the heating on full, in the clothes I'd worn all day. I was exhausted from my trip and the earlier incident, it was pouring with rain and I didn't have the energy to walk back to the hotel to get bedding. This was a cheap hotel but I can't even say 'you get what you pay for' because it was missing the basics. When booking, this was the only hotel with availability in the area, for the date needed. On the whole, the staff were friendly but unfortunately this didn't make up for the 'experience'

My flight had delayed many hours, my friend whom i was meeting me there got there before me. They would not let her in the room, she had to sit in the waiting area until i got there almost 5 pm in the evening.she got there before 11am. I know that there checking in time is 2pm. Even after that they refused to let her in. when i got there they demanded a debit card for payment of one hundred pounds deposit. I didn't have a debit card i offered to pay the deposit with my credit card they refused. I try paying them 100 pounds in cash they refused it. The manager their was very mean and yelled at the staff when she try talking to him about the matter concerning my paying this deposit that they were requesting. The manager was only willing to accept my credit card payment after i had called Expedia concerning this matter. only after Expedia had to call the Best Western then and only then he spoke to me directly about the possibility of me having to pay with my credit card. I would never stay there again neither would i recommend it to anyone. I chose the place because it was close to the event i was attending. I truly regret booking and staying at that hotel. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I EVEN LOOK AT A BEST WESTERN HOTEL TO STAY WHEN I AM TRAVELING.
