Internet is not working. No window in the room. Wall is dirty. Electric socket is shaking. It is a dangerours room. But they do not let you change to a safer room. May be nothing is available. Not recommend to other people to stay in the hotel.

Quite center of city but don't like room no window. The bathroom have no glass door that water easily split out while shower and get wet the whole bathroom floor.

Location is strategic, near to local food stores and tourist attractions.

Small verandah. Excess to public vehicle will be a little challenge especially when its rain. It will be good if there is a ramp to the hotel.

Comfortable hotel right in the city center

Fast check in and friendly staffs especially Encik Affiq who is all out to help us, from food recommendation, places of interest to even carrying our bags willingly to our car. He is always cheerful and very polite. Lobby is cosy . Security staffs are friendly too. Free parking with guards manning the car parks 24/7.

Stay Somewhere Else

Don't be fooled by the advertisement, the rooms do not look like the photo's. The parking is not for the guests and some staff need to understand that guests are their first priority.

You will leave this place feeling very underwhelmed.

The Hilton is just up the road and it is priced better.

The location of the hotel is ideal. Right at the city center, nearby waterfront(walking distance) and a lot of local famous food around. Room is very clean and comfortable. Good for the price.

Strategically located.
Come out turn right, food in every corner, Google for local delicacies.
Turn left for relaxation, sightseeing and local shopping like bazaar, India street.

Great location

My wife booked this hotel for our short vacations.
Never knew the price that we were getting by booking through hotel.com was 50% cheaper compared to the original price.
The staffs were friendly and they even allowed us to left our luggage for about 5 hours while we were waiting for our flight.
The best thing about this hotel was the location. Walking distance to waterfront, Top Spot foodcourt and other famous attraction in Kuching.

okay hotel in middle of town

Very small room with no window had to pay extra money to get a tiny room with half window
The bathroom is tiny and cramp with little shower space for a skinny person
The shower curtain did smell bad
The lobby is great, spacious and comfortable
Wifi in the room
Bed very small but clean
Open cupboard to hand your clothes that is next to the bed a foot away . Air condition not working

Okay Place for a Few Nights

A good hotel where the essentials are provided with a friendly smile. Nothing too fancy, small room facing the main road with the occasional loud motorbike at night. Beds way too short but doable. Very limited TV options (forget CNN or BBC). Breakfast buffet very \"Chinesy\", and the continental breakfast options (bread butter jam) where not of great quality. Horrible pipe music in the restaurant (El Condor Pasa up and down until the cows come home). However, it is value for money, has great WiFi and as said the people go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Also in short walking distance (10min) to the waterfront.

Comfortable hotel, conveniently located to shops

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They were quick to help when we had difficulty connecting to the wifi. The room service was excellent too, when we requested tea bags instead of coffee, they were very obliging. We had a very comfortable and quiet room.

Location central. My room was a room without a window with basic amenities so price was reasonable. Non smoking hotel. Room comfortable enough. Check in check out no problem. Hotel charges one full night rate for late check out so opted not to take late check out.

Decent hotel for its price

Stayed for 3 nights in a superior room without breakfast as there are plenty of coffee shops in the area. The room and bathroom are a tad too small but it's clean with most basic amenities. It could do better with more TV channels. Bed was surprisingly very comfy for a budget hotel. The hotel is a mere walking distance to the waterfront but the malls nearby are pretty dead. Overall a very good value for money hotel.

The s t afford are very helpful and consideraye, but the overall condition of the hotel is deterirating. Lobby furnishings are grubby. The fabric upholstery is worn and heavily stained. Windows are dirty and the interior is tacky.

We are staying at the Abell for 3 weeks. The location is close to the top restaurants and the board walk. All is in waking distance.behind hotel you can eat at the small cafes for a few dollars.food is fresh with a great variety. All in all would recommend hotel and the location.

The Hotel is in a attraction area, near to waterfront and very comfort to stay valuable for money and reasonable with the price offered. The reception staff have to be more friendly. Process to get check out and check in also very slow but overall is OK.

2 nite stay for work visit. No fuss as I was only in the room for nite sleep. Value for money if you travel solo or couple & just looking for comfortable sleep & relaxation after spending long day exploring the city. Nice & friendly crew.

I was able to check in early and was surprised at how large the room was. The hotel is in a great location opposite the tourist information office and close to all the sites and shops that you would want to visit. The room was very clean and appreciated the clothes line that was in the shower.

Better room for only a little extra

We extended our stay in Kuching but as there were no standard rooms available we payed only a little more to have a superior room which did have a couple of welcome benefits such as a window & free wifi in the room. It was worth the extra money.

Fantastic staff

Affordable and nice hotel at the best location in Kuching

This hotel is near the city center. Money changers, Kuching's best laksa and teh c special, bird nest and the famous waterfront is just within walking distance. The hotel staffs are so friendly too.
