Deluxe room that we stayed in on 13 floor was spacious enough for 2 people and had nice river views of Kuching, also walk in shower But the wifi was non existent ( who wants to sit in the foyer to get a signal!!!)

It didn’t start well when we arrive on a wet evening , the doorman held the door open while we 2 ,60 plus year olds struggled up the steps with our luggage . No offer of help whatsoever .
Hotel foyer is newly decorated which gives a good guest impression sadly this isn’t the case once you step out of the lift . The hallways smell , bathroom tiles are full of mould and need a good clean . Shower was equally grubby and shower gel dispenser empty . We checked on this and were given a water bottle full of gel . Toiletries are minimal , so take your own.
Bed is firm , very firm after asking on 3 occasions I eventually got a spare pillow to lie on . Initially told no spare pillows in the hotel !
Air con is extremely noisy
Wi-Fi is very hit and miss , mostly miss for us so we used free Wi-Fi in café opposite. TV channels poor too ok if you are Malaysian .
Breakfast was ok but also limited .
On a positive note , room was always kept clean, towels and bed linen replenished . Staff that we did encounter were mostly courteous.
This is a 3 star hotel and I suppose you get what you pay for . Will we go back , no .

The hotel is situated in the central of Kuching city central and close/walkable distance to all the attractions like the Waterfront, Sarawak River, the river taxis, river sampan, shopping, food, souveinors, kek lapis shops, Chinatown, Topspot seafood (must go, must go), scenery at night was magnificent,. Would want to go again when the air fares come down again to pre pandemic levels

It is near to the riverfront and night bazaar over there. Kek lapis shop is also nearby there. Cons is shopping mall is too far away..need to book grab for it.

The room I booked wasn’t available after arguing for 10 minutes they gave me the room I booked. When I attend the room there was no internet when I went to complain I was told the wifi is not part of their terms. And also They charged me from my bank account when i said I want to cancel my booking so they leave me with any option unless I accept what they give me. As the Expedia said they I won’t be charged when I put my bank details. I think they are bit dodgy don’t recommend it to anyone

The rooms were neat and clean, newly refurbished vs other areas of the hotel. After staying in 2 types of the rooms (due to availability), I concluded that the rooms on higher floors facing the chinese temple were better than those facing the carpark building, less noise from the traffic.

The view was great over the waterfront was great. The hotel is in a very good location, good cafes very nearby for breakfast. Air conditioning in the lobby and the room is set too low - we adjusted it in the room. Had a few issues obtaining fresh towels. Free wifi but couldn't book in advance in other cities as all booking sites appeared to be blocked.

A good find

Perfect place to stay and staff were amazingly friendly n helpful. The hotel is so close to town n walking distance to many places. We had room 809 and the view fm the room is spectacular. The view of the sampan n boat going up n down the river and beautiful lights at night. One downside was the noise coming from the ventilation unit above the entrance. Highly recommended to all.

Toiletries.

I have a good experience staying in where the room is cleaned & neat. However, for the suggestion, i would like to suggest that the hotel provides the following:-
1. Room Slippers,
2. Tooth brush & tooth paste,
3. Tissue in the room,
4. Night light
5. Sport tv channels - ESPN, FOX, etc
6. Breakfast include for all clients
7. Bigger TV size

Location near the water front city.

The hotel is close to river.There are plenty of shops for selling souvenirs and ideal place for a family vacation.hotel surrounding on saturday night and sunday are too full of car.It makes it difficult to get a parking.
The car park provided by the hotel is not enough for guests.

About parking lot,,, why so difficult to have a parking space,, even infront of hotel is still empty parking space,the Guard says we as hotel guests cannot parking there,, the reason is because management can't allow hotel guests Park over there,, what a nonsense,,,

+ This hotel had very friendly service, they made sure to help as much as they possibly can if you have any requests or queries.
Taxis to go wherever you wish are readily available.
Rooms are spacious enough as I had the deluxe King bedroom. Nice view of the waterfront.
Room service food was well presented and delicious.
Location is fantastic with many little shops around.

- Wifi was terrible. I had to keep asking the staff to reset, which they did cheerfully but that didn't ease the annoyance at the bad wifi. So please get that fixed asap.
Breakfast has to be improved overall. Local dishes were tasty but if you're catering to an international crowd, the international food served has to be better.
Bathrooms have to be cleaned thoroughly. Was disappointed that my deluxe King room had no bathtub, would be a nice addition.
For a hotel with 200+ rooms, two lifts aren't enough, especially when hotel is nearly fully booked over a busy weekend with alot of international events happening. Lifts were fast to serve the many floors, just not fast enough.

Overall, hotel needs a revamp as alot of it fixtures and fittings are outdated. A certain part of the hotel is currently going through renovation and guests were informed of the noise but I think the whole hotel needs a renovation. But location is fantastic and not too far from the airport. I have to say best part of the hotel is the staff. Very friendly and helpful and tried their best with what they had. Thanks!

Hotel nice location. Room cleanliness good. Room carperted. But very very disappointing, the wifi in the room is hopeless. Told staff several times, did nothing about it. Changed room also the same. Buffet breakfast can be imporved. Three was the White Coffee bar. Ist day ot was working . the rest of the 2 days not working. Please get a new replacement or was it too many quest so the Hotel put a notice- \"Not Working\". Breakfast is not cheap we are paying for it. I will not recomment to my friends unless the hotel improves the wifi.

Good location near to Kuching Waterfront.

On the 4th day, I and my family walk along the waterfront area. We found that many small stalls selling various souvenir and also few local musicians doing riverside basking attracting many viewers.
We have stop at one stalls and ordered local delicacies which I think is tasty and cheap. We spend almost one and hour there enjoying the scenery.
The locals also are very polite and they share with us which place that normally tourist should go for a visit. On that night we also cross the river with rental boat as to have dinner at Kg. Gerisik. The food was cheap and delicious.
There're few nice site around the Waterfront that we went and I would recommend others to try.
