There is nothing wrong with this place. Oceanfront room with our own pool. The food is gourmet…..top notch. We’ve been to many hotels world wide. This is the best all-inclusive luxury resort we’ve ever been to. You will love it!!

Dreams Los Cabos is a beautiful and well-maintained resort, and there were definitely parts of our stay we enjoyed. The grounds are attractive, live music was excellent, and pool activities were fun and engaging. The staff were consistently friendly and especially helpful in recommending the better food options.

We booked an ocean-view suite, and while it technically faced the ocean, the main view was the back of a restaurant, which was disappointing given the upgrade.

The food was good but inconsistent, with a bit of a learning curve to finding the best dishes at each restaurant. We were also surprised by the limited traditional Mexican cuisine — beyond highlights like the fish tacos and chilaquiles, most options leaned Italian, American, or general seafood.

The biggest letdown was the drink quality. For a five-star all-inclusive, the bar program felt like an afterthought. Drinks varied widely by bartender, many cocktails missed the mark, and most frozen drinks were disappointing (except the piña colada). Margaritas were only average, and higher-quality liquor was used only if specifically requested.

Overall, while the staff and atmosphere were strong positives, the experience didn’t fully meet five-star expectations. For the price, we hoped for more consistency and likely wouldn’t return.

The resort was great and the staff was amazing. I actually just think it’s totally overpriced if you’re not a person who drinks that much. The resort and amenities were lovely and everything is overall really good. I just think you can get a better price off of Expedia as well as through the resort directly and also I think through other properties that you can just get sort of the same thing for a better value. I stayed 2 1/2 days and it was 1500 bucks so it really wasn’t worth it.

I recently stayed at this resort and unfortunately had several disappointing experiences.

First, a jacket went missing during my stay upon checking in, which was extremely upsetting. I understand that mistakes can happen, but losing a personal item of that value is unacceptable and has not been properly resolved.

Additionally, after housekeeping serviced my room one day, my door was left open. This was very concerning from a safety and security standpoint. Guests should feel confident that their belongings and personal safety are protected.

There were also maintenance issues — one of the lamps in the bedroom was not working, which should have been checked and addressed before assigning the room to a guest.

The dining experience was also frustrating. Restaurant reservations take far too long to secure, and there is no flexibility for first-come, first-served seating. This makes it difficult to enjoy meals without planning far in advance, which takes away from a relaxing resort experience.

Lastly, on a particularly busy day, there were not enough towels available. For a resort of this size, basic amenities like towels should always be sufficiently stocked.

Overall, these issues significantly impacted what should have been an enjoyable stay. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves their service, security, and guest experience.

The room I got had a connection door, there was a baby there that cry several times during the night and wake up 6 am , I requested a change and took the 2 night tofibalg so it and change me to a room that super close to the Livy so then you can hear people laughing and talking u till 2-3 am , everything enlace Ewan great food and drinks

Friendliest staff you could ask for and the food is great. Love the one bedroom and living room setup which gives some privacy. All the activities and games definitely make the time go by quickly and the drinks are excellent. Mauricio who welcomed us and set us up with Resort credits and presentation was a huge help and support with things Resort and non-resort related.

Rooms and facilities are very nice, I wasn’t aware that the hotel have a preferred section on the beach that I was not able to use, also the hotel has 4 restaurants for dinner and they do not give out appointments, first come first serve, it doesn’t work very well for most people, unless you want to eat at 5:30 pm, most people have to wait at least 45 minutes to be seated and we ended up eating close to 10 pm.
There is also a buffet restaurant that only opens for breakfast and lunch, not for dinner.
Staff is very nice and tries to help with anything.

Absolutely great experience! We loved the resort, the views and amenities were so nice! But the thing that really stood out was the service. From the second we arrived, we were treated like valued customers.
Special shout out to Jaime Pantojoe and Martin at World Cafe, Jorge from Seaside Grill, and Pamila Jon, and Brian from entertainment. They all went above and beyond and made us feel so welcomed and just made the stay extra incredible. Always happy, helpful, and kind. They are truly exceptional employees

I wouldn’t rate this as a five-star resort by any stretch. It’s not terrible, but it’s certainly not great.

We paid for the Preferred Club, and honestly, it wasn’t worth it. The premium perks like the lounge access and higher-end alcohol fell short. The lounge food was subpar, and the top-shelf options were still things like José Cuervo.

There were standout employees who made our stay brighter. Luis & Lucas at the main pool, Mercedes & Maria in the adults-only and Preferred sections, Beymar at Oceana, Victor at the Seaside Grill, and Ozi & Alan at concierge. Each delivered exceptional service. Unfortunately overall service was so inconsistent we found ourselves planning our days around when those few were working.

The same unreliability showed up in the rooms. Our first Preferred Oceanfront room had a major mold issue. Ozi handled it professionally and moved us quickly to a cleaner room, which we appreciated. But mold should never be something guests have to deal with. The new room was better, but still not worth the Preferred upcharge. The oceanfront view was lovely, and you can always hear the waves. But the patio was uninviting and had crappy furniture so we never really wanted to be out there.

This resort has real potential. But for now, the 5 star label is misleading. As it stands it’s more of a 3 star resort with flashes of excellence thanks only to a few great employees.

This property lacks personnel, the food was decent but nothing extraordinary sometimes poor, also one area has air condition for a breakfast and lunch only. Staff leaves the door open to that restaurant to let the flies in becomes very uncomfortable, also fire over 16 in our next dealership fire alarm kept going off. To get service at the restaurants was like pulling teeth.

First time at an all-inclusive and in Los Cabos and I enjoyed every minute of it. I would definitely recommend this resort for a short stay. My friend and I stayed 4 nights and took advantage of all the activities they had (both for kids and adults). The staff is super friendly and is impossible to get bored. The food is good overall, but if you have a sweet tooth you might get disappointed. They have good variety of restaurants and menus. This resort has a nice “only-adults” pool, so if there are too many kids at the main pool, don’t worry! The beach can also be a good “escape” from kids. Lastly, and a big highlight, the gym is amazing! Very clean and complete;so, there’s no need to worry about missing a workout.

I booked the trip over my wife’s birthday and notified the hotel several times before and while I was there and they did morning. Several other rooms had special banners but not ours. They didn’t say anything about our VIP status or offer and upgrades during our visit. I left several messages with the front desk for Alan but nothing came of it. Besides the internment crew and Luis the gentleman working the pool area nobody seemed happy to be working at the resort. They tried hard to sell extras like messages and such but never honeyed the simple requests or your VIP status. We had a better time at the Valentin in Cancun and felt special everyday. There are tons of resorts in Cobo to stay at so the the Dreams just needs to get better.

Overall, the hotel is beautiful and exceptionally well maintained. Our room was clean, and all common areas were equally clean and well-kept. One of the highlights for us was the kids' daycare area our son absolutely loved it! Andy and her team, who were working during our stay, were fantastic friendly, helpful, and truly great with the kids.
However, we did experience some issues with the food service throughout our stay. During breakfast at Ocean Grill, service was very slow, and they had just opened for service. It took approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to receive our food, despite the restaurant being fairly empty with only 4-5 occupied tables. That said, the staff assisting us during these delays were very apologetic and courteous, and we appreciated their professionalism despite the challenges.
At lunch, we also found that the buffet frequently ran out of food in several trays, and restocking was often delayed. We felt that the food at times was very bland as well.

The resort is beautiful and has the potential to be one of the top destinations, however the service as well as quality of the food was tremendously lacking.

The food was downright awful, my kids barely ate and refused several options from the room service completely. The drinks were not any better. We were hoping it was a one off or just a specific restaurant, but the food being an issue was consistent across all locations. Except for the coffee place, we had no complaints there.

Staff was difficult to communicate with due to language barrier and some had very little interest in assisting. One of the waiters at the Italian restaurant didn’t greet nor acknowledge us and barely was interested in answering any questions, yet he understood and spoke English.

Most of the questions were met with responses to reference their app, which has proved to be wrong. The map doesn’t appear to look like the resort, the room service options do not match what is offered.

This is just the tip of the ice berg, I won’t go into detail regarding property maintenance: flooding restrooms, overflowing toilets, most of the faucets not functioning and lacking soap.

Also be aware, there is major reconstruction of the private pools taking place currently, so there is a lot of noise such, as drilling and jackhammering, during the day and construction crew walking around that area.

The dinner options are limited. We stayed there for 6 nights and ate at the same dinner location various times. With limited locations to eat, most dinner locations had an average wait time of 30-45 minutes to be seated. They do not offer advance reservations. Although in various occasions when showing up to a restaurant we were asked if our name was on the list. So it appears that they do side reservations but do not advertise it.

I wish there were more time options for food availability. Everything seemed restricted with restaurants times for opening. I was disappointed with the Italian restaurant- short staffed and extremely rude. I asked for a water bottle at the lobby bar and said closed- it’s pretty sad we have to look for water at different locations. I had the privilege package and was honored 20 mins spa- lady at the spa declined me. It sad the communication is not within the computer set up.
