I stayed here for a friend’s 50th birthday celebration and we had a really great time overall. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and the setting is beautiful. The amenities were excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was just okay, which is fairly typical for most all-inclusive resorts, but there were still plenty of options and we always found something to enjoy. One standout was the coffee shop — it was fantastic and became a favorite stop each day. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and beautiful property made it a wonderful trip and a great place to celebrate with friends

The property was beautiful. We stayed in a Master Suite and it was spacious and fairly private on the patio with a plunge pool and ocean view. The service was outstanding. The employees will remember you which makes it feel very welcoming. We had massages at the Spa and they were amazing. Looking forward to returning!

We had an excellent experience at Marquis Los Cabos. Our room was clean, staff did a great job with turndown service in the evening. Our snack bar was restocked daily, they even provided candles for our jacuzzi tub. The view of the water was incredible and the food was incredibly delicious. The Italian restaurant had incredible fettucini and the Furay at Sakke was tasty. Evening shows were engaging and fault activities kept things fun. Would recommend to anyone looking for an all inclusive stay that wants to relax but also wants plenty to do.

This was a Babymoon trip and I did not expect anyone to pamper me but my god. I got pampered without even asking! Also, I LOVED my mommy to be massage. My fiancé also got a haircut — lovely.
The location is phenomenal. We only left the resort one day but the other days we relaxed poolside, got some spa time, and caught up on rest. The reception staff even remembered our name and so did the pool staff.
The food was delicious! Most of the time resorts have bland or mediocre food when trying to cater to a larger audience but not here!

This resort is the textbook definition of “luxurious living.” From the moment I checked-in to the moment I checked-out (which I truly did not want to!), everything was perfect. Zero complaints. My room was gorgeous; there was a bathtub with jets, from which you could see the ocean or enjoy some tv. Insect-free. Comfortable robes and bed. Housekeepers made the place absolutely immaculate. Every dining option was heavenly, and they offer many wonderful mocktails for those who are alcohol-free :).
Last but not least, the cabana experience was to die for - I spent alllll day by the pool, looking at the ocean, walking on the soft sand beach. And my waiter was very attentive. The spa experience was also wonderful - spent 6 hours total! I had a wonderful massage and enjoyed their amenities to the fullest; outdoor pools and hot tub, steam room, and wonderful tea.
Overall, I have never felt so relaxed and refreshed in my entire life. 100% would book again and have recommended to many family members and friends. I’d live here if I could!

The rooms were spotless, room service was excellent, and the poolside staff was extremely attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.

Hotel is starting to show its age, but the view from every room is fantastic. Food is good, not great and although the staff are very friendly, the restaurant service ranges from excellent to abysmal. Easier to get chairs than may resorts, and again there are no bad views.

Beautiful resort. Staff is excellent and kind. Pools are not heated and there are plenty of chaise lounge chairs for everyone. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs as the water pressure is strong and you can hear neighboring toilets flushing and baths being drawn. Food is mediocre at best, unfortunately. Breakfast buffet was the best daily meal. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Location is in between Los Cabos San Lucas and San Jose de Los Cabos. Entertainment team is amazing - Monty & Jared (woot woot). I would love to come back to this gorgeous resort in the not too distant future.

Shuttle transportation was not offered, and the front desk staff told me the transportation service is offered by a third-party vendor at a very expensive rate; even when the Marquis website clearly states a luxurious vehicle is offered as part of the all-inclusive scam. This was truly one of the best New Year’s parties I’ve ever been part of. The resort staff went above and beyond to make the celebration memorable, and the food and ambiance were absolutely outstanding.

This place is a joke. Charged us all inclusive rates and we couldn’t even get a dinner on Dec 31st. They closed all the restaurants and limited us to a prefixed dinner on their so called “celebration”. None of the people on our table ate their appetizers because it was that bad. We were seated right next to the speakers and couldn’t even spend time on our table due to the loud music. We asked for our meal to be brought up to our room. We never got our meal. I had to come downstairs and ask for it. I was told they ran out of meals and when I called the room service they spoke Spanish only (I assume everybody else was busy). This is the worse experience I have ever had. I was promised that one of the managers will get back to me to address the issue. So far I called and emailed twice. I would stay away from this place.

The staff is what makes this property better than most. Azucena manages the restaurants and is so efficient. Tania and Alejandro treated us so well at breakfast each day which made it even more special. Carlos and Francisco were great are Sakke restaurant and Roberto at Villa Ballante and Jorge at Pergola all standout for their exceptional service. Julio and Arturo would come by near the pool and ensure you are well served. Alejandra (I may not have the right name here) and Gabriela helped us find the right activities and get us a car to go around. Jonathan did a great job showing us the room and helping with the luggage. All these people made the stay unforgettable. I literally remember the names - never wrote it down. That's how special they all were.
There was only blemish and it was not the hotel's fault. The concierge got us a rental with National at USD 145/day including insurance, and we rented for 2 days - price was double of what you found online but we thought the service would be great too. Orlando from National brought us the car and said he needs to charge in Pesos the equivalent of USD145. Its on us that we didn't check the conversion rate. I think we equated National with how great the hotel staff had been and trusted. Big mistake! The \"conversion to pesos\" turned out to be a scam and we about $40 more. When we realized and asked Orlando told us it was the \"National conversion rate\". I think they knew what they were doing and its unfortunate.

I celebrated my 50th birthday at Marquis Los Cabos, and without question, this is the most beautiful resort I’ve ever stayed at. And that’s saying a lot—I’ve been to Mexico four times: Cancun once, Playa del Carmen, and Cabo twice. This one is in a class of its own.
The property is stunning, but what really sets it apart is the staff. Everyone is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The bartenders are top-notch—true professionals. If you want to see a real mixology show, ask them to make you something spectacular and just enjoy the experience. It’s entertainment in a glass.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but the room we were given at check-in had a broken toilet—not clogged, but completely nonfunctional, as it wouldn’t flush at all. We immediately asked to change rooms, but our request was not accommodated. Instead, over the course of nearly four hours, two or three different staff members came in one after another to repair the toilet, which completely disrupted our lunch plans.
Later that first night, I was severely bitten in the room by some bugs or mites (around 10 bites on just one arm, don't know for sure what they were). I showed the bite marks at the front desk and asked them to call a doctor on site, but I was told it would cost $120. Frustrated, I went downtown to buy medication and treated it myself. However, the condition worsened on the second day and I could barely sleep at night due to severe itchiness, so on the third day we requested room change and the guest manager moved us to another room. He was very polite and apologetic. However, aside from the room change, no additional compensation was offered.
We liked the food options and especially the room service was quick and amazing. There were a lot of fun events that went on. Overall, most of the staff were very friendly, but there were one or two unfriendly individuals whose attitude negatively affected our stay. The amenities are esthetic. The room is spacious and cozy. Staff are welcoming and attentative. The view from the room is fabulous. Food is yummy. Desserts and pastry can be better and fresher. The infinity pools are not crowded. It is a relaxing option for travelers who enjoy a chill and relaxing vacation.

During pool hours they set up a speaker and microphone for entertainment but its as loud as a concert . They also set up the speaker right behind the chairs. The entertainment felt like a carnival cruise over an adults only resort. Not exactly the most relaxing pool scene. At one point, a landscaper was weedwacking for three hours right outside the pool as music was blasting. I also woke up at 815 the next day to a leaf blower.

Very nice resort. Hassle free vacation for us. More of a boutique resort for adults only. Dinner options were great and easy to book through the app. Best of both worlds where you can relax on the quiet side or enjoy more of an activities and music atmosphere on the other side of the resort. Stunning views and great whale watching location! We will return without hesitation.
