I absolutely loved my stay here! The views from the room were beautiful, and having a private hot tub in every room made the experience even more relaxing. The food was delicious, and the resort itself is stunning—a perfect place to unwind and disconnect. It was also nice that the resort wasn’t overcrowded, although I would’ve enjoyed seeing a few more people around.
Room service was excellent. The staff even folded all of my clothes neatly and hung up my wet clothes, which was such a thoughtful touch. I also appreciated the convenience of having a mini store and restaurants right on the property.
The only downside was that a few of the waiters seemed to pay more attention to other guests. At times, we had to ask for their attention to get refills or assistance. Thankfully, not everyone was like that. In particular, José stood out—he was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. He truly made our experience even better. 🙏
Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing getaway

The property was clean and but very outdated and maintained but not well. Our shower had huge chunks missing in the tile. Dish after dish was dirty that I pulled out the cabinet not talking about some dust but old food and grease on the plates. The hotel restaurant was overpriced for the less than mediocre food. Never had ceviche take 20 minutes and had carrots in it. The “private beach” was extremely small and lead out to rocks and the staff advised us not to swim in the ocean due to strong currents and you could smash against the rocks. The view was spectacular 10/10 and because of the location you could see so many stars which was great since we had a balcony. You are very isolated in this location you have to use your own car or uber to get around. There were golf carts that staff would drive you around on to get to the different areas of the hotel. However, the staff did not always answer the phone for you to request they give you a ride somewhere. The walkways has a lot of hills so if you have mobility issues or small children it’s not ideal to walk you need a ride. In the summer with the heat and humidity I was drenched after 10 minutes of walking. Very disappointed

I have stayed at this property several times and looks best I have ever seen since coming here. Staff was consistently cleaning/painting property. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Food was great and very relaxing stay. They have added a gym which is a great added feature. Worked out everyday.

Staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. They made me feel super welcomed and at home. I was so sad to leave but I will be back! My room was exactly what it said it would be. A private jet tub with an ocean view. The property is in a private beach, so the ocean waves brings all the peace and vacation vibes. The pool options are endless. I believe there was 3 pool options in each side of the property. There's also a separate adult's only pool 😉 Personally I only really ate breakfast on property but each time I had it, it did not disappoint. Club Regina has my heart. If you're looking for a peaceful stay with great amenities like gym, pool etc, then you'll love it here!

Also perfect distance from the airport and san jose del cabo and other areas.

A golf cart ride is needed to get to the main lobby. Not regularly on time. Had to wait more than 5 minutes. Coffee pot was provided, but no coffee, which would be fine with a coffee pot was able to be plugged in at an outlet that convenient most of the time the cord on the coffee pot didn’t reach the outlet closest to it. When you requested something from front desk a I’ve bucket because I didn’t have one they never brought it requested a replacement coffee pot had to ask 3 times. In short, very poor response time from front desk and if any response at all.

We arrived by Uber. The property has a no Uber policy. We were dropped at the gate. The gate agent seemed flustered and didn't offer us a solution to being dropped at the bottom of a hill in 90 degree temps with luggage. We requested a ride. He had to call twice before a ride arrived. Took maybe 20-30 minutes. Once inside we registered and were immediately solicited for a timeshare presentation, which we declined. We arrived in our room. Very musty smell. I noticed black mold on the ceiling of the shower - the likely cause of the smell. The bell hop noticed we had some food, but no fridge in our room. He called the front desk for a mini-fridge. It was not delivered, and at the end of the day we threw out our perishable foods. One of the pools had green algae growing on the underside of the rim, and all pools just generally need maintenance. Breakfast was complimentary, and was good. Views were amazing, and one day we lazed in the pool and watched whales for at least an hour. Pool bars were not staffed when we swam - maybe the wrong time? Bed was comfortable. We could hear our neighbors through the door, so thin walls. Hotel is 18 miles from downtown Los Cabos San Lucas, and Uber was about $30 each time we came and went, with fast pickups. Stay was okay. For the distance to town to the inconvenience of not letting Uber on the property and the musty smell in our room, plus the time share solicitation, I wouldn't stay again. Of note: the staff were incredibly helpful and kind.

Room is in need of some updating; view was amazing from our room- saw whales from the patio, staff was very courteous and went above and beyond. Not gonna lie, the walking was hard. There are golf carts that will pick you up and take you wherever on property but sometimes it was not worth it for a short distance. I probably lost weight on this vacation due to all the walking uphill.
Overall- it was a relaxing 4 days and will miss the sound of the waves crashing until my next visit.

We had a mixed experience at Club Regina. The location is beautiful, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The food and overall amenities were great, so we genuinely enjoyed many aspects. Unfortunately, the issues with our room dampened the stay. The jacuzzi tub, which we specifically booked for, never worked despite repeated calls to maintenance. Additionally, a ceiling leak in the second bathroom had to be repaired mid-stay. While maintenance eventually addressed the leak, the tub remained unfixed. At checkout, the resort attempted to charge us for a makeup-stained towel, despite their lack of follow-up on our concerns. We left contact details but received no response. In summary, it’s a lovely place with great service, but if the room experience matters to you, be cautious.

Our room was in middle section of the property and had expansive sea views. We could easily walk to the pools and beach, and there were plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas available. The staff could not have been more acccommodating and kind. We had several meals at the property and were very pleased with the prices and quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here!

The views from the cliff side overlooking the rocky shore and beaches below were spectacular. The vistas are open with sunrises & sunsets both visible. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. Staff are welcoming & friendly. A short drive into either SJdC or CSL, but this resort is not overcrowded & quiet.

Fabulous views, enjoyed watching whales from our room and the pool. Sebastian the activities director was terrific - friendly and fun.
One annoyance - people \"claim\" the lounge chairs by the pool, and leave the pool area - so there is nowhere to lie down even though most of the lounge chairs are empty!

The location and property were outstanding. Built into the cliffs overlooking the Sea of Cortez, our room had a beautiful balcony with a full view of the water. As it was the beginning of February, the whales were spouting and breaching 24/7 and they could be seen from almost everywhere on the property. The staff was very friendly and courteous and housekeeping was great. The studio/kitchenette was very nice; it was a good amount of space and it had most of what you'd need to spend a week cooking for yourself. The only negatives: communication with the property before arrival was not good--I texted twice to inquire about the airport shuttle that is listed in the Expedia profile, and no one responded. I tried to contact them through the website, but also got nowhere. Access to the nearby shopping is only possible with a car. Food quality at the restaurant was average, not outstanding, and the cocktails were spotty. Buffet breakfast was nice and included an omelette station.

Fantastic location between the two Cabos. Comfortable bed, spacious rooms, spotlessly clean. Rooms in need of some upgrades, but fully functional. Super friendly and helpful staff. Note that while all rooms have ocean views, you may be looking at another building in between. Our rate included breakfast which was buffet style and generally very good. We saw whales from breakfast area and the pool several times a day. Due to the fact that the hotel is built into the hillside, there is lots of up or down walking required to get in between buildings or from the lobby to your room. However, carts were always available without much waiting. Be aware that they will try to get you to attend a presentation to become a club member. We declined politely, and were not harassed any further. Valet parking is required; they will not let you self park, and there is an additional fee of $6 dollars per day for the service. We very much enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return in the future.

The staff was very nice. The room was ok but we had a problem with lack of privacy. The window was in direct view of the next door balcony so we could not open our shades if someone was out there. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub but there were particles coming out of the jets so it required cleaning before we could use it. We appreciated the daily service and the pools were nice and well maintained. The restaurant food was ok but not great. The resort required a lot of walking on hills. They did have carts for transporting guests but not always available. One problem is they don't allow Uber drivers on property and they don't always have staff at the front for calling a cart so that was annoying. Not sure if I would stay here again.

We were allocated a room which had a connecting door to the room next door.
This detail was not included in the room description which we received when making the booking.
There was someone in the room adjoining ours who was coughing loudly and for prolonged periods for 4 of our 6 days. This was extremely disruptive, not because someone was obviously unwell, but because we were not informed that this room, and perhaps others, was/ is not sufficiently private to justify the cost . Had we been informed of this arrangement we would most certainly have made other arrangements. This is an unacceptable lack of transparency and we anticipate compensation from the resort management upon receipt of this complaint.

The resort is sprawled out along the cliffs and shoreline, providing a great opportunity to walk the little \"streets\" or take advantage of the golf cart service. The Inizio restaurant provided breathtaking views of the ocean!

Staff were happy to be of service and were attentive.

Food services were limited and okay. The breakfast buffet was predictably the same nearly everyday.

The resort has recently been bought and plans are in place to do major renovations to the accommodations. While this is good news, it means there are \"fundraising efforts\" underway...ie selling memberships. We could have done without that.

The resort is well off the main corridor highway which provides a quiet environment however without your own.trqnsportation (which we had) you'd be isolated with a limited offering of restaurants and activities.

All in all it's a great place for those of us who genuinely want a quiet place to chill.

The rooms were huge, all have ocean view, and a huge tub overlooking it. Everyone was super nice, the food was very decent and prices were OK. This resort has all you need to make your vacation week a dream.
There are 3 pools and there was plenty of space for everyone when we were there the week of Christmas. No rush, space to swim, lounge, and some optional animations with lovely organizers.

The club just got bought by the Accor group and they will start renovating the rooms. I thought the rooms were fine, just the A/C could have used a tune up.

20 minutes to San Jose’s lovely town with amazing restaurants, shops and gallery’s, with plenty of uber to take you.

Bonus: whale watching from a place at the resort.

I absolutely recommend this resort.

A Breathtaking Escape at Club Regina: Unmatched Views and Incredible Service in Cabo

My recent stay at Club Regina was nothing short of spectacular and truly breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property is nestled in one of the most exclusive parts of Cabo. It’s right next door to the luxurious Palmilla and seamlessly connected to the gorgeous Westin, offering a setting that’s second to none.

But what truly sets Club Regina apart are the views...absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, and in my opinion, the best in Cabo. You’d be hard-pressed to find a more stunning panorama, and you get all of this for a fraction of the price you’d pay at neighboring resorts charging $3,500 a night.

And then there’s the service...absolutely incredible. From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel like cherished guests. The concierge team offered fantastic recommendations, and we have to give a special shout-out to Miguel, the incredible server who greeted us every morning at breakfast with a warm smile. They truly made our trip unforgettable, and we can’t wait to come back.

In short, Club Regina is a hidden gem that delivers luxury, breathtaking views, and an exceptional level of service that stands out in Cabo. It’s the perfect choice for an unforgettable getaway.

Many events happened at this resort to lead to my poor rating. Trouble with our rooms the first couple of nights. Resort did very little to compensate for our frustration. Middle of the night alarm, flooded room, Luke warm shower, long waits for a new room…
The staff overall were friendly. The managers minimized our issues and offered a $100 refund which barely would have covered a meal. Finally settled on a free dinner and drink package. When we checked out we found that we paid for all of our drinks because the ones we got weren’t included in the package. No one told us this when we were ordering even though we showed them our bracelet every time we ordered a drink.
We will not be back or recommend this resort to anyone!

The views from every corner of this hotel are simply stunning and breathtaking. Ocean and sunrise views every day from every room balcony and even the bed! You can even see the whales! Since it is on a cliff (think Positano or Santorini) you will get your steps in walking up and down hills although they do have carts to take you around. I had a little studio with kitchenette-- rooms are a little rundown, and main restaurant is pricey for the quality BUT it is a tradeoff I was willing to make for the amazing pools and beachfront access. Happy hours 2x1 drinks at the different bars are a must. We also went out comfortably using Uber to San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas to eat, explore, and have fun. You can book excursions from the hotel as well and they were nice and not pushy. This hotel is part of a local timeshare group so they will try to get you to attend a talk-- simply decline or just don't show up (I no showed). Staff is super friendly. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway and do not mind sacrificing certain room luxuries for the priceless views!

Our check in experience was poor, per Expedia, check in time is 3pm, we waited till 5pm due to room not being cleaned on time by staff. Front desk staff told us check in time should be 4 pm per México standard!! They also charged us extra $35 Can as resort fees ( not mentioned by Expedia)
The room was a bit dated but clean and ocean view was nice, we were not impressed with the delay in check in for close to 2 hours!!

For the money, this is the best value in Cabo. Every room is ocean front in beautiful buildings stacked on the cliffs. The staff are all exceptional, especially my friend, Alan, who is as kind as he is handsome. The Club and Grand Suites are exceptional values. This hotel is far from the 8.4 rating on Hotels.com. The reason is that it got new owners a couple of years ago and the employees there explain that it’s gone downhill from then. Since the rating covers more than the past two years, it does not accurately depich the current rating. The issue is not that it’s older and “run down”, it’s that it is extremely dirty (See picture) which is consistent with other ratings. I arrived in my room and was met with a really bad smell. On top of the fridge, I found my first bug (cockroach?) and then started to look around and found another one on the wall and when I looked at the top of the closet I saw that it had not been cleaned for years. The noisy a/c would also prevent me from sleeping in the room so I requested another room. The new room smelled better but was also extremely dirty, including a toilet with “brown spots”. The staff is actually very nice and friendly and are doing their best. They agreed that it was extremely dirty and that they knew it but that the new management just didn’t care. I didn’t have time to find another hotel, so I asked them to come and clean my new room in front of me so I could at least stay there. It’s a pity, the location is great, and even though it’s older, it could be fantastic if it was just clean. But it ruins the experience when you constantly think what else they didn’t clean, I can only imagine how the kitchens look.

Club Regina offers a great bang for your buck in Cabo. The resort itself is a bit dated and could use some updates, but the trade-off is well worth it. The location is excellent—right between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas—making it easy to explore both areas. The views from the property are truly incredible, especially at sunrise and sunset. The resort is very dated and everything… needs repairs. The first room they put us in had a fire in the AC unit when we turned it on filling the room with toxic plastic smoke. They weren’t going to move us. Sent guys to repair it. We had traveled all day. They did eventually move us to a nicer room with a balcony. Beautiful location but severely outdated. Please be clear with people that the room they are booking doses not have a balcony. And the hotel is old.

Pools are great. However, what brought us back to this resort for a third time was the beach which used to be accessible from the property and was wonderful for long walks. However, a hurricane destroyed the beach in front of the property. (October, 2025).
The windows leaked and I was stepping in water getting out of bed. Lighting is cold because of “daylight” bulbs and the great view could only be enjoyed with the doors opened because the glass was so dirty.

Every person employed by this property is a gem!! Love the coastline and ocean view! The pools were wonderful and sooo clean. The food is very delicious and well presented. The rooms are just a bit dated but had a nice layout. Our balcony was great. The patio furniture comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfy. It was a lovely quick vacation!

The location of this property is fantastic, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding hills. Clearly, this has top-tier resort potential, but it is now well past due for a thorough renovation. The facilities are overall clean but very dated. The rooms are especially run-down, with the bathrooms probably in the worst shape. Everything is reasonably functional but looks about 20 years overdue for an update.

On the positive side, service is fantastic. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very professional. Dining options are decent, and the food is tasty for the most part. There aren’t many entertainment or activity options within the resort, but the pools are nice. If you get a good price, it can be a great deal—but you should know exactly what you’re going for.
