Food was terrible, took too long and minimal options. Our shower handle was broken and kept falling off, our \"butler\" read my message but never responded... mind you, on the whole trip I reached out once. The drinks didn't taste like top shelf so we paid an upgrade for no reason. The pool was dirty even after it opened at 8am

The resort was amazing and the staff was wonderful. They would meet you with a warm greeting every day and would always make themselves available.

Diana, Gabriel, Brisa and Roberto gave wonderful recommendations for excursions, providing the utmost detail so nothing would catch us by surprise. Since we had children in our party, our concern was their safety and enjoyment, to which these four ensured we were properly informed of.

Overall a wonderful time. Can’t wait to go back.

The staff wasn’t as hands on as I would have liked. So if you looking to get good service and drinks everytime you look up this is not the place to be. After check in you are set to find your own way around there is no direction given which also made it worse. I have been to better all inclusive where the staff seem happy to have you . O and room with balcony ocean view but no patio furniture. Food was horrible

I only like how the pools looks from the balcony of our room. The foods was horrible. Japanese restaurant is no bueno. Service was horrible. Don’t think we will ever return. Only stay one night because I came from Paradisus hotel due to flight changes. And just need another night decided to go cheap. Well I get cheap and kids screaming alright!

Brissa and Diana from the concierge were amazing and so helpful! They made dinner arrangements for us each night, scheduled a birthday dinner for my boyfriend and I and even gave us a last minute late checkout.

All the staff was wonderful from the bartenders Manuel and Mariela, to the wait staff Julian.

All the restaurants were delicious. We felt so taken care of. It was an amazing trip. Will 100% come back.

The advantage plan/upgrade with the private pools were not worth it. Pools not kept, mold. Most of the 5 restaurants they advertise are not open. Some nights only 2 were open. Buffett was limited and also not open some nights for dinner. Take a bite had no food to offer except a few old muffins.
Several restaurants food was not good at all. We left several restaurants and had no where else to eat.
Locals come in wed/thurs/fri so others don’t get much service at all. Reservations are moved down the list even if placing earlier.
Won’t be back- we stayed 7 days
No shuttle service without a fee
$100 cab ride too and from airport for 2 people

Super comfortable beds, great AC, amazing staff. We experienced a power outage, but would not have been able to tell except for the noise of the on-site generator. Didn’t impact our experience at all.

Fish tacos from the pool bar and grill are a must. Dinner beachside at The Grill has amazing views.

If you are looking for a very private quiet vacation, come here in May. I was treated like royalty. I reserved an oceanfront room.
And was surprised to know that I had butler service. My Butler Armando, it was very attentive. Made reservations for me every night for dinner. Check the me throughout the day. And brought me anything I needed.
The rest of the staff was very hospitable.
My room was kept clean daily and my refrigerator was stocked. I was able to order room service if I didn't want to go out and eat.Every aspect of the service was amazing.
So many food varieties, from french to mexican to japanese italian and habachi. It was all great
I love that there is an adult pool with the swim up bar. I only gave 4 stars because on a couple of days there. This pool was not kept clean and one of the days a family came in with their children with pool toys
we're not asked to go to the family pool.
I definitely recommend this hotel.

The Food was horrible. Buffet was similar to a Grade School Cafeteria Buffet. The sit down restaurants were borderline un-edible. We had the all-inclusive and resorted to eating Granola and Yogurt from the Buffet for Breakfast, and skipping all lunch and dinners and eating out. We were in town for a Wedding. The Stay at the Krystal was the worst part of the entire weekend. Mainly the Food. Staff was nice enough, save escorting the Bride and Groom whose wedding we were in town for off the Premises because they didnt have the Dumb Bracelet. Wanted them to pay $100 for a Day Pass. They just stopped to say Hi and thank us for coming...but Staff and Security kicked them out. Even though 30 of us paid to stay at Krystal for THEIR Wedding. Was embarrassing. Even if that didnt happen, Id take your Money elsewhere...this place has the feel of a Cheap Cruise Ship at a Lake in Arizona then a Resort in beautiful Cabo San Jose.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. Our room, although not overly luxurious, was clean, well equipped, well maintained, and the bed was comfortable . The common areas are impeccable clean and nicely equipped. This resort has three pools, two more family oriented, and one adult only. All were perfectly clean, clear, and staffed with many friendly food and drink waiters. The dining options are plentiful and the quality of food was good. We participated liked the Italian and Japanese restaurants that were onsite. The buffet was a great alternative for a quick breakfast. The thing that set this resort apart from others was the professionalism and friendliness of its staff. The front desk, staffed by Hector, Bogart, and Isaac were very helpful when my wife asked to be accommodated with a room change (she wanted a better view). The concierge staff of Diana, Roberto, and Gabriel were helpful in helping facilitate our tour and suggesting options for local dining and attractions. Julian and Pedro at the Adult pool bar did a great job keeping everyone happy with their drink and food orders. Sara from the Italian restaurant was a lovely waitress and host. And Romero the bell boy did a fantastic job facilitating us checking in And checking out with our luggage and shuttle service. We look forward to returning for another stay.

Overall great value for your money.
The things I liked: the room, very comfortable bed, dining room and couch. Very good lighting. Great a/c. The location was on the second floor, and we had a view of trees/pool/bit of ocean. The grounds are beautiful, we never had a problem getting a lounge chair, the pools are very nice especially the adults only pool (it felt like an entirely different resort). If I came back, I would splurge for altitude. The staff is friendly especially the waiters at the adults only pool (drinks were good here).
Things I did not like: the food is not good at all. I can literally count on one hand the items I liked (all fruit, donuts/cheese danish, guac and chips from snack bar and tiramisu from Italian restaurant). There were items that had potential but fell flat (cold vegetable tempura from Asian restaurant and cold grilled sandwich from the grill). My partner enjoyed the food at the grill. Overall the view at the grill restaurant was amazing and the Asian restaurant had the best food but was very loud.
There are kids everywhere running around, I would definitely recommend spending time by the restaurant area and adults only pool if you do not have kids with you. The bathroom is very small and the toilet struggles to flush (great hot water in shower). No chairs on balcony. You can hear traffic noise at times as this resort is on a busy road with current construction.
Overall this was a great value for the money if you know what you are getting.

The resort upin entering is very nice and the staff was very friendly and hospitable. The junior suite was smaller than ee thought, but the beds were comfy and room clean, however we paid for ocean view balcony and were told we had no balcony furniture and we could use our dining room furnitre from the inside and take it outside. The the pictures on the hotel.com website showed furniture but we had none...none of the standardbrooms did. This made it problematic when we wanted to dry out our suits and sarongs. We had no place to put them as it took away our seating.

Ok the biggest issue were the bird's around the only place to eat a meal at breakfast and lunch at the Buffet. You coukd eat at pool snack bar but thatsvall it was.
At the buffet the outsude dining was dirty with bird poop and 20 to 30 pigeons plus small birds perched on rafters and decorative wall dividers waiting
swooping and swarming over a table. At one point there were so many pigeons on the table top fighting for scraps. The chairs of a set table are often dirty and each time i would request a differnt chair abd seat due to bird feces on the chair or gounds near me. Some waitstsff would squirt a water bottle to move them but that creates chaos and filth. It is a huge problem. The hitol maintenance staff neexs to putnup spikes or some apparatus along the rafters and other perk areas to discourage and move the birds along. Most staff were nice and friendly. Could not beat the room view but everything else was just decent. Pictures & description online are deceitful. If it wasn't for the Concierge team i would have given a lower review. Buffet was small didnt even offer sausage or bacon for breakfast. Buffet Never open for dinner and take a bite never had food except some tiny pastries had to pay extra for Gelato. Ice machines broken no paper towels in public restrooms. The restaurants food was bland, service slow and food always luke warm. Umbrellas not available at beach only pool side.

We stayed at the Krystal Grand last week, it was amazing. We booked the Altitude package and it was so worth it.
Joel our butler was so helpful, he made our whole experience so easy and wonderful, coordinating dinners, sharing information on activities and arranging amenities.
The rooms were a good size with great views and the beds were very comfortable.
The staff at the resort were all amazing, offering great customer service.
We only went to the adult pool and could get loungers no problem. However the loungers could use an upgrade, the cushions were a bit uncomfortable.
The restaurants at the hotel were also great, we didn’t have a single bad meal. Breakfast at The Grill was our favourite.
Overall, this is a great hotel with wonderful staff and we would stay there again!

I booked this resort three months in advance for my birthday getaway and also coordinated accommodations for my four cousins, so I was extremely disappointed when the room I originally selected was not available upon arrival. I specifically paid for an ocean-side view with a king-size bed, but instead my only options were either a king bed facing the inside of the resort or a double-bed ocean view located above the restaurant with an obstructed view.
This resort was chosen based on the online reviews and photos, but the actual experience did not match the expectations that were advertised. The property appeared unkept in several areas, and the restaurant and food options were very limited for a resort stay.
There were also maintenance and room assignment issues during our visit. The toilet in my bathroom leaked throughout the stay, and another reservation in our group specifically requested double beds for four people but was instead given two rooms with king-size beds, creating a very uncomfortable arrangement.
The one bright spot of this experience was our butler, Armando. Armando went above and beyond to assist us, address concerns, and help salvage what could have been a completely ruined birthday trip. His professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness were truly appreciated and made the biggest difference during our stay.
Unfortunately, because of the overall condition of the resort, the room issues, and the lack of proper accommodations, I would not recommend .

The room overlooked the beach. We were given two queen beds instead of a booked King bed.
The curtains were hanging off the rail. The cleaner did not take away used towels, replenish toilet rolls, replenish empty shampoo or body wash.
The whole room needed a paint refurbish. Indoor and out.
Adult pool was great. Great pool staff, and very clean. Beach view was great. This quite frankly along with the butler service made the vacation. But not everyone can afford to upgrade.
Staff friendly some more than others. Adult only pool staff awesome, some restaurant staff more than others gave excellent customer service. Little things that matter for example, bringing a saucer for a cup, topping up tea and coffee without being asked, use of side plates.
The butler service was amazing (Altitude only) very customer service orientated. Very attentive to needs and willing to give advice plus make themself available in times of uncertainty or need.
Very impressed with that service.

Overall our stay at the Krystal Grand was wonderful!

PROS:
--Altitude room and view were beautiful, bed was comfortable, water and beverages were restocked regularly. Cleaning staff was perfect!

--Our butler Joel was AMAZING! So helpful and responsive. Thank you Joel!

--Kamp Krystal kids club! Tania was WONDERFUL! My daughter loved her and begged to go to kids club. Thank you Tania!

--Miguel the photographer on site! We had an impromptu shoot and it was amazing! Thank you Miguel!

--The pools were wonderful, a little cold for me, but nice and clean

--Drinks were wonderful and we never had to wait long for one

--Breakfast at The Grill (altitude Only). Food and service were phenominal (our morning waiter was the best!)

--Pool chairs. Lots of complaints about this but we found it just fine if you got out there by 8 am or so and grabbed some chairs. No biggie and nothing you don't see at other resorts.

CONS:
--Pullout couch in the room was awful. Even my six year old couldn't sleep with the metal bar in her back

--Rooftop bar (Altitude Only) was just a bar with no sun protection and a two foot deep \"pool\"

--Food just wasn't great. I wouldn't recommend the buffett for any meals, it was rough. Italian was very mediocre. I would have loved to try the Japanese and Mexican places but they did not offer a kids menu and wouldn't bring a kids meal from another part of the resort. For a family place, that is just bizarre. We were forced to eat all meals at The Grill.

This is a lovely resort, right on the huge beach! The largest beach I've ever seen, although the waves are huge so not suitable for swimming.

The back side of the property is next to the road so there is road noise. If you have a car, please note the traffic can be pretty bad.

Food was good. The property is approx 30 mins from Los Cabos.

We were very happy with our stay at the Krystal Grand. The property is lovely, the rooms clean and comfortable, the pools are great, and the staff are very nice. The beach is lovely for walks but it isn’t swimmable. We loved the sound of the waves crashing onto shore. Several people we met complained about the food. It isn’t bad but it isn’t 5 star dining for sure. Honestly, the prices of the 5 star resorts in the area were significantly more than the rates at the Krystal Grand when we booked and I didn’t expect 5 star dining. It was a good deal and a beautiful place to spend our family vacation.

Spent 9 days in March with family. Had a great time. Participated in lots of activities. Aqua Aerobics were great with Urías and Vanessa. They were the best entertainment staff. Very friendly, cordial, attentive with guest and would help you with anything you needed. The bartenders at the family pool were top notch. View from the infinity pool to the beach was excellent. It was very relaxing. We even saw whales a couple days from the pool.

-Had friends miss a boating trip due to food poisoning, let them know ahead of time, they would not refun without a doctors note, saw doc in hotel and got charged $200 for visit and then refunded money - racket!

Room was very damp with the humidity. Near the highway which was loud all night. Garbage truck comes twice a week and is also loud. Blackout curtains failed at their job. Room wouldn’t cool past 19 Celsius.

The room, the staff and the price were very good. The food was the weakest part. The choice of Mexican food was almost non existent. I dont know why so many resorts have \"international cuisine\". I'd really like great Mexican food in Mexico! the extra ac tidies that they advertise were also not very good - yoga on the beach, archery and volley ball. But the location and beach is great and the overall cost is much more affordable that most of the competition.

Great service. Music is a bit loud esp in the main pool, a bit quieter in the adult Altitude pool (but would be nice to be quieter). Swim out rooms in Altitude are awkward to get to the lounge chairs - need to go through the pool or climb up from the other side. Food and sevice in Altitude restaurants was excellent.

We just got back home. Loved the free upgrade for my husband’s birthday. The pool concierge Yolanda was the best. She made sure we were well taken care of daily with our cabana ready each day. Julian at the adult pool was great. He always made sure we were well feed and our drinks remained full. We had two little snags to our trip. But the staff took care of our issues. The service was great and a place to consider if going away with your family.

My experience at Krystal Grand Los Cabos was very mixed. On one hand, the facilities are very good—modern, clean, and visually appealing. The place has great potential and makes an excellent first impression.
However, everything else falls far short. The food is very poor in quality, with limited and unsatisfying options. The customer service is slow, inattentive, and overall disappointing, and the staff’s attitude was generally unpleasant.
It’s unfortunate that a hotel with such great facilities performs so poorly in the most important areas: the guest experience. Due to the low quality of both the food and the service, I would definitely not stay here again.

Our stay at Krystal Grand Los Cabos was exceptional from start to finish.

My wife and two kids truly enjoyed every moment. The atmosphere was welcoming, the drinks were well-crafted, and the Grill restaurant stood out as a highlight with excellent quality and service. While the buffet could use some improvement, it did not take away from the overall experience.

What made the trip even more memorable was the outstanding staff—their professionalism, attentiveness, and hospitality did not go unnoticed.

Overall, a fantastic family getaway, and we look forward to returning.

My daughter and I had so much fun on our two short days at this lovely, beachy, fun resort. The staff was friendly and helpful at every step of the way, the grounds were beautiful, the food was tasty and plentiful and the activities were really fun (or it was also lovely to sit back and do nothing). We will definitely be back!!

Food is awful. If it’s not awful, it’s cold. Pool bathrooms always a mess. No chairs avail. No chairs on patio but thatsnok, the wall is too high to see over anyways. No bacon. They “ration” it, if u want to stand in the long omelette line to ask for it. Ridiculous. Same food over and over. Won’t be back.

We truly appreciated the overall friendliness and professionalism of the staff during our stay. Nearly everyone we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. There was one individual at the café whose demeanor felt uncharacteristically rude, but aside from that isolated experience, the rest of the team was warm and accommodating.
We also recognize that the staff made sincere efforts to assist us during a few unexpected situations throughout our stay. However, in several instances, we found that we needed to follow up multiple times before receiving the help or resolution we initially requested. While the outcome was often positive, the process could have been smoother and more proactive.
The resort itself is visually appealing, with a thoughtful and attractive design. That said, the online photos create an impression that feels more elevated than the reality. The pool area, while nicely designed, did not seem adequately sized for the number of guests. It was often difficult to find seating, and the need to pay extra for cabanas—combined with a lack of available chairs—was disappointing and detracted from the experience.
The beach is undeniably beautiful, as is common in Cabo. However, it is important to note that swimming is not feasible in this area due to strong currents, which is typical for most beaches in the region except for places like Chileno Beach where snorkeling is possible.
One recurring concern was the presence of unpleasant sewer-like odors

The area is nice for a calm vacation. Different pool options, food options, and activities. Although some staff members were a little rude. The hotel room was clean tightly and spacious. I do wish there was a tour given before because it’s is a big place and feel like we found things out last minute and couldn’t utilize it.

The hotel is in need of a refresh. The bathroom soap/lotion containers are falling off the wall. We only were given 2 bath towel and 1 hand towel. No shower mat or face clothes. When asked for an extra towel was told no. No patio chairs so you had to move the ones from room out. There is not enough pool chairs and they are very uncomfortable.

The pools were always clean, a little sand on the bottom in corners, but nothing to complain about. The pool bar staff and the lady in charge, Yolanda is fantastic, they run themselves off their feet to serve everyone. The rooms are clean and well services, however, they forget to bring clean towels on some occasions. The staff on the nights we ate at the buffet, were terrible. The lady who operated the buffet bar, was rude, shut off the icecream machine an hour before the buffet shut down time. She turned it off and said there were no more icecream, yet we witnessed her pumping the icecream into plastic bags. This was at 9pm when the buffet remains open till 10pm. Unfortunately did not take her name. The rest of the staff at the night time buffet took forever to bring refreshments to the table. To the point we had to go and get our own. As for the kitchen, they would keep stocking up on all the carb-like foods, pasta, rice, potatoes, fries instead of refilling the beef (steaks one particular night). They would bring out more chicken (odd cuts) and dry pork. When we inquired about the steaks (char-grilled) we kept being told, 5 more minutes, then 1 more minute, ten when my husband went to ask he was told 30 more minutes. We don't usually leave bad comments, but this was too much and two nights in a row. Booking at the speciality restaurants doesn't exist anymore, they only give you a \"past pass\" so you can try to get in quicker than others, No specific time is guaranteed.

The pools were great and excellent for enjoying with family and young children. Overall the hotel amenities were very good, the staff was excellent and always looking to help and provide a very enjoyable experience. The main buffet restaurant always had great quality varied food options. We also tried 2 of the dinner restaurants and the food was good but the service was less efficient and poorer than in the main buffet restaurant since they had less servers staffing those restaurants.

Our main issue was our room, a Junior Suite Ocean View Double. The door to the room was on the backside of the hotel facing the busy highway and the services side of the hotel in tower 4 so it was very noisy for the road and garbage trucks/services/main AC room for the hotel. The room’s furniture was also dated and not in the best condition or cleanliness. Both beds were unstable and we had several other issues with the room that we reported that the staff helped resolve.

We would certainly stay in the hotel again and would recommend it, but would look to stay in a different part of the hotel that also offers a room in better condition.
