Rubano the manager was nice . He upgraded our room. But the Gym is a joke. It us delapedated, work out bench broken, 20 pounds of weight, no ac. Whatever equipment they had was unusable. They could invest some money to fix it.

I saw at least one, if not two, cockroaches in my room. It's also not an ideal location--not close to the city center. Though there are some shops and restaurants you can walk to, it's a bit hilly.

The room was clean. Our AC didn’t work the first night and they sent maintenance to try and fix it but ultimately we needed to switch rooms. The food at the hotel restaurant was alright but not good, but there is plenty of great restaurants around the hotel. For the price it still was a good experience.

The hotel has a very good location right on the beach. The beach, kiosks and chairs are groomed every day. Food/drinks service on the beach can get a bit slow if the pool area gets busy at lunch time. Breakfast was the best meal from in the all-inclusive for us, followed by lunch, dinner was a bit flat, but we found good restaurant choices within walking distance.
The lady that ran the games in the pool was a blast and the entertainment in the evenings was fine too. All the staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. The room and all common areas were very clean but they're all a bit dated.

My stay overall was pleasant. I felt like the hotel itself is very clean and the staff is polite and very kind. I gave it four stars because the place is run down a bit. They have a beautiful water façade that was empty. The pool is missing tiles and all the furniture looks like it has been there since day one. The breakfast was pretty good. They have a great spread that changes slightly every day so I encourage people to get the all-inclusive breakfast. The location is also really good. You can always exit the property to get food and explore the town a little more.

The all inclusive package is a great deal, each meal is a variety of delicious food and drink. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, they really seem to enjoy their jobs. The pool area and umbrella area on the beach are very nice. This resort is a step down on the party scale, but it's PERFECT for a slower, quieter experience. If you want the loud parties, take an Uber to San Lucas and enjoy the craziness there. Then come back to Posada Real for a calm evening. :)

My stay at Posada Real Los Cabos was extremely disappointing from check-in to checkout.

At check-in, I paid the sanitation fee in USD. The front desk clerk gave me change in pesos, which was fine—but the amount was incorrect. When I questioned it, she became visibly upset and insisted her calculation was right. After I used my own calculator to show the correct exchange based on the resort’s stated rate, she reluctantly gave me additional pesos, but the interaction felt unprofessional. She also spoke to other staff in Spanish in a way that felt dismissive and excluding.

Since the resort charges for all-inclusive access before check-in, I had to pay separately for breakfast while waiting. The $20 USD breakfast was not worth the cost.

The property itself is clearly outdated and not accurately represented in photos. There were visible maintenance issues, including falling tiles at the beach bar and poor overall upkeep. The drinks were watered down and lacked flavor—even the mint used in mojitos tasted spoiled.

The most concerning experience happened on my last day. I went to the dining area about 20 minutes before opening to see if I could grab something quickly before my flight. After being told by the concierge that it was okay to go in, I witnessed a staff member drop serving tongs on the floor and then place them back on the cold food bar without cleaning them. When I addressed this, I was told there was nothing they could do since they weren’t officially open yet. That

Staff were not welcoming, not one worker ever had anything to say and acted like they hated their job. Food was terrible, first room we got was worse than some jail cells that I have scene. Can't get a adult beverage before 11 am. No nightlife or even day activities. Down right a boring resort that I would not recommend to my worst enemy.

This resort was alright. We wanted a small resort and this is the smallest in Cabo. The drinks were lovely and the pool was great. We never had any issues finding chairs.

Sadly, the food at this resort was very bad and we had to eat off resort most nights. Also, there was no WiFi in the rooms. I do not believe we would stay here again because of that.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly and helpful. I recognized some of the staff from last visit 3 years ago. Room clean and everything worked. Beds FIRM. AC worked well. Water hot for showers everyday. Lots of repeat visitors, peoplewho have been coming here for
years so that says something. This is an older place and lacks some of the fancy amenities. Pool is basic and shows a bit of wear. Lots of chairs and loungers on beach and around pool. Nice big umbrellas for shade. Easy to relax and watch for whales. Bring binoculars!

Only thing I was disappointed in was food at the hotel. Beach food was pretty good but avoid the hamburger and fries. Stick with the Mexican food offered. The in house restaurant remains buffet style. Good breakfast items offered daily with omelets to order, etc. The quality of the lunch and dinner meals has suffered compared to previous visit. They served steaks on a few of the days and they were...um...pretty tough. I am not that picky honestly but the tough meat was the talk of the beach on the days it was served. I think I would stay here again but maybe go out for lunch and dinner. Lots of fabulous restaurants in a d around town.

The place is a little dated and could use some updating but it is clean and the staff were all very friendly. The beach area is quite large and there was no problem at all finding spots to lay out. No fighting for beach chairs or other foolishness.

This is a small hotel without some of the big resort amenties like multiple food options, organized activities at the pool and beach and entertainment. But if you are looking for great beach, ocean view rooms with balconies, clean rooms, safe neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants and grocery store all walkable and a very friendly staff this is a great choice.

The room was very clean. Furniture was uncomfortable so I was disappointed about that, as all I really wanted was a comfy chair on the balcony. Loungers were limited poolside.
Staff were extremely nice EXCEPT for Maria. She's billed as concierge, but acts like ALL the other hustlers. It took 2 days before leaving me in peace.

I spent the budget getting here. I cannot abide all the hustlers I had to encounter on this trip. If I want to go on an excursion or see a time share I'm pretty sure I can ask about it myself.

We have returned to Posada Real because of the great location fantastic staff and reuniting with travellers that return at the same time as we do!
One area of concern is the tracks on the sliding doors in the bathrooms. Please have staff use a steam sprayer to eliminate the stuff that collects there.

This resort was just what we needed! It was clean, food was good and the staff were amazing! Will be booking next year. If you are looking for a 5 star experience well you wont have that here. But the staff treat you like a 5 star establishment. The pool was amazing and the swim up bar was just what i needed. Its more of a relaxed and chill environment with all the guests. Almost every guest we talked to were repeats some coming back every year for almost 18 - 20 years. Cant wait to come back!

We wanted to be close to the beach and shopping. Hotel Posada Real is on the beach which is what we wanted. The local market/shopping is about a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel itself is not luxurious but the rooms and restrooms were nice and clean, and it’s in a great location. We didn’t experience any disturbances throughout our trip. We honestly relaxed! They have a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner for those who don’t want to wander out. The menu changes every day
and offers several dishes to choose from. Prices are reasonable and the food is decent. There are also several restaurants at a walking distance to satisfy your taste buds if the buffet isn’t or doesn’t offer what you’re in the mood for. The servers, waiters and staff are very friendly. Shout out to Selerino, Luis & Javier! They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I would also say this is a family friendly hotel. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back soon.

They need to repair and maintain the pool. The room is okay. No elevator going to the 3rd floor. Waiters are NOT so friendly. They forget or ignore your food or drink order.

Food selection limited. No gymn facility, except the tennis court they have. Compared to Cancun with power like sand, the sand here is a bit rough. Mornings and evenings are very cold this time of the year.
