We had a swim out pool room and it was ok, nothing special. Our mini fridge had warm drinks and when we called to have cold drinks brought to us they brought warm drinks again. We asked for a bucket of ice and they said ok 2 min and 24 hours later we still had warm drinks and no ice. We would have loved to enjoy some cold drinks in our pool but that didn’t happen. Room service was slow to pick up old dishes and they sat in the cubby making it very stinky. The drinks at the main pool were horrible and so was the service with the exception of Sonia. We were there 6 days and she was the only notable server that was personable and attentive.

The best service we received was from Cruz I think he was a bellman. He was so accommodating and very professional. We really enjoyed the Barracuda bar as well as the bartenders both of them were outstanding.

Food options were not great nor was the taste with the exception of Market Cafe for breakfast.

We probably won’t return it wasn’t worth what we paid.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was nice and clean and all the safe was friendly. If you are looking for a place to relax with adults, I would highly recommend. If you want to visit the arches, it is about 25/30 minutes away.

Awesome resort if you're ok with spending time at the pool. The beach is not accessible from the resort and that would have been good to know before booking it. It's also located pretty far from downtown and excursions if that's your thing. We spent more time at the pool than we usually do on vacations because of this. None the less, the resort is awesome, clean, great service and plenty of options to choose from when it comes to restaurants and drinks.

Extremely clean property with exceptional attention to detail and great service from all the staff we interacted with. Room was great, spacious and clean, and was done every day on time and turn down service every night. Would like to shout out a couple employees from the pool staff who went above and beyond to take care of us during our stay - Roberto and Leonardo were amazing! They quickly learned our names and drink preferences and gave us excellent attention, care and service every day! Also, special shout out to Susana from the entertainment team. She provided a very fun and memorable experience at the Black jack table during casino night. Great work Susana!! Also, a couple employees at dinner really made an impact with their level of service - Christian at the Portofino Italian restaurant provided amazing service with a smile and Itsumi our teppanyaki chef at the Himitsu Japanese restaurant was extremely entertaining and made our experience so fun and memorable. All the food we had was tasty and prepared quickly and perfectly. Overall, we loved our stay here and would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay with excellent service.

Wonderful all inclusive resort. We enjoyed the liveliness of the main pool, and the relaxation at the preferred pool. Met so many cool people and really enjoyed the various activities put on by the entertainment team, namely the water activities, grass volleyball, hiking, biking and beach excursions (shout out to Frankie, Miguel, Axel and Ivan!). It allowed us to have a nice balance of relaxation and activities (burn off some of the food and dranks).

The rooms were clean and nice, not the biggest but good for what needed. The food was good, we really enjoyed the preferred breakfast and the main breakfast area as well as the coco cafe (decaf nonfat latte was delicious). The Japanese restaurant was good too we actually preferred the a la carte to the hibachi. The Mexican restaurant was of course the favorite though, especially the empanadas, tacos and churros.

I will say I think it is worth splurging on the preferred if you care about drinking quality spirits and you like having a quieter pool area with free cabanas (plan to put your bag down to hold your spot at 8 or 9am). We enjoy meeting people and some good music so we actually gravitated toward the main pool for most of the stay- and paying for a cabana there right by the pool was really nice. The preferred stay also came with its own checkout building (with a bar and snacks as well) and access to the a la carte breakfast which was delicious and had a nice view (but it's outside whereas the breakfast buffet is indoors).

The property and staff are awesome, and the food is delicious and plentiful and available 24hrs.
Paying for the preferred suites is worth it, as you will have access to all amenities; it will be money well-spent.
When ordering from one of the many bars, make sure you ask for the \"ojo rojo\" (red eye, a mild-spicy beer-based mix), they can make anything you ask.
You must consider it is a desertic weather, so consider taking proper care of your skin; you may not feel it while swimming at the pool, and also be aware of mosquitoes.
The spa (hydromassage) was a bit of a disappointment as it is outdoors (under the desert sun), so it was hard to enjoy it.

Just got back from Secrets Resort in Cabo and honestly had an amazing time. The resort was beautiful, clean, and the staff treated us great the entire trip. Food was way better than most all inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at, especially the restaurants at night. Drinks were solid, pools were relaxing, and the views of the ocean were unreal.

The rooms were spacious and always kept clean, and the atmosphere was perfect if you want a mix of relaxing during the day and fun at night without it feeling too crazy. Cabo itself was awesome too.

Definitely a trip we’d do again. If you’re thinking about going, I’d recommend it.

We were given a terrible room, not what we paid for. Angel, a manager wouldn't do anything for us, except offeringus a different room, the next day, on the 3rd floor in a building with no elevator. We are 70 and 77 years old.
Thankfully, we met with Monserrat Rico who promissed us the correct room that we paid for the next day.
She gave us excellent service throughout our stay.
We are repeat visitors to Secrets, but the encounter with Angel, and the horrible location of the room we were given, convinced us to never come back.

Second time at Secrets. Notable change from last time. The staff for the most part are very good, but, this time they tried to upsell everything…it started immediately after check in. The guy was aggressive and outright rude when I told him I wasn’t interested in his “deal”. After that it was upselling meals and extras. Don’t fall for it the all inclusive meals are good

Nice pool area. Some people put down towels early to reserve. Staff will move if they don’t come back within an hour. Staff we friendly and helpful. Food was great. Service was great. They try to get you to join the club, but are not too pushy if you tell them up front you don’t want to join. Non-smoking resort. Only place to smoke was a smoking area near the front gate.

The property was beautiful and 90% of the staff was great! However, the food and drinks… the bar drinks were not good - at all. That was a bit disappointing. Not a lot of good, high quality choices. And we were convinced that some of the “high quality” bottles had something else in it.
Oceania was our worst experience - food and service were not good - at all. Breakfast at Market Cafe was probably our best food experience.
I don’t know that we would go back, because even with the good deal on Expedia, it still wasn’t cheap. And while being preferred is nice, it’s unfortunate that if you were not preferred, you definitely got a different level of service and it wasn’t nice. For almost $400 a day per person, we really felt they could do much better.

We had an excellent ocean view we enjoyed sitting on our balcony every morning it was so relaxing.
The property is so well maintained you see flowers and trees everywhere you also smell the flowers anywhere on the property. The food and the service by the pool were outstanding our stay was very memorable. Esmeralda at Coco cafe made us the best coffee and always greeted us with a smile!

This resort is absolutely beautiful. Quiet and away from the party scene of Cabo. We were offered an upgrade which we took ( and paid for ) but it enabled us to use a separate part of the hotel. So we were never fighting for a chair. I do just wish when you booked that it was made apparent that there is a whole section and pool which is not available to you if you don’t upgrade. Having said that the restaurants and wine etc are top notch ! Better than most all inclusives I’ve stayed in . Would come again

Delmore, the activity host definitely made our trip 10,000% better, he was so much fun. He’s very knowledgeable of the area and was able to give us lots of information about Cabo. Ivan was also great on the bike tour.

The only problem we had with the resort is the app is used to make hibachi reservations and you can only make two people at a time so the app is not good for groups. The concierge made us a reservation at the hibachi table called and confirmed it 10 minutes earlier when we got to the restaurant they did not have our reservation and would not call the concierge’s desk said they did not have the number. So the communication between the restaurants and the concierge‘s desk needs help. Also at checking in. They do tell you cannot swim on their beach, but they do not tell you that there’s a beach less than five minutes away that you can’t swim in. They definitely can work on better communication with the guest.
