The only thing we have to say is the bed toughness was ROUGH lol sooo hard, we are a little haggard, backs and hips hurt from how firm the bed was (ask for extra pillows). Otherwise wonderful experience!

When we arrived they told us our solarium room was not available because of electrial being shut off. It was a little rocky checking in but Gillermo Queseda took care of putting us in the room we booked and it was a pleasant stay from that point on. Its clean, safe, staff is friendly, all the restaurants and buffet was delicious. Bed was comfortable, and we are picky. Had extra pillow and blanket, ironing board and iron in closet. They have coffee in room, drinks in fridge, room service was good. Came 1st week of June and weather was nice. Only last day was cooler and pool was still good in the later day. Carlos in Cheviche restaurant was good waiter and Maria in the crepe station was attentive, also Roberto in buffet helped us everyday. The hostest were all kind as well. Water was hot in shower and they give you a complimentary shaver and toothbrush and alot of other things like shower cap, a mini shaving cream and toothpaste. Spa was nice Javier did a great job and the woman in the womans locker room was very kind. I think her name was Maria. All and all we will be back. Recommend.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos, and the staff made it incredibly special. Every evening during turndown service, our maid, Graciela, went above and beyond by creating beautiful anniversary messages on our bed using colored rice, decorating with balloons, organizing our bathroom, and leaving chocolates. These thoughtful touches made us feel truly celebrated throughout our stay.

The waitstaff throughout the resort were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. A special thank you to Gustavo, who provided excellent service at the Bikini Bar and at one of the restaurants. He was always welcoming and made every dining experience enjoyable.

The food was excellent, with the Italian restaurant being a standout favorite. We also enjoyed the spa, which was beautiful and relaxing with amazing amenities. During our visit, they even treated us to fruit, cheese, chocolates, and wine. We had a mud massage that was wonderful and left us feeling completely refreshed.

From the exceptional service to the delicious food and relaxing atmosphere, Grand Fiesta Americana helped make our anniversary trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

As great as our stay was, our check-in experience was terrible as there was a wedding group checking in at the same time. This property has a wedding planning office. Large wedding groups should have their own check-in area/staff. The 2 of us had to wait a long time for a free agent to help us.

The resort itself was very nice, beautiful views all around and very clean. There were a few different pool options plus a beach (quite rocky) so you have a variety of options for how to spend your time. Food was great, you get a lot of great options/restaurants with the all inclusive (there are premium $ menus as well), and although it wasn’t necessary for my family, it looked like they were meticulous with allergies/restrictions. What really made our stay exceptional was the staff! Everyone we encountered were so kind and accommodating. To name a few exceptional staff members, Sofia and Caritina ensured our rooms were clean, organized, and stocked. Jorge worked hard to serve/meet requests by the poolside. Leonardo and Madison at Peninsula were consistently excellent servers, as well as Rosa at Vina Del Mar. I wish I could remember everyone’s name, but truly every staff member worked hard to accommodate and satisfy. Thank you! If planning on booking, I would just note that it is best to bring smaller bills for tipping as it might be difficult to get change, the beach is clean and beautiful but not too swim-able (forceful waves) and one restaurant, one pool, and golfing are not included in the “all-inclusive”.

The property was amazing, with breathtaking views. Unfortunately, swimming at the beach wasn’t possible, which was a bit disappointing. The food could definitely be improved—some restaurants didn’t meet expectations, and there were limited options available during lunch.

On a positive note, our cleaner, Veronica, was outstanding—very reliable, attentive, and always made sure our needs were met. Some staff members seemed a bit unfriendly, possibly due to being tired, but overall the experience was still enjoyable.

Overall, it was a great place to visit, and we would consider coming back.

We booked this very last minute and won’t be returning. It’s a fine resort, but not one I’d want to return to. Overall, food is not good here. If you’re looking to relax by the pool and have good pool service, look elsewhere. Don’t pay extra for the club level; it’s basically nothing. Yes, there’s beach access, but you can’t go far due to the rocks. Tons of construction blocking our “ocean view” which we were pretty disappointed about. Overall, fine for a vacation, but not anything worth coming back to. I’d look elsewhere.

The restaurants stated they were open til a certain time, when I would go around 9ish they were all closed! Some days the restaurants were closed and the food didn't have much flavor as far as ramen, or potatoes weren't seasoned well and the horchata did not taste like horchata. Very Americanized for sure. I also purchased an ocean view one of the reasons I chose this resort, my front view was the pool and part of the ocean.

Mixed experience overall. The pool was nice, but the beach was the highlight—clear water and great snorkeling right off shore.

Food was the biggest downside. The buffet closed at 12 pm daily, which limited options, and even basic meals often lacked common meats like beef or chicken. Most of the included food was underwhelming. The only standout was the steakhouse, which was excellent—but not included and required an extra charge.

Service and amenities were fine, but unless you’re going mainly for the beach, it’s hard to fully recommend.

The front lobby area is a let down compared to the rest of the property. It feels chaotic, however the service is excellent. We loved the beach area the most. Some of the people were getting over served at the poolside swim up bar. It became so loud we could hear them at the beach. It was spring break timeframe.

The servers at every meal were excellent. The food was very good. We would stay again.

I’ll start with this was not out first time at Grand Fiesta Americana Resort and I am somewhat biased with the morning omelets. I will say there is a wide variety to choose from for the breakfasts, the fresh fruit definitely taste diffident in Mexico, in a positive way.

The staff is very friendly and speak great English, so that helps with communication and planning during your stay.

The rooms get tended to daily, so the fridge stays full on snacks and drinks (if you have the all inclusive package, which we highly recommend). I was surprised we didn’t get towels made into animals this time, which was a first.

The outdoor pools, we split our time between the swim up bar and the infinity pool due to the great view of the ocean.

My girlfriend and I woke up every morning and watched the whales spray and jump in the ocean. Get an ocean view if you have the option, the view from our balcony was so beautiful.

The food for dinner was delicious, we didn’t have the sushi this time, but did have the Italian restaurant twice. Definitely eat at The Steak House, as the lobster was perfect pairing with the rib eye.

I will say these two things, the Italian Restaurant should serve breakfast or lunch also, it is a wasted opportunity to eat a delicious meat and enjoy the view, when the Italian restaurant only serves dinner.

One last thing, the water polo pool should have more scheduled activities for those that want to play. I’m confident this staff would be great planning this.

It was a great trip. We stayed here a couple of years back and enjoyed it so much, we wanted to come back. Service was great. Food was delicious. I dinged the rating because i had a $200 x 2 (2 rooms) resort credit for orbitz vip and told them when i checked in and they said it was only $25 per room (another credit from Orbitz). I ended up missing out on $400 in credit because the person at check in didnt put it in. When booking through Orbitz... always have to show really show them your resort benefits at check in and press the issue. Otherwise great stay.

We booked a Superior Ocean View room for our anniversary, but unfortunately our experience didn’t match our expectations. Upon arrival, we were placed in a building quite far up the hill, not in the main hotel. The room itself was very small and had two double beds, which didn’t feel appropriate for a special occasion.
We had contacted the hotel several times prior to our arrival, but our requests didn’t seem to be reflected. Interestingly, our friends made a similar booking and were given a spacious casita, which made the situation even more disappointing.
We ultimately chose to downgrade to a room in the main hotel, which only had a partial view overlooking the pool area.
While the staff were friendly and the food was good, the overall experience fell short. There was no evening entertainment, the atmosphere felt quite quiet and uneventful, and the beach was very rocky.
Having visited Cabo and many resorts over the past 25 years, this is not a property I would return to or recommend.

The staff were the most friendly and amazing people! They were always working hard serving and moving chairs to accommodate everyone. So clean and well kept property. We would have liked a play area for kids 1-4 years but we were able to walk the property lots and play at the beach area. We would have liked a lunch buffet instead of ordering from the two restaurants. Our deck handle and shower door needed adjusting that’s the only reason for 1 less star and the sink was cracked but over all everything was perfect especially the breakfast buffet so amazing!

We were welcomed at the property beautifully. There were drinks available, the check in was smooth and although our ocean view room had 2 giant palm trees blocking the view of the ocean (a little sneaky)— the room was spotless and clean.

Now, before I came I did write to them to ask for their help setting up some special things for my sisters birthday. I wrote twice and received no response.

Here is what was great:

1) one of the concierges (I wished I remembered her name- maybeMaya? ) was Amazing!! She set us up with a great whale watching tour, made a couple of calls for me, was super professional and delightful…

2) they had a nice bar pool

3) housekeeping staff are amazing. Our room was always cleaned flawlessly and they were super polite and kind.

Here is what wasn’t:
1) I asked the concierge to help me find a hairdresser to get my hair done. I asked him for prices and he gave me a range. I was very clear that I My sister and I went to the hairdresser to get our hair one. They did a fine job but the bill came and it was $800. The owner sneaked off and left her receptionist to manage telling us the news. Now shame on me- I should have confirmed pricing when I went in. But when I knew the top of the range- it was inside my budget (it was going to be at the most 250 each) —- when I went to complain at the concierge- he was totally useless. Didn't do anything to help, didnt offer anything to make up for it- and the manager never called me as I requested.

It seems most rooms will have an ocean view. Good solid food choices. There are 6 or so restaurants. 4 main ones are open for nights. An Italian restaurant,
A Mexican restaurant, a sushi restaurant, Mediterranean restaurant, and an optional steak house (the steak house was extra if you wanted to go there.). There were 2 restaurants open by the pool area each day until 5.

We received an upgrade to a one bedroom villa upon check in for no additional charge. We thought the food was a few steps above other brand resorts we have stayed at throughout Mexico. We would consider this a premium product. Great restaurant options with good food quality. Stands outs were Peninsula(pan Asian) and Sushi Sky Bar. Try the green curry and gyoza at Peninsula and the tempura blondie at Sushi Sky Bar. The rolls were very good as well. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. We liked that was a good mix of guests from Mexico, EE UU and Canada. Would recommend for couples or families.

I booked an all inclusive stayed at Grand Fiesta because of online booking says that there are 9 restaurants. When we got there they say that there are only 7 restaurants. The food here are not all inclusive, most of the entries are priced and guests if order have to pay the full price of the food. This is for all of the restaurants here at GFA. I thought all inclusive means all the foods are free but they are not, I felt I was duped by coming here. On to of that the phone inside the room didnt even work. I hope they do better by changing the way they do business so they can attract more visitors. Hope they will have better business practices and all will benefits.

Rooms felt neglected. Building was so old. The quality of drinks and the buffet food was disappointing that I couldn’t drink anything. The restaurants’ food was good. But in general, the atmosphere of the hotel was very old and it didn’t feel like fun hotel. It’d be definitely better if you choose a little more but go to another hotel. We had the most wonderful experience during our one-week stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They were so humble, always ready to help, and greeted us warmly every single day. Their hospitality truly made our stay special.

The view from the hotel was absolutely beautiful and added so much to the overall experience. The private beach was a highlight — peaceful, clean, and perfect for relaxing. The pools were also very well maintained, which made spending time there even more enjoyable.

The food was delicious and offered great quality. However, it would be amazing if they could introduce a few new cuisines to create a more exclusive and diverse dining experience.

Overall, it was the best time spent. We created such beautiful memories here and would definitely love to come back again!

The room was great! We had the 1 bedroom and it was very spacious. The patio view was also great .

The staff and customer service were amazing. They really go the extra mile to provide great service.

The food was pretty good. That the one thing that could of been better. It wasnt bad or anything, but just a little underwhelming.

The location was good. Not too far from the Arch. It was basically in the middle of the airport and the atv riding we did.

We would definitely come back. I miss the customer serive already, especially because we live in California we're people are so rude.

This resort was absolutely stunning. It’s built into the cliffside and has two security entrances before you reach the resort so we felt extremely safe. At the same time, it was very easy to get Ubers to go into town. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was very diligent every single day to keep everything spotless. The service is incredible at all the restaurants, bars, and poolside areas. The food was the best food I’ve ever had at an all-inclusive resort. We also never had to make any reservations for dining and basically walked right into any restaurant with a group of five, which was amazing.The beach was also beautiful and private so there were no vendors trying to sell you anything. The best feature is being able to see the whales right from the poolside restaurants and the pool itself. It’s perfectly located within the hotel zone about 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas in about 30 minutes to San Jose del Cabo downtown and just a little longer to the airport. I really have no complaints about this resort, I would go back tomorrow. Highly recommend!!

Phenomenal resort. Food could be better, feel like the buffet meals could be better, lots of options and but lack of quality.

Room was great, bell boys were great, but if you’re not leaving the resort till afternoon you will be charged $150USD/bracelet to keep your privileges of the resort. If you don’t pay it you’re basically dead to everyone there except the bell boys. If you book 8 days you will only get 6 days of the resort. You lose a half day on check in and a half day on check out.

Staff were excellent! The room was clean and refreshed each evening.
The restaurant food was some of the best we’ve had at a resort in Mexico. Focus is in restaurants instead of buffet which is a huge improvement.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location. We had a wonderful ocean view suite on the top floor which was exactly what I asked for. It was in a quiet location and staff decorated it for my birthday. We really enjoyed watching whales all day and being able to snorkel right out front. Lots of fantastic food and the staff were as friendly and attentive.

Our stay at the Grand Fiesta Americana was wonderful! The staff is exceptional. Our Villa was as far away from the main hotel but this was not a problem. You can request a ride or walk it in minutes. The pools are clean and inviting. The beach was great and snorkeling was awesome. Would recommend some water shoes as the sand is coarse and can hurt your feet after a while. The food and drink options were really good. We would definitely go back!
