The room was good, not as clean as I would've liked but certainly not dirty. Maybe more attention to the floors would be good, there were lots of hair around the bathroom door when we checked in. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The beds were comfortable enough even thought they were a bit soft. The room was huge and bright. There was a burnt out light bulb and the master bathroom only had a sheer curtain on the window so it was not very private. The location was fantastic and the restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent. Overall, our stay was good but not as nice as it looked on Expedia.

Staff were wonderful. The maid was able to leave us some dish soap and a cloth to wash/dry dishes. She would have done them herself, but I prefer to clean up when I use plates etc.The room was clean and comfortable, and nicely appointed. The breakfast that we pre purchased at the restaurant next door was delicious. The pool was lovely with nice lounge chairs and pergolas. The property was well cared for, with lovely gardens.
A couple of small issues: We left a note with the concierge when we checked out to let them know. Neither of the safes worked, which we mentioned to the front desk, but they were not fixed before we finished our stay. The back porch door also made a lot of noise with the wind. We had to block the top and base with towels, and that worked.

We were grateful to find a place to stay on such short notice. It was a mostly clean, no frills, safe place to rest. Be prepared to lug your belongings up several flights of stairs. We were on the 4th floor, which isn't a problem unless you're carrying a 50lb suitcase. Then it can become quite prohibitive, especially if there are any members of your group with any physical limitations.There was a large dead roach in the closet that we saw upon arrival. When we went to shower for the evening, there was no warm water. I tried calling the front desk multiple times from my cell phone and every single time it was disconnected, as though someone picked it up and hung up right away. There is a phone in the room, however there is no dial tone and it does not work. We also tried the WhatsApp number they provided, with no luck. There was no communication back from them on any platform. So, we walked down to the building where the front desk is located, which is quite the walk, and asked about there being no warm water. Apparently this is a common occurrence. They sent a young man driving the transportation truck to light the water heater (which is housed outside on the back patio)and he successfully lit it. We were very grateful for that. There were no washcloths or soap for the dishes that are provided. I sent another message with questions about checkout. I have been home for 2 days now and have yet to receive a response to any of the questions I asked other than a request for a revi

First room we had was not good! They gave us an upgrade to a better room which was very nice. There was some kind of pump running every 15 to 30 seconds at night. We had to get used to. I believe it was under our suite. The people in the resort were very nice and very helpful.! The beach was amazing

The staff was very friendly. Although it was a challenge to communicate at times, the staff worked hard to make sure information was understood.

We only received the complement bottle of wine and coffee on the first day. We needed to buy the coffee pouch if we want. Our stay was updated from single bed room to two bedrooms, but we don't need it. There was no hot water on the first day. Although we sent a message to the manager/communicator, but no action was taken. However, was very fast to sell the excursion packages. We needed to go to the front desk to ask for attention on the hot water issues. It was quickly resolved. The property we stayed is building #3 and the room was quite outdated. We spent our days on outdoor activities and only came in for sleep, so no hardship. The cleaning lady did a good job keeping the room tidy! We paid what we got for this expensive part of the vacation destination as expected!

The staff was reasonably friendly, but they spoke very little English. It was a long walk uphill from check-in to my room (ending with two flights of stairs; no elevator). My stay included one free breakfast at the restaurant; there were no other food options (or really anything else) in walking distance. No information in the room advising about hotel policies, check-out times, etc. Cabs were easy to get, but pricey.

The stay was pretty good very decent just feel kind of deceived with the amenities that’ says they offer that weren’t true! Breakfast is not included they give u 20% off from there restaurant! No elevator so u do have to carry all ur stuff up and down the stairs! I do have bites but can’t tell what if they were from the bed but I did notice them when I woke up! It did have some nice views though!

I had a great view of the ocean, and great sunset view as well from cluster 9. Its an older property with large units. Not excessively well equipped bbut very workable. Didnt like that there were no mosquito screens. Desk lamps lines were cut and the intercom/phone wasnt working. Pool deck was a bit too eposed, but overall was great staying there. The resto Seads right next door was very good. Laundry service was slightly shady bec they wouldnt publish the rates and the timing (ilaundry can be picked up the ff say bec they were soing laundry service for other properties as well). Front desk staff was very helpful and service oriented. Fresko was just across the highway. Overall was happy i booked in that location.

Great place to stay in Cabo San Lucas

The staff was very friendly at check in. The room was available immediately. The room was exceptionally clean, well appointed and spacious, with stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. The restaurant next door was great and gave a good discount for the hotel guest. We will differently go back there and would recommend to anyone we know.

Quiet Area be prepared for Walking

Beds were Comfortable. Location was Great if you want something quieter than the Tourist Zone. Quick Uber anywhere in the area. These are Condo Type Apartments.
Small quiet beaches below the property. Multiple Buildings extend up the hill, pools between buildings. The resort has a Golf Cart and help to bring you up with your luggage. Be prepared to walk some stairs (no elevator) and slopes going back and forth. Great Restaurant with Gluten free/Veggie options on site. Mariam (and Aaron) served us in the restaurant a few times. Both so nice and Helpful with recommendations!

Cleaned every day, very comfy beds, air conditioning and wi-if works great. Suit also has great view. The shower does not seem to work properly as hot water and cold water rotate automatically and u can not really control it. We managed to take shower so not a biggie. Overall is great experience.

This is not a hotel. It is a time shared building with some of the units rented out. From what we could see most of the units were extremely bare, for instance, all the lights in our unit were a single lightbulb in the centre of each room, no bed lampsno standing lamps in the living area. There was one picture on a wall in the entire place

The room had a nice view however, the sliding balcony door was broken, the AC in the main room would not change temperature and was cold all night long.
One of the toilets had a faulty lever and would not flush completely. I think a little more maintenance would make this place a little nicer experience.

Amazing view and lots of space

We stayed at Sunrock for 3 nights and I got the place mostly for the advertised view and the space. They both delivered. The view of the rocks and the arch is breathtaking. The place is more like an apartment and very spacious. 2 bathrooms, great parking and close to everything. It may not be a full service resort but I am more of an explore kind of person so I did not need none of that.

The view was as advertised. The hotel was not. I rented it for my adult children for four nights. During the stay, they never had hot water and toilets did not flush for the majority of time. Requested help multiple times. I was the first to call and maintenance did come, but it did not solve the problem.
I believe there are some updated rooms. This was not one of them.
I was refunded one night stay by Gabriel at the front desk. If our kids had not had a shower and bathroom available at the near by condo we were in, it would have been more of a disaster. Would not stay again.

This hotel has potential but greatly lacking in maintenance. Bare bulb sticking out of the wall, all curtains falling off, sofas super uncomfortable, door handle fell off, toilets running, hair all over the floors. Definitely would not book again. The only up side was the front desk person was very nice.

This property is situated where every room has beautiful views of Cabo San Lucas for sunset watching. There is a pool for every other building so, you can probably find a quiet pool somewhere close. It is a walkable 15 minutes to the nearest supermarket and a shorter walk to Oxxo. Bus routes are in front of the supermarket so not far to catch public transit. The condos are quite large and could easily accommodate a family or two couples, as each room gets a full bath with shower. The property is about a 10-15 minute walk down to a swimmable beach at Playa Cabo Bello. You can cut through the Misiones Del Cabo condo complex and use the stairs to get there otherwise its a long walk through the Cabo Bello condo complex.
On the negative side, the condos are a bit run down, and we had a number of technical problems with hot water, AC, Fridge, TV remote. All were fixed within 48 hours but glad i knew Spanish to explain the problems. The appliances were a bit cheap and functioned ok, but not great. We tended to cook in our condo due to the outrageous prices at any of the local restaurants. If money is not a problem then I am sure you will enjoy a nice breakfast for $$$ at the restaurant.

The office was hard to find, but once we found it, our stay was relaxing and comfortable. Since we had an entire condo for two people, we had plenty of space. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean, but windows and mirrors weren't. Loved the view of the marina. No hot water at sinks, but showers had warm water with low pressure. Quiet neighbors most of the time. Air conditioner worked well. Wish there were lamps by the beds ( just one overhead light in bedrooms).

Disappointed stay

We stayed in building 10, room 105 and it smelled terrible in there. There wasn’t any hot water and there was leftover things from the previous travelers like hair. Will not be booking this one ever again.

0= hot water, 0= wifi, 0= support from GM, this place is worst hotel in Cabo. I have stayed over 5 separate times and its always the same. They once started to retile my bathroom when i was at beach. All my personal and credit cards out in open. When i returned they told me its just a couple more hours of work and to wait!!!!!!!

The grounds of the property are very nice, updated with nice landscaping. Wish I could say the same about our room--sparsely furnished with banged-up, dated furniture. The ocean view was gorgeous from this 4th-floor, 2 BR condo that overlooks a lovely pool, but hard to see because the curtain rods were broken and we couldn't get the curtains open. The slider wouldn't lock, there's no elevator, no kitchen towels, only 1 hand towel per BA, no warm water to shower. There are about 15 different buildings of 8 units at this property, the highest bldg number being down the hill,closer to the water where the office is. We were in building 3 and had to drag our suitcases all the way back up the hill after checking in. Estefan at the front desk was very friendly & pleasant. The workout room was pretty good with a nice view but no towels or water. We only stayed one night and would've complained about stuff had we stayed longer. The price was great for the view.

Just fine if you like COLD SHOWERS!

Considering the location so near the coast line the price was definitely a plus. I had a two bedroom flat with a large living room and kitchen and two bathrooms. There was ample space.
The furniture and space was a bit worn for wear but totally functional.
However, my BIG issue was that there was no hot water in either showers, sinks or kitchen. I told the front desk multiple times both day and evening during my stay and each time they said they would send someone up. I even watched the desk clerk notifying someone on her walkie-talkie. It never got fixed. It being 85* outside I didn't need \"hot\" water for a shower warm water would have sufficed but a cold shower is unacceptable. To my disappointment I got no explanation, no apology and definitely no hot water.
Would I stay here again, hmmmmm? Not so sure about this.

The condo was clean. Nice view. Pool nice. Kitchen needs more things provided - utensils, hand towels, functional ice maker, plastic bowls. New lamps throughout would be nice (cords on living room lamps frayed at plugs -fire danger!). Blankets on beds are old, flimsy & scratchy. But ok for our stuck-in-Cabo 3 extra days because of Hurricane Norma!
