This hotel is horrible. The room was dirty when we arrived and we had to ask them to clean it. The walls of the hotel are paper thin. There is ongoing construction on one side with constant banging and drilling beginning at 6 am. The other side of the hotel is by the port. There were no less than 25 seals on the docks, making extremely loud sounds 24/7. The hotel has karaoke at night that makes the floors literally vibrate. We could not sleep at all. The waffle we ordered from room service was rock hard. When we asked for a refund for the remainder of our stay so we could actually SLEEP during our vacation, the property manager told us that Expedia had not paid them yet and we had to call Expedia instead. Then he refused to answer any of Expedia’s calls or emails, even though they tried repeatedly. DO NOT STAY HERE and reconsider booking with Expedia. This hotel should not be on Expedia’s website.

Beautiful resort. Not big like the others ones. But it has everything you need. From the entertainment, food, drinks and a beautiful atmosphere. It does have a rooftop too, with a beautiful view. This resort is adults only with a beach. Right by everything, so convenient. The mall is a 10 minute walk. You will definitely love it. Right by downtown.

Our stay was absolutely enjoyable from start to finish. The resort maintains a high-energy atmosphere with continual entertainment that kept us engaged throughout the day. We would definitely like to return in the future.
Accommodations & Views
Room: We had a beautiful room that was well-maintained and comfortable.
The View: The highlight was the harbor view. Overlooking the water and watching the sea lions and pelicans was a unique and wonderful experience.
Dining & Service
Food Quality: Excellent variety and quality across all menus.
Availability: We never felt crowded; there was plenty of room in the restaurants despite the resort's popularity.
Staffing: The team was lovely, efficient, and prompt. Their service truly elevated the experience.
Amenities & Grounds
Pools: The pool areas are beautiful and kept very clean.
Seating: Unlike many resorts, there was ample seating available throughout the day, making it easy to relax by the water.

Food was beyond awful. Waste of money to go here. Waited over an hour for a spoon of hummas and a Greek salad that was canned corn and chopped bell peppers put in a cup and then flipped onto a large plate. I was about to pass out I needed FOOD. The breakfast was even worse. Old bread and baked goods. Guy couldn’t cook an omelet it was still not cooked in the inside. Drinks were made with fake label alcohol it was awful. I paid for 4 days and left after the second. The frist day after that salad we went back to our room to change our flight back to the states. View was nice but no one talks about the seals noise all hours of the night. Just bad honestly. And the resort was clearly thrown together. Paint missing in spots, door doesn’t close right. Fixtures not fully secured. Waste of money.

The views from this hotel are simply breathtaking. Our room overlooked the marina and we were lucky to be located on the 5th(top) floor. The marina was a hub of activity with little boats to huge boats, watching them navigate each other especially in the dark was fascinating. The infinity pool overlooking the marina was great to watch all the activity during the day.
The infinity pool on the side of the hotel overlooked the ocean and the arch. Cruise ships moored within sight and it was fun to watch all the passengers go to the town.
The hotel itself was lovely, the food was great but the best thing were the staff, they were great ! Everyone did their best to ensure we had a good time. Shout outs to Santiago, Alfredo and Carolina.

Like any property...this one has good points and bad points. Lets start with the good:
- The property is located at the end of the harbour which makes for great walking.
- Its a small resort, so you never feel overwhelmed with people, you dont have to line up for restaurants, and you dont need to compete for a chair by the pool
- The food is some of the best I've had at an all inclusive, but you still need to be cautious about what you order
- Carlos at the quiet pool, Ruben at Bites restaurant and Carolina the hostess at the beachfront restaurants are all amazing!
- Our room got serviced twice a day
- its easy to book fishing or other tours right on site
- The Nook coffee bar is great...amd its open 24 hours, so its great foe early risers who want a coffee
Now for the not so good:
- the noise from the marina feels never ending...dont try to have a nap before dinner...the party boats will wake you up
- The Xhale benefits are definitely not worth the cost. If you want the cowboy steak, just order it off the room service menu at no extra cost.
- this is not a party resort, so its confusing as to why the music at the main pool has to be so loud that you cant even carry on a conversation.
- the Spoons buffet is horrible...avoid it.
- this resort has some kind of marketing presentation that they want you to sit through. They bait you with discounted tours. If your vacation time is important to you, just pay the full price for any tours and avoid the sales people.

The staff was terrific. They were very attentive and polite. A fresh drink was ready before we needed another.

There is a lot of talk about the food not being good. I totally disagree. There wasn't a meal we didn't enjoy. I think people need to understand that this is not an over-the-top expensive resort where food should be the main drive. You more than get your money's worth.

The rooms were comfortable, and the view of the harbor was amazing. I do agree that the sea lions were very noisy, but there is absolutely nothing that can be done. You can only hear them from the locations around the adult pool and the guest rooms.

There is no swim-up bar, but, like I said, you didn't need to get out of your chair to be served.

The ocean was great, and there was plenty of room around the buoys that kept you within a safe zone. There are very few swimmable beaches in Cabo, so that is a plus for sure!

The distance and route to get from one side of the resort to the other were a bit long and confusing, but really not a big deal.

We took advantage of the free 40 minute photo shoot. They do a great job. The photo's are $25 per photo. There is also a package buy 10 get 2 free. You won't be able to capture your vacation the way the photographer can.

What I didn't see was a lot of tipping. Yes, it is an all-inclusive resort, and tipping is not mandatory, but this is how these people make a living. A few dollars here and there can go a long way.

Love that Breathless is Adults Only

We had an amazing stay at Breathless. This was our 3rd time staying here and we were in the Exhale Club with a 5th floor room. Our maid service was great and loved the turn down at the end of the day. View was awesome. All the food we had we loved. My husband enjoyed the food here way more than the cruise we were recently on. Service was always above and beyond. Ventura at FishNets was so attentive. Ruben at Bites was a hard worker and also attentive. Carlos at the pool was great! He was so friendly, always smiling and hustling and bringing us drinks regularly. Only negative about Breathless now is the addition of Bagatelle on property. The roof of it has taken away the beach view from the Infinity pool that was there before. We actually went to that pool once and never returned. Way too loud, not great service, and the view below is gone. So we spent all of our time at the marina view pool. Bagatelle was also way too loud at night and ruined the ambiance of all of the restaurants by it.
Ocote was delicious to eat at and service there was amazing too. We will definitely return as we love the location and the adults only, but will stick with the marina side pool.

My AC didn't work the outlets in my room didn't work it was 85°, 90% humidity and 82° in my bedroom the rooms are very dated they smell like mold the pictures that you have for this place do not reflect what I purchased this place is not a five star more like 3 star most of the people there are for the timeshare presentation so they got the trip for free same type of people Carnival is kicking off of their cruise ship not what I expected very disappointed pictures tell one story actually being there total different story I was there for 1 hour and I checked out very bad experience downgrade this place to a three star five star you're giving away too much credit that's false advertisement

Most staff was unpleasant, unhelpful only the bar staff was good. Food was very unpleasant except breakfast, but can't mess up breakfast! The restaurants were never available to sit our party or take our reservations! Very pricey for what you get! Several people in our party got food poisoning ended up .The only good thing is the location! We stood at the Breathless Resort in Playa Del Carmen and had an amazing experience with everything! I was hoping for the same in Cabo.

This is the first time I’ve returned disappointed with a resort in Cabo. The service at all the restaurants and around the property was not great. We aren’t difficult to please and had high hopes for our stay at Breathless. Our group consisted of 14 people—seven couples—celebrating a bachelor/bachelorette party, and everyone felt the same way about the poor service.

At one restaurant, we went for breakfast with a party of four, and it took 20 minutes just to have coffee served. There wasn’t a self-serve station, and only when we were ready to leave did they finally bring us waters and coffees. The food took another hour to arrive at our table from when we ordered. We tried to be patient, hoping things would improve throughout our trip, but it was a daily disappointment.

While the views of the marina were beautiful and the property was centrally located, making it easy to navigate town, I wouldn't return to this property. For the price, I expected much more.

Being right on the Marina was really nice. The service and staff were super good! Great drinks and the food was decent. This hotel has a very weird layout. No grand entry area that is common for these resorts. No swim up bars in the pools and very lacking in entertainment. We heard Breathless has a party vibe. It was far from that, quite the opposite. It was a nice place and we definitely enjoyed it but probably a 7 or 8 out of 10.

Almost died the 2nd night there, I order the margarita pizza that comes with tomato and basil which are the only ingredients stated!!! After telling them I’m allergic to nuts they still put pesto with pine nuts on the pizza instead of basil, causing my throat to close from the allergic reaction if I didn’t get to my med OIO in time I would’ve died. They also have someone over room service who doesn’t fully understand English causing them to bring the wrong breakfast to my room 3 times in a row. I will never return to this Resort!!!

The N word. Our room was situated above the lounge and would vibrate because of the DJ until midnight. I called the front dest 5 times and invited the manager to visit the room so he/she could understand what our room location and the loud music that literally vibrated the floor. The manager never communicated with us. This on top of music that blasted lyrics including the N word. Not what we were hoping for on our honeymoon.

We had a wonderful stay at Breathless Cabo San Lucas! The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the marina, with stunning views and easy access to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The beach itself is beautiful, though be aware that it does get deep pretty quickly.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were modern, clean, and offered breathtaking views.

A few things to note: unfortunately, the Japanese restaurant was closed during both days of our stay, which was disappointing. I also booked the Xhale Club, which promised a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, but I never received it. Additionally, while the beach beds (specifically the red ones) were included, the poolside beds—even the red ones—required a bottle purchase to use, which was a bit misleading.

Overall, it was still a great experience and I’d definitely consider coming back. Just a few small things that could make the experience even better!

Great place all around. My only complaint would be room service and cleaning services were odd. We were constantly asking for beer and water to be restocked. When we finally got the restock they didn’t add to the fridge. They would come in to clean our room at random times and multiple times a day. I can’t really say much about the property. Going into this 4 day, 3 night trip we wanted a place to simply lay our head. We chose to get out and experience Cabo to the fullest. What we did experience-
* The layout between 2 buildings and using 2 elevators was weird but FIne
*The pools were fine but LOVED the big one w dj and music
*Cannot beat the location
*Turndown service and daily cleaning, PERFECT
*Staff that we dealt w were great. Pls tip every chance you get.
*CLEAN
- We let them know several times it was our anniversary prior to arriving . Not a single acknowledgement
- The initial spiel about the resort in the beginning, unnecessary
-Biggest problem? It is loud there! First night (2am?) woke up ironically to someone in the hallway yelling, ‘Shhh, shhh, quiet!’ multiple times. 2nd night ? Sounded like someone had an impromptu 4am party at the pool. The worst part? We requested a quiet room prior to arrival. The front desk assured we got the quiet part of the hotel.

Probably would not stay here again.

There are 2 buildings at this hotel.guest Rooms in one building and main pool and restaurants in the other building! In order to go from one building to the other you have to walk outside on the marina. Although it wasn’t a long walk, just the fact that not all the amenities are in one building was kinda annoying!

Just like any other all inclusive hotel the food wasn’t good! Specially breakfast weren’t good at all!!
Beds were comfortable but there since they face marina they are so much noise at night!

Loved everything. Sound proofing the rooms a little more would definitely help. We could hear the conversations of people walking in the hallways and also, the seals barking in the morning. Sound proofing the doors and sliding doors would solve this. The gym also could use more weights and more resistance machines. Installing a rubber floor in the free weight area would reduce damage to the floor and minimize any thumping heard by people on the first floor. Again, these are just suggestions and I made due either way. I would love to come back to Breathless Cabo. Definitely a new favorite place to stay.

I love the view of this property. We felt pretty forced to buy timeshare and purchase different “package deals.” When we declined I feel like the hospitality went out of the window. We were not treated how we were initially. We did purchase a massage, that we did not receive because our flight change and we also were not refunded when asked. The food was horrible, we ate lunch and dinner off of the resort. It’s very walkable and convenient to their downtown area/malls.. we loved that.

Spent 7 nights at the Breathless Cabo. Amazing views of the marina. Live music a few nights. Always able to get a chair at the pool. Food was quite good for the all inclusive package. Never had to wait for a table. My only complaint is that the music at the main pool is too loud. Thanks to Pedro in the exhale lounge, Fernando at Bites and Mariano at the pool for taking such good care of us.

Property was great. When we had unruly guests next to us on our final night, the front guest moved us to the nicest suite in the hotel. Would visit again and would recommend. Very convenient location.
