We had a great time at Tesoro Los Cabos! This was our second time staying there and we loved it! We were especially pleased with the staff at the pool: Fidel, Jaime, Alfredo and Israel. They were super friendly, attentive to our needs and they got our orders right every time!! Thank you! We will be back!

Hotel Tesoro is one of my favorite hotels in Los Cabos! Staff members are very helpful and kind. They all were very attentive to our needs and always followed up with us. The all inclusive option was amazing as well! The breakfast buffet had to be my favorite, it had a variety of options! Was always well fed and had drinks in our hands! Great location in the marina if you wanted to explore and walk around. Also very close to all the nightlife maybe and 8 minute walk. I will definitely be staying here for a 3rd time next time I come!

Loved the location, which is right in the marina district. Great places to eat in all price ranges. Great music nearby. Check out band called Kid Monsters! The pool area was beautiful; the rooms were older but well maintained. The swim up bar was great!

I’ve stayed at this hotel for the past three years, and it has definitely changed. Unfortunately, this will probably be my last stay here, even though the staff is fantastic. The hotel has increased the cost of guest day passes, I wasn’t allowed to bring my friend up to my room, which felt very unusual, and while I appreciate good security, it felt excessively strict. At times, I honestly felt like a prisoner in my own hotel.

The property essentially located in a good spot. I did have multiple problems with the room from no hot water to no dishes, spoons or cups in the kitchen. Toilet wasn't flushing correctly. I had the maintenance crew out multiple times to the room.

Tengo que reconocer que mi estancia en el hotel ha sido de las mejores sobre todo por la ubicación.Mi pareja y yo quedamos mas que satisfechos por el trato que nos dieron desde el primer día en recepción,nos atendió una joven guapa y súper amable.El cuarto súper limpio con nuestra vista a La Marina disfrutamos uno de los mejores amaneceres y todo nos quedaba cerca de ahí,restaurantes,tiendas,la playa,nightclubs y el fácil acceso para nuestros tours. Disfrutamos la alberca,jacuzzi y muy buenas bebidas con todo el personal muy amable.Muchas gracias,sin dudarlo nos volveríamos a hospedar en Tesoro los Cabos de nuevo.

We were not offered free or reduced breakfast pricing, as others in our party were. Disappointing after the previous 2 trips to Tesoro. Pool Bar not being open and limited beer options during \"Happy Hour\" were very disappointing.

Staff was wonderful throughout the resort. Cleanliness was fantastic. Coffee options in our room was sparce.

Great location and view. For me that was the highlight. Not once could I have a warm shower. But I booked it because it was cheap and for the location. Don’t leave anything you value outside of the safe. We had some stuff stolen that we failed to secure properly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tesoro. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the marina and close to everything, which made it perfect for a short stay. I would say it’s ideal for about three days to fully enjoy the area.

The breakfast experience was a bit mixed. The servers were clearly working hard, especially taking great care of local guests. A few times we had to get up and grab our own coffee, while others were receiving more attentive service and explanations about the buffet. We were mostly just told that breakfast was ready and shown to our table.

That said, it wasn’t anything that negatively impacted our trip, just something worth noting for consistency.

Overall, the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and we had a really good stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to be right in the heart of Cabo.

could not exit parking lot after check in had to go back in to front desk for them to resolve issue. could not have a friend come to my room for an hour visit, they wanted $65 dollars for that , did not pay so no visit from friend. manager said he would allow it but my friend was already going back home, i recieved a phone message saying that my friend was on the road and the manager asured me she was coming up. the next day i asked my friend if he told her she cound get access,she said never. so manager lied twice. the mattress was disgusting, extremly dirty and torn

Nice location on the harbor. We stayed on the hotel side, our friends stayed on the condo side. It was nice to have access to the pool, but our friends did not. The hotel bars were more expensive compared to bars across the street. I thought the staff was pushy selling you upgrades, but that's what they do.

Breakfast was fresh, great variety and different options on different days. The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful . Room had what we needed and if we needed something housekeeping would provide it with a smile. The concierge staff took care of us as soon we step inside the hotel and we enjoyed every day of our vacation walking through and back and if we had questions they would gladly helped.

The location is amazing and the hotel was very clean. No complains there. The food on the buffet was acceptable, nothing really great to recommend to anyone. However the menu for \"El Faro\" restaurant was horrible. They took forever to bring the food and it was not that great! The servers tried, but they forgot about my drinks (not alcoholic) all the time, and the wait time (again) it was horrible.

Bathroom had hairs on the floor, the curtain rod was hanging up but loose due to missing about 8 screws. Ice was far down the hall. I was unable to book drinks go to my room even though I had prepaid deposit, we had to call the desk ourselves to get it straightened out. I had a discount card but was never told to present it before seating for breakfast buffet so we were told we couldn’t use it but in the end they would make an exception . We didn’t know this building was a time share/travel club so check in was delayed an confusing.

Room wasn't prepared. Smoke alarms was beeping. Burned out light bulb wasn't change. Wasn't impressed.

We didn’t use any of the amenities. Other than the pool.
We went during spring break, which was a mistake because they really catered to spring breakers and there is no accountability for their behavior
I don’t feel like it’s too hard to room all the spring breakers in one tower and the families in the other tower
I had to change rooms our first night because our room looked onto the pool and people kept trying to walk into our room
And I know it’s not their fault but the power did go out in the harbor and the emergency backup generator didn’t kick in so we were in the dark for four or five hours

The ocean was visible, and was wonderful with the full moon during our stay.

The staff was less than helpful with local information, couldnt direct us to anything outside the hotel. It was like they took an oath not to help the guests with anything outside the hotel.

We did not visit the spa.

Our last two days, we had to call for housekeeping to clean our room. NOT cool!

Very little info given and they didn't even direct me to where the elevators were to find the room. Very hard sales pitch to get you to sign up for activities. That was disappointing and uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet is an absolutely ridiculous price.

The staff was awesome - very friendly. Room design was poor. Bathroom door only opened halfway. Shower door barely opened. I’m not sure how a heavy person would be able to enter the shower. We had the all-inclusive. When we checked in, they told us that we had two restaurants to choose from. What they neglected to tell us was the dinner menu for both restaurants was identical. Plus, most of the items on the menu were premium items so they included an up-charge. Housekeeping was poor. Many times we had to call to get an amenity that hadn’t been replaced, I.e. coffee, hair conditioner, etc.

Staff support was very lacking. Tesoro has been my preferred Cabo location for quite a few years now for visits both personal and business, especially the last 3-4 years when on tour with a band performing at a venue located WITHIN the Tesoro complex on the Marina.

For the last several years, it was no problem for band members - professional touring musicians - to use a Tesoro hotel room for changing clothes and storing personal effects during the performance for a few hours. Suddenly, the hotel has decided that, even though this in no way impacts the number of guests actually staying in the room or consuming any other amenities, only a registered guest with RFID wristband can use the very space that was booked and paid for, even for a few minutes. Highly unreasonable and frankly unheard of across decades of global travel.

Formerly a favorite property in Cabo, can no longer recommend Tesoro as traveler friendly if you happen to stay there and may have friends/family who may want to stop by - best find alternate accommodations!

Incredibly disappointing after so many great years, not to mention the poor upkeep (broken toilet flush mechanism, shower door that doesn't close and leaks everywhere).

Completely understand the need for a policy preventing large groups/parties/etc. but they have gone way off the deep end of reasonableness with this current setup. I'm sure there are other properties who will appreciate my regular business and referrals.

We stayed for five days and LOVED it! The breakfast had all we would have wanted, the pool area was beautiful with lots of chairs available any time of day. The resort and rooms are very clean and the staff were friendly. We felt very safe walking to the many restaurants and shops in the area. We will definitely be back!

Hotel is an excellent location. Staff was friendly and room was very clean. The one item we didn't like was the noise from the Hammerhead Bar. Several nights it went late into the evening like until midnight. We could hear it in our room and it kept us awake for awhile. Get rid of the noise this is a 4 star hotel.

We love Tesoro! The location is perfect for my husband who is an avid fisherman. The hotel staff are extremely friendly, helpful & are willing to make your stay to your liking if it is allowed. The hotel is listening to their customers as to how to improve their hotel by constantly making changes. The rooms are exactly like they show online. We come to Cabo more than once in a year & always stay at this family friendly hotel. We have stayed at other surrounding hotels but in traveling here for well over 20 years but Tersoro meets our needs. So, give them a try. Remember to tip the staff though. They totally deserve it!
