The hotel was nice. I would love an updated TV with Netfix etc. Additionally, the power was out for half of our room during our stay. Room was clean and property was very nice.

It is an architecturally unique structure. I can't speak for all the rooms, obviously, but my room (traveling alone) with a single king-size bed felt a bit cramped. The room consists of a \"living room\" with a couch for additional people to sleep (I guess), but the overall layout was a bit awkward to me. The bathroom was also relatively small. The pool was closed (March 28-29), but the Jacuzzi was on. There was live music, which I missed (ending around 10 PM). Continental breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. No omelet or bacon. Since I do not eat carbs, all I could eat were boiled eggs and cream cheese. I'd say \"avoid it.\" They serve a regular breakfast, too. I should mention an awesome amenity: the shuttle. It was very helpful for getting around the vicinity, and it is free (but you should tip).

I was looking for a comfortable, calming place to stay while in town for a funeral. Hotel Santa Fe was those things, plus the funeral service was within the range of the hotel's free shuttle service. I also enjoyed speedy and delicious room service. The fires burning at the entrance in the evening were magical.

Hotel Santa Fe was definitely one of the nicest hotels we stayed in on our 2 weeks road trip. It was very well kept and nice plus is a free shuttle that took us to the Plaza. Would stay here again if we are in Santa Fe. The Indian Fry Bread was by far the best.

I would think twice before booking this place. Would you like clean towels? Would you like a well maintain hotel? Would you like friendly staff and management? Would you like your room clean daily if staying more than one night? If yes, then dont come here. You're not going to find that here. The hotel has not been maintained and not clean. They charge you for double tax, resort fees which should be used to clean and maintain the hotel. Especially considering how much you pay for the room. Staff was ok rude at times, management really didn't care. We stay here years ago when it was nice now just run down, rude staff and not that good food, service and atmosphere.

Accommodations were above average however, the staff were horrible. Rude, entitled, and unwelcoming. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Plenty of other nice hotels in the area in which to spend my hard earned money. Hotel.com also overcharged me by $91 over what my booking receipt shows and they refused to refund the difference. I will contact my credit card company to dispute and will use a different travel site for my future reservations. Wont use your app again as I expect to pay what I have booked.

I rarely react to it but I check in here to my nice room I was intending to relax in and had a terrible allergy attack all night with the type of down used. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times with a good experience. Before check-in, I received an email that requested prior online check-in. The process involved submitting credit card info, picture of id, etc. I completed this time-consuming task only to arrive and be told the info didn't transfer over.... ok, and we did it all over again. Check in process was less than satisfactory.

We stayed here for three nights over the new years. The hotel property is old and many fixtures show signs of wear. That said our stay was comfortable. We never wanted for anything or found anything non-functional. The location is also convenient, however the property itself is not stand alone, but they have a free shuttle to and from the plaza. Food is good. Service was little scatter-shot but could have been because of the new years holidays.

Front desk staff seemed uninterested and rushed. Perhaps it was just fatigue from holidays, but the welcome was not great. We loved the King Suite. Simple, spacious, and even had a little balcony for coffee. We were very surprised that yet another Santa Fe hotel doesnt offer streaming compatibility. That is a total miss in 2025. Breakfast service was great in the restaurant next to the fireplace. Avoid the continental breakfast. Order off menu. On the other hand, the service in lounge area was poor. They were so kind, but clearly overwhelmed. Management should know better when occupancy is high. Two servers and one bartender was a management mistake, and not fair to service staff. This hotel is convenient to everything you want to be near in Santa Fe. We truly appreciate this hotel being owned by native tribe and the story that was evident in the hotels artwork. Overall, if service had been better we would choose again. No managers in sight, so hopefully they will see this and lend a hand to make the experience better.

We stayed for 2 days, our room was on 2nd floor next to the ice-machine/laundry rooms. On second night they had music night in the lobby, and we could hear loud it till they were done at 9. We also used to hear ice machine whirring. We let the management know that this room has acoustic issues and they should look into it. For the price we paid we felt we should have stayed at better options than this. And this coming from someone who stays in hotels a lot. Nothing against the management there, and the property is good looking but when it came to us, we shared the above experience so you are careful, not to.

This is the hotel for the authentic Santa Fe experience. Located away from the Plaza, but within easy walking distance for everything Santa Fe has to offer. The well appointed rooms are quiet and tastefully decorated with Southwest and Native American designs. The Amaya Restaurant serves great food for any eating occasion. There is a little bar where the by the restaurant where all the waitstaff are very attentive. The entire staff and management offer you a first class experience. We have visited other hotels in Santa Fe to see if we wish to stay, but all fall short of what the Hotel Santa Fe has to offer.

Nobody checked on our table to see if we needed drinks or a menu and when we ordered it took over 30 minutes to get the drink or food. Other guests were complaining also. Really enjoyed the Black Bear shuttle though. It was always readily available to take us where we needed to go and/or pick us up. I want to give three shouts to Jeremy. He was very hospitable the first night we were there and therefore we would seek him out when we were in the lobby. He was entertaining and helpful every time. Overall enjoyed our stay tremendously.

There was a great bakery and a nice coffee shop across the street, two breweries and several good restaurants a short walk away and the free shuttle bus took us anywhere we wanted to go. The lobby bar has a fireplace and music every night which made it a peaceful place to have a drink. The art collection was impressive.
