It is a beautiful southwestern/Santa Fe hotel. I love being able to get green chili chicken enchiladas at the hotel restaurant Amaya. The only disappointment was the wine list at Amaya. Although the downtown/plaza area is walkable, the hotel provides transportation to the area to make it even easier.

Hotel Santa Fe has managed to maintain and emulate the true sense of Native and Hispanic hospitality, cordiality, and welcoming charm. The staff were very kind, helpful, professional. The artwork and craftsmanship throughout create an elegant and peaceful oasis. I highly recommend it.

Room was clean but hotel is in need of some serious update in decor and maintenance upkeep(ie could not get window closed in room because of non-operational latch to stop window from howling). Hotel has such potential if property was updated and better maintained. Especially when asking for the room rate levels they are asking.
FYI- would be helpful if there was valet service

I stayed at this hotel 18 years ago and would definitely stay here the next time I visit Santa Fe. Great location next to the Railyard. Love the complimentary shuttle and morning coffee bar as well as daily housekeeping. Staff was very friendly and the property is clean.

Only glitches to the stay…I had called the hotel on May 9th - the day before we arrived to ask if the pool was heated. They assured me it was. They didn’t tell me it was roped off and not available for swimming. Guest washer and dryer…I got the washer to work, but not the dryer.

I liked the layout of the room -it was essentially a suite and it was the cheapest room. Biggest gripe though is the window coverings which are wooden slat blinds which let in way too much light. Also no coffee in the room though there was a coffee station on each floor by the elevator.

Both elevators were broken for the duration of my stay which required me to constantly walk up and down the stairs to get to and from my room.

Everything about this place was perfect. Locations. We walked everywhere. They also offered a free shuttle for places within a mile radius. We lucked out and got an end unit room with a patio. It was nice to just sit with the patio doors open. Bed comfy. Thermostat actually responded quickly and efficiently to changes in temp. There was even a filter in the vent! Some car noise in the morning around like 8-9 but that’s when the farmers market was going on other than that it was super quiet. We had a quick and light lunch at the hotel during their happy hour at 4pm. I would 100% stay again

It is an architecturally unique structure. I can't speak for all the rooms, obviously, but my room (traveling alone) with a single king-size bed felt a bit cramped. The room consists of a \"living room\" with a couch for additional people to sleep (I guess), but the overall layout was a bit awkward to me. The bathroom was also relatively small. The pool was closed (March 28-29), but the Jacuzzi was on. There was live music, which I missed (ending around 10 PM). Continental breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. No omelet or bacon. Since I do not eat carbs, all I could eat were boiled eggs and cream cheese. I'd say \"avoid it.\" They serve a regular breakfast, too. I should mention an awesome amenity: the shuttle. It was very helpful for getting around the vicinity, and it is free (but you should tip).

I would think twice before booking this place. Would you like clean towels? Would you like a well maintain hotel? Would you like friendly staff and management? Would you like your room clean daily if staying more than one night? If yes, then dont come here. You're not going to find that here. The hotel has not been maintained and not clean. They charge you for double tax, resort fees which should be used to clean and maintain the hotel. Especially considering how much you pay for the room. Staff was ok rude at times, management really didn't care. We stay here years ago when it was nice now just run down, rude staff and not that good food, service and atmosphere.

Accommodations were above average however, the staff were horrible. Rude, entitled, and unwelcoming. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Plenty of other nice hotels in the area in which to spend my hard earned money. Hotel.com also overcharged me by $91 over what my booking receipt shows and they refused to refund the difference. I will contact my credit card company to dispute and will use a different travel site for my future reservations. Wont use your app again as I expect to pay what I have booked.

NIce pretty hotel with good check in process. The room was nice and toiletries nice too. I wish they asked you at check in if you want goose down or not. I rarely react to it but I check in here to my nice room I was intending to relax in and had a terrible allergy attack all night with the type of down used. Asking at check in your preference instead of assuming everyone likes that would have saved this stay for me.I had a nice room but couldnt enjoy it and refresh.

The process involved submitting credit card info, picture of id, etc. I completed this time-consuming task only to arrive and be told the info didn't transfer over.... ok, and we did it all over again. We stayed here for three nights over the new years. The hotel property is old and many fixtures show signs of wear. That said our stay was comfortable. We never wanted for anything or found anything non-functional. The location is also convenient, however the property itself is not stand alone, but they have a free shuttle to and from the plaza. Food is good. Service was little scatter-shot but could have been because of the new years holidays.

Front desk staff seemed uninterested and rushed. Perhaps it was just fatigue from holidays, but the welcome was not great. We loved the King Suite. Simple, spacious, and even had a little balcony for coffee. We were very surprised that yet another Santa Fe hotel doesnt offer streaming compatibility. That is a total miss in 2025. Breakfast service was great in the restaurant next to the fireplace. Avoid the continental breakfast. Order off menu. On the other hand, the service in lounge area was poor. They were so kind, but clearly overwhelmed. Management should know better when occupancy is high. Two servers and one bartender was a management mistake, and not fair to service staff. This hotel is convenient to everything you want to be near in Santa Fe. We truly appreciate this hotel being owned by native tribe and the story that was evident in the hotels artwork. Overall, if service had been better we would choose again. No managers in sight, so hopefully they will see this and lend a hand to make the experience better.
