The room was great, service was very good, enjoyed the meals, the beach was very good (service there was great and attentive if you needed the umbrella relocated.

The only couple of negatives the beach peddlers are incessant, calling, whistling and banging things together to get your attention. The bolder ones will walk into the ropped off area and try to peddle their items. Also when the cruise ship comes in, not sure if it is an agreement with Casa Dorada but they \"take over\" the beach area roped off for the guests. There is no security to stop the peddlers from walking into the roped off area or keeping non guests from the area.

The people at front desk seem rude and not willing to help.
Only people that are good are Francisco, Adrianna, and people at the beach service and pool service. Food tasted horrible, plus $40 for a cheeseburger is INSANE.
ONLY GOOD THING AT THE RESORT IS PIZZA. EVERYTHING ELSE TASTE HORRIBLE, and we end up going elsewhere.

Honest review. Rooms were big, basically a one bed apartment. Had issues with the heat in the room as it did not work, there were a few cool nights. I think what I disliked the most is that there are restaurants between the hotel/pool and the Ocean preventing you from sitting at the pool and enjoying the views. Food options on site are limited but everything was very good. The location is very good. Walking distance to everything, and the beach is easily accessible, and a perfect location. The sand in Cabo is not like Cancun/Playa which is a little disappointing. Its very fine in Cancun/Playa and course in Cabo.

This is quite a beautiful resort that provides a scenic view from the balcony. The food was quite delicious and I recommend the fish tacos for sure. There is beach access as well and you can order food and drink from the hotel to add to your tab. Walmart is walking distance so you can stock up on essentials. You will not be disappointed in the beauty of the room and the entire resort. Book it.

We came to this resort for a quiet getaway and were very disappointed with the noise level of the music, especially on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There is a DJ who plays very loud music which is relentless, to the point where it is booming even in the room, never mind the two beautidul balconies our Executive room had for us. The ret of the time, there is music plugged into the pool area which is sometimes tolerable but still, not a choice.

My husband skinned his knee, I asked for alcohol. They said they bring it up. Someone showed with a first aid kit and cleaned him up and put ointment on him. This is our home away from home! Had been coming to this particular hotel for over a decade! Had been coming for family vacations, short getaways, had hosted a huge birthday celebration! I cannot say enough about the staff and the management! Looking forward to coming here in years to come!

We've been staying at Casa Dorada for many years. The beach/towel staff Gabino, Carlos, Jose Maria and Emilio go above and beyond - they are the best. We noticed several areas where the property appears to be aging and is not being maintained which was disappointing. The room was clean but housekeeping was not 100% on point each day. Great location because you can walk everywhere.

Very nice hotel with everything you need for a vacation in Mexico: right on the beach, clean, comfortable, great and friendly staff.
Downsides:
1. during day time music was way too loud everywhere, I thought I need earplugs.
2. If you plan a long vacation (one week or more) it's better to go to Dubai, you'll get by far much better amenities there for the price

Nice place. Pool and the beach outside were great. We only ate on site one time and it was overpriced (breakfast buffet). It’s an easy walk to Walmart and a second (nicer) grocery store so i suggest you pick up breakfast food there. Also an easy walk to “downtown” and the Marina.

Second time staying here and it was excellent. Location makes it so you can swiftly access great restaurants, coffee shops, markets, mall and marina! Staff is phenomenal. One night the Air conditioner was out and the manager offered to put us up for one night at Bahia hotel across the street, which was much appreciated! Everyone from the front desk, bell hops to pool/towel staff are on point. Highly recommend and will stay here without hesitation in The future

We really enjoyed staying here as it was our first time. We found the hotel to be well presented and in great shape all around. The staff was outstanding, friendly, and accommodating. The location to everything is excellent including a very short walk to the mall/grocery store (Super cheduri). We will certainly be coming back.

We arrived very early due to our flight getting in early and were hoping for an early check in which they couldn’t give us which we understood. Then our room wasn’t ready on time and we had to wait past check in time, this wasn’t acceptable since we had already been there for hours, our room should’ve been done first.

We loved our stay at Casa Dorada. Close enough to walk to the marina and downtown with all the shops. The entire resort was always clean, everyone friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time at the swim up bar, drinking our weight in daiquiris. The beach is right out back with great views of pelican rock that you can enjoy from the lounge chairs and aside from the very persistent vendors on the beach it was just perfect. Would certainly return!

The Casa Dorada is a nice place to stay. The rooms were very nice and clean. The pool was pretty nice as well. My problem with this resort was the price of food and drinks. The drinks and food at this place were double the cost of any other place we stayed or visited. You are definitely getting taken advantage of at this resort.

Great place. Very central to restaurants and bars. We got the all-inclusive and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious. The best food I’ve had at an all-inclusive. Only complain I have is that we arrived about an hour before check-in and although our room was ready, they did not give us the all-inclusive bracelet until check-in time. So we had to go out and buy lunch. Found that a little strange since all of the all-inclusive hotels we’ve stayed at before have always given us the bracelets as soon as we arrive. But overall a good place to stay at.

We had the best time! Our 2 bedroom suite was perfect for our family of 5- clean and ample space. Location of the property is perfect! Beach front and swimmable beach which is huge for us. Close proximity to lots of dining options makes it easy to get around. The staff is amazing- we loved interacting with Gambino and Emilio at the pool and beach, and were well taken care of by Erick and Elizeth at the Spa. Elizeth was amazing- making sure i got full use of my week pass at the spa, which provided access to the sauna, steam room, and cold plunge.
Overall it was an amazing stay!

My stay at Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa was absolutely incredible! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and taken care of. The resort is stunning—beautifully maintained grounds, breathtaking ocean views, and luxurious amenities throughout. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
The location is perfect—right on the beach and just a short walk to downtown Cabo San Lucas. I also really enjoyed the food and drinks at the on-site restaurants—delicious and with great service every time. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional hospitality. Every team member I encountered went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. I can’t recommend Casa Dorada enough and can’t wait to return!

Nice place but will not be returning

Casa Dorada is a prime location since it is on the beach and very close to the city center. However, I believe Casa Dorada caters to white Americans more than any other demographic that visits Cabo San Lucas. When we first got there they let me know that I put my reservation under 1 person when there were actually 3 of us. It was truly my bad, this was originally supposed to be a solo trip but I wanted to invite friends along since the room had 2 beds. At check in, I tried to update the number of guests and Hotels.com would not allow it. We ended up having to pay extra which was a bummer. The front desk had no empathy for us, never tried to negotiate with us, did not try to help us or come up with an alternative solution for us. I realize I made a mistake but I wanted to see if there were other options or some sort of compromise and they were very cold towards me. The workers by the pool and front entrance were very kind and very nice but this hotel does NOT value customer service. I would say we are pretty spoiled in the U.S with great customer service and hospitality but this hotel did not really care about us and did not want to work with us. Unless you are a big spender, I don’t believe they care to be kind to you and respect you. Many places in Cabo we found that since we were not white Americans (we are Mexican American and definitely not white passing) that we were treated differently than the white Americans around us on vacation. It’s very unfortunate.
