Our first experience at a Waldorf and it was exceptional. The staff was extremely helpful. The concierge helped us plan a sunset cruise, desert ATV tour, and secure a reservation at their exclusive El Farallon restaurant. We stayed in the Dos Mares suite which had two balconies overlooking the Pacific. You could hear the waves crashing onshore all the time even though we were four stories above the shore. Our room was cleaned daily to include fresh bedding. Turn down service included complimentary beer. Our fridge was stocked with complimentary bottled water, juice, and sparkling water daily. All the food was good. The resort is a 5 minute walk from downtown Cabo. Highly recommend you choose this resort for your Cabo trip.

Waldorf Astoria in Cabo is the top reason for us to come back and visit nearly every year. The hotel location is perfect for the best ocean views and super close to other businesses and restaurants as well as the Marina. All the staffs are super helpful and knowledgeable. The room service and my personal concierge did pay attention to detail to every single thing that I like, ex : I like Jack and coke so they always make sure my ice bucket is full and my cup ready every night without me asking for me. They would coordinate every single things that I need, from transportation to tours to restaurant and make sure I get back to the airport on time. So far, this is the best hotel.

Special mention to Mariel, she made our stay incredible, helping us with everything we could possibly need, recomendations, reservations, tour and arranging pretty much everything during our stay, she is amazing!

This property is worth the money if you want the ultimate 5 star plus treatment. The property itself is spectacular and the rooms are beyond comfortable. There are little extra’s like welcome drinks and daily beer/chips/guacamole delivery at 5:00. The hotel is intimate with an unbelievable view of the Pacific Ocean. The champagne bar with swings on the beach is a lovely touch…the spa is an experience unto itself albeit a bit on the pricey side …prices are in US dollars throughout the property. It was hard to leave this heavenly experience and although it was my first time in Cabo and at the hotel it definitely won’t be the last.

From the moment we arrived to the resort we experience the best service we’ve ever got. They greet you with cocktails and take your bags to your room they give you a tour of the whole place and escort you to your room tell you all about your room. The room was beautiful! Didn’t seem real. The food is excellent! Try the hearts of Romain salad with lobster shrimp and anchovies. The pictures we took were amazing the spa was amazing! First class all the way!

Stunning resort and best-of-the-best service everywhere on the property - reception, concierge, food service, etc. One of the best resorts we have stayed anywhere in the world.

In building 1, we loved the proximity of our room to the beach and the hypnotic crashing of waves.

Food was excellent, including breakfast and lunch options. Dinner at El Farallon restaurant is one of of the most beautiful settings imaginable. Cabo has many excellent restaurants to try in the area and this one attracts a lot of guests that are not staying on the property.

We spent much of our time in the adults only main pool / bar area. Drinks are legit and well made, not watered down like some resorts. Very laid back atmosphere and you are certain to meet and socialize with other guests. Enjoyed champagne on the beach in the rope swing champagne bar.

The location is also great as you are able to walk off the property directly into the marina and town. Security was well managed at the main entrance. The tunnel entrance through the mountain was quite unique.

Great spa, but a bit dated in terms of being traditional and lacking some more modern amenities. Still very relaxing and enjoyable.

Overall we had an exceptional experience and can't wait to go back. We would recommend this to anyone visiting Cabo.

Overall the experience was ok. The room and property can do with updating-especially the rooms. They were dark, not as specious as you would anticipate and the plung pool on the balcony had missing tiles and grout needed bleaching/cleaning. I would say this is 4 star hotel not 5 star especially for rate they are charging. I've stayed at other 5 star properties-Ventanas, One and Only Palmilla and this just isnt up to that standard. The bright light is the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff.

For the ultimate 5 star experience book your stay here. The communication w/ your concierge before, during & after your stay is superb. They will help you create an itinerary, make restaurant reservations, etc...

The entire property is gated in the ritzy Pedregal neighborhood & a private tunnel leads to the resort. You can walk through the tunnel, take a taxi or golf cart.

My stay in the Jr. Suite (top floor w/ plunge pool & outdoor/indoor fireplace) was the nicest room I've ever stayed at!

The breakfast at Don Manuel's has awesome food (hopefully you get it free like I did b/c everything on the menu is worth trying).

The layout of the property is amazing, right next to the Pacific Ocean that you can hear crashing onto shore while you relax.

I would definitely come back again in the future!

Visited June 27-Jul 01, 2019. The Resort at Pedregal is amazing! (now named Waldorf Astoria) Every single employee my wife and I interacted with were genuinely friendly, pleasant, and just happy. Prepare to make new friends of the staff, they will greet you by name everywhere you go. It was a bit over-whelming. The rooms are awesome with a great ocean view, plunge pool, fireplace, and deep soaking tub. We have stayed at other resorts (in US and Mexico) where it was difficult to get a lounger by the pool, and order drinks... not here, we walked down to the pool and were instantly greeted, and set-up with loungers, umbrellas adjusted to our liking, provided with bucket of ice waters (which they refreshed with new ice often) drink orders taken and even offered complimentary appetizer samples. The restaurant on the cliff was amazing also, you get an amazing view and a delicious personalized dinner experience. Everywhere you go, you are greeted by name. Even coming back from a night in town, in the middle of the night, the guard and workers are there to welcome you. Everything was perfect. Will absolutely go back (when we can save up again- as this place is very expensive, but so worth it) If you find availability here, book this place. You will absolutely love it!

This hotel was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. They care about the small stuff. Every staff member remembered our names and made sure to ask if we were ok when they seen us.

What topped it off was when I checked to see when check out was I was advised that we could stay until our transportation arrived and offered a margarita.

Total peace no worries. Food was delicious, property gorgeous our room had the best view with an infinity splash pool.

Complimentary chips and salsa with Coronas every evening in the room.
Complimentary bottle of tequila as well.
Don Manuel’s food and service was great!
El Farallon was an experience just go!!
When we were leaving they were waving bye as we drive down the tunnel.

Besides the service, the resort is situated in a unique location, between the mountains and the Sea of Cortez, giving you beautiful views. The only drawback was the lack of a lower cost alternative for dining, such as a cafe. We didn’t want to have breakfast at restaurants every morning, but there were no other options.

We absolutely loved our time at the Resort at Pedregal. The Resort thought of everything we could possibly want or need during our stay. We looked forward to our complimentary chips, guacamole and Coronitas every afternoon and our nightly turndown service complete with a different Mexican sweet each night. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our dog vacationed with us and the staff treated him as kindly as they treated us, supplying him with his own comfortable dog bed and food and water bowls. The Resort is located within walking distance to the Marina, beaches and restaurants. The property and the pools were beautiful! Definitely will be going back to the Resort for our next stay.

This is our 3rd time staying at the Pedregal. It truly never disappoints. We absolutely love it here. This visit we were bummed that there were so many people who brought their kids. I have a 9 year old and would never think twice about bringing her to the Pedregal. She would be bored out of her mind. My wife and I had a quiet, relaxing room until a couple checked in next door with a newborn. Thankfully the staff quickly moved our room and also upgraded us to suite. The resort should place everyone that brings kids to the building next to the kids pool. Other than that our stay was perfect. The staff is top notch and the food is amazing, very expensive, but amazing. They even have a representative at the airport to assist you in checking your bags and bypassing the security lines. If you’re looking for a place to relax around a beautiful infinity pool this is the place. Enjoy....

Truly amazing experience. My wife and I stayed here in July for an anniversary vacation. When you stay at a resort like this, you expect the \"bug things\" to be right, but what sets this place apart are all the little things you don't expect. As for the big things, the location is perfect, secluded and private, but also just a quick walk to the Marina and town. Let me explain, in order to the get to the resort, you drive through a torch lit tunnel through a mountain which opens up to the private resort and beach. The tunnel is not open to the public, and the resort offers an always available golf cart service through to the front gate. The resort itself is built into the side of a mountain and I doubt there is a room with bad view. The room we had was number 27, the Dos mares suite. It was spacious, pristinely clean, and well appointed. The first entrance balcony overlooked the resort and was set up with a table and chairs next two an outdoor fireplace. Entering the room, the main bed was large and there were large sliding glass door that opened to a private balcony with lounge chairs and a small infinity pool that was kept in the mid 80 degree range. The bathroom was huge with a nice tube, walk in shower, separate commode and an additional vanity with a walk in closet.

Everything was amazing, the rooms are beautiful, the food is excellent, the spa treatment was awesome and amazing and wish I started earlier to enjoy the whole day at the spa, all the staff super accommodating and professional. I could not say enough and will definitely return to the Pedregal and hopefully get to stay longer.
