I like the activities they had everyday & also the entertainment at night. The staff was amazing & very friendly.
The toilet paper in the room was scent , It was terrible.
I wish there was more access to the beach , it look very ruff waves

We pretty much liked everything. Great location, views of both the city/marina and the Pacific. Could use more and comfortable bar stools in the Lobby bar. Need more bar stools in Whale Watchers bar. No bathrooms close to the Lobby. Food was pretty good with various options except for the hamburgers. The staff was excellent.

I loved sandos finisterra! Great amenities, amazing night shows, walkable to a swimmable beach, Cabo San Lucas! Hospitable, very friendly and professional workers. Mexican food was delicious. I would not bring my elderly relatives here as the terrain is uneven. It is indeed accessible. At night however, some walk ways are not super well lit and I would be concerned that frail elderly would be at risk for falls. If this is not you, though, it will be wonderful!! And they are very accommodating of allergies and other dietary concerns.

We cannot say enough great things about this resort! Our room was incredible, the property itself was gorgeous and you were right smack at the marina where everything is within walking distance. The staff was phenomenal. We just had the most amazing time and would highly recommend!!

Sandos Finisterra did not disappoint. The food was amazing- pool side, sushi bar and pizza, and all the restaurants were fabulous. Not like those huge all inclusive resorts. Pools were not overcrowded and there were spots for just relaxing and for those enjoying their beverages. Carlos by the activity pool was the best. Fast service and always with a smile. The entertainment team was great too!!! Yuki and Manuel were awesome!!! We will definitely be back.

This resort was beautiful! Very clean! We spent most of our time at the activity pool. Our waiter by the pool, Carlos, was exceptional!! The entertainment was fun. The entertainment director, Yuki and her staff were so good at their jobs! Our boys, who were 17 and 18 year olds, enjoyed the pool volleyball and the music trivia. There was a live show with music every night. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Don Diego and the Cupcake cafe! Arturo, stood out as our waiter at breakfast. We tried to sit outside every morning at Don Diego for breakfast because of the view of the boats and marina.
The staff were very friendly and greeted us when we walked by.
Our hotel view was of the ocean and pool but the rooms that faced the marina had a beautiful view also

We had a fantastic vacation here. It was my first time staying at an all inclusive hotel, and now I wonder if anywhere else could compare to Sandos Finisterra! First and foremost, every member of the staff was incredibly kind and gracious, which really set the tone for a truly relaxing stay. The pools were beautiful and warm and the entertainment each night was great and far exceeded my expectations. The breakfast buffet each morning was phenomenal, and included custom order omelets, Mexican hot chocolate, an incredible selection of fresh cut fruits, homemade breads, pastries and jams, as well as numerous hot entrees and made to order quesadillas. We really loved the Italian restaurant and ate there several times. Also, our rooms were upgraded to a large family suite and we had plenty of space and beautiful ocean views from the enormous balcony. Highly recommended!!!

this property was so pretty! We came here on a girls trip. Six of us in our group. We had rooms facing the pool and ocean. The balconies were awesome for morning coffee and reading. The views were amazing everywhere you went. The beach in front of the property is not swimmable… We did not mind because we are not people who love going in the ocean anyway. We felt like the food choices were not that great here. The breakfast buffet was ok. Also after going to different resorts and also cruise ships, it seemed like the staff here was a little more reserved… They weren't as fun as other places.
However, Norma at the pool was so great and fun! A few others too but the wait staff in the restaurants didn't seem to enjoy being there.
Location is unbeatable in cabo!
With all that being said, I still can't give the resort any less than five stars because it was absolutely gorgeous and we had an amazing time!

The minute you arrive you are greeted by the Sando's timeshare sellers to push you into scheduling a tour and meeting to buy into Sando's premium membership. Mind you after just getting out of a shuttle and off an airplane you prob need to use the restroom not listen and schedule a meeting to buy a membership when you have literally just walked in the door. Not a great first impression. The pool is nice nothing out of the ordinary for a all inclusive resort. The beach is Lacking you cant look to close or they blow their whistle on you. Mind you it is not a swimmable area at Sando's. They walk you about 7 minutes away to a small local beach area. No Chairs no umbrellas no amenities at all from Sandos. So plan to just be there with the locals bring your own food and drinks and chair and umbrella. For an all inclusive resort this is the first time seeing such a lacking beach area for an all inclusive resort. Only choose Sandos if your going for a pool vacation. And be for-warned they are pushy on the sales side. Food was ok .

We were offered an upgrade at check in. There was a welcome gift waiting for us. Housekeeping kept my kids laughing by moving their stuffies around. So many choice with the all inclusive. Staff that remembers you. Nighttime enterTainment. Plenty of space at the pools. Beach is not dimmable so be aware but the harbor is right across the street with lots to do.

The property is absolutely spectacular. We had a junior ocean view suite. Spacious room. Beautiful view. Very clean. The food was good overall, some things being better than others. But we definitely did not go hungry. NOTE: if you’re going to order a steak, order it two levels lower than what you like to get close to your preferred cooked level. For example, I like medium to medium rare, so I ordered rare. The best steak was at the torture cantina in the beach. I had the top sirloin with potato wedges and veggies and ordered it rare. It was mediums and REALLY good! Easy walk to the marina and downtown. Be prepared - the locals are gonna swarm you and get close to try to sell you stuff in the marina and downtown. Don’t be scared to get a gruff sounding NO! Out so they will leave you alone. They get right up in your space! A bit nerve wracking.
The biggest draw back is that you can’t get in the ocean because the undertow is WAY too strong. But the waves sound so beautiful when going to sleep at night - like a thunderstorm.
We attending a designation wedding for our friend and it was nothing short of magical! They did a great job with everything (except the Maui Maui - opt out of that menu item and stick with the prime rib).
Also, we did some group activities with some of our people and really enjoyed them. We made sushi and we finger painted and got to bring it home with us as a souvenir!
The pool are fun, and the swim up bar has some really nice shade. Great staff.

This resort is really amazing due to its employees. Joel and Carlos at the pool, Georgina for beakfast, Antonio for the wine tasting, Malu for a massage. The housekeeping staff is also amazing. The shows are for us older which we love so we never have to leave the beautiful resort. We’ve been coming here annually for over twenty years and just love it.

I have never had such a bad experience as I did in this resort. I had to apologize to my wife and kids for bringing them to this place .Our room had roaches crawling at night ac was not working ,,Food at the buffet was terrible same with the staff very pushing sales people ....

Sandos is a beautiful all-inclusive property with a warm, welcoming staff that goes above and beyond to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Pros: incomparable views of botht the Pacific and Marina, ideal proximity to downtown and the Marina, great rooms, welcoming staff.

Cons: food is not gourmet, with the exception of breakfasts, lacking in variety and flavor, room service takes upward of 45 minutes, lines at breakfast get pretty long, my tv did not work properly.

Overall, a good value for a great location and facility!

As an Expedia VIP member, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade upon arrival, which was a nice gesture.
The resort also does a great job with activities and entertainment. There were daily activities for all ages and the nightly shows were fun and well done. We happened to be there when the 2026 World Cup kicked off, and the resort put together a fun celebration that really added to the atmosphere. The staff throughout the resort were wonderful—friendly, hardworking, and genuinely welcoming. The hospitality really stood out and made our stay enjoyable.
A few things could be improved. We found the lunch and poolside food options somewhat limited, especially after several days. The alcoholic drinks were hit or miss for us, and most of the ones we ordered weren't really to our taste.
One thing that's obviously out of the resort's control was the weather. We happened to visit during a very windy week, which made some activities more challenging and created much cooler evenings than we expected. If you're traveling during a windy season, I would suggest packing a light jacket, sweatshirt, sweater, and even a pair of pants just in case. Thankfully, the resort provided blankets for guests who wanted them while watching the evening shows or dining on the beach.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend Sandos Finisterra, especially for couples, families, or anyone looking for a resort with a great location, lots of activities, and exceptional staff.

Always a good experience at Finisterra (we have stayed here several times with and without the kids). Everything clean, and in good condition. We enjoyed our stay at Sandos! It’s a really cool resort built against the mountains. There are multiple levels with bars and restaurants to choose from. Whale watchers bar has rooftop seating and has incredible views! The Cupcake cafe was great for morning coffee also with a beautiful view of the marina. We enjoyed some spa time at the Spa Del Mar. The resort also had constant entertainment, nightly shows, and a few pools to choose from depending if you want music, a swim up bar or quiet. The beach is not swimmable but we loved going to the beach and watching the waves crash. It was our first time to Cabo, it was fun to see another side of Mexico.

The rooms were INCREDIBLE! View of the Marina from the balcony, and open the front door, direct ocean view. Property is beautiful, the newer suites (Finisterra Suites) are built into the rock hills surrounding and above the hotel and marina. Food was great. Pool service was great. Views were top tier! Went for a bachelor party weekend, and even though it's a nicer resort, it was absolutely perfect for the pool vibes during the day. And then a short walk right on the Marino to Squid Roe and the main strip of clubs and bars. Perfect location. HIGHLY recommend!

The staff were extremely friendly and did their jobs well. They always greeted us during each encounter and seemed genuinely happy. The swim-up bar was great, and I enjoyed the drinks. The pool was murky for a couple of days, but they worked quickly to fix the pool. All of the grounds were well-maintained. I enjoyed the painting class, and my husband enjoyed the cooking class. The white party on the beach was a lot of fun. This was our second time staying at Sandos Finesterra, and I would stay here again.

Sandos is a beautiful resort with spectacular views. The staff were friendly. We enjoyed our junior ocean view suite. You can’t beat the location of being within walking distance to the marina. I didn’t have high hopes for the food, with it being all inclusive, but I was pleasantly surprised! We liked all of the restaurants. I can’t wait to go back and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

This was a beautiful property with great food options and amazing views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the food options and activities at the pool. We got upgraded to a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite and absolutely loved the room! What a nice surprise. The only downfall was not being able to swim in the ocean, which we expected and was okay. Neing super close to the marina and shopping was a definite plus as well. I would 10/10 recommend and come back to Sandos!

Excellent resort! We stayed 5 nights and had a great time. Best restaurant was Tortuga! Wait staff, especially Alejandro were great, as well as the food. For breakfast we loved the food and servers Jorge and Arturo. At Emiliano’s, Hector was our favorite server and the food was excellent. For pool service we liked Alejandro. Our favorite pool servers, husband and wife, Joel and Norma greeted us back as though we were family.
We especially liked the Rock band who had performed the last 2 years that we were there.
Improvements made this year were refurbished rooms and the addition of more umbrellas around the pool.
The plants around the entire resort were kept in immaculate condition.
The cupcakes at the cafe were better this year.
We especially loved bartender Luis at the Whale Watchers bar.
This was our 7th stay here and we will return!

None of the alcohol was alcohol after several varieties of drinks not one time do I even feel like intoxicated for that reason I would not be back food selections on menu weren’t very appeasing and limited the staff several times had to get other menu items from other restaurants to accommodate our party the best food was chips and guacamole no upgrade for our room upon asking as our group all received upgraded room level

We loved our stay at Sandos. The property itself is a really nice size. We really liked the layout and the architecture of the buildings being built right into the side of the cliff. The views at the top were spectacular. We especially enjoyed our mornings outside the Cupcake coffee bar. Every restaurant was delicious and the service was top notch. Our days by the pool were nice an relaxing with good energy coming from the entertainment staff and the great playlists! It is definitely not a party resort like some of the other larger ones in the area, which for us we a great thing, but if I was younger and looking for a great night life, it would be dissapointing. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Sandos! The staff, the food, drinks, very clean property - amazing view from our room! I can't say enough. When relaxing by the pool or beach there are always people around to make sure you have a drink in hand. Restaurant variety and quality of food, absolutely excellent. We're already recommending this place to others. Thank you for a great vacation!

The hotel is very well kept despite it is not a nee propertu. Rooms are very spacy and well equiped. Food and wines at the restaurants of good quality. Perhaps more umbrellas at the pool area would be nice, since natural shadows are scant.

We've been coming in for several years and it never disappoints. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very helpful. They have several restaurants to choose from and food is available throughout the day. They have bars throughout the property and after a day or two, you'll figure out the schedule and get on a route. The property is right across the street from the marina if you want to do the touristy stuff.
