The staff are amazing truly the best part of our stay. The grounds and rooms are very clean. The hotel is close to downtown but very quiet. We enjoyed the ocean view from our patio as well as being 5 steps to the pool and hot tub. We stayef for 1 month so access to a bbq and the kitchen in our room made cooking meals convenient too.

We had the best stay! The Hidden House room was incredibly spacious, with large rooms and a great kitchen and dining area. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out.

The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool area is gorgeous. There’s a smaller pool that was perfect for relaxing. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it never felt crowded because there are only a few rooms, so the pool area was always peaceful.

What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. They are exceptionally friendly and helpful and make you feel like an old friend coming to stay.

The hotel sits on a hill, which we actually loved because we enjoy walking. It’s about a 15-minute walk down to the Marina area. The walk back up can be a bit challenging, but Ubers are inexpensive and easy to get.

We would absolutely stay here again — 100%.

My stay at Blarney Castle Inn in Cabo San Lucas was absolutely wonderful. The view from the balcony alone is worth the visit, waking up and looking out over the breathtaking blue waters of the Sea of Cortez was unforgettable and incredibly peaceful. Being on top of a hill makes the views even more spectacular and gives the property a quiet, serene feel.
The room itself was very comfortable, with cozy furniture that made it easy to relax after a day out. The jacuzzi was a fantastic bonus and added a luxurious, spa-like touch to the stay.
What truly made the experience special was the staff. Irma, the concierge, was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful, always ready with a smile and great recommendations. All of the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel cared for throughout our stay.
The location is also very convenient. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the marina, which we enjoyed and did every day, but Uber is easy, safe, and very affordable if you prefer not to walk.
Between the stunning views, comfortable accommodations, relaxing jacuzzi, and outstanding service, Blarney Castle Inn is a place I would happily return to and highly recommend to anyone visiting Cabo San Lucas.

It's a great hotel, clean and beautiful, with friendly staff. Great pool and jacuzzi, and picnic area. Giving 4 stars because the area outside of the hotel is a disaster - the streets are lacking asphalt, all broken up, and is high on the hill, restaurants and everything is pretty far away. Difficult walk OR drive anywhere. But the hotel itself is of impeccable quality, no problems.

We have been to Cabo over 25 times and have stayed at all kinds of accommodations in the area, but this hotel has won our hearts. Housekeeping is fantastic (our room is spotless) front desk staff are so kind and helpful and the view we have is unreal. The area is tranquil and the pool area is clean and well cared for. This is officially our go to spot in Cabo from now on. If you are thinking about booking…do it!

This property is a hidden gem with a wonderful and accommodating staff. Our rooms were very comfortable and the outdoor areas were so quiet. The ocean view from the pool has been partially blocked by a condo but you can see it from other areas. We will stay here again.

All staff was wonderful, the receptionist very knowledgeable and provided with a lot of good tips and recommendations. Place is beautiful, it seems like the pool area was just for us, because we were only a few steps away.
I have 2 recommendations; One is to put a full mirror and the other one to put a tv in the bedroom (we love to watch TV in bed).

The people are friendly. The price is right. The property is unique and has character. Blarney offers what you need and what should be expected for this price range. The road leading up this hotel, either way, is rough and because it is on a desert mountain it has that type feel. The condo’s recently built in front of it definitely impede a full view of downtown, yet allow Much of it to peak through.
It is best to have a car to stay here.
We have stayed here twice this year as a go between our resort stays that do not properly overlap.

But the ocean view from this hotel is awesome
The price is actually unbelievable for such a nice big room
The hotel restaurant Luna italiana and the restaurant employees are great the food is excellent
Also worth mentioning the amazing singer at the restaurant, he is great specially when singing opera we really enjoyed it

Really awesome place. They provided everything we needed: great views of the city, quiet (not in the party area but close enough to get there if you would like to) and staff was very hospitable and responsive to any needs. Room exceeded expectations, with a relatively large kitchen which included a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and cabinets. Back patio was comfy with adequate privacy, and the pool/balcony/deck area was quite scenic and large. The hotel is in an interesting, quiet pocket of the city which is due to its sloping, elevated terrain that can be quite difficult to navigate on foot for some people (some roads are dirt, as well).

Beautiful spot on a hillside above town. Nice view of the coast. Quiet and comfortable. Coffee in the room, full kitchen. Friendly staff. Great restaurant above the hotel that also has a great view of the coast and it’s walkable or there’s a golf cart to take you the short distance up.

Nice enough place. Very nice staff. Quiet. Unable to use the hot tub or pool because of accessibility. No steps or railings which made it impossible for elderly people with accessibility issues to use. That was very disappointing. Have to use uber or taxi as it’s not a pleasant walk to anywhere again for elderly folks.

Irma was the best. Not only did she check us in but took us to the room and showed us everything we needed to know. Very personable and at your beck and call. Ryan was also very pleasant to deal with as well. Our room was perfect. The view, the balcony, the kitchenette, cleanliness, and just what I envisioned when looking for a place. Irma the concierge was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Staff was very friendly. Location is about 35 min walk from Medano beach, so be aware of that, and it is at the top of a steep hill. Good for exercise but not if you have difficulty walking. The restaurant on site is Italian, not Mexican food. The room was good, very spacious, very nice view of town and ocean. Price was affordable.

Property staff was awesome, really nice people, very helpful, check in and check out was fast. But I must say, when I booked the Deluxe room with Ocean view, I expected an ocean view. The pictures on Expedia need to be updated. There is a new building structure in front of the hotel, which has taken the ocean view away for most of the hotel. The pool is nice, the room was very clean and had everything we needed. Its a small hotel but very comfortable, and very quiet.

This place is truly incredible. The beauty of it is not done justice from the pictures, you have to see it in person to experience. I loved that it was super quiet, private the rooms are huge and come with TV, microwave, couch and fridge. We were nicely welcomed by Irma and everyone there was incredibly polite and respectful. Very affordable and delicious restaurant built in the hotel, Their tiramisu is to die for. If I were to go back to Cabo I’m staying at the blarney inn again and again. 100/100 they deserve all of the stars

This is an absolutely great place to stay in Cabo. We felt like we had the entire place to ourselves most of the trip. The pool was great and about 10 steps from our room. It's a short walk into downtown if you want to experience some night life or restaurants, but we took full advantage of the kitchen and really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The staff was fantastic and friendly. I could go on and on, but if you like a more quiet place to have a little more romantic type of stay this one is hard to beat. Not to mention the Italian restaurant on-site is wonderful with a view that overlooks all of San Lucas. 100% will be back.

The room was a wonderful size and minimalistic in a great way.

Comfortable bed and it was nice to have a full kitchen but wouldn't recommend for light sleepers. You can hear a lot of what is going on in the other rooms, even though there are only 6 rooms in the hotel. The pool and hot tub was the best part about the hotel, but the hot tub needs a lot more than the advertised 15 minutes to heat up. If you are planning on walking from the hotel to downtown Cabo, it is quite a trek up a very steep hill.

A MUST STAY for your trip to Cabos!

My stay here was amazing. I was a bit skeptical about booking here at first because it seemed a bit distant from the marina and the beaches, but I was wrong. Walking distance to everything and everywhere. I actually appreciated the privacy and quietness compared to a larger resort. Irma, Ryan, and Brian were extremely friendly and helpful and made me and my partner feel like at home. The rooms are big! Although we didn’t use the kitchen, living room area, or our private patio, we didn’t feel cramped up like as in your average hotel room. The exterior was clean and beautiful and had an amazing view or the city and the marina. We took a quick swim in the clean and refreshing pool which was relaxing. Overall, a 10 out of 10. I’d recommend to anyone and would stay here again on my next trip to Cabos.

I really liked the inn and it’s location. It was a beautiful and perfect place to stay away from the huge crowds of people by the typical resorts/hotels. It also gave us more opportunities to explore downtown shops and restaurants.

If walking is difficult then one can order a ride to and from the inn. We generally walked downtown for all of our meals so lots of walking. We also ate a couple of dinners at the Italian restaurant on site.

We LOVED this property but weren't too thrilled with the very steep incline drive. There wasn't really any place to walk to nearby for food or to pick up some beer & bring back. The bartenders at La Luna next door were very helpful by selling us beer on ice along with condiments. LOTS of steps to climb but absolutely gorgeous views, especially in the evening! Bummer that the jacuzzi wasn't working. Great & helpful staff with very reasonable rates...

The only things that weren't perfect were that the drain in the bathroom was slow and there were these tiny little spider-like bugs on the kitchen counter that we saw one morning. What’s not to love about this place. It is a hidden gem.Located up on the hill with ocean view and a view of the city. Bryan, the owner, Ryan , his nephew and Irmaat the reception are the main folks running the show are very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is beautiful and quiet, very relaxing. Uber is easily available to go anywhere and Uber eats will get food delivered. Would definitely revisit the hotel. A hidden gem.

We used the Castillo (nice architecture theme) as a base to explore the area. Great location if you want to stay away from the tourist noise. With a small car is easy access up the Pedregal 'hills'. Stunning views, sunsets & sunrises! very peaceful and quiet evenings at the swimming pool deck & spa. Some construction noise around in the afternoons when we stayed, but we were out exploring and didn't bother us. Don't miss a dinner at the top restaurant terrace at sunset, priceless!

We arrived on Saint Pat’s Day in the evening & we were greeted nicely by Irma and Ryan Patrick even though we don’t celebrate the holiday. Their credit card machine wasn’t working that night to charge us for our room. I asked to have the charge split between my friend and I. Ryan Patrick said yes no problem. The next day no one was there to charge our credit cards for the room.

We entered the room and the floors and counters were dirty the first day, but we did not say anything because we were too tired and busy meeting friends. The bag pipes were very loud & annoying until 10:30pm.

The next day my friend had three friends visiting outside using the pool and spa. It’s a great view.

Jesus on staff and other helpful Mexican staff turned the pool light on and offered to turn on the fire pit. My friend etc. were not loud or disrespectful. Jesus and staff accommodated my friend & her friends while I was still at the beach. At 7:45pm when I came back this tall white man who didn’t identify himself and we have no idea how he is associated with the hotel said everyone has to leave except those staying here.

I just returned from the beach. He threatened to call the police on us. This place is racist and no other guests were present and we were not bothering anyone.

Unknown white man proceeded to charge my credit card without me being present & didn’t call me, leading to a fraud alert on my credit card, & other issues. Irma is not your friend. Ryan tried to help.

Property was very well maintained. The associates were wonderful, everything worked as expected no poor substandard issues. Other than the workers updating the property we totally enjoyed our stay. The worker did do there best to minimize the inconvenience. We were still very pleased with the hotel and would recommend it to anyone who has a car to come and go as the hotel is on the hilltop and it can be a steep walk up. However you are reasonably close to the marina and and there are many shops and restaurants on the way.

Well let me start off by saying if you do not have a car you will be spending about 15-20 a day on ubers. You will not want to stay at their pool during the day. Unless you are traveling with a group and you are all staying there it is way boring. No bartender so bring your own. Pool was kinda dirty and construction is going on there and all around. You cant walk to many places either. Dirt road is unsafe with dogs running around. Very steep on road going up as well. The uber drivers weren't very happy. Not safe without good shoes and even for the fittest of fit its definitely a hard walk. Beds were comfortable but no TV by the beds which is very weird in my opinion. The restaurant Luna Italiano is decent but if you aren't staying at hotel near not worth the aggravation. Staff was nice but not around very much and the room is very limited with supplies (papertowels none and not alot of cups and plates) all in all i wouldn't stay again because i like being closer to marina. We had friends at other hotels so when by them everyday.

Very spacious rooms, service is top notch and nice hiking trails right in the back. Beautiful ocean view with nice breezes. They even offer in room covid tests if needed.

We had a fantastic time at Castillo Blarney! The location is perfect; close enough to walk into town and for a cheap Uber ride back home, but far enough away to NOT have to deal with the noise and party scene of downtown Cabo. The entire front desk staff speaks perfect English and was able to help us get rides too and from the airport and arrange the necessary Covid test before departure. The room was quite large, with a beautiful view of Cabo and the ocean and a very comfy bed. After seeing a little bit of the surrounding area, I'm very happy I booked Castillo Blarney and would do it again, if I were to return to Cabo.

Property was on the right place good location to see the fire work and Cruse coming to the port right in front of the marina around 15 minutes walk to the marina down the hill on libertad street good cardio exercise the hotel staff excellent

We so enjoyed our stay at Blarney Castle. Beautiful view from this location high upon the hill overlooking the city. Nice big balcony, accommodating and super friendly staff to answer any questions and direct you, beautiful landscaped grounds, spacious rooms with polished concrete countertops. We enjoyed our little walk within the immediate neighborhood and to the Marina everyday but some with knee/mobility issues may prefer to just take a 3 minute Uber to the downtown area—- this beautiful view comes with a steep incline. We enjoyed it to work off our daily intake of tacos and tequila. Super clean! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Solo travellers dream

Every staff member I encountered was kind and very helpful. The room was spacious, clean and I always felt safe and comfortable!!! The views are stunning. Shops stores and restaurants are conveniently close by. 20 min jaunt to the beach and downtown marina boardwalk. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and quiet this property was. The view of th harbor was amazing don't miss the sunrises. They have a pool and jacuzzi that was nice and warm and a step away from your room. They have a bar where Samuel made the best drinks for us. It is a secluded inn high on a hill that really looks like a castle. There is a restaurant and OXOXO store within walking distance altho it is an uphill climb back but doable. It's a $5 dollar Uber ride from the beach or the nightlife. The beds were so comfy we slept in every day. There was a smart tv with lots of movie options me and my husband found ourselves watching a movie every day. Full kitchen even offer purified water which I though was really great. Staff was friendly helped us with booking fun stuff to do. Will only stay here when in Cabo.

Awesome family ran Hotel

Amazing place with great rooms. Everything you need is included (fridge, stove, microwave, plates, cups, coffee maker, etc). We were upgraded to a suite for free due to a leaky AC in our original room. Views were great, place was calm quite and relaxing. Rooms have nice TV's with Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, etc. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating and the drinks at the bar were cheap prices compared to what you'll find down in the bars/restaurants. Overall great place to stay and not far away from the downtown area.

The property was very clean and very accommodating. We loved the fact that there was a whole 5 gallon water container for our unit. And everything you need for kitchen. It made it easy for us to cook breakfast and heat up food. The views are amazing and very quiet and relaxing. We are definitely going back to this place.

My Castle

Hotel Castillo Blarney is the perfect getaway place. The rooms were supplied with all you need while on vacation, great for a minimalist. There was plenty of room for all our stuff. The view of the ocean as well as the city were amazing from anywhere in the hotel. My favorite thing about this hotel was the staff. The most hospitable people I ever met. Tiera and Irma at the front desk were so happy to help me during my stay. Irma is very knowledgeable with all activities. Brian, Rambo and Jason were also very helpful during our stay. We felt like we were the only ones there even with the hotel at full capacity . The hotel is private and quiet but only 5 minutes away from the party. Once you stay here, you are not going to want to stay anywhere else. I can't wait to go back.

Incredibly lovely castillo on top of a hill that overlooks the ocean and the city of Cabo San Lucas, with charming cobblestones and vibrant flowers everywhere. The room was large and well equipped, and the staff were so kind and helpful. It's well situated - close to downtown and the marina without being in the middle of it, though a car is helpful to have given the steep climb. Would love to go back for another visit!
