Clean resort, room service was so slow we ended up cancelling our order--we waited over an hour to have a bottle of wine delivered, good food selection in the restaurants.
I would stay again for the price.

We purchased a Jr. Suite, and needed a roll away bed and to be near my other family members, and thankfully the hotel was not fully booked (assumed), that we were upgraded to a 1st floor luxury suite. We were so happy that they exceeded our expectations ten fold. I might be spoiled now to always book a first floor room.

Glad the hotel is not obnoxiously huge, that walking from one side to another was very easy. We are also happy that we could use the other two hotels just like ours. The ease of having a bracelet that unlocks your room and check in for meals was so convenient. My favorite part was the access to the beach, and having full service while lounging on the sand. We never had a problem looking for a beach or pool lounger. Housekeeping was great as well.

We happened to be at the same time of many high school grad week vacationers. This gave me a perspective of what to expect if my kids are to come to Mexico before they are 21. I knocked off a star for the food, it was good, but I'm sure it could be better.

I highly recommend this hotel, it was central to the downtown Cabo area, $6 Uber to the marina, and walking distance to Walmart and beach restaurants.

Beautiful stay friendly staff, the only downsides were the all inclusive food at most of the restaurants was not good. Drinks were also not great. Rooms were a bit outdated. I would recommend the Nextdoor sister property Pueblo Bonito Rose Los Cabos over the rose, smaller and more calm.

It was a very big let down. Reading the reviews I was under the impression it was going to be wonderful. It was a lot less than that. No water, beer, liquor, or paper towels in the rooms. Room service was very limited and a reoccurring theme you can order a very limited amount. The service from the staff was honestly terrible. The cafe was the worst. Food was not great, drinks (if you manage to get one) are super watered down. If you’re in your teens or early 20’s this place is for you. They run around all night making tremendous amounts of noise. No one can even get a drink at the bar because there’s always like 10 of them just standing around. For us the beach was not swimmable. Over all not worth the money we paid. All inclusive is a joke here. It seems like no one tips and in turn the staff is not on any mood to provide good service. I would not stay there again.

Overall our stay at the resort was wonderful. The staff were very attentive and did their best to meet all our needs. Jesus at the pool was by far our favorite. He made our days at the pool so enjoyable. The food was good, not great. The breakfast buffet was our favorite and the sushi was very good at the outdoor restaurant. The servers do go out of their way to make our eating experience great though. The resort needs some updating, but it is very clean and well maintained.
The major downside was that close to a hundred or more late teens early twenties kids were there. They made it very difficult to get a drink at the bar or even sit at the patio near the bar overlooking the ocean. As the day went on, they got louder and basically took over the pool area. I have two daughters 15 and 17, who didn't feel comfortable playing water volleyball or enjoying some of the activities due to there being so many intoxicated kids everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I know they were just having a good time, which I did at their age too, but it wasn't what we were looking for on our family vacation.
Overall we would stay here again, especially due to the staff. Maybe just a different time of year.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rose. The property is very well maintained and spotless, I was very impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep. You can tell they put a lot of time into maintenance. Our room was comfortable and spacious, the beds were so-so but no real complaint. We enjoyed room service coffee every morning on the balcony, watching the Muscovy ducks and Orioles. The al la carte menus were our favorite versus the buffet. We used the restaurants at the Blanco and the Rose. Sunset and Sushi was our #1 choice. The beach is very walkable but only early in the morning, at about 9am the vendors show up and they are relentless and make being on the beach pretty unbearable. That was disappointing considering one reason we chose this resort for the swimable beach. We booked a glass bottom boat tour through the resort and that was a fun day, highly recommend if you've not gotten to see the rock formations up close. We used the pools at Rose and Blanco, the poolside service is wonderful at both locations. Both pools are nice and well-kept, we liked them for different reasons. We walked down to Baja Brewing through town, the area is clean and safe and very walkable. Overall, a great trip!

My fiancé and I recently stayed at this resort for five days for what was supposed to be a relaxing and memorable trip. We chose this property because of its emphasis on “hospitality above everything,” but unfortunately, that was not the experience we had.

We are both 26 years old and of Mexican descent, and while we did not want to make assumptions during our stay, it became increasingly difficult to ignore the difference in treatment we experienced compared to many other guests around us.
Throughout the trip, service toward us consistently felt dismissive and noticeably less attentive. At the pool, for example, it was extremely difficult to get service. We often had to repeatedly flag down staff just to order drinks, while guests who arrived after us were immediately greeted, checked on frequently, and provided attentive service throughout the day. Since this was an all-inclusive resort and all guests wore the same wristbands, the difference in hospitality stood out even more.
This feeling extended beyond the pool. From the moment we arrived, the welcome at the front desk felt cold and uninterested. Staff rarely made eye contact, and throughout the resort we noticed we were not spoken to with the same warmth, respect, or attentiveness that we observed toward many other guests. Even small things — tone of voice, greetings, basic courtesy, or being acknowledged — felt inconsistent. The resort itself is beautiful, but genuine hospitality is what makes people want to return.

No shower by the ocean beach. Rooms are not loaded like in all-inclusive resorts usually, you need to call anytime if you needed something, even drinking water. Everything else was excellent: helpful staff, clean everywhere, good food, convenient location, ocean beach.

Everything about this hotel was excellent from the check in process, cleanlieness, awesome food, drinks, beach, location and pool. I wish we had booked more time there to enjoy everything they had to offer. We will definitely return and plan a longer visit. The best part as always when we come to Mexico is the friendliness of the people. They are happy, kind, and always so helpful when we need directions or help with anything no matter how small it is. We keep coming back because of them.

Apparently the resort decided to remodel above our room in the middle do the night. Horrible banging and drilling until well after 2am and we had to catch an early flight the next day. We called to the front desk about 6 times and nothing was done in fact the noise became louder.
The mattresses are extremely hard like sleeping in the floor. In fact the floor might be more comfortable.
The faucet in the bathroom leaked all over the vanity onto the floor anytime you ran water.
Worst resort stay we’ve ever had. Will not Return nor recommend.

Disappointing we have been staying at the Rose for several years. We go multiple times a year love Cabo.The property is starting to look run down. Rooms are outdated our shower barley worked. After first night went to front desk to get the bathroom shower situation resolved. I asked to be put into a different room. They agreed to move us but said we had to wait for a new room. Resort was not busy so there was really no reason why we had to have the Bell Hop come and take our luggage and store it. They told me to come back around noon for new room. Came back at noon still told me they didn't have a room for us yet. So had to basically waste all morning and part of the afternoon to get into a room so we could shower. Time for us to find a new resort to visit.

We love staying a Pueblo Bonito Rose! All inclusive is the only way to go!. My only complaint was working with Expedia. beware... I had a problem when booking and they did not help me at all with the solution. I had to call the property myself and took over one month to fix the problem to a position solution. Don't count on Expedia!

Stayed here mainly because the location is excellent — very close to the beach, marina, restaurants, and easy to walk almost everywhere. The staff was friendly and the overall area felt lively and convenient.

However, the rooms are very outdated and the biggest issue was the strong unpleasant smell inside the room. We had to keep the balcony door open most of the time because the air felt very heavy and uncomfortable. Without fresh air coming in, it was honestly difficult to stay in the room for long periods.

If the hotel renovates the rooms and improves ventilation/freshness, this place could be much better because the location itself is really great.

This hotel is great. The location is amazing (by the beach, close to the downtown area). The swimming pools (along with the one from the next door hotel accessible) are great.
The food options (different restaurants to choose from) are really nice as well.

The staff was really nice and helpful, but i have to say that the restaurant staff were not super friendly.

I was a bit disappointed by the lack of communication from the staff by email. I tried to get info about transportation before arriving, and I also tried to retrieve a lost item after i departed. I emailed them several times and received no answer whatsoever.

Food was mediocre, one restaurant on site was very rude about my daughter’s food allergies. Room service was wonderful in that aspect. Nothing to do in the evening at resort. Grounds were ok nothing exciting. Views from room were nice even when not full view. Drinks took forever if you were in the pool getting served and it wasn’t that busy. Location was nice since it’s close to marina, glad there was other hotels to visit with the all inclusive (sunset was very nice). For us, we would not stay here again due to service and the food allergy issue since it’s big for us. Good average hotel otherwise.

This is my second time here and probably the last one, the food is terrible the first night I had meat that it was impossible to cut when finally I was able to get a piece the meat didn’t have any flavor, i stayed three days I had to get bananas so i didn’t go hungry the staff some of them are really nice and some of them really bad specially the ones by the pool, I was lucky to get Quinti a waiter who helped me for breakfast and lunch he really goes the extra mile, for dinner I got Yareth Roldán she was very nice and helpful

We stayed at the Rose for a week during spring break. Check in was fast and simple. Our room was outdated but clean. We had a view of the pool and could see a sliver of the ocean. The beds were so hard and the pillows were too big. The AC was fine and we had hot water.
The pool was oddly warm and after a few hours got murky. I saw them cleaning it every morning but too many kids and sunscreen would dirty it up. It would make more sense to have an outdoor shower by the pool than in the sand on the beach.
We love this location because of the beach and walking distance to town. The service on the beach was hit or miss. We would tip every server but noticed a lot of other people not.
The food at the resort was disappointing. The guacamole had no flavor. The tacos, pizza, burritos were nothing to write home about. The drinks were also nothing special. The last AI resoet we stayed at had fresh squeezed margs and these ones just taste like sugar and mixer. Luckily we could walk down to Uno Mas.
We tried getting into the sushi spot but it was almost a 2 hour wait so we went to Texican across the street. We finally got into the sushi spot a couple days later and was super disappointed. It didnt take long to seat us but then it took forever to be acknowledged and another 30 min to order. The sashimi was ok. The rolls and fried rice were not good. Paloma also had no flavor, then the waiter expected us to tip off of the calculated bill (I would never pay $125 for). It was very rude.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. I feel with a few improvements this place could be a lot better. At check-in staff did not give information on dinning options or times, where to get pool/ beach towels, themes or activities that went on throughout the week, and how to get around property. Rooms and property were very clean, but outdated and worn down. Most of the staff were friendly, but you definitely received better service if you tipped money especially at the start of service (poolside and dinning). Our housekeeper for the week left a note on our last night, kindly asking for a tip. Our two daughters went for dinner, the waiter asked them for a tip. The app where you make reservations for restaurants and shuttle, was slightly misleading with fine print of charges for dinning at the restaurant. When you reserve a time for the shuttle there is a “ I have read and accept terms and conditions” button you have to select before you can reserve, but not for the dinning where you will be charged. The “i have read and agree to terms.” should be both places for shuttle and dinner reservations. Sushi was really good. Buffet could be better. I loved the beachfront and swimmable ocean.

I booked during spring break. The resort does not respect the rights of non-spring break guests. It is really unfortunate. THey let the kids disrepect other guests, very unhappy with how hey handled a spring breaker throwing a drink in my grandaughters face. Very disappointed.

The housekeeper took all the towels as she should, but, didn't replace the hand towels from the restroom. The next day we asked for an extra towel because there was 5 of us and she left us 4. We also asked for a hand towel. When we returned. Still no hand towels but 2 thin face towels. The last evening, she took the dirty towels and didn't replace any. We came back from the beach and we had to go ask for them from the lobby. We didn't let the towels situation get us down. Just sharing so everyone is aware. It happens.

To start the toilet didn’t have a toilet seat. Staff was rude when renting out the towels. We had towels on our chairs and they got picked up by staff assuming we were using them anymore. We went to get new ones and were told we could not get new ones until we returned the 4 we had earlier. After we explained to the lady what happened she said well next time leave something there so we know your still using the towels. We had the all inclusive option but the choices were very limited for room service. Only had the option of a cheeseburger or nachos.

Great location with plenty of safe areas to walk. We ended up taking the shuttle to Sunset most nights for more food options, as the buffet at Rosé was just average. The gyms at both Rosé and Sunset were clean and well maintained, which I appreciated. Beach was nice for swimming!

The biggest downside was the lack of evening entertainment. More music around the pool or beach would have made a big difference. There was only one karaoke night during our nine-day stay.

Overall, a nice place, but it could use more energy at night.

The staff at Pueblo Bonito Rose are all excellent. The food was amazing, the pool is awesome and the beach is one of the best I've ever been at. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

Needs updating, fixtures in bathroom old, screen door broken, beds hard. Staff could have been friendlier, it was hit or miss. Food options could have been better also, wouldn’t consider this to be a 4.5 star. Maybe a 3/3.5 star.
