Overall the hotel was good and the staff were great. The hotel is a bit dated and could do with a make over. The hotel was in a great location and we were able to us the facilities at the Pueblo Bonita Blanco, right next door and we were also able to shuttle over to the Pueblo Bonita Sunset hotel and use the amazing facilities throughout the complex.

The air conditioning was effective but louder than we had experienced at other resorts, was challenging to sleep through so ended up turning it off.
We were a family of 4, however the kitchen was set up for 3 persons. We did advise front desk however it was not corrected. We made do sharing the utensils.

Overall the experience was excellent and would recommend this property as well return.

I would not stay here again. It’s supposed to be all inclusive but what they don’t tell you is, you have to drive 15 mins to another hotel to experience the best of the all inclusive. The room needs major upgrades. Very spacious, but it’s not clean. Food was 6/10, service was very slow most nights. Kept having to ask for towels after they “cleaned” the room. We couldn’t get pool towels for 2 days in a row. You can’t even relax on the beach cause they allow vendors to harass you every 9 seconds. Just not a great experience.

This was our second stay at Rose this year. If possible, we loved it even more than we did in June! Our favorite employees remembered us and everyone took wonderful care of us. The food and beverage are better than at any resort in Mexico that I have visited. Our room was beautiful and clean. Every single staff member gave 110% to ensure that everyone was happy. I can’t wait to come back in 2026!!! (Special thanks to Areli, David, Naomi and Elizabeth at Blanco, and Luis, Evaristo, Adal and Laura at Rose!)

Nowhere luxury in the room, bad flooring, low quality soap n shampoo, lot of mosquitoes, non working flush, weird noise making faucet, not so great shower, worst is sofa bed n pillows. Our neck was all sore next day. They are cheating telling its luxury room.
Only 1 restaurant on the property which you can make reservations without extra charge, We didn’t get reservations any day of our stay. They should mandate to give at least one.
Pros
The beach and pool are very convenient and great convenience, easily accessible from room. So we enjoyed our stay.
Staff was good, food was good.
Visit to sunset beach for food was great
If you don’t mind room condition then great relaxing vacation place!
Spa is expensive beyond imagination, but good massages at walking distance!

Love the location of the Rose! We loved walking directly down to the gorgeous beach! The staff was wonderful and the Sunset Sushi spot was our fave (in all inclusive plan). Our only complaint is that the rooms need updating and are damp. Be careful if you are sensitive to molds. The problem is that Cabo is humid!

Positives:
1. Nice landscaping, courteous staff, access to beach, walkable to Marina, access to activities, safe in property.

2. Easy to order food and beverages in phone app. Comes to room in 45-50minutes.

3. If you can spend couple of hours (shuttle), access to Sunbset (upscale) property where they have different restaurants (you have to pay for good items even with 'All inclusive') package.

Could improve:

1. Not a good, firm queen bed. If two pleople sleep in the same bed, if the other person turns in the bed, it will wake you up as though its an airline turbulence( or whale movement). We could not sleep well.

2. No good buffet system. Restricted timing and we cannot take food when we want. Wastes a lot of time. Even with 'All Inclusive' package, choices are limited.

3. Poor choice of restaurants in the property.

4. No good food choices for vegetarians/vegans. In the lone buffet, items are not always labelled.

5. There is 24hour non-stop noise from the A/C or motors running. So its not a quiet place.

6. No heated Jacuzzi

7. Their 'welcome breakfast' is a trap for time-share presentation where you will waste ~3.5hours for some tour vouchers.

The staff was wonderful, very friendly, the food was great, the activities were fun. The only downside was the condition of the room. The paint was peeling in the bathroom the bathroom room corners were grimy with mold. The ceiling paint on the shower ceiling was smeared onto the tile. The air conditioning smelled moldy..it seems that the bathroom fan is not powerful enough.

While checking in I reminded the front desk that we were getting a partial ocean view. They said if we didn’t, they would switch us the next morning. The next room was perfect!! Everything about our AI experience was wonderful. We attended both dinner shows as well. Very entertaining! This is our 3rd trip staying at PB Rose in 4 years. Can’t wait to come back.

The room was dirty and worn out. Two light fixtures were hanging off the wall and not working. There was actual dirt by the microwave that wasn’t cleaned up though the room was serviced daily.

A bar of soap from someone’s previous stay was in the soap tray in the shower.

On the plus side the staff was great and the food and beverages were too.

The staff were very friendly and the facilities were clean and well maintained.

The food was mediocre, but overall decent quality for buffet food. Each night is a different theme, so they do change up the food a bit. The other restaurants require you to order, but they usually aren't included in the all inclusive package, so it costs extra.

The rooms themselves were clean, but are dated and worn out. The air conditioner worked well, but it doesn't have an auto switch available so it needs to be turned off manually if it gets too cold.

Unfortunately, I was unaware of extra fees that are added to your bill at the end. They charge you a daily municipal sanitation tax which equated to about $30 USD over a 7 day period.

This resort is one of the few resorts that has a swimmable beach, because most other beaches have a strong under current that is dangerous. Overall a good place to stay, but is a little dated at times and the buffet food could be better.

I understand that this is all about the location which is great and that this is not a new resort. But there is mold in the rooms and air conditioning systems. Our Clothes all smell like mold after being there for five days and the rooms smelled moldy the entire stay. Pool servers are great, but bartenders don’t care about customers standing at the bar waiting for a drink. Drinks not good, even the beer in cans is watery. Great location some very nice people and good times, but the rooms are dirty, and moldy and old. That part is a major detractor.

Pueblo Bonito Rose is such a beautiful resort. I have nothing but good things to say. The food was greeat, the views and the staff. We stayed for 6days and had access to the sister hotels. We were also able to eat at their restaurants and use their pools. Definitely worth getting all inclusive. Its also located relative to center markets and pier. It seems far but its within walking distance.

We had a great stay at Pueblo Bonito Rose overall. The resort is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The beach area was especially nice and offered gorgeous views. Just be aware that the ocean right in front of the resort can be a bit rough, and there’s a slippery, shallow drop-off close to the shoreline, so caution is needed when getting in the water.

Our main issue was the air conditioner in our room. It was extremely loud—when it ramped up, it sounded almost like a jet engine. Unfortunately, it kicked on frequently throughout the night and consistently disrupted our sleep. If the AC noise were improved, our stay would have been close to perfect.

Overall, it’s a lovely resort with a lot to offer, but I’d recommend checking your room’s AC before settling in for the night.

We chose Pueblo Bonita Rose resort because it is listed as a 4+ star all-inclusive resort, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of those expectations.

We reserved what was described as a luxury suite. Instead, we found a dark, outdated room with old, stained furniture. The bathroom and kitchen sink had visible mold, and the entire suite carried a strong mold odor, making it an unpleasant environment throughout our stay. This was not at all the standard of comfort and cleanliness one would expect from a resort of your rating.

Additionally, while your listing promotes the resort as “all-inclusive,” we were surprised and frustrated to encounter surcharges at two of the four on-site restaurants—ironically, the only ones offering quality food. The overall food at the other restaurants was mediocre at best, again falling short of the standards we anticipated.

On top of this, the onsite store engaged in what felt like blatant price gouging. Charging nearly $50 for a basic necessity such as sunscreen is unreasonable and leaves us feeling taken advantage of, especially in a resort destination where such items are essential.

The one positive aspect of our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They did their best to provide good service, despite the disappointing conditions of the accommodations and food.

The resort is very well maintained and I’ve stayed there several times and always very pleased. This year the food was just very average and the recent flooding from the hurricane has left the ground floor rooms needing mildew treatments. Management needs to institute a policy about saving chairs by the pool. Too many customers stake out a chair early each morning and don’t show up to claim their chair until much later in the day. It’s hard to get a pool chair to enjoy.

This was my our second time at Rose this year. We went as a family in May and then as a couple in October. Resort was consistently good for food and room. Resort is clean and maintained. We went to Blanco for breakfast and lunch plus enjoyed their pool one day. We also took free shuttle to Sunset and enjoyed a pool day there. We are happy with this resort and we will be back.

Second time here. Staff is 10/10, from the reception to the beach. Everyone on staff is so kind and attentive!! Any comment that the staff is not nice are just plain lying or were difficult guests! Please be nice to the staff!

There’s really nothing like having a beautiful swimmable beach at your footstep. Lots of kids & families in the water. Super fun! Also lots of vendors though so be prepared. Weather was beautiful.

Room was always clean. Housekeeper did such a good job of cleaning every time we were away! A/C worked great in our room. Nice view of the pool.

I do wish there were more food options at the restaurants at blanco & rose. The food is good, but after being here a second time and eating off the same menus for 5 days, it kind of got a little old. The menus need a change or new additions, even if just on alternating nights. The buffet is a hit or miss, was not our favorite.

Not lots of activities at the resorts. Not really any shows, etc.

There really does need to be a bar that is open later (like at least until midnight/1am) with music or something for the younger adult crowds (21+). The resorts (blanco, rose, and sunset) pretty much are all asleep by 9pm. Which makes sense when most of the guest are about 60+ y/o or families with kids. You do have to leave the resort to do anything past 9pm, which kinda sucks when staying at an all-inclusive in Cabo.

Overall I do love Pueblo Bonito and would recommend.

This hotel is very dated. The food options were not so great. The restaurants with better meal options cost extra at a minimum of $50. Ordering room service seemed to be a lot better. The beds are comfortable. No night life or fun evening events for guests.
